“I want to take classes seriously and create results that I can personally be satisfied with.”

I was very satisfied with the curriculum. I especially liked the fact that it does not separate areas such as animation and modeling into fixed tracks. In other academies, I felt pressured because they strongly required students to choose one track, but I liked that SF Film School did not emphasize such restrictive choices.
Above all, I also liked that the building and facilities felt professional and gave a sense of being in a real production environment. I first became aware of the visual graphics field during my university classes, and the reason I chose this field was greatly influenced by my dream of becoming a film director during my entrance exam period.
When it comes to films, I enjoy various genres without discrimination, and I also like animation, so I believe my preferences had the biggest influence on my decision.
After being accepted, I found myself wanting to work hard in class and create results that I could be satisfied with myself. Over the course of nine months, I want to steadily build up my abilities step by step.

“I want to continuously refine my portfolio even after getting a job, and my ultimate goal is to work for an overseas company.”

I have always been very interested in subculture, and when I was a student, I often thought that I wanted to create my own character at least once. I was never afraid of working with computers, and I believed I was quite good at it, which is why I was naturally drawn to this field.
My plan moving forward is to create many works. I believe that in this field, there are two to three times more things to learn compared to other professions. A single modeling work involves countless details, and I believe that the best way to improve my skills is to keep producing more work.
If I complete proper training at SF Film School and successfully graduate, even after getting a job, I want to continue refining my portfolio and ultimately aim to work for an overseas company.

“I thought it was really great that I could stay after class to study and ask questions.”

While watching science fiction films in my daily life, I began to want to create works like those myself, which led me to explore the field further. As I learned Maya, that desire grew even stronger. After COVID-19, as the metaverse and OTT-related markets expanded, my thoughts changed from “I want to try making it myself” to “I want to make this my career.”
I chose this academy because it seemed to offer a more specialized curriculum compared to others and because it appeared to have a wide range of equipment. I also liked the fact that it operates in small group classes. I was especially impressed by the different floors, motion capture studio, and cinema room.
I felt that studying at this academy would allow me to gain diverse experiences, use professional equipment, and learn specialized knowledge. I also thought it was very appealing that I could stay after class to study and ask questions.
I will do my best to study hard from now on.

"I will do my best so that I can be working in the field I want one year from now."

Until earlier this year, I was living in the United Kingdom, and many of my close friends were IT majors. Some of them were also working for game companies. After visiting a game company with a friend who works as an animator, I became interested in the gaming industry.
Because of that influence, I transferred to the Department of New Media at a cyber university last year. In particular, while studying VR, AR, and the Metaverse, I became highly interested in the future growth potential of the XR industry, which led me to develop a serious interest in 3D graphics.
When creating assignments using motion graphics with my classmates, I was so interested in using the software that I would stay up all night working on projects. While researching animation schools, I discovered SF Film School through the Rookie '23 Top Animation School Ranking.
I chose SF Film School because I wanted to make a meaningful investment in my future. My first impression when I visited was that the facilities were excellent, and above all, the students' work was incredibly impressive.
To be honest, I feel quite nervous about starting the program. My original major was not in the field of design, so I believe I will need to put in more effort than many of the other students. However, I will successfully complete the 11-month program, make everything I learn truly my own, and do my very best so that one year from now I will be working in the field that I aspire to enter.
Ultimately, I would like to work as a 3D Environment Artist in Europe within the gaming, VR, AR, and Metaverse industries.

“My ultimate goal is to work at overseas companies such as Riot, Blizzard, and Hazelight.”

I have always been very interested in games, animation, and films. As I was exposed to them frequently, I began to think, “I want to create something like this myself.” I chose this field because I wanted to bring what exists in my imagination into something I can actually see with my own eyes.
I also came to hope that my work could bring enjoyment to others. After seeing the works created by students of SF필름스쿨, I felt that I should study here.
Based on what I learn at the academy, I plan to gain practical experience at a domestic game company, and my ultimate goal is to work at overseas companies such as Riot Games, Blizzard Entertainment, and Hazelight Studios.

"My goal is to learn efficiently through a structured curriculum and achieve strong results."

I was fascinated by the direction of short-form graphic ads and animations, and that’s when I discovered the field of visual graphics. Through YouTube and online research, I was able to learn more in depth. I chose this field because the process of designing and rendering looked enjoyable, and I wanted to feel a sense of accomplishment from the final results.

While searching for a Maya academy, I came across SF Film School through YouTube and Naver. Among the 3D and Maya academies in Korea, it stood out as both systematic and professional, which led me to choose it. During the initial consultation, it matched my expectations in terms of professionalism, and I appreciated how comfortable it felt to ask questions. It gave me confidence that I would be able to communicate freely while studying there.

I am a student who strives to achieve my goals through persistence and consistent effort. With the academy’s professional guidance and structured curriculum, my aim is to learn effectively and produce strong outcomes.

As a complete beginner with no related background or experience, I had many concerns. I questioned whether it was the right path for me as a non-major, but I decided that it’s better to try what I truly want, even if it’s late. Receiving the acceptance email felt like taking a successful first step toward a new challenge. I’m ready to move forward and work hard alongside SF Film School to achieve my new goals.

"I will make the most of the opportunities given to me and continue to grow."

My interest in this field began when I watched works like Final Fantasy and Love, Death + Robots. I was impressed by their stunning visuals, and it made me curious about how such scenes are created. As I explored behind-the-scenes processes, I discovered this field and became deeply interested. I found it especially appealing that it allows the creation of scenes that are difficult to achieve in real life. I also believe this is a field where I can continue to grow in the future.

Among many well-known academies, I came across reviews saying that students from SF Film School have outstanding skills, which led me to visit for a consultation. The facilities were clean, and the instructor explained everything in a way that was easy to understand even for a beginner like me, which left a great impression. I also felt that the curriculum was well-structured and strongly connected to the industry, making me want to study there.

After receiving the acceptance news, my excitement grew even more. I am now eagerly looking forward to the day I can begin studying in earnest. Once I start, my goal is to build a solid foundation step by step and secure a position at a domestic company within a year. To achieve this, I will study hard and make the most of every opportunity given to me. I’m excited about the journey ahead.

"My dream is to return to my alma mater as a mentor and give a special lecture to my juniors."

I first became aware of this field before entering university, as I graduated from a VFX-related program. I chose this field because I found it fascinating that visual effects can create something out of nothing or remove elements seamlessly from existing footage.

As I became more aware of my limitations in VFX, I wanted to further develop my skills. I decided to enroll in SF Film School because its curriculum and teaching approach seemed to suit me well as a CG academy. The fact that there was an interview process made me feel that the school truly cares about its students, and I believed I would gain a lot from the experience.

Moving forward, I plan to fully commit to my studies and make the most of the classes. My goal is to secure a position at a great company, and eventually, return to my university as a mentor to give a special lecture to my juniors.

"I will build a solid and detailed foundation."

I wanted to turn my ideas into videos, so I started creating content using AI, uploading it to YouTube, and analyzing the results. Through continuous research and revisions, I focused on identifying the gap between what I envisioned and what I actually created, then working to close that gap. I found this entire process deeply engaging, and that is what led me to choose this field. I also discovered the field of Visual Graphics while trying to improve the quality of my videos.

The reason I chose SF Film School is because no one could say that its system, curriculum, or the quality of its portfolios is lacking. What stood out the most during my consultation was that the instructor approached me not with a sales mindset, but with the perspective and sincerity of an educator. Through that experience, I felt confident that if I bring passion and commitment to my studies at SF Film School, I can achieve the level of quality I am aiming for.

I believe I have the persistence to tackle each step thoroughly and move forward with focus. I also have strong communication skills and a mindset that pushes me to see projects through to completion. To maintain my initial motivation, I plan to establish a consistent system of self-discipline that allows me to absorb, apply, and expand on what I learn.

With the ambition to become a top-level professional in this industry, I will dedicate myself to building a strong and detailed foundation.

"Now that I’ve made a firm decision to learn, I want to fully commit and give it my best."

My interest in this field began in my first year of high school when I watched Along with the Gods and saw the CG depiction of the seven hells. It looked fascinating and genuinely fun. While working in 2D design, I felt that it focused heavily on the aesthetics of reduction, but with 3D and video, I could clearly see the quality improve in proportion to the time I invested. That made me more motivated, and I found a strong sense of satisfaction and achievement in the process.

As I searched for programs to learn, this academy stood out with the strongest portfolio quality, and it seemed to focus deeply on 3D and CG, which led me to apply. It also gave me a chance to reflect on the design work I had been doing, but ultimately, I wanted to move toward a field that interested me more. Now that I’ve been accepted, I hope to do well and make the most of this opportunity.

Although I explored various areas of design, I found myself most drawn to video and 3D. Even while studying on my own, there were challenges, but I genuinely enjoyed the process. Now that I’ve made a clear decision to pursue this path, I’m ready to work hard and fully dedicate myself.

"I want to continue my career path in game design."

Through my major in spatial design, I learned that possible career paths include interior design, architecture, furniture design, and game level design. However, I wasn’t particularly interested in those fields, and while I was considering my options, I decided to pursue the area I truly enjoy—games.

I first heard about SF Film School through a friend, and it had a strong reputation in Daegu. When I visited the website, I also saw that it has multiple branches nationwide, which made it feel more reliable.

My interest in this academy was also influenced by my love for Overwatch. I really enjoy its cinematic series—the characters are not simple, but complex, each with their own story. I also liked how the short cinematic videos show how the characters come together as Overwatch, which made it easier to immerse myself in the game’s story compared to others.

Even when I had doubts about whether my major suited me, one of the reasons I didn’t give up on school was my dream of eventually working at Blizzard. During a leave of absence, I plan to attend SF Film School to learn Maya, and after returning to university, I intend to take video design classes as a minor. Ultimately, I want to continue building my path toward a career in game design.

"I will take an active approach to learning."

While watching works like Final Fantasy and Love, Death + Robots, I was impressed by their stunning visuals. This sparked my curiosity about how such scenes are created, and as I explored the production process, I discovered the field of Visual Graphics. I chose this field because I was fascinated by the ability to create scenes that are difficult to achieve in real life. I also believe it is a field with strong potential for continuous growth in the future.

As I became more determined to learn, I searched for an academy with a structured curriculum and came across SF Film School. The high quality of the students’ portfolios stood out to me, and I felt that the curriculum was well-organized and strongly connected to the industry, which made me want to study there.

Since this is a completely new field for me, I initially felt some anxiety about whether I would be able to do well. However, when I received the acceptance news, it made everything feel more real, and I became determined to build my skills properly from the basics.

With the goal of creating a strong portfolio, I will approach my studies with initiative and dedication.

"I’m very excited about the opportunity to learn and improve on my weaknesses."

While exploring art-related careers with the goal of working at a game company, I discovered the role of a 3D character modeler. As I continued studying this field, I found myself wanting to bring characters to life, add storytelling elements, and eventually create dynamic scenes combined with music. That’s how I gradually became deeply drawn to 3D.

Starting from zero in animation, I tried to learn 3D animation on my own by purchasing various online courses, but I found it challenging. Taking separate classes on topics like hair and facial modeling from different instructors made it difficult to understand how to connect and effectively use multiple programs. Rather than feeling improvement, I often felt like my learning was scattered and unclear.

That’s when I realized I needed a structured program that covers everything from beginning to end in one place, along with proper mentorship. I wanted to study with a focus on achieving high levels of realism, down to the fine details like skin pores in photorealistic characters. After seeing student portfolios on SF Film School’s YouTube channel, I decided to choose this academy.

I’m truly looking forward to learning and improving the areas where I’m lacking. I will work hard, ask questions, and stay committed so that I can reach the level of quality I envision in my work.

"I may be lacking as a beginner, but I will do my best and fully commit."

While studying ceramics, I realized that I enjoy bringing my ideas and imagination into reality, and that I am more drawn to three-dimensional work than flat, two-dimensional forms. As I explored fields that align with these interests, I discovered VFX and 3D animation.

I’ve always liked 3D animation, so it felt familiar and naturally interesting. VFX, on the other hand, is something I discovered more recently, and I was fascinated to learn that it is widely used in the films and dramas I often watch. The idea of turning imagination into something that feels real—creating what doesn’t exist as if it does—felt especially compelling. I’ve loved watching movies and dramas since I was young, so the opportunity to be part of the creation process is very appealing to me.

While searching for an academy to learn Maya, I came across SF Film School. From the website, including the introduction and curriculum, it gave me the impression of a professional institution with a well-structured and thorough teaching approach. I was also impressed by the high quality of the students’ work, which felt not just formal, but truly professional and artistic. That made me want to experience the classes myself.

I consider myself a positive person who doesn’t give up easily and stays persistent once I start something. Although I’m just beginning and may have many areas to improve, I will give it my all. I look forward to learning and growing through this experience.

"I will work as hard as possible and give it my full passion."

I have been interested in animation since I was young. I enjoyed drawing, which eventually led me to pursue it in university. During my first year, I took classes in various fields, including a Maya course. I initially chose animation because I needed a portfolio for transferring schools, but as I gathered references and worked on building my portfolio, my interest in the field naturally grew.

The honest reason I chose this academy is that it appeared to be the most professional and widely recognized among the options. Since I am currently attending university, I preferred to study offline, so I looked for academies in Daegu. Although I found this academy in a relatively short amount of time, after the consultation, I was drawn to its curriculum and began seriously considering enrolling.

The instructor I met during my first visit demonstrated strong professionalism and clear passion for teaching, which left a positive impression. I am a student with a strong willingness to learn. I actively ask questions about what I don’t know and aim to gain as much knowledge and skill as possible.

Although I may not have a lot of time, I intend to absorb as much as I can from the instructors. I will do my best and approach everything with full dedication and passion.

"I want to become someone irreplaceable."

I’ve long been interested in the graphics field because of the appeal of bringing imagined characters and environments to life in a realistic way. Through my research, I learned that the field is divided into various roles and gained a better understanding of what each involves. I chose this path because working in this industry would feel meaningful and closer to the kind of work I’ve always wanted to do.

There are many impressive works, such as Blizzard cinematics, League of Legends cinematics, Marvel films, and Interstellar, but the one that left the strongest impression on me was Avatar, which I watched in elementary school. The विशाल and majestic trees, along with the mysterious and vibrant world of Pandora, are still unforgettable. I remember feeling excited and happy throughout the entire film.

The feeling I have now, as I apply to SF Film School, is similar to what I felt back then. My desire to learn here remains the same, and it has only become stronger. Although this is a new field for me and I feel both excitement and uncertainty, I am determined to study hard, grow beyond just getting a job, and ultimately become someone truly irreplaceable.

"I will find the areas that suit my aptitude and approach them with sincerity."

I enjoy watching movies in theaters, and the visual effects I experience there bring me great excitement, which led me to explore the field of Visual Graphics. As a hobby, I draw portraits and strive for realistic depiction. I became interested in VFX because I realized that by learning it consistently, I could achieve the results I envision not only through drawing but also by creating them in 3D.

While researching VFX, I came across SF Film School and felt that it had clear differences compared to other academies. I was impressed by the quality of the students’ work, and the friendly consultation process gave me a strong sense of trust. Through the curriculum, I plan to identify the areas that best match my aptitude and fully commit to them.

I understand that I can sometimes be forgetful or feel a bit scattered in my approach. I would greatly appreciate your understanding and guidance as I work to stay focused and improve throughout the course.

"I want to grow into an artist with strong competitiveness in the global market."

I believe Visual Graphics is a field that is widely present and familiar in modern society. After entering my major and experiencing various disciplines, I developed a strong interest in motion graphics and modeling. While considering my career path and searching for a Maya academy, I came across a high-quality portfolio video on YouTube. This led me to SF Film School, and as I explored more graduate portfolios, my trust in the institution continued to grow.

During my visit, I had the chance to tour the facilities, and I was impressed by both the students’ passion and the school’s support system. It made me feel that, given the opportunity, I truly wanted to learn in this environment. At the time of applying, I felt that SF Film School was not just an academy, but a professional educational institution. Seeing the structured curriculum and the quality of student work gave me excitement and confidence that studying here would bring me closer to my goals.

The kindness of the instructors and their attentive approach during the consultation further strengthened my trust in the school. When I received the acceptance, I felt both excitement for a new challenge and a strong sense of responsibility. Knowing that the program is selective, I became even more determined to make the most of this opportunity and fully absorb everything it offers.

With continuous self-improvement and a strong sense of responsibility, I aim to develop my skills through professional training at SF Film School and produce high-quality work in the field of environment design. My goal is to create outstanding results based on what I learn here, and ultimately grow into an artist who is competitive on a global level. I will keep pushing myself to achieve this.

"I want to become a graphic designer who can share the sense of wonder I felt from CG with others."

When I first experienced VR in high school, I was struck by how new and immersive it felt. That moment made me want to create and share similarly awe-inspiring experiences with others. Among many academies, I wanted to learn from a place that produces the highest level of work. After attending a consultation, I felt a strong sense of trust—the curriculum and even the learning environment were structured in a very organized and professional way. I also appreciated that there was no pressure to enroll, and that they considered my situation and suggested alternative options, which further strengthened my trust.

I value attention to detail and have a mindset of turning weaknesses into strengths. I want to become a graphic designer who can deliver the same sense of awe and impact that I once experienced through CG. I was deeply impressed by the high-quality portfolios produced by students here, which motivated me to apply. Now that I have been accepted, I feel a strong commitment to create work at that same high level, and that determination has become one of my core goals.

"I will work hard to build a strong portfolio."

My interest in graphics began with 2D animation. Later, after experiencing console games, I became interested in 3D graphics, which led me to take courses in 3D modeling and game production at university. Among what I learned, I found the game field the most engaging, which is why I decided to pursue this path.

I started looking for an academy to create a portfolio for both my graduation project and future employment. I chose SF Film School because the quality of its portfolios is high and the curriculum appears to be well-structured. Overall, the facilities seem well-equipped, and I appreciated the quiet and focused learning environment.

Since I feel I didn’t fully learn these skills at school, I’m glad to have the opportunity to study them again properly. I will dedicate myself to building a strong portfolio.

"I will work hard, as this is something I chose to pursue."

I have been interested in films throughout my school years, and currently I mainly watch fantasy and animation. Watching works like Avatar, Fast & Furious, and The Chronicles of Narnia left a strong impression on me, and made me dream of becoming part of creating such projects. That is what led me to pursue CG.

I came across SF Film School while searching online, and I appreciated how they showed genuine interest in students and took the time to understand them. The students’ portfolios also appeared very solid. I was slightly worried that the acceptance criteria might be high, so seeing the word “accepted” was a great relief.

Since this is something I truly want to do, I am determined to give it my all. My goal is to build a portfolio strong enough to pursue opportunities overseas. I would greatly appreciate your guidance along the way.

"I want to make the most of this opportunity to learn and do my best to truly develop my skills."

I have always enjoyed movies and animation, and I’ve been exposed to a wide range of visual content. My previous studies were in acting and film, so I have some basic understanding of the surface aspects of production. As I began considering a different career path, I explored the CG field and came across SF Film School. While watching the videos on their website, I had a realization—I didn’t necessarily want to be the one in front of the camera, but I found the process of building and creating worlds incredibly interesting. I began to think that creating through graphics could also be a way of contributing to the films and games I love, by bringing new characters and environments to life.

As I continued researching out of curiosity, I felt that this field aligns well with my aptitude and is something I could genuinely enjoy and dedicate myself to. Since I was starting with very little knowledge, I looked for a place that felt highly professional, and compared to other academies, SF Film School stood out as structured and specialized.

When I visited for a consultation, I felt confident that I could receive a truly systematic and professional education here. Most importantly, the conversation helped resolve many of the questions and uncertainties I had. After the consultation, I was shown around the facilities, and everything—from the environment to the explanations—reinforced the impression of a highly professional institution.

I still feel that my knowledge is limited, both when I first applied and even now. However, through the consultation, I’ve gained more clarity, and if anything, my passion has only grown stronger. Now that I’ve been given this opportunity to learn, I am determined to do my best and truly build my skills.

