We are SF Film School. Founded in 2001, we are the first private school in Korea to specialize in professional VFX education. Today, we are recognized worldwide for having one of the best CG & VFX programs.

Many of our graduates work not only in Korea but also around the world. Because we focus on helping our students grow, they have won top awards like first place in the famous Chaos Group competitions. Thanks to their success, SF Film School is known as one of the best schools alongside famous universities and academies.

In 2021, our students joined the Rookies Awards, a global contest for VFX artists. They won first and third place in the CG & VFX categories. This achievement helped show that our school is one of the best places to learn VFX worldwide. Our students also often win first place in the Student Challenge by Chaos Group, who made V-Ray software.

Our program is praised by both VFX artists and the creators of popular VFX software. We don’t just teach tools; we teach students to be storytellers. We help them learn how to plan, design, texture, develop looks, understand anatomy, and animate their work to bring it to life.

Because of the quality of their work, our students have a high chance of getting jobs in Korea and internationally, including Hollywood. To work overseas, you need a strong portfolio and good English skills, plus meeting visa requirements. Our training helps students meet these goals and get important jobs in top companies.

08. Effort

Talent opens doors, but effort builds the foundation. When talent meets a wall, it crumbles. Effort transforms that wall into a staircase.

Hard work doesn't guarantee perfection. But it guarantees growth. And growth is what lasts.

01. Imagination

There is no perfect direction in the world, but we can create a perfect path. That's why we have to imagine what kind of path do we want to create.
Only through active imagination, you can set your own path.

02.Observation

You should not look at things just with your eyes; you have to look at things with your heart and think about it. Like Sherlock Holmes once said, you need to observe rather than seeing. Don't get caught up just with the visuals. Ideas arise only through the observation and constantly considering the purpose behind each object in front of your eyes.

03.Expression

Have you imagined and observed? Now you must express your impression wit your imagination and observation. By learning various techniques in the CGI production, you will express yourself in artistic and professional ways.

05.Communication

The CG field includes a very broad range(movies, broadcasts, dramas, animations, games, and advertisements). All the staff excel at different parts of a production. The quality of production enhance through a thorough communication between the students, graduates, and teachers. Good communication benefit everyone in any team-work.
