SF Film School is a professional educational institution for visual graphics and 3D animation—it is the best graphic institution in South Korea with a long history.

SF Film School is a professional private VFX education institute founded in 2001. Being the first VFX education school in Korea, we are a globally recognized institute with the best CG&VFX education curriculum.

Many of our alumni are working not just in the Korean VFX industry, but all over the world, especially in Hollywood.
Our students won several VFX awards. Thanks to our students, our school could become one of the best VFX education institutes in the world.

In 2021, our students won the first and the third place in the "Rookies", CG & VFX part, and our school was introduced as “the best VFX education institute in the world”.

Furthermore, our school consecutively won the first place in Student Challenge, held by Chao’s group, the creator of V-ray software. Our education curriculum was applauded not only by VFX artists, but also by VFX software developers.

Our education system is beyond just teaching tools and instructing how to use them. We teach our students to be creators who can narrate their own story. We teach storytelling, planning from scratch, texturing, and doing look development. We also teach anatomy and animation to bring life to our students’ artworks.

Our students’ work is globally recognized. Hence, our students have a high employment rate in both the domestic VFX industry and Hollywood.

For overseas employment, your portfolio has to be up to industry level, and have an adequate English requirement to get a Visa sponsorship.

You should not look at things just with your eyes; you have to look at things with your heart and think. Like Sherlock Holmes once said, "you need to observe rather than seeing". Don't get caught up just with the visuals. Ideas arise only through the observation and constantly analyzing the purpose behind each object in front of your eyes.