"I believe my experience at SF Film School will serve as an important bridge toward the global stage."

My interest in films and animation naturally led me to become interested in visual graphics as well. Since I was young, I often thought, “I want to create worlds like that too,” though I didn’t know where or how to begin, so it remained just a dream. However, when I first encountered a 3D modeling tool at school—even though I only created a simple product—I realized that if I studied this field professionally, I could bring to life the complex worlds I had always imagined in films.

After discovering SF Film School, I explored its website and was impressed by the outstanding quality of the students’ work, which became a major reason for my decision. I was also drawn to the small, selective class system, which allows for personalized feedback as well as opportunities to share ideas and collaborate with peers.

During the consultation, I felt that this was a place where I could turn my dreams into something concrete and achievable. After learning more about the system, that belief became even stronger. As someone who is passionate about films and 3D animation, I applied because I want to deeply understand and explore the full potential of this field.

I enjoy learning new things and am not afraid of challenges. Here, I want to exchange ideas, build my skills, and grow into a creator who can craft meaningful stories and move people. I am confident that I will work harder than anyone else, as I believe this experience will become a crucial stepping stone toward reaching the global stage.

"I applied because I have confidence in my dream."

I was amazed by how Dune used LED screens to create more natural visuals, and Avatar deeply impressed me with how it brought a fantastical world to life in such a realistic way. Growing up watching Marvel and Disney, I developed a sense of imagination and inspiration. Recently, learning that many Korean artists contributed to films like Elemental and Inside Out 2 made me even more interested, and I began to wonder, “Maybe I can do this too.”

However, my current major does not cover these areas in depth, making it difficult to study them seriously. That is why I decided to apply to an academy. Compared to my expectations, the system here felt much more solid and well-structured, which gave me confidence. With a clear decision to pursue VFX as my career path, I applied to SF Film School to properly learn and develop my skills.

I tend to be adaptable to others. While I can express my own opinions, I am also open to accepting others’ ideas if they are better, which I see as both a strength and a weakness. Once I decide to do something, I follow through to the end, though I can be spontaneous and sometimes impulsive. I am highly motivated when it comes to things I enjoy, but I recognize that I may lack interest in areas that do not engage me.

That said, I communicate well with others and maintain positive relationships. Most importantly, I have strong confidence in my dream, which led me to apply here. I am determined to work harder than anyone else and do my best.

"I want to treat this as my last chance—so even if I feel afraid, exhausted, or slow at times, I will not give up and will see it through to the end."

I discovered the field of visual graphics through works shared on platforms like YouTube, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and ArtStation. I have always enjoyed creating things, but after seeing those works, I wanted to improve my skills and create at a higher level myself, which led me to choose this field.

While attending school, I felt the need to further develop the areas where I was lacking and reach a level where I could apply to the companies I aspire to join. I chose SF Film School because it was relatively close to home and was recommended by a classmate. When I visited in person, my first impression was that it felt like a workspace truly suited for focused creation.

When applying, I was nervous, wondering whether I would be able to keep up and produce strong work. Hearing that I was accepted felt unfamiliar, as it had been a long time since I last heard those words. It also made me realize that I want to become someone who is accepted even in the places I truly aspire to challenge.

Now that I have the opportunity after graduation to fully focus on what I want to do, I want to push myself to see how far I can go—what kind of portfolio I can create and how I can present my work. Even if I feel afraid, tired, or slow along the way, I will not give up. I want to see my limits for myself and follow this path to the end.

"I will study hard so that this period can be remembered as a time when I truly gave my best."

I naturally became aware of the field of Visual Graphics through watching Marvel films and other content that heavily uses visual effects. What I find most compelling about this field is that it allows me not only to imagine worlds, but to actually bring them to life through technical skills.

I have a strong desire to tell engaging stories and deliver them to people in a memorable way. In particular, I want to create those worlds myself based on my own imagination. While it’s possible to pursue directing and rely on VFX artists, I believe that those who have hands-on experience and a deep understanding of the field can express ideas with greater detail and a broader range.

After watching SF Film School’s work on YouTube, I was impressed by the high level of quality. I also noticed that both award-winning projects and beginner-level works were shared, which gave me the impression that education for all levels is actively supported. Seeing interviews with artists from well-known global companies further reinforced my belief that the school is recognized internationally and offers opportunities not only for domestic employment but also for global careers.

If given the chance, I wanted to use this experience to overcome my unfamiliarity with 3D tools and improve my skills, while also expanding my career opportunities. I wasn’t fully confident about being accepted, as I wasn’t sure if my current level aligned with the school, but I’m very glad to have received a positive result.

As an accepted student, I’m grateful for the opportunity to strengthen the areas where I’ve been lacking over the next six months. When I look back on my time at SF Film School in the future, I want it to be remembered as a period where I gave my absolute best without regrets.

"I believe this will become a foundation that allows me to grow in a variety of situations."

The reason I was drawn to the 3D field is that it enables the creation of immersive and expressive visuals that are difficult to achieve in 2D, by combining creativity with advanced technical skills. As I studied 3D myself, I realized how stimulating this field is. While all fields evolve over time, 3D, in particular, delivers a strong sense of achievement and immediate visual feedback through its results.

Seeing my effort and passion take shape so directly was incredibly appealing, and it motivated me to pursue this field with even greater dedication. I see 3D as more than just a technical skill—it is a challenging field that offers both creative fulfillment and a strong sense of accomplishment.

I chose SF Film School because I believed it offers a curriculum that helps students quickly adapt to real-world production, along with an environment that supports focused learning. Compared to other institutions, SF Film School stood out for its deep-rooted passion and tradition in the 3D field. I believe these strengths go beyond simply preparing for employment, and will instead serve as a solid foundation for growth in various situations.

I look forward to growing through a program that aligns well with me at SF Film School.

"I will develop my skills to the level where I can independently and efficiently complete CG work.

I was drawn to CG technology because it allows me to bring imagined elements—such as vast space environments and extraterrestrial life—into existence within a virtual world. Watching film production processes also inspired me to want to participate in filmmaking myself. I realized that I am well-suited to this field, as I can focus for long periods while working at a computer, and I appreciate the flexibility to easily revise and refine my work throughout the process.

Additionally, through a conversation with a senior who is employed at an international company, I gained insight into the industry’s standards and direction, which further solidified my determination to become a professional in this field. After taking a leave of absence to prepare for my career, I began searching for academies and was drawn to SF Film School, particularly because of its strong recognition in the CG and VFX categories at the Rookie Awards.

When I visited for a consultation, I was impressed that the entire building was dedicated to the academy, which reflected the large number of students who choose to study there. During the consultation, I received detailed answers to my questions, and I especially appreciated that class sizes are limited and consistent, allowing beginners to better adapt and improve their skills in a stable learning environment.

At SF Film School, I plan to fully commit to the Maya and ZBrush curriculum with passion and consistency. I will manage my condition to stay focused without burning out, and steadily build my skills step by step until I can confidently and efficiently handle CG work on my own. I also look forward to learning from instructors, peers, and mentors, gaining a deeper understanding of the field, and ultimately creating a strong portfolio that will help me secure a position as a 3D modeler at a reputable film production company.

"I want to become a 3D artist who can contribute to the game and film industries."

I took a basic course in Unreal Engine 5, and unlike 2D graphic design, I was fascinated by how I could create environments and models in 3D and see them rendered in real time with a cinematic quality. This experience made me want to build a stronger foundation while learning more advanced tools. As I researched the field, I discovered that areas like VFX and CG commonly use programs such as Maya, 3ds Max, Unreal Engine, and Houdini. I was drawn to the idea of using these tools to create realistic visuals that go beyond what can be expressed in 2D, which led me to choose the Visual Graphics field.

While searching for academies, I came across several student portfolios from SF Film School through YouTube recommendations. Compared to others, the quality stood out clearly, and the reviews were also positive. I had consultations at other academies as well, but they often felt sales-driven. In contrast, at SF Film School, I felt genuine interest in my background and goals, which built a strong sense of trust. Touring the facilities also left a good impression, as the entire building seemed designed to support students in a comfortable and focused learning environment.

With a strong interest in 3D design, I want to learn and grow through hands-on experience and participate in various projects. Ultimately, my goal is to become a 3D artist who can make meaningful contributions to both the game and film industries.

"I believe this is an opportunity to further develop myself."

While working as a web designer, I began to feel that the industry was rapidly changing with the rise of AI. As the company faced difficulties, web designers were among the first to be let go, and I also sensed that the role was often seen as easily replaceable. This led me to think more seriously about continuing my design studies. Since I had a strong interest in 3D visuals, I decided that I wanted to learn motion as well.

Recently, after watching 3D content in films and on YouTube, I found myself thinking, “I want to create something like that too.” That’s when I discovered motion graphics. When I applied to the academy, I felt both excitement and nervousness. I was highly interested in 3D graphics and had a strong desire to learn professionally, so I believed this would be an important first step toward my future. At the same time, I also worried about whether I would be able to keep up with the program or if my skills might fall short compared to others.

However, this process made me reflect on my goals and passion once again, and my excitement for taking on a new challenge continued to grow. Thinking about the skills I will gain and the potential for growth ahead fills me with anticipation.

When I received the acceptance, I felt both relief and happiness. It gave me confidence that the training here will support my growth as a 3D artist, and I became even more excited for what lies ahead. At the same time, I also felt a strong sense of responsibility. Being accepted is not the end goal—it’s more important to truly learn and grow through this opportunity.

Although I feel some nervousness about learning in a new environment with others, I believe this is a valuable chance to push myself further. Now, I clearly realize that this is not just an interest anymore, but the beginning of a journey to acquire practical skills and build a strong portfolio.

"I want to create imaginative visuals through my creativity and attention to detail."

While working at a public institution, I heard that a university colleague had found a job in the CG field. Even during my time there, I felt that the path I was on didn’t truly suit me, yet I struggled to let go. However, after seeing my colleague’s work, I realized that I should pursue what I genuinely want to do.

During my university years, I was always interested in expressing my ideas creatively through visual media. In the end, I came to the conclusion that I want to fully dedicate myself to what I truly enjoy, which led me to seriously pursue the Visual Graphics field.

While searching for VFX and CG academies through SNS, blogs, and YouTube, SF Film School stood out to me. After seeing the high-quality portfolio work of its graduates, I felt a strong desire to immerse myself in creating 3D visual content.

I am confident in my work ethic and am willing to put in the time and effort, even if it requires long hours, to achieve the results I aim for. I find a strong sense of accomplishment in completing projects, and I believe that studying Visual Graphics will allow me to grow significantly.

I also believe that 3D visual media has a powerful advantage in conveying a creator’s intent—such as story and purpose—clearly and intuitively to the audience. Through my creativity and attention to detail, I want to create meaningful and engaging visual content.

Although I am still new to the Visual Graphics field and may have many areas to improve, I am committed to investing the necessary time and effort to achieve strong results. Choosing a new path has come with many concerns and doubts, but I am ready to overcome them and continue growing through dedication and persistence.

"I will become a skilled VFX artist."

While taking special effects courses at university, I studied the history and various types of VFX. Unlike before, when I simply thought of it as “CG,” I came to understand that the field consists of many different areas. Among them, I became particularly interested in matte painting and the creation of natural environments and backgrounds.

After graduating from a film major, I found myself more drawn to post-production work rather than on-set roles. In order to pursue a career related to visual effects, I searched online for VFX academies and came across SF Film School. Seeing the many discussions about the school, along with its awards and the quality of student work on the website, led me to apply.

What stood out to me was that the process involved first and second interviews to understand each student and determine whether they are a good fit for the program. This gave me the impression that it is not just an academy that simply teaches, but one that genuinely considers its students, which built my trust.

After learning about the facilities, overseas employment opportunities, and special lectures offered, I felt confident that I would be able to learn a great deal here. Being selected as an accepted student made me feel a stronger sense of responsibility, especially knowing that the instructors believed I was a good fit for the program.

Moving forward, I will dedicate myself to studying hard and continue working toward becoming a skilled VFX artist.

"I want to develop skills that are recognized in the professional field."

I have always enjoyed watching films, but beyond simply enjoying them, I became deeply curious about how the scenes were created. Through making-of videos, I learned that many of these scenes are produced using graphics. From that point on, I became interested in VFX and CG technologies, and I continued to explore related content to broaden my understanding.

Ultimately, my curiosity about CG, sparked through film, led me to this field, and I set a goal of building practical skills to grow into a professional. I want to create work through VFX that can bring emotion and awe to audiences.

In my department, the curriculum was more focused on games, which made it difficult to study the kind of VFX I wanted. While searching for a more specialized way to learn, I discovered this academy through online research. The biggest reason I chose it was its practice-oriented approach. Since VFX is a field where hands-on experience and portfolio quality matter more than theory, the consultation gave me confidence that this is a place I can trust.

Even when I visited the academy, I felt a sense of excitement that reminded me of when I first became interested in this field. When applying, I felt both anticipation and nervousness, but I strongly wanted to learn here because the practical training aligns with my goals. After being accepted, I felt both excitement and a sense of responsibility, which strengthened my determination to do my best.

Moving forward, I will dedicate myself to learning at SF Film School and work toward developing skills that are recognized in the professional industry.

"I want to absorb as much as possible, practice what I learn, and build the skills needed to secure a job."

After graduating from university, I enrolled in a three-year animation college. Although I had to withdraw due to personal reasons, that experience introduced me to Maya, which I found highly engaging. I became particularly interested in lighting, and I was drawn to the idea of creating cinematic-quality animation.

While studying on my own, I felt that my skills were not improving as much as I had hoped, and I began to feel anxious about employment. I believe that SF Film School will provide the support I need. When I first visited the website, I was genuinely impressed. I had often looked at The Rookies while studying independently, and seeing that this school has achieved top rankings there was surprising.

I have also heard that the quality of student portfolios reflects the level of an institution, and after seeing the work from SF Film School students, I gained strong trust in the program. When I applied, I felt very nervous—it felt like starting over, which brought both uncertainty and concern. Now that I’ve been accepted, I feel excited, but also a sense of responsibility to perform well and achieve strong results.

Moving forward, I want to make the most of my time by learning as much as I can, applying it through practice, and steadily building the skills needed for employment. While I have access to the instructors, I hope to gain as much practical knowledge and professional insight as possible.

"I will take responsibility and stay committed to the program until the end."

My interest in VFX and CG grew as I watched films and explored related materials. I have always enjoyed creating things in a three-dimensional way, such as sculpture and 3D modeling, which led me to choose the field of Visual Graphics.

Among all the works I’ve seen, Interstellar left the strongest impression on me. Watching it in the theater was the first time I truly felt overwhelmed by a film. The vastness of space and the awe-inspiring depiction of planets made me constantly wonder, “How did they even imagine and create something like this?” It left a lasting sense of admiration.

While searching for CG academies, I learned that SF Film School is one of the largest in Korea. After receiving guidance, I felt that, unlike other institutions, it focuses entirely on CG and provides a structured and specialized approach to teaching.

Since I was young, I have enjoyed shaping characters and figures using clay, and I have always been fascinated by CG environments and characters in films and animations. Although I am not yet very familiar with computer programs, I have a strong interest and passion for CG and VFX.

With a sense of responsibility, I will stay committed and fully engage in the program until the end.

"I will build a strong foundation at SF Film School."

During my undergraduate years, I remember being amazed to learn that, in many live-action films, almost everything on screen except the actors was created using 3D graphics. In the digital era, filmmaking has essentially become a form of graphic work, and I came to feel that studying graphics is no longer optional, but essential.

I am currently working at a content production studio, creating webtoons. As webtoons are based on a scrolling interface, they tend to share similarities with cinematic language more than traditional printed comics. Recently, there has been a growing demand for 3D graphics in webtoon production. While working on long-term projects, I also came to realize how essential visual storytelling and adaptation into video formats have become in content creation.

Through the need for 3D assets in my work, I began to think about expanding both my career and the potential of my content—from still-image-based webtoons into video. While searching online for a place to learn Maya, I discovered SF Film School. From its name and website, I felt that it offers not only technical training, but also a deeper understanding of the overall filmmaking process.

Being in an environment where I can fully dedicate myself to studying visual production is something I truly look forward to. I am grateful for the opportunity, and I will do my best to build a solid foundation at SF Film School.

That is what led me to choose this field.

While searching online, I came across SF Film School. The instructor who guided me through the consultation was highly professional and explained everything in detail, which gave me a strong sense of trust. I also felt that this would be a place that could effectively support my goal of working abroad, which influenced my decision.

After changing my major, I began studying 3D modeling on my own, and two years ago, when I secured my current job, the feeling was indescribable. "I want to learn properly and grow into a skilled artist.

I have set my ultimate goal as becoming an animator. I put aside all my previous concerns and reflected on what first inspired me to pursue this path. No matter how practical or promising a choice may be, it holds no meaning if it is not something I truly enjoy. The most important question for me was whether I could emotionally connect with a character.

Even when drawing as a hobby, I always focused on whether a single image could vividly convey a character’s emotions. To achieve this, I used dynamic compositions, expressive facial features, and dramatic situations. Once I clearly understood what I genuinely wanted to pursue, I became certain that animation was the field I should dedicate myself to.

Before choosing SF Film School, I visited and researched many academies. Through my experience working as a developer, I learned how critical the starting point is—early skills and foundational experiences have a lasting impact on long-term growth. That is why I believed it was essential to find an environment where I could build a strong foundation.

After careful consideration and advice from others, I visited SF Film School and ultimately decided to enroll. I believe this institution provides an environment closely aligned with real-world practice and offers an exceptionally high level of education.

As an accepted student, I want to fully commit to learning here and grow into a well-trained, capable artist.

"I want to grow into a competitive artist both domestically and internationally."

I have always enjoyed films that make strong use of CG, such as John Wick, Avatar, and The Avengers. While watching them, I often wondered, “How are these visual effects created?” What started as simple curiosity gradually deepened, and I came to realize that these effects are not just visually impressive, but also essential elements that enhance immersion and storytelling.

As I watched scenes created with CG, I began to want to create them myself, which led me to decide to learn the necessary skills. While researching, I discovered the field of Visual Graphics. The combination of technology and creativity made it even more appealing, and the idea that I could move beyond simply watching to actually creating was especially exciting. Most importantly, the thought that I could make others feel the same emotions I experienced through visual effects left a strong impression on me and solidified my decision to pursue this field.

When I explored the SF Film School website and saw the students’ work, I was impressed by the high quality of the projects. It gave me confidence that I, too, could create work at that level if I studied there. The facilities and curriculum introduced on the website were also very appealing. In addition, seeing successful cases of students who went on to work overseas after training at SF Film School became a strong source of motivation.

During my in-person consultation, I was able to see the facilities firsthand, and I was impressed by the high-quality equipment and well-structured learning environment. I am someone who truly enjoys visual media and has a strong passion for this field. I am persistent in pursuing my goals and committed to seeing things through to the end. Although I am a beginner, I have a strong willingness to learn.

Through structured training at SF Film School, I want to build my skills and grow into an artist who is competitive on both a domestic and global level.

"I felt that SF Film School’s curriculum is more structured compared to other academies."

I have always aimed to become an animator. Although I originally planned to major in 2D animation, I naturally became interested in related fields, as working in animation ultimately involves understanding the entire visual production process.

Drawing is something anyone can do, and I do not consider myself exceptionally skilled at it. I realized that I may not become the best in that area, which led me to search for a different strength. I came to the conclusion that visual production is a field where I can work more comfortably and effectively, and that is why I chose this path.

Compared to other academies, SF Film School’s curriculum felt more structured. I believe that by studying here, I will be able to clearly identify my weaknesses and improve upon them.

I enjoy games, and recently I have developed an interest in game artwork and animation. I particularly like The Witcher series and the Persona series. I am especially drawn to design and modeling.

Although I tend to be introverted and may not express myself easily, I will do my best and continue to work hard.

That is why I chose video design within the Visual Graphics field. I was especially interested in learning 3D graphics focused on film.

While exploring other academies, I felt that many of them focused primarily on teaching tools rather than fostering creativity or guiding students toward their desired direction. As I was 고민 about this, I happened to discover SF Film School through a search, and I felt that it was the right place for me.

