Brenda
Taiwan
My name is Brenda, and I’m a freelance illustrator from Taipei, Taiwan.
I have previous experience in 3D character modeling and texturing, and after working in 2D design,
I wanted to strengthen my digital art skills — which led me to SF Film School.
Korea is globally recognized for its advanced VFX industry,
and SF Film School focuses on training skilled professionals who meet industry standards.
Since I wanted to learn Maya and pursue a career in 3D production,
I felt SF Film School was the right place to help me achieve those goals.
The courses start with fundamental theory and are taught in a way that is easy to understand,
as the instructors carefully demonstrate each step.
Even for foreign students or beginners in Maya, the lessons are very approachable.
The instructors are extremely kind and patient,
and they always take time to give detailed and thoughtful explanations whenever questions arise.
The pace of the lessons is just right — not too fast, not too slow —
and we’re given time to practice and refine our skills even during breaks.
SF Film School doesn’t rely on rigid teaching methods.
Instead, it offers seminars where industry professionals share their insights and provide feedback on student projects.
This makes the learning process even more engaging and inspiring,
allowing students to gain a broad understanding of the professional field.
I especially appreciate how easily we can access practical, real-world techniques through these sessions.
If you’re interested in VFX or 3D animation and want to learn from the fundamentals —
whether your goal is to work in film, games, or advertising,
whether you’re a beginner or an international student —
I’m confident that SF Film School has the right classes for you!