My first impression was that the school has strong international connections and a high number of skilled students. Being accepted made me feel relieved and happy, but at the same time, I also feel some चिंता about the future.

I hadn’t given much thought to my career until I had to choose a path before graduating high school. As I started thinking about what I truly enjoy, I realized how much I had always loved watching movies with my family and friends. I especially remembered rewatching Marvel films multiple times, which led me to search for careers related to film. That’s when I discovered the field of VFX and decided to pursue it.

Around the same time, I had the opportunity to learn more about this field through a VFX designer working at my father’s company. Hearing about their work and career path made a strong impression on me and reinforced my decision.

After deciding to study at an academy, I explored several options and ultimately chose SF Film School because it seemed the most specialized and aligned with the film industry I want to enter. My first impression was that it felt like a real film studio, and during the consultation, I even felt a bit overwhelmed by the environment.

“I will challenge myself without fear and give it my all.”

Rather than playing games myself, I have always enjoyed watching them, and one day I began to wonder what it would be like if other people could also experience the worlds I imagine. That thought became the reason I chose this path.

I wanted to pursue a new field of study, but instead of focusing only on employment, I wanted to start by building a strong foundation from the basics, which is why I searched for a place like this. It felt like a place that not just anyone could enter, and I liked the idea of learning through a cohort system where people with similar characteristics and interests study together rather than individually.

Although I can be a little shy, I also have an active side, so I tend to adapt well to new environments. Once I become focused on something, I usually see it through to the end even if my skills are still lacking. Taking on something new naturally comes with fear, but I want to overcome it with persistence.

I used to worry and ask myself, “Can I really do this?” or “Will I be able to succeed?” But after being accepted, those fears gradually turned into confidence, making me think, “Let’s give it a try,” and “I can do this.” Just as I was not afraid to change my major, I will continue to face challenges without fear and do my very best.

“I will work hard so that my strengths stand out more than my weaknesses.”

The colors, movements, and visual storytelling shown in animation deeply fascinated me. This experience naturally led to an interest in design, especially in advertising, where I became curious about how people react to visual content. Watching powerful images and characters in advertisements capture people’s attention and deliver messages in memorable ways made me think, “How exciting would it be if I could influence people through visual expression like this?”

My desire to create and produce animations myself continued to grow, which eventually led me to attend a specialized high school. Although I studied the Blender program on my own, I often felt lost and unsure about where or how to begin. While searching for an academy, I came across SF Film School and decided to choose it for several reasons.

The biggest reason was the quality of SF Film School’s portfolio work. In addition, the academy’s equipment and overall system were very impressive. The environment was equipped with advanced technology and practical training facilities, making it possible to gain real hands-on experience rather than only learning theory. All of these aspects gave me great confidence and convinced me that SF Film School was the ideal place to study 3D graphics in a structured and professional way. Even from my first impression, I strongly felt that this was the place where I wanted to learn.

Although I still have many areas where I need improvement, I will do my best and work hard so that people notice my strengths more than my weaknesses. I also know that I lack experience with 3D programs, but I will participate actively in every class and seek guidance whenever there is something I do not understand. During my time here, I will continue to work hard, learn continuously, and show my growth through dedication and effort.

“I will become a student who never disappoints myself.”

I have always enjoyed working with programs of any kind. While other people were studying with pencils in their hands, I was holding a mouse and teaching myself video editing. Later, when my parents told me that I could pursue what I truly wanted after graduating from university, I realized I had no clear idea of what I wanted to do.

One day, while talking with a friend who often discussed games and different ideas about the world with me, he mentioned that he was majoring in game planning. He told me, “You really enjoy working with programs, and whenever I talk to you, I can tell how much you genuinely like games. I think studying something related to games would suit you well.” After hearing that, I slowly started looking into the field.

The reason I became interested in graphics was also because of that friend’s recommendation. I briefly studied through another platform, and it felt like a much better fit for me than I had expected. To be honest, the only things I had made at that point were very basic effects like simple fire or rain, but I became deeply absorbed in the thought that maybe I could finally create the kinds of things I had always wanted to make.

Because I wanted to seriously study what I was interested in, I considered whether I should take private lessons or attend an academy, and eventually decided on an academy. While searching online, I came across many comments saying that graduates from SF Film School were especially skilled at their work, so I applied right away.

At the time I applied, I honestly felt both excitement and anxiety, wondering, “Is this really the kind of academy I’m imagining?” However, after receiving counseling and being accepted, I gained confidence that I could truly succeed here, even before officially starting the program.

From now on, if my instructors guide me well, I will follow with dedication and work as hard as I can. I will become a student who never disappoints myself.

“I was able to come this far by starting, persevering, and continuing to put in effort.”

While working, I became interested in 3D graphics and animation as video content began to be used more frequently in performances. In the future, I also plan to expand into video-related industries as part of my business and professionally develop stage backgrounds and transition visuals used in performances.

As I continued producing performances, I noticed that more productions were being combined with visual media, which made me realize the need for more professional and systematic training. After researching many different places, I searched for an institution that offered both structured, specialized knowledge and practical, hands-on education. Through that process, I came to believe that SF Film School was one of the best places in this field, which is why I chose it.

During the interview process, after seeing and hearing about many different places, I once again felt that the educational curriculum and practical training environment here were truly excellent.

Since I was young, I have worked in fields that people often describe as difficult and demanding. Even when others said it was too late, I never once believed that learning had an age limit. By starting, persevering, and continuing to work hard, I was able to come this far. I have experienced failure, but I have also overcome it. I have never neglected learning in the field I wanted to pursue, and I have always been the type of person who does not give up and continues until the end.

I am positive-minded and proactive, and I know how to overcome the stress that comes from work. Although this is a professional field I have not experienced before, I have a strong determination to succeed. “My goal is to become a professional who creates creative and impactful visual effects.”

Because my mother loved movies, I was naturally exposed to films from a young age, which led me to develop a strong interest in cinema. Through these experiences, I began to dream of working in the film industry, and while researching related careers, I discovered the field of VFX.

Among the five human senses, I have always been especially fascinated by visual stimulation, which made me even more interested in becoming a VFX artist among the many professions in the film industry. Since VFX is a field that requires specialized technical skills, I believed that studying entirely on my own would be extremely difficult, which led me to search for a professional VFX academy.

Before choosing an academy, I considered several important factors, including the quality of education, the structure of the curriculum, and the effectiveness of career support programs for graduates. After comparing several institutions based on these standards, I became convinced that SF Film School was the place that best matched my goals.

I believe that SF Film School is not simply a place to learn technical skills, but a partner that can help students grow together toward their dreams. Through VFX, I want to visually express imaginary worlds and allow others to experience the same sense of visual wonder and excitement that I have felt myself.

I plan to continuously challenge myself by participating in various projects, gaining experience, and improving my expertise. Ultimately, my goal is to grow as a VFX artist and become a professional who creates creative and memorable visual effects across a wide range of content.

“I will approach every class sincerely and with dedication.”

I have always enjoyed movies, dramas, and animation, which led me to become interested in learning more about the production process and technical fields behind them. As I continued watching impressive visuals created through backgrounds, effects, and other digital techniques, I naturally came to admire this kind of work and began thinking that I also wanted to create projects like these myself.

I first learned about SF Film School through an acquaintance’s recommendation and later received counseling after researching it online. At first, I think I approached it without too much pressure. However, during the consultation, I was very impressed by the academy’s small-group teaching system, interior design, and facilities. It made me feel that this was an environment where I could study hard and grow effectively.

At that moment, I also became convinced that if I were to learn CG, SF Film School was the right place to do it. Although I felt nervous during both the consultation and the application process, I feel much more at ease now that I have been accepted.

From now on, I will participate in every class sincerely and with dedication, always doing my best to learn and improve.

“I will never give up and will always do my very best.”

I once dreamed of creating animation and wanted to pursue a career through drawing, but I gave up due to strong opposition from my parents. At the time, I was also aware of the field of 3D animation, but because I had not yet seen truly high-quality work, I convinced myself that it was not the right path for me and spent years setting the idea aside.

However, after becoming an adult and watching countless Hollywood films and CG animations, my perspective completely changed. I realized that this field could allow me to bring to life the scenes and characters I had imagined in my mind for such a long time, which ultimately led me to choose this path.

I trusted SF Film School because it focuses on beginners and has overwhelmingly strong results that clearly demonstrate its quality. It gave me the feeling that this was the place where I could develop the ability to bring the world inside my imagination into reality.

Since I am still a complete beginner, I initially applied for counseling without much confidence, simply thinking that I should at least give it a try. Deep down, I worried that I might not be accepted, so I felt a great sense of relief after being admitted.

Now, I know that everything depends on how much effort I put in from this point forward, and because of that, I will never give up and will always do my very best. I will not hesitate to strengthen my weak points through additional practice and self-study, and I will fully dedicate myself to participating actively throughout the entire educational process.

“I have decided to take on the major challenge of 3D.”

What I currently need most is 3D modeling. That is why I wanted to learn Autodesk Maya, and through the consultation process, I realized that by learning Maya, I would be able to work on modeling and animation to a certain extent. It was not that I had no interest in video production either. I had always thought it would be interesting to bring my own characters to life through video, which became another reason I decided to start learning.

I wanted to study Maya modeling in order to expand my professional skills, so I looked into several Maya academies. However, I was hesitant to enroll because neither the portfolio quality nor the consultations felt convincing enough. Around that time, a colleague shared the SF Film School website with me.

After looking through the portfolio section and seeing the students’ work, I felt that the quality was at a level that would be difficult to find even in Korea, which led me to visit the academy in person. During the consultation, I could tell that the counselor genuinely took both my concerns and my colleague’s concerns seriously. What especially built my trust was their honest comment that it would be okay even if I chose a different academy. That made me realize they were not simply trying to recruit students, but were sincerely thinking about what would be best for us.

Through this experience, I decided to take on the major challenge of 3D. I look forward to learning and growing through this opportunity.

“I will devote myself to creation with passionate dedication.”

I chose this path because I was fascinated by the diverse forms of expression that can be created within virtual spaces and wanted to turn that passion into a profession. Through various experiences, I have developed practical skills in the fields of 3DCG and the metaverse, and I have also improved my communication abilities through interpretation experiences in many different situations. Based on these experiences, I hope to continue growing even further in the future.

The reason I discovered SF Film School was through recommendations from acquaintances and the inspiration I received after watching students’ work on YouTube. Seeing those projects made me think that I also wanted to create work of that level and quality myself.

I was very satisfied with how kind and supportive the academy was, especially because they explained in detail why each learning method was important, which helped me quickly understand and accept the process. While applying to SF Film School, I felt both excitement about improving my weaknesses and a strong determination to learn with even greater passion.

Without losing the mindset I had when I first started, I will continue dedicating myself to creation with passionate enthusiasm and commitment.

“Let’s step into a new place. Let’s challenge ourselves.”

I have always enjoyed watching animation and movies, and because of that, I had always wanted to learn the techniques behind them. A few months ago, while watching a movie by chance, I suddenly found myself wondering, “How do they create work like this?” and I felt a strong desire to learn it myself. From that moment, I began searching for academies in Busan, and SF Film School seemed to be the most suitable and professional place, which led me to book a consultation.

After the consultation, I felt that I understood the academy in much greater detail, and it also helped build more trust and confidence in the school. When I was accepted into SF Film School, I felt truly happy and kept thinking, “Let’s step into a new place. Let’s challenge ourselves.”

Even now, I still feel nervous and worried about whether I will do well or struggle to keep up, but more than anything else, I simply want to work as hard as I can. Since this is a field I have always wanted to learn, I will do my absolute best with dedication and effort. I hope to be guided well throughout this journey.

“I want to create visual content that can bring warmth and comfort to people.”

Personally, I loved drawing characters when I was young, and I always dreamed of seeing those characters move with motion and life. I believed that I would truly enjoy the long process of bringing soul and personality into them.

Since I first discovered SF Film School through its website, the student interviews and various awards immediately caught my attention. What especially influenced me, however, were the interviews with overseas industry professionals. Hearing them speak highly of the quality of the portfolios and consistently mention the high standard of the work made me want to receive a proper consultation and learn more about the academy.

After the consultation, I felt that I shared similar values with the instructor. The teacher emphasized the importance of students’ effort, which is something I strongly agree with as well. I also appreciated how kindly everything was explained. Whenever I asked questions, they thoughtfully considered my concerns together with me and continued giving sincere answers, which left a strong impression on me.

I felt that the academy had many advantages, such as being close to home, producing excellent visual content using robots and machinery, and allowing students to continue using the classroom environment for practice. After being accepted, the thoughts that came to my mind were: “How can I best express the individuality I already have?” “How can I fully understand and absorb the techniques taught by the academy?” and “How can I manage my time effectively to produce high-quality work in a short period of time?”

My greatest ambition, in a broad sense, is to create visual content that gives warmth and comfort to people. More specifically, I hope to one day upload my work to YouTube and achieve one million views.

Over the next year, I expect to learn everything from the fundamentals of motion to the process of creating completed works, and I believe it will become a journey where we can laugh, struggle, and grow together.

“I want to become one small gear in the process of creating works that allow people to feel emotional change.”

I first learned about CG while attending university. I originally started with drawing, and while many of my classmates were skeptical about CG and did not want to learn it, I was able to transition into it without much resistance. To me, both drawing and CG were simply tools for communicating with other people.

I want to become one small gear in the process of creating works that allow audiences to feel emotional change through visual storytelling.

As I continued learning CG, I constantly felt that there were areas where I was lacking, which led me to search for a place where I could fill those gaps. Since I have not officially attended yet, I cannot fully describe my first impression. However, after watching the graduates’ showreels, I was able to recognize the high level that students here can achieve, and that gave me a strong sense of trust.

I chose this place because I truly believe it will help me grow once again. Through this opportunity, I will continue improving myself and work hard to become a better 3D artist.

“I want to continue working hard for my growth while imagining the best version of my future self.”

Since high school, I have been fascinated by science fiction films and watched many Marvel movies, which naturally led me to become curious about the field of CG. When I first encountered this field last year, however, I thought it was unrealistic because learning it required a great deal of money and I was not even majoring in a related subject. Because of those concerns, I ended up giving up on the idea at the time.

But now that this opportunity has come back to me once again, I truly want to seize it this time.

When I first discovered this academy, I felt that it was a place with real expertise in the field I wanted to pursue. After the consultation, the sincerity of the instructor’s words gave me confidence that if I completed the curriculum, I would be able to use the tools professionally and create creative works of my own.

Last year, after leaving my previous job at the end of my contract, I spent a lot of time thinking deeply about the direction of my life, and during that process, I became interested in the CG field. As someone who loves science fiction films, this interest went beyond simple curiosity and became something genuinely exciting to me. However, due to opposition from my family, the dream that had briefly grown in my heart was set aside.

Still, there must be a reason why, one year later, I have once again become interested in this path. Even now, when I imagine myself working in the CG industry, my heart still races with excitement.

This time, I do not want to give up before even trying. I believe that my life is something I must build for myself, and while imagining a future version of myself that I can be proud of, I want to continue striving steadily for growth and improvement.

“I am willing to study consistently through both the short and long journey ahead.”

While watching Pixar Animation Studios animations, I became interested in the field of visual graphics after seeing videos that showed how character designs are created using 3D technology. In particular, I was deeply impressed by the process of designing the character Sullivan from Monsters, Inc., especially the way each strand of fur was carefully created and animated.

More recently, after seeing the works of Kim Onyu, I began to sincerely feel that I wanted to learn visual graphics professionally.

I first learned about SF Film School through a recommendation from my professor. After looking through the curriculum and class atmosphere on the website, I personally liked the environment that encouraged independent learning. I also felt that studying alongside students with similar career goals and skill levels would become a strong source of motivation for one another.

I am mainly interested in abstract artwork and hope to create projects that pursue the beauty of visually constructing realistic environments. Although I am still a beginner and have many things to learn, I am fully willing to continue studying consistently throughout both the short and long journey ahead.

“I will continue striving to become a more positive and passionate person.”

After completing my third year of university, I realized before beginning my senior graduation project that I did not want to continue forward without a clear direction. Rather than simply aiming to graduate, I wanted to establish a definite career path and develop real professional skills. I wanted to create work that was not only meaningful but could also serve as a strong portfolio piece.

During that process, I discovered SF Film School and became convinced that it was a place where I could efficiently build professional skills even within the relatively short period of one year.

While attending university classes, I realized that although individual effort is extremely important in this field, seeing the work of other students during class also gave me a great deal of motivation and inspiration. That is one of the reasons I wanted to study at SF Film School, where I could learn alongside students with similar goals under the detailed guidance of a homeroom instructor.

I believe that what I learn at SF Film School will become an important turning point in both my career and personal growth. Through the skills and knowledge I gain here, I plan to continue developing myself into a capable generalist and make sure that what I learn can be practically applied even after graduation.

I truly love the Kirby character from Nintendo. Kirby has the ability to absorb the powers of others and freely make them his own, while also maintaining a bright and cheerful personality. What I admire most about Kirby is the positive and passionate attitude shown even in difficult situations through the use of those abilities.

I believe that this side of Kirby resembles me in many ways, and I will continue learning, improving, and striving to become a more positive and passionate person in the future. If you notice areas where I am lacking, I would sincerely appreciate honest feedback, and I will continue growing through consistent guidance and self-improvement.

“I will continue learning diligently with a humble attitude.”

I once had the opportunity to briefly learn Cinema 4D through one of my major courses, and I became fascinated by it. Because of that interest, I even attended visual design classes outside of my main coursework.

When producing live-action films, creators inevitably encounter many limitations such as budget constraints and social or practical restrictions. However, in the world of CG, I felt there were endless possibilities because, as long as I had the skills, I could express anything I imagined without those realistic limitations.

With the single goal of creating animation, I have continued moving forward until now. I do not know whether every step I took before this was the right one, but I am truly grateful that SF Film School has given me another opportunity to learn. I want to approach this opportunity sincerely, as if it were the most important chance in my life.

I want to create animations in my own unique style—works that even large studios such as Pixar Animation Studios or The Walt Disney Company could not replicate. In order to achieve goals like these, I hope to learn not only the technical skills I need, but also the mindset and attitude required through SF Film School.

I will continue learning diligently with humility and dedication.

“I am someone who loves and enjoys watching, creating, and learning about visual content.”

The first time I became curious about graphics in films was when I watched Avatar. I was very young at the time, so my dream was still vague—I only thought that I wanted to work in a field related to movies, without imagining such a specific career path.

After entering university and taking classes related to video production, I became even more certain that I wanted to pursue a career connected to visual media. Although I was interested in 3D, I hesitated because I had heard that the industry has poor work-life balance and requires highly technical skills. Because of that, I initially focused only on studying 2D motion graphics. However, over time, I realized that I would probably be happier working in the 3D industry, which ultimately led me to begin pursuing it seriously.

When I decided to prepare for a career in 3D, I was told that unlike 2D, attending an academy would be much more efficient than studying entirely on my own. At the same time, I also heard that it was important to choose a place with a proper curriculum, because otherwise the time and money invested would not lead to meaningful results.

While researching different academies online, I frequently came across mentions of SF Film School. After seeing the students’ portfolio work and award-winning projects from competitions such as the Rookie Awards, I was impressed by the high quality and creativity of the work. I felt that learning in an environment like this could help me grow tremendously, which is why I decided to visit.

My first consultation experience was very positive. The academy felt systematic and seemed to have extensive information and experience regarding overseas employment opportunities, which made me feel that I could trust the guidance I was receiving. Having previously gone through the art entrance exam process, I personally believe that the size of an academy and the quality of its industry information are extremely important. In that sense, SF Film School felt like a place with strong resources and credibility.

Although my knowledge and skills in 3D are still at an amateur level, I am someone who genuinely loves and enjoys watching, creating, and learning about visual content. I tend to feel even greater joy when learning something related to a field I am passionate about, and I always approach my work with dedication and enthusiasm. I look forward to learning and growing here.

“I will give it my all with passion and dedication.”

Watching works such as Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and Marvel Studios productions sparked my interest and curiosity in the field of CG. Wanting to learn more, I began searching through YouTube without really knowing where to start. While watching a video by the YouTuber CGman titled “You Want to Learn CG but Don’t Know Where to Start?”, I realized that the content perfectly reflected the questions I was personally struggling with at the time. That experience eventually led me to start searching for academies.

After deciding that I wanted to attend a visual design academy, I compared several options, and SF Film School stood out the most because of the outstanding quality of its students’ work and award achievements. Those results left a strong impression on me, which became one of the main reasons I chose this academy.

I also became even more interested after seeing realistic photos and videos of the academy’s facilities. It felt like an environment that was fully equipped for serious learning and growth.

Since this is the first time I have personally explored and chosen to study a completely new field outside of my original major, I currently feel both nervousness and excitement. Because this is an opportunity I genuinely wanted for myself, I am approaching it with the mindset of constantly challenging myself and continuing to learn new things.

I have a determined personality, and once I set a goal, I tend to pursue it with persistence and dedication. I will give this opportunity everything I have with passion and commitment.

“I will put forth my passion and effort to achieve great results.”

The reason I decided to challenge myself in the field of 3D is because I became convinced that I could express my creative ideas in a much richer and more vivid way through 3D. While searching for information related to the 3D industry, I came across student portfolios on YouTube. The quality of the work was extremely impressive, and seeing those projects made me think, “I want to create something like this as well,” which ultimately led me to apply to SF Film School.

Since I am not originally from a related major, I spent a lot of time 고민ing about which 3D tools would suit me best. During the first and second interviews, however, I was able to organize my thoughts and better understand both the strengths I already possess and the concerns I had about my future direction. That experience was very meaningful to me.

When I was accepted, I felt as though I had finally taken my first step into the world of 3D. At the same time, I reminded myself that I should not become satisfied with simply being accepted. Instead, I realized that I needed to continue working hard until I could create a truly strong portfolio.

I am also aware that, because I am older than some of the other students, I may need to work even harder than they do. Although my start may seem somewhat late, I will make up for it with even greater passion, dedication, and effort in order to achieve meaningful results.

“As someone who has been accepted, I will approach my education responsibly, sincerely, and with my absolute best effort.”

As someone who genuinely enjoys playing games, I have experienced a wide variety of titles and became fascinated by the unique and immersive virtual worlds created through each game’s distinct setting and storytelling. Through trailers and cinematic videos produced from those worlds, I naturally developed a strong interest in the field of visual graphics.

When I saw the work of SF Film School graduates online, I was impressed by the exceptionally high quality of their projects. After exploring the academy’s website, I was also deeply impressed by its structured curriculum and outstanding instructors. Based on these factors, I came to believe that SF Film School would be the right place for someone like me who dreams of becoming a 3D modeler.

Although I originally dreamed of entering the film industry, my perspective has changed recently. Rather than limiting myself to only one direction, I want to build deeper knowledge and technical skills in visual graphics through the academy’s curriculum, then carefully explore which field best suits me before making a final career decision.

Now that I have been accepted, I plan to approach every part of the educational process with responsibility, sincerity, and my fullest effort.

“If I create visual content myself, I want to make work like the projects created at SF Film School.”

At school, I learned illustration and Adobe Photoshop, and through that experience, I discovered that I genuinely enjoyed working with digital programs. Because of that interest, I began wanting to go beyond flat design and learn programs that could create more three-dimensional and immersive work, such as 3D graphics.

Since I have always been interested in animation and games like League of Legends, I naturally started thinking about creating my own 3D animations connected to the things I enjoy. From that point on, I began seriously researching the field of visual graphics for myself.

Last winter, I happened to come across an SF Film School student portfolio video on YouTube Shorts. The title was something like “An Animation That Won a Global Competition,” and I was honestly shocked by the quality of the work. After that, I started looking more deeply into SF Film School and learned about programs such as Autodesk Maya. Over the following year, I spent a great deal of time thinking seriously about my future career path.

Although I had always loved animation and dreamed of learning how to create visual content myself, I hesitated because it was a completely unfamiliar field to me, and I was afraid of taking the first step. However, even after that, I kept thinking about wanting to learn and create these kinds of projects. Eventually, I realized that if I were to make visual content myself, I wanted it to look like the work created by SF Film School students.

My overall goal is to learn programs such as Maya and ZBrush, build a strong portfolio, and eventually work at an animation or game company.

“Even if I may not be good at something at first, I believe in challenging myself and trying anyway.”

I first learned about the field of visual graphics after it was recommended to me by an entrance exam academy. As I later entered university and studied in this field, I became increasingly curious and interested while learning various processes related to it.

Among the places that teach 3D, SF Film School appeared to have the highest level of skill and professionalism. I had also previously seen several works from the school through university special lectures and social media, which became another reason I chose SF Film School. Overall, I was left with a strong impression of how impressive everything was.

Before being accepted, I kept wondering, “Will I really make it?” and worried that unexpected circumstances might prevent me from getting in, so I simply felt very happy and relieved after being accepted.

While attending SF Film School, my first goal is to improve my modeling skills and eventually find employment within Korea. After gaining enough experience and skill, if I have the opportunity to expand overseas, I would also like to pursue an international career.

More than anything, I have the mindset of trying things even if I may not be good at them at first. I believe that if you only think about doing something without actually trying, then you have not even taken the first step. Because of that, even when situations become difficult or discouraging, I try to treat every experience as something meaningful to learn from. I always aim to challenge myself, think positively, and maintain a bright and optimistic mindset.

“I will not give up, and I will work hard until these skills truly become my own.”

At first, I vaguely wanted to find a job in video editing. However, over time, I began to feel that nowadays almost anyone can learn basic video editing relatively easily. Because of that, I started thinking that if I could not only edit videos but also develop specialized visual skills, it would help me both when finding a job and after entering the industry.

As I wondered what kind of visual technology I should pursue, I remembered how impressed I had been during college by the effects used in music videos. Back then, I often thought, “I want to create videos like that someday.” That memory eventually led me toward the 3D field, and while researching it, I discovered Autodesk Maya.

I initially started academy consultations simply thinking, “Let’s try learning Maya.” But the more consultations I attended, the more I realized that this was actually the exact kind of visual technology I had always wanted to create. As a result, my interest grew even stronger.

After the consultation, I had a very strong feeling that this was the academy I truly wanted to attend. Even on my way home, I kept thinking that if I learned somewhere other than SF Film School, I would probably regret it. I felt that if I was going to invest my time into learning, then I should learn at the place I genuinely wanted to be, so that I could study without regrets and fully dedicate myself.

I was very happy to be accepted into the academy I truly wanted to attend, and it made me determined to work even harder. Since I will begin classes in January, I have promised myself that I will not give up just because things become difficult. Instead, I will continue learning with persistence until these skills completely become my own, and I will create a high-quality portfolio to achieve employment in the industry.

“I will do my very best so that I have no regrets.”

While thinking seriously about my future career path, I wanted to choose a profession that could connect with my major in sculpture because I felt that doing so would allow me to work with greater passion and enjoyment. During that process, I discovered the field of VFX.

After deciding that this was the field I wanted to pursue, I found SF Film School, and it seemed like a place where I could gain experiences similar to real industry work. SF Film School gave me a strong sense of professionalism. I think that feeling came from a combination of many factors, such as the curriculum, learning environment, and the achievements of its students.

I developed confidence that I would be able to learn skills that could be applied directly in professional work, and the phrase about “the process of creating a complete project” became the deciding factor that made me choose SF Film School.

Because this is a completely new field for me, I spent a lot of time worrying about whether I would truly be able to do well. However, I ultimately realized that this is the kind of work I can genuinely enjoy, and because of that, I believe I will be able to continue doing it with passion and dedication.

Now that I have been accepted into SF Film School, I want to use what I learn here to create the kinds of projects I have always wanted to make. I will do my very best so that I have no regrets.

“I want to create a portfolio that reflects my own style and storytelling.”

I first became interested in the field of visual graphics after watching my private tutor work on projects. From that moment on, I naturally became curious about related creative work, and later, while watching creations uploaded by others on YouTube, I began to think, “I want to try making something like this myself.”

One of the most impressive works I have ever seen was Frozen II. Every scene was expressed with such natural movement and incredible attention to detail that the characters truly felt alive while I was watching. I still remember being deeply amazed by how realistic and emotionally engaging it felt.

As my interest in 3D animation continued to grow, I searched for more information related to the field and eventually discovered SF Film School. When applying, I felt both excitement and anticipation about challenging myself in a completely new field, while also feeling worried about whether I would be able to do well.

When I received the acceptance notice, I was happy because it meant I had been given the opportunity to truly learn and grow in this field. At the same time, I also felt a strong sense of responsibility to approach the entire process sincerely and seriously.

While researching universities and different majors, I first learned about the field of graphics. After entering university, I was able to explore it in greater depth, and through that process, I realized that the 3D field suited my interests and abilities much more than I had expected.

While searching for academies that teach Autodesk Maya, I received a recommendation from an acquaintance. After visiting the SF Film School website and seeing the wide variety of student projects, I became interested and decided to apply for a consultation.

Although I chose to join the academy a little later than others, I am determined to work even harder because of that. I have often lacked confidence when trying to accomplish things entirely on my own, and because I am not always very organized, I sometimes struggle with taking action. However, when I have good guidance and support beside me, I am the kind of person who works sincerely and completes the tasks given to me with dedication.

Since I will need to balance both university studies and academy classes at the same time, there may be moments when academic responsibilities affect my schedule. Still, because I made the decision to pursue both together, I intend to work even harder and approach every responsibility with commitment and determination.

Even if I sometimes hesitate or struggle along the way, I would be truly grateful for guidance, encouragement, and constructive feedback that can help me continue improving and create even better work in the future.

For a long time, I had wanted to learn how to create work using realistic live-action style visuals. While studying Cinema 4D, I became curious about the field that creates even more realistic visual content, which eventually led me to discover the field of visual graphics.

As I searched for a place where I could study CG more professionally, I came across SF Film School. I found it easy to understand because they clearly explained the overall work and structure of the CG industry. I also felt that they would genuinely support me throughout the six-month program because they took the time to ask thoughtful and detailed questions about me personally.

When applying, I definitely felt anxiety about the uncertainty of my future. However, after being accepted, I realized that the right thing to do was to fully commit myself until the end before making any judgments. I hope these six months become a period where I can pour all of my passion into learning and truly discover how far I am capable of growing.

Right now, I still think of myself as someone who lacks confidence and knows very little about CG. Through this education, I hope to develop even greater passion and become someone who genuinely enjoys learning and creating in the CG field.

Although I tend to worry a lot, I also have a strong desire to learn and improve. Since I am preparing for a future career that could shape and support my life, I naturally have many concerns and responsibilities on my mind. “I want to prove myself through my work.”

Because I prepared for art school admissions in the United States, I already had some familiarity with graphics. However, I did not truly begin learning about the field of visual graphics in depth until I entered university. At school, I studied various elements required for game production, such as planning, coding, and design. Through 3D modeling classes in particular, I became much more interested in the field and realized how much enjoyment 3D modeling gives me.

When I personally researched different 3D modeling academies, most of them seemed to freely accept students who simply wanted to learn the software. In contrast, what attracted me most about SF Film School was the fact that students are organized into classes based on career direction through first and second interviews. That system felt much more specialized and meaningful to me.

After visiting the academy myself and looking around the facilities, SF Film School genuinely felt like a major opportunity in my life. At other academies, consultations mostly focused on explaining the curriculum, tuition, and student portfolios. However, during my conversation here, even within a short amount of time, I received advice about areas I had never considered before and guidance on what direction might suit me best.

After that conversation, I strongly felt that the instructors at SF Film School would sincerely care about educating their students. Through both the consultation and my visit to the academy, I came to believe that this school could become a very important opportunity for me.

I truly want to become skilled at 3D modeling, and I am confident that I can work intensely and passionately toward that goal. I am not the type of person who puts effort into things I am not interested in, but when I become interested in something, I am the kind of student who can spend an entire day fully focused on improving.

Because of that, I believe the environment and instructors at this academy would suit me extremely well. If I am given the opportunity to study here, I want to create work at the same level as the student projects I saw on YouTube, so that one day other people can look at my work, recognize my abilities, and allow me to prove myself through what I create.

“I want to create anything I imagine without being limited by my current level of skill.”

I originally majored in an art-related field, and because I had always loved animation and films, I decided to explore this path after receiving a recommendation from a friend. Later, while studying abroad, I attended school in a related field as well.

At first, everything felt difficult, and I struggled even with memorizing the program shortcuts and controls. To be honest, the software still feels challenging at times. However, whenever I look at a completed model, I feel both pride and a sense of wanting to improve further, and those feelings made me realize that I truly want to continue down this path.

After failing to find employment in Canada, I felt lost about what I should do back in Korea. My skills still felt insufficient, there were few job opportunities, and while worrying about my future, I came across the Rookie Awards on Instagram and learned about SF Film School.

Sometimes I run into problems that I cannot solve on my own. Even when I watch tutorials on YouTube and find solutions, I often do not fully understand why those methods work, which leaves me feeling frustrated. SF Film School felt like a place that could help me overcome that frustration and build a deeper understanding of the work itself.

I also feel that my current skill level is still far behind where I want it to be, so I believe that learning here would make it much easier for me to create the characters and people I truly want to make.

The very first impression I had when coming here was amazement. There were many figures and models of devices from films on display, and I thought they would be incredibly inspiring references for practicing detailed modeling work.

I honestly wondered whether anyone would even want to teach someone like me, who still lacks skills and experience. That is why being accepted made me incredibly happy, because it felt like being given one final opportunity.

At this academy, I want to study as hard as I can so that I no longer feel limited by my current abilities and can freely create anything I imagine. While building my portfolio, I also hope to eventually work overseas. Even if the chances may feel impossibly small at times, I will not give up and will continue doing my best.

I have watched the portfolio videos uploaded on YouTube many times, and I feel excited about the possibility of creating work with that level of quality myself. At SF Film School, I want to build a strong foundation and make technical skills truly my own under the guidance of the instructors. My goal is to create a high-quality portfolio that reflects my own style and eventually work in the VFX industry.

Whenever I learn something new, I always approach it with sincerity and dedication. "I want to give my absolute best for my future and my dreams."

I have loved animation since I was young, which led me to prepare for art entrance exams during high school. I was accepted into a film and animation program, but I felt that the program was mainly focused on 2D work, and I realized it was not the direction I truly wanted. I have always wanted to work with 3D animation.

While searching online for rigging and modeling schools to prepare for employment opportunities in Canada, I came across SF Film School. At first, I chose it because I thought it would be helpful since it also has a campus in Vancouver, which is where I ultimately hope to work. Hearing that many students had successfully found jobs overseas also gave me confidence in my decision.

Since elementary school, my dream has been to contribute to creating animation and films. However, what I learned after entering university turned out to be quite different from what I truly wanted to pursue. After taking a longer path and spending a lot of time thinking about my future, I finally found what I genuinely want to do.

I no longer feel like I have unlimited time ahead of me, so I want to treat this as my final opportunity and dedicate myself fully to studying and improving. I chose to major in a film-related field at university, and during my four years of study, I was exposed to many science fiction films and a wide range of CG projects, which allowed me to dream even bigger about my future.

While researching different CG academies, I came across SF Film School through online research and recommendations from friends, and I felt it offered the program that suited me best. One of the reasons I chose it was its long history of 24 years, which made me feel that it could help me move closer to my goals more effectively compared to other schools. Through in-depth consultations, I learned more about the school’s curriculum, values, and various programs and equipment. I felt that if I became a student there, I would be motivated to work harder and achieve strong results through dedication and persistence.

At first, I applied with both excitement and nervousness because I felt I was taking another important step toward my future goals, and I knew the small-class environment meant a long-term commitment to learning. However, because I enjoy meeting different people and would have the opportunity to learn the programs I have always wanted to study, I also felt a great sense of excitement about being accepted.

I enjoy learning from my weaknesses and improving areas where I still have room to grow. I want to meet many different people, share thoughts and experiences while working toward future goals, and continue learning and improving together through effort and growth.

"I will be a student who never gives up, even when I have shortcomings."

was first introduced to the field of visual graphics through my university classes, and I especially found Maya both challenging and enjoyable. At first, it felt difficult, but as I became more familiar with the software and gradually completed my projects, I began to experience both interest and a sense of accomplishment.

After graduation, I tried to continue learning on my own, but I encountered many limitations. That experience became an important reason why I decided to pursue this field more seriously.

When I received counseling at SF Film School, I felt that its level of professionalism stood out compared to other academies. Hearing realistic insights that I had not previously known, along with the curriculum designed around those realities, made me feel that this school had its own unique strengths. I chose this school because I felt that I would be able to make significant progress here and move closer toward employment opportunities.

When I heard the news that I had been accepted, I remember feeling a mixture of excitement, nervousness, and the feeling that this was the beginning of something important. Since I made a major decision in applying, I will give it my all. Even if I have shortcomings, I will continue moving forward and become a student who never gives up.

"I want to create the 3D animation I have always admired and succeed in finding a job overseas."

Growing up watching Disney and Pixar animations, I naturally developed an interest in 3D animation. Through that interest, I learned that Maya was one of the key programs used in the field. However, after graduating from high school, I kept putting off learning it because I felt that it might already be too late to start something completely new.

Recently, while struggling with decisions about my future career path, I was reminded of the interests I had when I was younger. That experience eventually led me to develop a goal of becoming a 3D animator and ultimately pursuing employment opportunities overseas.

As I searched for academies where I could learn 3D animation in order to achieve that goal, I discovered SF Film School through a search online. After viewing the student portfolios on the school’s website, I felt that I would be able to learn the kind of 3D animation I had always wanted to create, which led me to decide to apply. I also felt a strong sense of trust in the school because of its focus on overseas employment opportunities.

Over the past few years, including my time at university, I spent a great deal of time thinking about my future and career path. I was disappointed to realize that the major I once believed would suit me well ultimately did not match my interests and goals. I spent nearly two years feeling uncertain and searching for what I truly wanted to do and what I wanted to learn professionally.

Personally, I believe that one of the most important factors when choosing a career path is genuine interest. For me, the greatest interest has always been the 3D animation that I have loved since childhood. One of my strengths is that I complete the responsibilities given to me with sincerity and dedication. By learning Maya from skilled instructors here, I hope that one day I can create the kind of 3D animation I have always admired and ultimately achieve my dream of working overseas.

"For the first time, planning my future career path felt exciting and something I truly looked forward to."

I have always approached learning with enthusiasm and a positive attitude. Up until now, I had lived without any particular hobbies or strong interests and simply thought that because I had studied art, I should naturally pursue a design major. However, earlier this year, I began seriously thinking about what I truly wanted to do and spent time searching for an answer. While reflecting on the moments when I felt the most enjoyment, I finally discovered a field that I genuinely wanted to pursue for the first time.

After that realization, planning my future career path for the first time became exciting and something I truly looked forward to.

While looking through various student projects in the VFX field, the work created by SF Film School stood out to me the most and immediately caught my attention, which made me want to learn more about the school. During the interview process, I personally felt a clear difference compared to other academies. Many places seemed focused on quickly attracting students and moving directly toward enrollment, but SF Film School instead focused on discussing my future goals and the direction I wanted to pursue without pressuring me into making a decision. That experience gave me a much stronger sense of trust and confidence.

It was an interview that made me feel certain I could genuinely trust and learn from the school.

I felt excited at the thought of being accepted and having the opportunity to study this field in a professional environment. I will continue with the same mindset I had when I first applied and remain dedicated throughout the program until graduation. Whenever there is something I do not fully understand, I will not hesitate to ask questions and will actively participate in class with sincerity and effort.

"I became confident that this would be the place where I could grow my abilities the most."

I have consistently been interested in the field of video and visual media, and because I wanted to become someone who contributes to one part of the production process, I chose to major in a field related to media and film at university. Until then, visual graphics had always seemed fascinating to me, but also distant and difficult to approach. I believed that creating work in that field with my own hands was something beyond my abilities.

However, about six months ago, I watched the music video for ** by aespa. Seeing the way live-action footage and 3D art blended together to create a grand and fantasy-like atmosphere made me realize that this was exactly the type of visual work I had always wanted to create. At that moment, I became determined to create work like that myself one day.

I researched and compared not only this school but also many other VFX academies. However, I personally felt that many of the others lacked a sense of depth and seriousness. I understand that personal effort is the most important factor in growth, but I felt that some places would not be able to fully support that effort or provide a strong sense of responsibility toward their students.

Then I came across SF Film School’s website, and I was immediately overwhelmed—in a positive way—by the amount of information and resources available. Looking through the many student reviews and achievements, I strongly felt that this was not simply an academy, but a place that genuinely cared about each student and worked hard to help them reach their full potential. Because of that, I became confident that SF Film School would be the place where I could grow my abilities the most.

When I first applied, my mindset was simply, “Let me try and see where this takes me.” However, after going through the first and second interviews and eventually becoming a final accepted student, I now feel a much stronger sense of responsibility and determination. Moving forward, I want to give my best in every class, continue working hard until the end, and do everything I can to achieve the best possible results.

"I felt that the school respects each student's individuality and unique style."

I have loved games and movies since I was young because I was deeply moved by the stories, characters, and environments within them. Because of that passion, I decided to pursue art and entered an art-related field of study.

When I was in high school, I became interested in the unique atmosphere and simplicity often found in Japanese art and culture, which led me to begin preparing for Japanese art school entrance exams later than most people. Since I had limited time, I had to learn Japanese while also preparing for art examinations at the same time. Looking back, I think that period was one of the times in my life when I worked harder than ever before in order to achieve everything within a short amount of time.

However, once I entered university, I realized that the experience was more relaxed than I had expected, and I was not able to learn many of the technical skills I had hoped for. Since I am still only in my first year of university, I am not yet completely sure whether I am more interested in games or in film and visual media. However, I felt that I could not properly decide on my future path without first experiencing and learning 3D work. Rather than spending more time worrying, I thought it would be better to put effort into learning first.

That is why I decided to apply to SF Film School. I felt that the curriculum and facilities were well organized and structured, and after looking at the portfolios, I felt that the school was not simply teaching technical skills but also respected each student’s individuality and artistic style. The facilities also seemed to provide everything needed to fully focus on learning, which became another reason for my decision.

Since I have been given this opportunity, I want to work even harder and learn as much as I can. Since I have never experienced 3D modeling before, I am a little worried that I may fall behind. I would truly appreciate patient and thoughtful guidance as I continue learning.

"I will work hard, learn as much as I can, and create great animations."

I have always loved the fantasy genre, but while working with live-action film, I felt there were many limitations when trying to bring imaginative ideas to life. In contrast, I became fascinated by 3D animation because it offers the freedom to create almost anything without those limitations. I found that the process of directing and creating animation itself felt more enjoyable and exciting to me.

Because of that, I wanted to study this field in greater depth. While researching different academies, I discovered SF Film School.

One of the most important factors for me when choosing a school was the quality of the portfolios. I looked through the student projects created at SF Film School, and compared to other academies, I felt the quality was noticeably stronger, which became a major reason for my decision. I also liked the fact that the school selects a small number of students who fit the program well, because I believed that would allow for more personalized guidance and closer learning opportunities with instructors.

When I applied to the school, I experienced a feeling that I had not felt in a long time—the excitement and nervous anticipation that comes when beginning something I truly enjoy and want to learn. I felt my passion and motivation return strongly.

And when I received the acceptance news, that excitement did not fade at all. Instead, it felt even stronger than before.

From now on, I will continue learning with dedication at SF Film School and work hard to create animations that I can be proud of.

"I want to work hard and create opportunities for myself through challenges."

I studied abroad during middle school and later attended university in Korea, but I still do not feel completely accustomed to life here yet. However, just as I chose to study abroad because I wanted to experience different perspectives and learn new things, I also want to continue gaining diverse knowledge and experiences in Korea. Because of that mindset, I believe I can approach this educational program with enthusiasm and participate more actively than anyone else.

I feel that being given the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience through this program could become an important turning point in my life.

I chose SF Film School because it felt more like a school than a typical academy. Since I have experienced studying abroad, I felt that SF Film School would give me the opportunity to experience a different educational environment and learning process in Korea, which made it especially appealing to me.

At the time of applying, I felt honored to have the opportunity to take classes that I had wanted for a long time. Although I have not yet started the program, I hope that after going through the interview process and joining the January course, I will be able to grow and improve significantly.

Moving forward, if I am given challenges or assignments, I want to approach every opportunity with effort and determination. I will continue doing my best to challenge myself and work hard to achieve greater growth and meaningful results.

"I want to establish myself as a content creator with a creative vision."

I have had a strong interest in animation and films since I was young. In particular, I came to realize how important visual elements are in the animation production process, which naturally led me toward the field of visual graphics. While majoring in Computer Science at university, I gained a deeper understanding of the possibilities and applications of graphic technologies. I was especially drawn to the fact that this field allows both creativity and technical skills to be expressed at the same time, which ultimately led me to pursue it.

I believe this field is an ideal choice for me because it constantly presents new challenges while satisfying my passion and curiosity. I want to grow into a visual graphics professional and stand out within the animation and film industries. In the long term, my goal is to work at a global company such as Disney and create meaningful works that can inspire and move people. I also want to contribute to developing new methods of content creation through the combination of technology and art. Furthermore, I hope that one day I can become a mentor who inspires future generations and establish myself as a content creator with a creative vision.

My strong interest in 3D modeling led me to discover SF Film School. I was particularly impressed by the school’s various achievements and its structured educational system, which naturally encouraged me to apply. Compared to other academies, I found it especially appealing that the school not only focuses on classes but also provides personalized support for each student’s growth and development.

At the time of applying, I felt both excitement and anticipation. I had some doubts about whether I would be accepted, but my desire to seize the opportunity was even stronger. When I heard the news of my acceptance, I felt an indescribable sense of pride and gratitude. Now, I am filled with excitement for this new beginning and a strong determination to move forward toward my goals.

Employment is my ultimate objective, and I especially hope to join a company like Pearl Abyss and turn my dreams into reality. I will continue learning and growing through SF Film School and work hard until the very end so that I can confidently achieve my goal of joining the company I aspire to work for.

"My goal is to grow by developing the skills needed in the professional industry."

Since my mother works in the design field, I had always thought about pursuing design from a young age. Compared to 2D animation, I was more drawn to 3D animation because of its realistic expression and visual depth. I also became increasingly interested after seeing how 3D elements were used in idol music videos and various artworks.

While searching online for Maya and 3D-related academies, I discovered SF Film School. I also discussed different options with my parents because I wanted to find a place that felt more structured and professional. After looking through the school’s website, I was impressed by its small class sizes and detailed curriculum, which ultimately became the reasons why I chose it.

During the consultation, I received a detailed explanation of the curriculum, and it made me realize how much there still was for me to learn about 3D software and production processes. Looking at the work created by students at SF Film School also made me think, “I want to create work like that myself someday.”

Because I had never properly worked with 3D programs before, I had many concerns and worries. However, hearing that the classes begin from the fundamentals and are taught step by step in small groups with other beginners made me feel that I should focus on working hard rather than feeling intimidated.

Since I have decided to seriously pursue this path, I made a commitment to myself that I will not give up and will continue working hard until I complete the curriculum and achieve my goal of employment.

Although I have been interested in this field for a long time, this is my first time learning it in a serious and structured way, so I feel both excited and nervous. My goal is to steadily build a strong foundation, create projects using the skills I learn, and continue growing by developing the abilities needed in a professional environment.

I will do my best in every class and dedicate myself fully to learning.

"My personal value is: 'Even if I move slowly, I want to move with certainty.'"

While I was on a working holiday in Australia, I met someone who was working in the VFX industry. Listening to the way they spoke with pride and passion about their work naturally sparked my interest in the field, which led me to research it further on my own.

I had always wanted to work in the film and media industry, but I realized that roles requiring leadership and directing entire teams did not align with my personality or interests. As I explored different career paths, I felt that the graphics field suited me much better. After spending a long time thinking about whether I should pursue this field, I finally made the decision to move forward with it.

I expected that SF Film School would provide practical skills that could be applied directly in the industry. After visiting the school and receiving consultations along with an introduction to the facilities, I became confident that it could fulfill the expectations I had. The school’s detailed consultation and interview process further strengthened my confidence in this decision.

Since this was a decision I made after a long period of consideration, I want to do my best through every stage of the process and ultimately achieve the employment results I hope for.

One of the values that guides the way I live is: “Even if I move slowly, I want to move with certainty.” Because of this, I sometimes take longer than others when making decisions and beginning something new. However, once I make a decision, I tend to approach it with commitment and persistence rather than looking for shortcuts or easy solutions. I prefer to build a strong foundation and see things through to the end.

I also recognize that when the outcome of something feels uncertain, I sometimes become anxious and my motivation can weaken, especially when studying one subject over a long period of time. I would sincerely appreciate support and guidance to help me continue moving forward without giving up. In return, I will dedicate myself fully and do my very best throughout the learning process ahead.

"I will work hard and learn so that I can pursue a career that truly excites me."

After watching movies, I often found myself still thinking about them and searching for related videos. While watching behind-the-scenes content that showed the difference between scenes before and after CG was applied, I became fascinated by the process of creating something from nothing. That experience naturally sparked my interest in the field.

I was also drawn to the idea of taking an imaginary world that exists only in someone's mind and turning it into something people can actually see. I wanted to create something that could provide visual enjoyment and leave an impression on others.

While searching for places where I could learn CG, I came across SF Film School and chose it because it seemed structured and professional. As I explored the website and looked through student projects, I thought to myself that it would be incredible if I could create work like that one day.

When I applied, I felt a sense of excitement because I thought that perhaps I, too, could someday pursue a career that genuinely makes my heart race with passion and excitement. As an accepted student, I felt happy that I would finally be able to study a field that I had always been interested in, and it felt like I had taken an important step forward from where I currently stood.

I enjoy games and often watch cinematic videos related to games as well. While thinking about what kind of work I could continue doing even during difficult moments, I eventually found myself standing here today. Although this field is completely new to me and I still have a lot to learn, I believe that if I build my skills properly from the beginning and learn step by step in a structured way, I too can eventually pursue work that genuinely excites and inspires me.

I will continue learning with dedication so that I can achieve that goal.

"I am always ready to give and receive feedback on projects with everyone."

I had the opportunity to take a hand-drawn animation class at school, and I realized that I enjoyed it much more than I had expected and that it suited me well. Since I already enjoy animation, webtoons, and games in my daily life, I naturally have many ideas for characters and stories in my mind, as well as a wide range of works that I can use as references and inspiration.

Through that experience, I decided to pursue a career in animation and the game industry. As I learned more about how the field is divided into different specialties through academy consultations and online research, I came to believe that modeling would suit me best because one of my strengths is paying close attention to detail and creating detailed visual expressions. That led me to choose the field of 3D modeling.

The hand-drawn animation class was especially meaningful to me because it became the starting point that led me to decide on this career path. During the class, I found it fascinating to learn about animation techniques, movement principles, and the use of frames. I particularly enjoyed creating animation while thinking carefully about a character’s movement frame by frame, and I felt confident in that process.

I have received consultations from five different academies, including SF Film School. When I first visited SF Film School, my immediate impression was that it was a place truly specialized in this field. As I continued through the consultation and explored the building, that first impression became even stronger. The various figures displayed throughout the building, the dual-monitor setups on each floor, the spacious environment, areas where students could rest, vending machines, and the professional facilities designed to support focused learning all stood out to me.

What impressed me most was the fact that students could ask questions to all instructors, the open communication between students and teachers, and the availability of various free special lectures. Those aspects felt particularly attractive and became major reasons why I decided to choose this school.

I am always ready to share ideas and exchange feedback on projects with others. If there are areas where my work can improve, I would truly appreciate honest feedback at any time.

"I will continue giving my best until the very end."

After deciding to stop pursuing cooking as my career path, I began searching for a new direction for my future. During that process, I started paying more attention to fields connected to the things I have always enjoyed, such as movies, dramas, and games. As I looked into careers involved in all three areas, I discovered the field of visual graphics.

I felt that with the growth of OTT platforms and the expanding media industry, the demand for visual graphics work would continue increasing and create many opportunities. More importantly, I wanted to work in a field connected to something I genuinely enjoy, which became the reason I chose visual graphics.

After deciding to pursue this path, I researched and compared several academies. Looking through different portfolios, I felt that the work created at SF Film School stood out clearly, even from the perspective of someone without prior experience in the field. I also noticed that the range of genres was very diverse. Seeing portfolios covering areas such as characters, effects, and game cinematics made me feel that this would be a good place for me to learn and grow.

Since I am coming from a cooking background, I understand that this field may feel unfamiliar and challenging at times. However, I consider perseverance and persistence to be among my strengths, and I am not someone who gives up easily. Because of that, I will continue working hard and do everything I can to successfully build a career in this field.

I feel that I can fully focus on this new path, and because of that, I am determined to continue giving my best until the very end.

"I will go beyond my limits and create new possibilities."

While studying the field of visual graphics at university, I naturally came to understand that Visual Graphic includes many different specialized areas. I have always enjoyed watching movies, especially science fiction films, and I have always been fascinated by their visual effects. Over time, I began to want to create those kinds of effects myself.

I chose SF Film School because of its student portfolios and its 24-year history, which made me feel that I could create stronger results here compared to other academies. During my visit and consultation, my first thought was that I would truly need to prepare myself mentally and work very hard. Seeing the professional equipment and the wide range of references available made me realize how serious and dedicated I would need to be.

When I applied, I also heard many discouraging comments from people around me, such as, “The film industry wears people out. You will not last long,” or “I worked in the film industry for twenty years—rather than pursuing this, you should take over your family business instead.” Even after hearing those things, I still decided to apply.

Before attending the consultation and interview, I even thought to myself that if things did not go well, I might have to give up on chasing my dreams and instead choose a more practical path focused only on financial stability and the family business. I wondered whether I would stop being the person who challenges dreams and become someone who simply follows reality.

However, becoming an accepted student and being given the opportunity to pursue my dream has made me incredibly happy. I know that challenging myself in a completely new field will not be easy, but I do not want to fail because of fear or regret.

I believe that challenges are the starting point of growth. I will continue pushing beyond my limits and create new possibilities for myself.

"My goal is to create work that can inspire others and have a positive impact on them."

I have always wanted to pursue a career in 3D overseas. Since I have spent a significant amount of time living abroad and feel comfortable communicating with people from different backgrounds, I became very interested in SF Film School because of its strong focus on supporting international employment opportunities.

I also looked into other academies, such as CGni and EnjoyCG, which also offered employment-focused curricula. However, after seeing SF Film School’s strong track record and achievements, I ultimately decided that it was the right choice for me.

My first impression of the school was very strong. Rather than feeling like a typical local academy, seeing an entire building dedicated to the school immediately gave me the impression that it had a high level of competitiveness and expertise. I was also impressed by the details inside the school, such as the RoboCop figure displayed at the entrance and the Iron Man figure in the consultation room. Those details gave me the feeling that the school genuinely respects students’ dreams and passion.

The most memorable feature for me was the motion capture equipment installed on the basement floor. Simply knowing that SF Film School had access to motion capture equipment immediately sparked a great deal of excitement and interest for me.

Because SF Film School aligns closely with my goal of working overseas, has a strong reputation and proven results, and provides access to advanced resources such as motion capture equipment, I decided that this was the right place for me.

I believe this school will give me the opportunity not only to strengthen my understanding of the production pipeline but also to build and develop my own professional identity while preparing for employment opportunities.

I am confident in my ability to approach 3D work with efficiency and dedication, and I want to achieve that goal through my experience at SF Film School.

"I will become a student you can be proud of and feel rewarded teaching."

I have worked in photo retouching using Photoshop, making one-on-one adjustments and edits for clients. While doing this work, there were many situations where I needed to engage in small talk, and at times I felt that it interrupted my concentration. Through that experience, I realized that I achieve greater satisfaction and produce better results when I can fully focus on a task rather than constantly communicating while working.

For that reason, I began thinking about changing my career path, and during that process I became interested in 3D modeling. That eventually led me to discover SF Film School.

As I explored the school’s website and carefully read through the organized information, I could feel a strong sense of professionalism. In particular, when I looked at the students’ work, I could clearly see the tremendous effort and dedication put in by both the students and instructors. Seeing that made me feel confident that I also wanted to become a student here and challenge myself in this field.

I am truly grateful to have been accepted, and I was happy to know that I could continue moving toward the goals and plans I had originally set for myself. Before starting classes, I plan to prepare myself steadily by continuing to study English and improve my artistic skills. I also hope to obtain internationally recognized certifications that may support my future career opportunities and help me become even more dedicated in my studies.

At this point, I am entering this field with very little technical knowledge and mainly with passion and determination. I understand that there may be moments when I take longer to understand concepts during class, which could sometimes feel frustrating. However, I will not lose confidence or become discouraged. I will continue working hard, show constant improvement, and put forth my best effort.

I will do everything I can to become a student you can be proud of and someone who makes teaching feel rewarding.

"I hope the day comes when I can overcome my own limits."

I still vividly remember watching Avengers: Age of Ultron and Avatar when I was nine years old. Even though the characters and worlds in those films did not exist in reality, they felt so real that, for the time I was watching, I felt completely immersed—as if I had become one of the characters within the story itself.

As someone who had a vivid imagination from a young age, visual graphics felt almost like magic to me. As I continued watching and discovering more films like these, I began to think about creating experiences for audiences myself someday. I wanted to create films so realistic and immersive that people watching in theaters would become fully absorbed in them and forget the line between reality and imagination. That desire became the reason I dreamed of becoming a VFX designer.

I had actually known about SF Film School since my first year of high school through online searches and YouTube recommendations, and I had kept it in the back of my mind ever since. Through this opportunity, I found myself searching for it again.

When I first discovered SF Film School in high school, it honestly felt like an ideal place for me. The environment offered everything I wanted to learn, and I was amazed by the quality of student portfolios, the employment results both in Korea and internationally, and the achievements in competitions and awards. I remember being surprised that a school in Korea could provide such strong instructors and facilities.

Now, after looking into it again, I feel that the school has grown even further while still maintaining the same strengths that impressed me years ago. Because of that, I strongly felt that if I were given the opportunity to study here, I would truly be able to pursue my dream. I also gained confidence that learning in this environment could help me achieve the goals I have for myself.

When I first applied, I felt a mixture of excitement and nervousness. But after becoming an accepted student, I now feel mostly excitement as I imagine the journey ahead and everything I will have the chance to learn.

Moving forward, I want to do my best while studying at SF Film School and enjoy learning together with my instructors and fellow students. I sincerely hope that through this experience, the day will come when I can go beyond my own limits.

"I will become someone who keeps moving forward."

I believe that people learn and grow greatly through what they see and experience visually. To me, movies and animation have always been more than entertainment—they have provided lessons, inspiration, and a foundation for personal growth.

When I was younger, I did not even realize that there were careers connected to creating these kinds of visual experiences. As I grew older, I began wondering what kinds of professions could communicate ideas and emotions visually, and that was when I discovered the field of visual design.

I originally considered studying in this field at university, but before even giving myself the chance to try, I became overwhelmed by thoughts such as, “Will it be too difficult?” or “Will I be good enough?” Those doubts caused me to give up before taking the first step. Instead, I chose another path and tried studying a different field, but eventually realized that it was not the right fit for me either. Looking back, I think I spent a long time feeling uncertain and lost.

Recently, however, those interests and thoughts that had been buried for a long time came back to me. This time, I wanted to approach things differently and seriously focus on studying visual design with the goal of building a future and finding employment in a field that genuinely interests me.

Just as visual media has given me inspiration and support throughout my life, I also want to create work that can visually communicate something meaningful and perhaps give others even a small amount of inspiration or help. That became one of the reasons I chose this path.

When I applied, I felt both excitement and anxiety. I wondered whether attending this school would truly help me achieve meaningful results, while at the same time worrying about what would happen if I was not accepted.

After being accepted, I felt some fear and uncertainty about whether I would be able to keep up. However, I also felt hope because I now had the opportunity to study at a school that I genuinely wanted to attend. I thought to myself that if I had been given this opportunity, I should give it everything I have.

I believe that meaningful results can only be achieved when every step forward is taken with effort and commitment. By studying at SF Film School, I want to learn practical skills, make them truly my own, and use them to build a successful career and future for myself.

I know there will be difficult moments along the way, and there may even be times when I question whether I should continue. However, just as each step of a staircase is necessary to reach the next level, I will continue moving forward without giving up.

Through constant effort and persistence, I will become someone who continues moving toward a brighter future.

"Stay hungry. Stay foolish"

One of the major visions I have for my life is to visually express the identity and personality that exist within me in the most meaningful way possible. I want people to see my work, think about it, connect with it, and experience enjoyment through it.

While searching online for an academy that could teach 3D tools at a high level, I discovered SF Film School. I felt that SF Film School was one of the strongest institutions both domestically and internationally, and since my hometown is Busan, I decided to choose the Busan campus of SF Film School.

My first impression of the school was that it had achieved many accomplishments and had a strong history of developing talented artists and professionals. Looking through the impressive videos and projects created by students, I remember thinking, “I want to become part of that group of talented people someday.”

One phrase that has had a meaningful impact on me is “Stay hungry. Stay foolish,” a well-known message from Steve Jobs’s graduation speech. To me, that message means continuing to seek knowledge, remaining passionate, and moving forward with persistence.

I always strive to maintain a desire to learn something new and continue growing into a better version of myself than I was yesterday. That mindset is something I want to carry with me as I continue learning and moving toward my goals.

"I want to become a recognized and respected professional in this field."

I have always admired high-quality visual effects and graphics in films. Ever since elementary school, I have loved animation and movies. However, I never truly spent time thinking deeply about what I genuinely wanted to do. As I continued working through difficult jobs and experiences, I eventually realized that I wanted to find something I truly enjoyed, even if it meant starting later than expected. That journey led me to discover the field of visual graphics.

When I was in middle school, I even dreamed of becoming a comic artist at Marvel. Looking back now, I feel that I have finally chosen to pursue something that I had always wanted to learn at least once in my life.

Since I am beginning this journey at the age of 27, which personally feels late to me, I wanted to be thoughtful about where I invested my time and effort. I did not want to spend my time and resources without confidence in the path I was choosing. Through recommendations from people I knew, I was introduced to SF Film School by a developer who had graduated from the program.

My first feeling after deciding to pursue this path was not excitement alone, but also a vague sense of fear and uncertainty. I wondered whether I would truly be able to do well in this field. Even with those concerns, I want to learn Maya as thoroughly and efficiently as possible and absorb as much knowledge as I can.

My immediate goal is to develop my skills to the point where I can confidently enter a company and begin my career. Beyond that, now that I have chosen to learn and commit myself to this field, I personally want to grow further and become a recognized and respected professional someday.

"I will work hard to build the skills needed to create projects on my own."

I have loved games since I was young and spent a lot of time playing many different kinds of games. While I knew that movies and animated works go through a production process before being released, I suddenly became curious about how games are created. As I researched more, I came across videos showing the development process behind characters and environments in League of Legends by Riot Games.

Watching that process left a strong impression on me. I learned how developers first discuss ideas together, create stories and personalities for characters, decide on their appearance, clothing, weapons, and the world they live in, and carefully establish every detail before beginning the design process. After that, concept art is created, and different developers contribute in their respective roles by modeling characters in 3D, creating materials, animating them, and ultimately bringing them to life. Seeing something emerge from nothing through the collaboration of creativity and technical skills felt incredibly fascinating and inspiring to me.

Because of that experience, I started wanting to create my own characters and environments someday. I also felt that relying only on drawing skills might be difficult in the long term, which eventually led me to discover SF Film School.

I felt that the school matched my goals because it offered the opportunity to learn the strengths and uses of various 3D tools such as Maya and ZBrush while also allowing me to create the kinds of projects I personally want to make. I felt that if I missed this opportunity, I would regret it greatly.

Thankfully, I was accepted, and now my thoughts are focused on following the instructors’ curriculum sincerely and doing my best toward creating the work I truly want to make.

Even if I cannot create my ideal project within six months using only my current abilities, I want to continue building my skills and learning as much as possible during that time. I will work hard to build a strong foundation so that in the future I can not only complete my own projects but also have the ability and confidence to create work independently.

"I will learn with passion and make the most of every moment without wasting time."

I first became interested in 3D modeling after seeing work created with ZBrush. That experience made me curious about other programs used in the industry, and while researching further, I learned that Maya is widely used in the field. After that, I began looking into various academies.

Among them, SF Film School left the strongest impression on me because of its facilities and overall scale compared to other places I researched. I was also impressed by the high quality of the graduates’ portfolios, and I felt that I would be able to receive a great deal of support and guidance there, which ultimately became the reason I chose the school.

I hope to participate in various competitions and gain as much experience as possible. While learning, my interests and preferred areas may evolve over time, but at the moment my goal is to work at a company related to the film industry.

At first, I was worried about whether I would be able to do well, but I want to challenge myself and work hard to achieve this new goal. I understand that beginning something new can be difficult, but I want to continue moving forward with determination.

I will learn with passion, make full use of my time, and dedicate myself fully to improving and growing.

"I hope to successfully complete the program and achieve meaningful results."

By watching movies, I gradually developed a growing curiosity about the continuous advancement of CG technology. In addition, because sculpting with clay has been one of my hobbies, I naturally became interested in 3D modeling as well. I believe this decision came from more than simply admiring movies and animation—it came from the thought, “I want to try creating something like this myself.”

I decided to choose SF Film School after looking through student projects and paying attention to the upload dates of videos on YouTube. I believed that the quality of students’ work reflects the quality of education itself. I was also encouraged by the fact that content was still being updated consistently, which gave me the impression that the school had active operations and a strong community environment.

During the first consultation, I was especially impressed that the discussion focused less on simply explaining the curriculum and more on understanding my personal goals and circumstances. I also appreciated that my questions were welcomed and answered throughout the conversation.

Since I had previously only attended regular academies rather than a school that selects applicants through an interview process, I found that aspect particularly interesting. It gave me the feeling that the school genuinely cares about the quality of education and the people entering the program.

I also feel that the other applicants likely share similar interests, motivations, and goals. Because of that, I hope we can all encourage and support one another, successfully complete the educational process together, and achieve meaningful results in the end.

"I want to keep my passion alive and see it through to the very end."

Like many people, I grew up watching 2D animation, but when I was introduced to the world of 3D animation, it felt like discovering an entirely new world. Watching Finding Nemo left a particularly strong impression on me. Compared to the 3D works I had previously known, which often felt light and artificial, I was amazed by the rich and natural movement, the realistic expression of water, and even small details such as Nemo’s wet face when he briefly came out of the water. Every scene felt unforgettable and deeply impactful.

From that moment on, I began carrying the dream of becoming someone who creates works like that in the future. As I continued discovering more 3D productions, my feelings grew beyond simply admiring other people's work. I developed a stronger desire to create something of my own.

After discovering SF Film School, I felt that this could finally become an opportunity to pursue and challenge myself with a dream of studying and creating that I had carried with me since childhood.

Until now, I had spent a long time simply admiring the world of 3D production from a distance. Looking back, I feel regret about the time I spent keeping my true interests only in my heart without fully committing to them, and for the time I spent hesitating and feeling uncertain about my path.

However, I want to use those feelings as motivation. When I face difficult lessons or moments of uncertainty during my studies, I want to use the regrets of the past as fuel to keep moving forward. Rather than allowing my passion to fade, I want to continue learning and challenging myself until the very end.

"I feel both fear and uncertainty about whether this path will truly suit me, but at the same time I also feel the excitement of a new beginning."

I first became interested in visual graphics after seeing projects created by a friend. As I thought more about my personality, the things I enjoy, and the things I feel I do well, I began to feel that this field could suit me.

One thing I especially liked was the school’s approach to selecting students through an interview process, even though it is an academy. I felt that this system would allow me to study alongside people who genuinely want to be there and are equally committed to learning, which seemed like a meaningful environment to be part of.

I spent a long time thinking about my future and considering different career paths, and only now do I feel like I am beginning to see a clearer direction. I tend to think of myself as someone who can sometimes be unorganized or move through life without a detailed plan, but I have always worked hard when responsibilities are given to me. I also find that when I become interested in something, I genuinely enjoy trying different approaches and continuously improving myself.

Starting something new has always been difficult for me, but once I begin, I am confident in my ability to work hard and stay committed. Although I can be shy, I also enjoy meeting different people and communicating with others.

The way I feel now is not very different from when I first applied. Investing a significant amount of time and effort into a field I have never experienced before and choosing to invest in my future naturally brings feelings of fear and doubt about whether this path will truly suit me. At the same time, however, there is also excitement about learning something completely new and taking the first step into an unfamiliar world.

As I move forward and work on future projects, I hope to receive not only praise and encouragement but also honest feedback that helps me face reality and improve. Since this is a path I chose after bringing together many experiences and thoughts from my life, I want to take responsibility for my decision and go beyond simply becoming an accepted student. My goal is to continue growing until I can successfully build a career and work professionally in this field.

"To become the best VFX artist, I will continue challenging myself and push beyond my limits every moment."

I enjoy watching movies, but what fascinates me most are the countless CG effects that elevate the quality and impact of a story. Because of that, I have dreamed for a long time of becoming someone who creates those visual effects for films myself.

Eventually, I decided to pursue a career in this field, and I realized that in order to freely create and work with the incredible visual effects and CG seen in movies, I would need professional guidance and proper education. I looked into many different academies focused on employment and training, but what stood out to me about SF Film School was its highly skilled instructors, exceptional facilities, and most importantly, the passion demonstrated by the students and the results they achieved through their work. Seeing those projects made me think that I wanted to study here and become an outstanding VFX artist as well.

That was the reason I immediately decided to apply to SF Film School.

The way I felt when I first applied and the way I feel now after being accepted are actually very similar—I still feel a great sense of excitement and anticipation. At the same time, I also feel a certain amount of fear.

For a long time, I felt like I could only admire this field from a distance because I did not know where to begin or how to move forward. Now, however, I feel excited because I finally have the opportunity to receive professional education and continue growing through it.

I have experienced video production and basic video editing before, but the film CG work I truly wanted to create always felt far away. I often felt frustrated because I had never experienced the process directly or understood how those effects were actually created. Now I feel that period is coming to an end.

Although stepping into a completely new world naturally feels intimidating, I want to continue moving forward with SF Film School and work toward becoming the best VFX artist I can be. I will continue challenging myself and pushing beyond my limits at every opportunity.

I have always approached life with the belief that “If I put in the effort, it can be done.” I want to carry that same mindset with me moving forward and continue learning with the belief that there is no limit to what can be achieved through dedication and effort. I will work harder than anyone else and continue growing throughout this journey.

"I will dedicate all of my time and effort to learning and improving from now on."

While taking a leave of absence from my current job and thinking about what I wanted to do in the future, I found myself reflecting on how much I had always loved science fiction films since childhood. That made me think that I wanted to learn about film CG, even if it was only a vague interest at first, so I began searching for academies.

After looking through student portfolios, I strongly felt that I also wanted to participate in the film industry and create work like that someday. Because of that, I decided that I wanted to learn properly from the basics through professional training.

I initially attended a beginner course at another academy, but I felt that the curriculum and structure were lacking. While searching for another option, I came across SF Film School portfolios on YouTube. During the consultation process, I felt that SF Film School had a well-structured curriculum, small class sizes, and a clear direction toward employment, which became the main reasons I chose it. I was also impressed by the learning environment, including the classrooms and studio facilities.

While consulting and touring the building, I felt that SF Film School was an academy with a strong system and long-standing experience. Since I had already become dissatisfied with my previous career path and made the serious decision to leave my job, I believe I am approaching this opportunity with a different level of determination.

Although I graduated from a completely unrelated field and currently have almost no background knowledge in areas such as visual media or design, I want to learn systematically through SF Film School and ultimately succeed in finding a job in this industry.

To achieve that goal, I will dedicate all of my time and effort to learning and improving. Since I truly see this as starting over and challenging myself with a completely new path, I am confident that I can work harder than anyone else.

"I am someone who shines brighter as time goes on."

While working in my current field of 2D editing and handling simple graphic and CG-related tasks, I began realizing that I wanted to improve myself further. I also discovered that I genuinely enjoy bringing ideas and imagination into reality, which made me want to study the CG field in greater depth rather than simply keeping vague plans and thoughts in mind.

As I continued exploring and thinking more seriously about what I wanted to pursue, I came across projects created by students at SF Film School. Seeing those works made me wonder, “Could I also create the things I imagine in my mind like this?” That question ultimately became one of the reasons I chose this path.

My first impression of the school was admiration. Even late into the evening, I saw students passionately working on their projects, and I was impressed by the systems that allowed personal learning and growth beyond regular class hours.

I am someone with many interests and ambitions, but above all, I live with a strong sense of achievement as my motivation. Even if I stay awake all night working on a project, the moment I see the completed result, all the exhaustion disappears, and I become excited to share it with others. I also consider myself a straightforward person who can confidently express my opinions and say when something does not feel right.

I may learn more slowly than others at times, but if I were to compare myself to a game character, I would say I am the type that becomes stronger and shines more as time passes. I believe that with patience and continuous effort, I will continue growing and showing my true potential over time.

I look forward to learning and growing through this opportunity.

"I will definitely show you myself moving toward my dream."

After discovering The Last of Us, I felt a different level of immersion compared to the games I had previously played. The natural movement, realism, and overall atmosphere allowed me to become deeply engaged in the experience, and those feelings left a strong impression on me. That was when I first became interested in graphics and visual creation.

I attended university in order to pursue something I wanted to do, but I eventually realized that the path I was on was quite different from what I had truly hoped for. There was a period where I lost my sense of direction and motivation. However, I later found something that helped me stand back up again, and that was seeing a project created by an SF Film School student.

About a year ago, when I was feeling exhausted from my own work, I happened to come across a student's project on YouTube. I was deeply moved by it. Watching that work made me think, “I should work harder too. I can do this as well.” It gave me confidence and became the reason I was able to regain focus and motivation.

Later, when I developed an interest in VFX and started researching schools, I discovered that the project which had inspired me so much had actually been created by an SF Film School student. That became the reason I chose SF Film School.

My first impression of the school felt very different from other academies. I was amazed by the characters and projects created by students, and the atmosphere itself made me feel excited about learning there. I also liked seeing how much appreciation and support the school showed toward student work.

As I learned more about the teaching approach, I was impressed by the effort to provide high-quality education while carefully considering the students’ growth and learning experience.

Even applying itself was a decision I made after a great deal of thought. At first, I simply told myself, “Let’s at least give it a try.” However, after hearing that there would be a second interview stage, I began thinking that I might not be accepted after all. So when I received the news that I had passed, I felt incredibly happy and grateful for the opportunity to study at SF Film School.

If I am given the chance to learn there, I will do my best to listen carefully, continue improving myself, and work hard toward what I truly want to achieve.

I will continue growing, and I will definitely show you myself moving toward my dream.

"I felt that I would be able to learn in a more structured and organized way than before.

At first, I was actually more interested in fashion. I frequently explored various fashion brands, their logos, designs, and lookbooks, and through that process I naturally developed an interest in photography and graphic-related work.

Later, after learning Photoshop and Illustrator, I found that rather than creating designs through Illustrator, I became much more interested in compositing work using Photoshop. I started consistently creating composite images using photos I had taken myself as a hobby, and over time I began feeling that I wanted to approach this field more seriously and professionally. I also started believing that this was something I could truly dedicate myself to and work hard at.

I had attended other academies and participated in consultations before, but I felt that learning in an environment more closely connected to real industry work would continuously motivate and inspire me. Since I was challenging myself in a completely new field without a related background, I thought that such an environment would also help me build a stronger mindset and commitment.

When I attended other academies, I often felt uncertain because the classes focused on repeatedly teaching the same material to large groups within a short period of time. I found myself wondering whether the process really suited me or whether I was progressing properly. Even when I had questions or things I did not understand, I often felt that there was little time because the focus was simply on moving through the curriculum.

Thinking back on those experiences, SF Film School felt different. I felt that I would be able to comfortably ask questions, spend enough time improving weak areas, and learn in a much more structured and organized way than before.

I also found myself reflecting on my journey up to now. I was not planning to pursue a career directly connected to my university major, and the jobs I had previously worked in did not feel clearly connected to a particular direction either. I always believed I had worked hard and done my best, but when I looked at my résumé while preparing to apply for something new, I felt like there was nothing particularly meaningful that stood out.

That realization lowered my confidence and made me question my own identity. I believed I could do well wherever I went, yet I often found myself asking what kind of person I really was and what path truly fit me.

However, during my first consultation here, I felt as though my thoughts became clearer. I started understanding what I was capable of and what I genuinely wanted to pursue. After becoming an accepted student, more than anything else, I simply felt relieved.

Now I feel grateful to have been given the opportunity to learn something I truly want to pursue. From this point forward, I believe the rest depends entirely on me. Even if difficult moments come and I feel exhausted or want to give up, I hope that my future self will remember the mindset I have right now and continue moving forward until the end.

"I plan to devote as much of my energy as possible to this school and studying English."

I first experienced 3D work through Blender in one of my university classes, and I found it both enjoyable and well suited to my interests and abilities. That experience made me seriously consider pursuing this field as a future career path.

In film production, there are often many limitations such as budget, location, and practicality. Even if an art director has strong ideas, there are many situations where those ideas cannot be fully realized because of real-world constraints. What attracted me so much to 3D was the fact that it is not restricted by time or physical space, and it allows creators to freely bring even unrealistic ideas and worlds into reality.

As I researched VFX further, I found myself thinking back to many films that had once amazed me. It made me recognize once again the power of visual effects, and I began wanting to become one of the people involved in creating works that leave that kind of impact on audiences.

While exploring the school’s website, I looked through student portfolio videos and the curriculum, and I felt that students were learning the overall process required to create complete projects rather than only focusing on one small area. I thought that this approach naturally leads to stronger portfolios and higher employment results.

At this stage, I am still not completely certain which specific area suits me best. While I do dream of finding a job in this industry, I also have a personal goal of someday creating my own project based on a story that I have imagined myself—from planning all the way through production. Because of that, I felt that studying here could help make that dream possible and allow me to learn in a broad and meaningful way. That was why I scheduled a consultation without hesitation.

During my first consultation with the director, many of the questions I had were answered. I especially liked the idea that students are guided based on their individual goals and strengths, as well as the existence of spaces where students can freely study and practice on their own.

After entering university, I feel that my mindset gradually became a little more relaxed than before. Now I feel that I need to return to the same passion and determination I had during my entrance exam period and put all of my effort into learning again. At the same time, I feel both nervous and excited about the skills I will learn and the projects I will create in the future.

I tend to become deeply focused once I become interested in something, and when that happens I fully dedicate myself to it. Because of that, I plan to devote as much energy as possible to studying at this school and improving my English as well.

"I want to create a portfolio that captures people’s attention and makes them want to come back and see it again."

After entering the film and media department, I was introduced to Adobe programs. Among them, I had the opportunity to work with After Effects, and I found it especially interesting. Even though it required a lot of time and effort, I enjoyed the process of creating various visual effects with my own hands.

As I continued learning and experiencing different programs, I was eventually introduced to 3D software as well, which made me develop an even stronger interest in graphics. Because of that growing interest, I naturally started paying closer attention to visual effects and graphics whenever I watched movies. Over time, I began thinking that I truly wanted to study and learn this field in a more serious and professional way.

I researched the curricula of various academies, but SF Film School felt different from the others because it appeared more specialized and professionally structured. I explored the website and YouTube channel to understand how the courses were taught, how portfolios were developed, and what kinds of career paths students followed after graduation. Through that process, I felt that SF Film School aligned closely with the direction I had been looking for, which led me to choose it.

Although I can be somewhat stubborn, I am also someone who becomes determined and committed when it comes to things I truly want to achieve. I also have a strong interest in visual graphics, which is why I enjoy watching films and spending time learning and researching graphics-related topics.

Ultimately, I want to create a portfolio that immediately captures people’s attention, leaves a lasting impression, and makes people want to come back and experience it again.

"I will approach this with pride, enjoyment, dedication, and gratitude."

As I got closer to graduating from university, I gradually lost interest in my major. During that time, I remembered a graduation video I had created by myself in middle school, which received a lot of praise not only from teachers but also from parents and friends. That memory led me to decide to pursue the field of video production starting last year.

After attending a 2D academy, I realized that learning 3D would help me create the kinds of videos I truly wanted to make. While looking for a place where I could study properly and seriously, I came across this academy. I felt that it had a long-standing tradition as a CG academy, and I believed there must be a reason why it had remained established in the industry for so long. I was also attracted by the opportunity for students to frequently hear and learn from industry professionals.

To be honest, when I first applied, I was more overwhelmed by the vague thought of whether I would actually be capable of doing it. However, through the interview and acceptance process, I began to think that I should simply take action first. As I learned more about the academy, I realized that acting on my goals was more important than overthinking them.

I always try to treat every opportunity as if it were my last and as if it were a precious moment that cannot be repeated. As an accepted student, I will approach this opportunity with pride, enjoyment, dedication, and gratitude.

"I want to stand out in the field of graphics."

During my school years, I enjoyed art and loved creating things. However, I eventually gave it up because of the gap I felt between my interests and the reality of entrance-exam-focused art education. As I started combining creativity with computers, I discovered the field of graphics. Around the same time, I also became interested in games and, with a youthful ambition of working for a game company, I chose my university major.

At first, I approached it with a simple idea of creating characters and game environment models. While researching the field, I noticed that many areas were closely connected with programming, which led me to study both Computer Engineering and Digital Content as my majors. Through my coursework, I had the opportunity to use 3ds Max and also gained some experience with animation.

As time went on, I developed a more specific goal: creating game cinematic videos where I could freely express and bring my imagination to life. I realized that cinematic production involved many different areas, such as modeling, animation, and more. Having a clear goal gave me even greater motivation and passion. Learning no longer felt like simply "studying"; it started to feel like something I genuinely enjoyed.

Because of this, I wanted to pursue my goals in a professional academy rather than relying solely on self-study, which can have its limitations. I chose SF Film School because I believe it offers more than repetitive and passive learning. I feel that it will allow me to gain real experience and learn with genuine passion in the field I have always dreamed of.

I live by the belief that there is no success without failure. I want to continue developing a positive mindset and become someone who overcomes challenges while making a mark in the field of graphics. I am not uncomfortable with discussions or debates; in fact, I enjoy them and appreciate efficient and logical thinking. I want to become a person who continuously challenges ideas, engages in discussion, and grows step by step.

"My ultimate goal is to give audiences hope, courage, dreams, and emotions through my work."

In the past, I had memorable experiences watching newly released 3D animated films in theaters, which led me to look for schools related to the field. Among the schools that taught 3D animation, I found a vocational school called HAL in Nagoya, where my older brother was already living. I set my goal and enrolled there.

There were many experiences and challenges that shaped my dream of becoming a 3D animator, and because of those experiences, my dream became even more meaningful and important to me. Since 2018, when my study abroad plans in Japan were decided, I had dreamed of working overseas. Pursuing my dream in a country other than Korea gave me a unique path and instilled a sense of pride in myself.

However, after returning to Korea earlier than expected due to military service, I continued pursuing my dream even while serving. Although I could no longer go abroad at the time, I still wanted to create animation, so I reached out to various educational institutions through email. The next evening, when I had access to my phone, the only place that called back was SF Film School.

Its curriculum, focused on overseas employment and building strong fundamentals step by step, reignited a dream that had gradually faded over time. I had begun worrying that I might need to start over from the beginning, but SF Film School gave me hope that I could once again pursue opportunities overseas.

My ultimate goal is to create 3D animation that gives audiences hope, courage, dreams, and countless emotions they may not have discovered within themselves. My first goal is to take my first step toward working overseas through SF Film School. Many people around me ask why I would choose a more difficult path and go abroad.

There may be easier roads and more difficult roads toward achieving a dream, but I believe that you can never truly understand a path unless you walk it yourself. I want to create my own path and turn it into a road I can be proud of. Even if I cannot prove to others that it was the right path, I want to feel that certainty within myself.

Even if the journey is difficult, even if I make mistakes and find myself looking back, I want to learn how to carry those experiences and continue moving forward rather than stepping backward. Through SF Film School, I will work hard and strive to become a graduate I can be proud of.

Since middle school, I developed an interest in the field of visual media through movies and animation. Later, while studying entrance-exam-focused art during high school, I began preparing to study abroad in Japan after receiving encouragement from my homeroom teacher. As a result, I attended university in Japan.

During my university years, I became interested in video editing through group projects and practical assignments. After graduating and returning to Korea to prepare for employment, I discovered the field of Visual Graphics. As I looked for a place where I could properly study and develop my skills in this area, I learned about SF Film School and decided to schedule a consultation.

Currently, my goal is to build my career in Japan or Canada. I intend to study diligently and do my very best to achieve that goal. Since I had originally considered transferring to a school in Japan, I want to approach this opportunity with the same mindset as transferring and starting anew. "I want to learn as much as possible."

While working in 2D motion graphics, I often looked through various references for inspiration and found myself frequently drawn to 3D works. Every time I saw them, I kept wondering, “How do people even create something like this?” I felt that compared to 2D, 3D could express a wider range of emotions and provide more interesting presentations and camera compositions that engage viewers. Because of that, I developed a dream of creating my own 3D work someday.

On my days off, I often watched animations from Pixar, Disney, and Illumination. I became fascinated by the realistic movement and character expression that 3D animation could achieve, and I gradually realized that the 3D field suited me more than 2D.

After giving it a lot of thought, I became determined to learn 3D in a deeper and more professional way. I am not a design major. I studied motion graphics on my own and eventually joined a startup company. However, whenever I looked at the videos I created there, I often found myself thinking, “This isn’t the kind of content I truly want to make.”

Then I came across videos from SF Film School, and I realized, “This is exactly the kind of work I’ve always wanted to create.” Since I had learned through self-study, I was often told that my videos lacked a professional feel. I want to study hard at SF Film School, create work that looks professional to anyone who sees it, and build a career creating the kinds of videos I truly want to make.

"I want to learn sincerely, especially because this is a decision I made after a long period of consideration."

I was deeply impressed by the visuals of Avatar and became curious about how the film had been created. While researching it, I learned that it was produced using technologies such as motion capture and various 3D techniques, which was my first introduction to this field.

As a student, I became interested in works such as Avatar and game cinematics, and I often thought about how much I wanted to try creating something similar myself. However, at that time, there was not much information available, and I had already been planning a career path in fashion design, so only now have I decided to finally pursue this field.

While searching online for videos and educational programs related to 3D and motion capture, I came across SF Film School and saw many student projects. Compared to other institutions, there were more examples of student work being showcased, and even from a beginner’s perspective, many of the projects looked highly impressive and professional. That was what led me to become interested in SF Film School.

Since I was young, I have enjoyed fantasy-themed games and animation, and I have always loved visualizing ideas from my imagination and creating new things. Since my university years and continuing until now, I have consistently engaged in creative activities such as fashion design, makeup, handmade product sales, and creating emoticons.

I had always wanted to learn this field, but because of timing and the high barrier to entry, I carried both excitement and hesitation. With part of me wanting to pursue it and another part feeling uncertain, I have only now gathered the courage to take this step.

Because this decision came after years of thought and consideration, I want to approach it sincerely and dedicate myself fully to learning.

"Success does not come simply from trying; it comes from moving in the right direction."

During my leave of absence from university, I became interested in 3D graphics and taught myself modeling and animation using Blender. In the beginning, I was able to create projects without major difficulties. However, as time went on, I began facing problems that I could no longer solve on my own, and I realized there were limits to handling situations through memorization alone. That was when I started thinking that I needed proper and professional training.

During this process, I also learned that in the field I want to pursue — 3D film and animation production — Blender is not commonly used in professional environments, and that most studios mainly use Maya. There can be many criteria when choosing an academy, but I believe the most reliable standard is the work created by students who have already graduated from that institution.

Although there are many different 3D graphics academies, SF Film School gained my trust because it consistently shares student work and competition achievements through social media. I also felt that interacting with students who create those kinds of results would help me improve my own work, which is why I decided to choose SF Film School.

There is a saying: “If you keep trying, you will succeed.” I believe in that idea, but I would like to adjust it slightly: “Success does not come simply from trying; it comes from moving in the right direction.” This phrase reflects my current situation very well.

I entered the Department of Film because I loved movies, but I eventually realized that there were clear limitations in creating the kind of films I truly wanted to make. Then I discovered the field of 3D graphics and began teaching myself Blender, a free software program. As I continued creating, I found the process increasingly enjoyable, and I wanted to make more models and animations.

Whenever I encountered difficulties, I had no one around me who was studying 3D graphics. I often had to rely on trial and error, and when I faced problems that could not even be solved through online searches, I sometimes had no choice but to give up and move on while continuing my self-study.

Up until now, I feel that I have been learning in the wrong direction. From now on, I want to communicate with instructors and classmates, receive professional guidance, and create meaningful results through a more structured and effective learning process.

"I will strive to create work that people can emotionally connect with and relate to."

While working on three-dimensional sculptural projects, I began to feel limitations in my creative process. Around that time, I came across exhibitions that combined sculpture with video and graphics, which sparked my interest in the field of visual graphics. Initially, I planned to focus on studying 2D motion graphics, but I gradually realized that I wanted to create more immersive and realistic work through 3D.

As I searched for references related to 3D projects, I found myself becoming more interested in works that contained movement, energy, and storytelling rather than simple forms. Looking at these projects often made me wonder, “How are these created?” and “What kind of software is used to make them?” Through that curiosity, I discovered the field of Visual Graphics and developed a desire to learn the techniques used in video production, CG, and animation.

As someone who majored in arts and crafts, I often turned to films and videos whenever I needed inspiration or a different perspective while creating. Watching movies frequently made me think deeply about what kind of work I wanted to create and how I wanted to express my ideas.

As I continued creating, I became more aware of the limitations of traditional materials and the challenges involved in achieving a greater level of completion and expression in my work. Those experiences naturally led me to develop an interest in the fields of 3D and VFX.

After much consideration, I came to believe that this field would allow me to express my ideas and creativity in many different ways. Since I made this decision after giving it serious thought, I want to persevere without giving up and eventually become a professional in the field of Visual Graphics.

Just as films and videos have moved me and given me meaningful emotions, I will strive to create work that allows people to connect with and share the emotions that I put into my own creations.

"My goal is to create animations that reflect my thoughts and values."

Since middle school, I have always been someone who frequently watched CG and animated works from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and many others. The works I watched while growing up left a strong impression on me, and because of that, I wanted to create animations and projects in the future that audiences, especially children, could enjoy and relate to. The animation that left the strongest impression on me was *Up*. I heard that there was a Korean student majoring in 3D Animation at SVA, and I repeatedly watched the lighting scenes that person worked on countless times. My first impression of SF Film School was that it was a place where students could create animation work with a higher level of quality compared to typical university assignments. I entered school earlier than most people and naturally also started university at a younger age. I enjoy working quickly and adapting efficiently, and I am also someone who has patience and persistence when it comes to detailed work. I want to build a portfolio that can demonstrate everything from foundational work to animation. From idea sketches to fully realized animations, my goal is to create work that reflects my own thoughts and values.

"I want to bring my imagination to life through skills that I build myself."

Since I was young, I have always enjoyed imagining stories. As I grew up, I studied directing in the fields of musicals and film. I wanted to create projects that combined my imagination with my directing ideas, but because of the realities of production environments and the limitations of my own abilities, there were many projects I could not fully realize. I want to learn CG techniques so I can directly bring my imagination to life through the skills I develop myself. When I attended an academy to study 2D, I noticed that there was also a Maya program. At that time, however, I was already busy with my studies, and it felt like something distant from me. As I continued studying, I realized that I wanted to learn a more specialized field rather than directing, which often felt abstract and required constantly dealing with relationships, situations, and unexpected challenges in real production environments. That was when I started thinking about the Maya program again. The truth was not that I had lost interest in directing, but rather that I still loved films and wanted to remain in the film industry. I wanted to properly learn the CG field and Maya, which are now widely used in the industry, and I eventually began thinking about building my career in this field as well. Although I am majoring in directing at school, I do not have knowledge or experience in CG or Maya as a tool. I received consultations from several academies, but it was difficult to find one that was suitable for beginners. SF Film School stood out because it seemed to provide an environment that supports beginners while still offering professional training through to completion. In addition, the academies where I previously learned Adobe programs felt too much like mass-production environments. SF Film School gave me the impression that I would be able to receive direct feedback from instructors and build my portfolio through close guidance, which motivated me to schedule a consultation. To be honest, I still do not fully understand the roles and applications of different fields and tools, so this is currently more of a goal than a certainty. However, I want to learn how to create work myself by directing both the storytelling and visual aspects of videos and bringing them into reality through my own hands.

"I will continue building my skills by learning everything I have always wanted to try."

After leaving my job as a web designer, I became increasingly concerned about returning to the same field. While thinking about how I could strengthen my abilities and expand my skills, I considered studying 3D, which had been something I had been interested in for quite some time. As I searched for 3D-related academies, I came across SF Film School. Afterward, I became curious about the academy and applied for a consultation. I completed both the first and second interviews and eventually received my acceptance email. When I first looked at the portfolios of previous graduates, my strongest thought was, "I want to create work like that too." At the same time, however, I was also worried about whether someone with no experience like me would be able to create work of that level and quality. However, after seeing people from non-design backgrounds produce such high-quality work, I gained confidence and decided to apply to SF Film School. After receiving my final acceptance, my concerns gradually turned into excitement, and I became eager to start learning as soon as possible. As I continue taking classes, I want to maintain that confidence and keep improving my abilities by learning everything I have always wanted to try. I believe that I am a highly responsible person. At SF Film School, I will continue to work hard, avoid giving up easily, and do my very best until the end.

"I am confident that I will not give up and will keep striving until I achieve my goals."

After graduating from a game-related major, I started working as a web developer while questioning whether development was truly the right path for me. Since I had already graduated in a related field, I decided to work in the industry so that I would not regret it later. I worked on weekdays and studied on weekends, also preparing for certifications, but I gradually began to feel my limitations in development. However, if I had not been persistent, I would not have been able to endure a long period of two years, commuting more than four hours round trip from Goyang to Pangyo. During that time, I discovered VFX and began a new challenge. While watching films, I often wondered, "How were those scenes actually filmed?" I later learned that those scenes were created through visual effects (VFX), and I became inspired to create and express realistic visuals that would not even look like CG. Since this is my first attempt in this field, I may be a bit slow at first, but I will not fall behind and will dedicate as much time as necessary to do my best. Once I start doing what I truly want, I am confident that I will not give up and will continue working hard until I reach my goals.

"I will not be embarrassed about what I do not know, and I will strive to make it my own as much as possible."

I met someone online who was working with Maya in the 3D field in Canada, and through conversations with them, I first learned about CG. In university, I also worked on multiple team projects as a double major, and I found great enjoyment in the process of creating work together with others. Because of that, I came to see this field as one where I could fully express my creative desire. When I became interested in 3D video production and started searching for academies without any specific plan, I visited all the top-ranked websites I could find. At that time, I judged SF Film School to have the highest quality student portfolios and decided to visit. When I heard that interviews would be conducted, I was initially nervous, but during the first interview, the conversation was very comfortable and I did not feel any pressure at all. It did not even feel like an interview. During the second interview, I felt that it helped me better organize my thoughts about why I was choosing this academy and how I should move forward, which I found very satisfying. When I first visited the website, I felt somewhat overwhelmed and intimidated by the complexity and the high level of the students’ portfolios, but at the same time, I also felt a strong sense of excitement. After going through the two interview rounds and receiving my acceptance email, I became determined to work hard and create my own impressive portfolio, and I also felt a strong sense of excitement. Going forward, while attending the academy, I will not be embarrassed by what I do not know and will strive to fully make it my own knowledge, so that I can complete a high-quality portfolio.

"I’m planning to start again with the mindset of properly pursuing something I truly love."

I have always had a strong interest in CG and special makeup effects. In college, although not for long, I briefly worked in special makeup. Later, I had to stop because I went abroad, and at the time I had a dream of going to WETA Studio, but I put it aside due to various practical challenges. After returning to Korea, I wanted to pursue 3D, and while researching, I came across SF Film School, where I felt a clear sense of differentiation through activities with world-renowned directors and studio heads, and I strongly felt it was different from typical mass-produced academies. Apart from my first impression of the website, when I visited in person, I felt an even more professional atmosphere seeing that the school occupied an entire building on its own. At the beginning of this year, my goal was ‘to learn everything I wanted to study.’ With that determination, while preparing for a career change, I am planning to start again properly and pursue what I truly love.

"I hope that one day I can become a positive contribution to the film and video industry."

I started making videos in high school and have always been determined to create videos for the rest of my life. Since there were not many people around me doing video work, I initially handled everything from filming to editing on my own. Based on what I taught myself through YouTube, I worked as a supporter for the video team in the HR recruitment department at Com2uS, where I also produced recruitment videos. In addition, I have spent the past 3–4 years creating motion graphics for commercial videos produced by the video crew I belong to. While motion graphics were certainly enjoyable, I felt limitations in the design aspect. I enjoy drawing and also bringing visuals to life through motion, but I felt that I lacked the ‘sense’ needed for motion graphics. My sense in combining colors, my ability to come up with innovative ideas, and my limited ability to execute ideas due to a lack of fundamentals all felt like limitations in choosing motion graphics as my career path. What I truly wanted to do was realize worlds that only exist in imagination through live-action, film-like footage. Through a school course called “Visual Effect,” I was introduced to the basics of VFX such as tracking, keying, animation, and composition using After Effects, and I realized that this suited me well, which led me to decide to pursue compositing as my career path. After deciding to specialize in compositing within VFX, I began looking for schools where I could study it. Since I had been self-learning After Effects by searching for what I needed at the moment, I felt that when it came to learning Nuke, I wanted to build a solid foundation in a structured environment. I realized that when the fundamentals are lacking, the workflow becomes much less efficient, requires significantly more time and effort, and ultimately results in lower-quality output. Later, I learned through an acquaintance that someone they knew had been hired at Dexter Studio. Through that connection, I asked about well-known compositing academies and came across one of them, ‘SF Film School.’ Compared to other academies, I noticed that the quality of student portfolios was significantly higher, and I felt that if I learned compositing there, it would be difficult but I could learn it properly, and I could bet my future on it. I am one of those video creators who hopes to eventually have my name credited in major films one day. I am very attached to the videos I create, to the point that I can watch them over and over again. The video industry is certainly challenging, but I believe it has a sense of romance, and it is something I truly love. I hope that one day I can become a positive contribution to the video industry.

"I want to further develop myself and successfully land a great job."

I have had experience working with 3D programs while studying my major courses. At first, it was difficult to understand the tools, but as I kept challenging myself, I gradually became more comfortable using them and started to find them interesting. The process of creating a final result was tough, but the sense of accomplishment when it was completed was truly rewarding. Because of this, I began to think that I wanted to go deeper into this field and pursue it as a career. I find it impressive how real-world objects can be expressed so realistically on screen. When I watch films, games, or animations, I often think, ‘It must have taken so much effort to create that!’ or ‘How much time did it take?’ Some scenes are so realistic that I couldn’t even tell they were CGI. Just like wanting to uncover the secrets behind a magic trick, I became more curious about these graphics and wanted to understand them in depth. The various models displayed at the academy, along with the overall environment, felt far more professional and impressive than I had expected. During my second interview, I was even more nervous. It made me want to be accepted even more so I could start the classes. Now that I have been admitted, I want to make full use of the academy’s system, facilities, and instructors’ expertise to further develop myself. By doing so, I want to grow and successfully land a great job.

"I look forward to how my future learning will change me, and I want to do my best to enjoy this process."

While frequently visiting design websites, the field that consistently caught my attention was Visual Graphics. I became interested in the ability to create a sense of immersion that is difficult to achieve in 2D. Since I had only recently become aware of 3D graphics, I lacked information and searched for details across various websites and online communities. At first, I looked into government-funded academies, but many reviews pointed out a lack of professional knowledge and resources. Therefore, I decided it would be better to invest more and receive education from a more specialized institution. Through my search, I came across SF Film School, and after viewing the students’ portfolios on the website, I was impressed by the professional and detailed work, which led me to immediately make a consultation call. During the consultation as well, the explanations were very professional, and I could feel confidence in the field, which gave me certainty in my decision. After completing my studies at SF Film School, I plan to transition into the 3D graphics field. Whether domestically or internationally, if given the opportunity, I aim to develop my skills and broaden my perspective. I once had vague admiration and uncertainty about 3D graphic design, but now I am ready to take on the challenge. With a love for design itself and enthusiasm for learning new things, I am filled with anticipation. Although I currently lack professional skills and knowledge, I can feel my passion and interest in this field. 3D may be a difficult subject for me, but I intend to learn step by step. I believe I can grow with the guidance and support of professionals. This is a long-term project for me, and although I approached it with some hesitation, I will learn with the mindset of moving forward together with fellow students and instructors. I look forward to how my future learning will change me, and I want to do my best to enjoy this process.

"I can confidently say that I have the confidence to create something new better than anyone else."

Since my school days, I have experienced my perspective expanding through various forms of art, and I developed a strong interest in culture and the arts. When I was young, I simply enjoyed filling blank paper with drawings and colors, which led me to major in traditional Eastern painting. However, after entering university, I became interested in the different forms of media and video-based works in exhibitions and museums, which felt quite new to me. Unlike traditional Eastern painting, which is limited to two-dimensional expression, 3D fascinated me because it allows free imagination in both flat and three-dimensional spaces. I have always liked SF films, and while searching for my own method of expression, I began to think that CG technology and traditional Eastern painting—two seemingly opposite forms of expression—might interact to create something different, and I developed the ambition to try it. Although I may initially be weaker in technical aspects compared to those who majored in design or computer science, I strongly believe that by practicing and expressing what I have learned, I can create something new better than anyone else. SF Film School, which focuses on detailed and specialized education rather than broad general content, appealed to me because it does not simply teach general software, but divides education into specific expression areas within the SF field, allowing for more professional, detailed, and foundational learning tailored to what students want. My original goal has always been to set high aspirations and achieve them step by step, and I have a strong desire to study at SF Film School, which holds the title of being world-ranked number one. When I visited the academy, I was able to see the professional workflow using high-quality computers, educational facilities, and chroma key studio rooms, which was very impressive. I hope to further develop my ability to turn my imagination into three-dimensional visuals on screen. Since I am still at a stage where I know very little, I believe my range of questions and understanding may be limited, so I would appreciate receiving broad and in-depth guidance to expand my perspective. I also hope to learn as much as possible about SF and its field of study.

"Since it is my first time, it will naturally be difficult and I will struggle, but I will endure that time and work hard to build my own skills."

I have always been interested in interior design and arranging spaces, so while deciding to take it as a double major, I enrolled in a basic spatial design course. It was an interesting class, but since it was very introductory, it did not use the software I wanted to learn. I heard that programs like CAD or SketchUp are difficult to learn on my own, so while looking into various academies, I came across the 3D category and was introduced to a program called Maya for the first time. From that point on, I started searching for 3D-related videos and works, and became interested in the field of 3D modeling. As I explored further, I began noticing more and more video works created with graphics. I usually enjoy watching idol music videos, and I noticed that compared to the past, the use of graphics in music videos has significantly increased and the overall quality continues to improve. The use of graphics adds depth to videos and provides a rich visual experience, which made me want to try new approaches in my future work as well. After viewing the curriculum, student portfolios, and various activities on the SF Film School website, I felt that the school does not simply focus on learning software or job preparation, but places importance on deepening understanding of visual graphics as a field and developing one’s own work through detailed research and growth. I believed that in such an environment, even a beginner like me could learn the process of creating good work despite my lack of experience, which led me to make my decision. As a beginner, I was worried whether I could keep up with the classes. I had almost no experience with 2D software, which made me even more anxious. Still, my interest in 3D kept growing, and I really wanted to learn it. I felt that those who were accepted here had already clearly decided their career path in this field, so I worried that someone as uncertain as me might be rejected. However, I was accepted, and I feel both excited and nervous. Since it is my first time, it will naturally be difficult and I will struggle, but I will endure that time and work hard to build my own skills.

Since high school, I have watched films such as Marvel movies, Myeongnyang, and Sweet Home, as well as commercials and game trailer videos, and was fascinated by the special effects and 3D animation, often thinking, “How were these made so realistically? I want to create something like this myself and produce my own work.” I began searching and researching this field. After learning about the VFX industry, I understood that it is a difficult field to study, but the more I researched it, the more attractive it became, and the more I wanted to learn it. Although my major is in 2D, I have always been very interested in CG, visual effects, and 3D animation seen in films. Wanting to set my career path straight before it was too late, I came across SF Film School. I applied with the fear of trying something I had never experienced before, but after passing the first and second interviews, I gained the courage to overcome that fear. My first goal is to successfully complete the regular course together with the assigned classmates without issue. After that, I plan to advance to the portfolio class and create my own outstanding work, ultimately progressing toward employment. As a non-major, I may learn at a slower pace compared to those around me. Nevertheless, I will work diligently and push myself to keep up without holding my breath.

"I am determined to approach this with the mindset that effort yields results and to truly give it my all."

I enjoy movies across various genres, but my favorite director is Christopher Nolan, and my favorite genre is SF/fantasy. In particular, I am a huge fan of the Avatar and Dune series. My interest in these films naturally led me to learn about VFX technology. I would look up behind-the-scenes footage of film production, research how designers created spaces that support the world-building, and explore directing techniques. However, I became equally fascinated with post-production work.
Before graduating from the Film Department, I first graduated from the Design Department, and I have considerable confidence in learning tools. That’s why, after discovering this technology, I started wondering whether I might one day design visual effects for works like Dune. This curiosity led me to develop a strong interest in the field of visual graphics.
Initially, I applied with the purpose of career counseling and to learn more about the academy in detail. I am truly thrilled to have been accepted into SF Film School. I am especially happy that the field I want to study perfectly aligns with the school’s curriculum. I plan to go all in on this learning until I secure employment.
While it is naturally rewarding to have my abilities recognized by others, I believe the most important thing is finding work that makes me genuinely happy. There are times when effort doesn’t produce the desired results, but I always feel the greatest joy when a final piece emerges through the process. In the past, I’ve sometimes deceived myself into feeling satisfied, and there have also been times when the results exceeded my efforts. This time, however, I intend to move forward with the mindset that effort will bring results and truly work as hard as I can.

I first encountered the graphics field while attending university. I became interested in how computers and design combine, along with the somewhat unfamiliar area of 3D, which led me to choose this path. I wanted to properly understand and learn about the 3D field, and I was deeply impressed by the works on the school’s homepage, so I chose SF Film School. I thought, 'If I make the effort, couldn’t I also create great works like these?' While excellent works obviously require personal effort, I believe outstanding instructors also played a major role in achieving them. That is why I decided to join this school.
During my first visit, the counseling teacher kindly showed me various student works and explained them in detail, which left a strong impression. After seeing so many outstanding pieces, I was very worried whether I could actually get accepted. Now that I have been accepted, I am incredibly happy. My goal is to create works that can positively influence and inspire others.

"I applied with the determination that this would be a major turning point in my life."

During university, I majored in 3D and Media. While studying my major, I was most confident in character sculpting, whereas Maya hard surface modeling (prop creation) was the most challenging for me. Every time I completed a piece, solved unresolved problems, and grew one step further, I felt a deep sense of interest and enjoyment. It was this interest that led me to choose this path as my career.
As I thought about developing my portfolio further and wanted to study in a better environment, I considered various options and ultimately decided to attend an academy. While searching for the right place, I came across the works of current SF Film School students on YouTube. The high quality of their work left a strong impression on me, which is why I decided to join SF Film School.
I want to actively participate in various projects and collaborations, creating meaningful and memorable experiences during my time here.
When I applied, I did so with the resolve that this would be a significant turning point in my life. While watching YouTube videos, I found modeling really interesting and felt that I wanted to create things myself. As I build my skills, I want to make my own original works and share them with many people. After watching videos, it looked so fun that I installed Blender at home and tried it on my own. Through this process, I want to improve my skills, create my own unique works, and show them to others.
I want to build a fantasy-style portfolio featuring a small cabin nestled among giant trees, floating sky islands in the distance, and hills covered with mountains and forests.

"I will devote myself fully to the education and do my very best."

My major was Video Animation, so I have tried various types of work such as motion graphics and 2D animation. However, I felt that 3D modeling classes suited me the best. After watching many games, 3D movies, and various works, I developed a strong desire to make a career out of creating them.
I chose to attend an academy because I believed that receiving help with difficult parts during work and learning practical techniques used in the industry would be much more efficient than self-studying. At the previous academy I attended, they didn’t properly teach the work methods. They would just give assignments, so I had no idea what I was doing. After I somehow finished, they would say it was wrong and make me start over from the beginning. I don’t want to waste time like that again. I want classes where I can learn properly and meaningfully.
During the in-person interview at SF Film School, the detailed explanations about my questions were very helpful. Although becoming a modeler was my dream, I had a lot of worries about which field or company I should prepare for. The reason I decided on a 3D career was because I wanted to become the person who creates the games and movies I love. Through the counseling, I was able to clarify what I really want to create.
I love games and movies, and I especially enjoy their stories. Although I don’t have much professional work experience, I believe I have a solid foundational knowledge from the classes I took at school and my personal projects. I hope to learn a great deal through the academy.
I will study the fundamentals properly from the beginning and do my absolute best so that I can get a job at a place I want and do what I love.

"I am excited because I believe this will be a fun challenge and a valuable experience."

Although I majored in Music, I learned that graphics are used to create videos in various music-related media such as films, animations, music videos, and games. Recently, I also discovered that they are widely used in the metaverse and virtual production, which sparked my interest.
Whenever I watch movies or animations, I often think how fun it would be to create such graphics myself. I also frequently imagined that combining my major in music with graphics could produce even higher-quality videos. Music concerts also use a lot of graphics to deliver various elements fused with music to the audience. While thinking about what it would be like if music and art came together, I learned about the Maya program.
While searching for an academy to learn Maya, I found the SF Film School homepage. After visiting and receiving counseling, I noticed that unlike other academies, the information was explained in great detail. Looking at the abundant resources and students’ works, I could feel the school’s unique confidence and pride. I thought that if I studied here, I could learn with full trust.
During the counseling session, the detailed explanations helped me, a complete beginner, develop a strong interest. In addition, the academy’s facilities were clean and equipped with various tools and equipment, which made me confident that I could learn a great deal by studying here.
Although this is a completely different field from what I’ve done before, I was worried whether I could handle it. However, after being accepted, I feel excited because I believe this will be a fun challenge and a meaningful experience.
Going forward, I truly want to learn with all my heart, become the best version of myself, and study without any regrets. Once I become proficient with the tools, I hope it will lead to employment as well. I am determined to do my very best, learn as much as possible, and gain diverse experiences.

Through frequently watching creature features and military-themed videos, I developed a strong interest in CG and VFX. While majoring in Fine Arts, I often drew weapons and creatures, which led me to want to design them myself and turn them into actual video works. That is why I chose SF Film School.
After researching several academies, I was particularly drawn to SF Film School’s technical works focused on creatures, mechs, and military themes. The moment I visited the school and saw the creatures and character figures from movies and games on display, my desire to turn my own original creatures into videos became even stronger and clearer.
Although I may be starting a bit later than others, I want to work hard to gain a competitive edge. My goal is to get a job at a company where I can create works for films, cinematics, and other media that the public can enjoy.
Through my experience working in the fashion industry, I learned about various design fields. That’s how I discovered the profession of computer graphics designer. "I want to make the most of my leave of absence by dedicating myself to learning graphics and turning this year into a truly valuable one."

When I was attending a sculpture entrance exam academy, the director once demonstrated ZBrush during class to show what sculpture majors could do and to help us better understand head anatomy. That was my first encounter with ZBrush, and I realized I could create human figures using this method. Since then, the most attractive aspect for me has been the ability to create virtual worlds using a computer that go beyond real-world limitations.
Sculpture classes focus mainly on physical forms in the real world, which come with many restrictions regarding materials and space. I thought that working with computers would have fewer limitations and would be much more enjoyable.
When I visited the SF Film School homepage and looked through the portfolios and curriculum, the works stood out to me because the modeling and movement looked very natural and impressive. It was also the only academy that displayed overseas award-winning records on their site, which caught my attention. I also heard that they frequently hold seminars, and I believed attending real industry seminars would be a great opportunity to understand the actual atmosphere and situations on real production sites. This became one of the reasons I chose SF Film School.
My first impression of SF Film School was quite global, with national flags displayed inside. The homepage also showed an atmosphere of communicating with overseas professionals, and seeing the motion capture studio gave me a strong sense of professionalism.
I’m not sure yet how much help it will be in learning graphics, but I have studied human head anatomy for quite a long time — starting from the 3rd year of middle school for 5 years, followed by 1.5 years of working as an instructor. I am most confident in accurately depicting animals and people using given materials. My most recent work was a large wooden bighorn sheep head. The process of refining the volume of the face and expressing the solid texture and shape of the horns was very enjoyable, and I felt it turned out better than my other works.
Currently, I know almost nothing about graphics, but I am eager to learn with great effort. When it comes to something I truly enjoy, I can focus for a very long time with strong dedication.
I want to make the most of my leave of absence by working hard on graphics and turning this year into a truly meaningful and valuable one.

"I plan to invest as much time as possible and work hard for my future."

I first encountered design during high school when I took an IT Design class. At the time, I simply enjoyed drawing and didn’t have much interest beyond that. Later, while wandering in my career path during my social life, a friend who was working in 3D recommended the field to me. As I looked into it, I gradually developed a strong interest.
At first, I was attracted to the stability of the job, but later my goal evolved into wanting to see works that I personally participated in on the big screen or TV. I believe the moment I see my own work from the audience’s perspective will bring an indescribable sense of accomplishment and pride. I am determined to study hard so that I can stand in that position.
Even before my first counseling session at SF Film School, I learned that the school selects students through a two-step process. I applied with the firm determination to get accepted no matter what, and when I received the acceptance notice, I felt great relief and excitement as I began planning for the future.
I believe the outcome depends on one’s own efforts regardless of the academy. For my future, I plan to invest as much time as possible and dedicate myself fully to learning. Of course, it will be difficult and challenging at times, but I believe that if I overcome those hardships and remain sincere, I will be rewarded with good results.
If you teach me with passion, I will follow with the same level of enthusiasm and dedication.

"I still have lingering attachment to art, so I am making this my final challenge."

While researching career paths related to sculpture, I discovered 3D modeling. I believed that 3D would be a field where I could utilize my sculpture experience to find employment. While looking for 3D academies, I found SF Film School and consulted with several other academies as well.
When I first visited the academy, I came in with vague thoughts, thinking I would at least try counseling. During the consultation, they kindly explained what I needed to learn and the approximate timeline, which helped me build a basic framework for my studies.
I don’t have much resistance to learning new things and tend to pick things up quickly. Because I still have lingering feelings for art, I want to give it one last try. To me, this period is my final opportunity. I see this one-year period as a crucial time in which I can grow significantly, so I plan to move forward with full commitment and stay very busy.

"I am confident that I can do my very best to produce high-quality video works."

Since high school, I have been using After Effects as a hobby. Later, when I majored in Video Production at university, I became even more interested in Visual Graphics while taking classes and creating my own projects. While majoring in video, I primarily worked on post-production. However, I felt that simple editing had its limitations. After watching other people’s portfolios on YouTube and Vimeo, I became highly interested. When I asked acquaintances for recommendations, they suggested SF Film School, which led me to choose it.
I am confident in learning various tools while handling post-production work. I am proficient in motion graphics, color correction, video production, and video editing techniques.
As a graduate of the Broadcasting Technology department, I have strengthened my collaboration skills through numerous team projects. With my fast learning ability and strong problem-solving skills, I have successfully completed many projects. I am ready to actively take on any given tasks and have full confidence that I will do my utmost to create high-level video productions.

"I gained the confidence that I could learn 3D in a truly professional manner here."

Since I used to draw cartoons and animations, I naturally developed some interest in 3D animation as well. Later, when I learned about the special admission process at Korea National University of Arts, I started researching and looking up various 3D animation portfolios and work processes. From that point on, my interest grew stronger, and I began to seriously consider learning it myself.
I felt that SF Film School would allow me to properly learn 3D graphics, and that the instructors were highly knowledgeable and would provide excellent guidance. My first impression was how impressively high the quality of the students’ portfolios was. When I visited the academy in person, I became convinced that I could learn the 3D field in a truly professional way here.
Although I have not yet studied 3D animation, through my experience with 2D animation, I am confident in expressing natural and diverse movements. I want to learn everything from the basic tools to all the necessary techniques required to create 3D animations.

"I am determined to take the course seriously, work hard, and achieve the results I desire."

After working as a visual designer for two years, I switched my career path to the video field. Although I had been interested in VFX from the beginning, I decided it would be better to first understand the overall structure of video production. I have been working as a Video PD for about one and a half years. I want to learn the job I truly desire before it gets any later.
I researched various VFX academies and lectures, and I chose SF Film School because I believed it was the most practical and professionally equipped. After receiving my first consultation, I felt I was able to gain basic knowledge about VFX and clear up some of the questions I had.
Since VFX is used across many different areas, I hope to transition into a production role where I can improve my skills while working on films, commercials, and various other projects.
Since my school days, I dreamed of entering art university. While working in visual design, I became interested in video production and eventually in the field of VFX.
I plan to attend classes diligently and put in my best effort to achieve the results I want.

"I want to grow into a professional and create my own original, unique works."

I believe the Visual Graphics field has bright employment prospects because it is actively used not only in the film industry but across a wide range of industries. It is also closely related to my major, the creation process is highly interesting, and I feel a strong sense of accomplishment when a project is completed.
While working on film production, I realized that special effects are not merely a post-production task, but an important part of the pre-production and production stages as well. I was looking for an academy where I could systematically learn the entire production process, and I ultimately chose SF Film School.
So far, I have mainly worked on compositing. Through the classes, I want to learn FX simulation and challenge myself to become an FX artist. To achieve these goals, I will study consistently and continue taking on new challenges.
I am always open to new challenges, and I aspire to grow into a true professional in the film and VFX industry, creating my own original works. Based on my experience and passion, I hope to gain the opportunity to grow even further at SF Film School.

"I want to study what I truly desire and create my own works to feel a sense of pride and accomplishment."

Recently, while watching content on OTT services, I noticed that many videos incorporate advanced graphic techniques. The more I saw them, the more naturally interested I became. Although supplementing my studies is one reason, I have been interested in this field since childhood, so the thought ‘I want to create something like that too’ kept coming to mind.
While attending university, I became quite proficient in 2D tools like Figma, so I had no major difficulties completing my major projects. However, I became interested in 3D work such as Maya and 3ds Max, but since I couldn’t use them at all, I lacked confidence both academically and career-wise. Even though it’s a field I’m interested in, not knowing how to do it made my confidence drop.
I want to truly ‘study’ by attending this academy. Starting from the basics, I want to pursue the studies I genuinely want, produce my own works, and experience that sense of pride. It may take me some time to understand everything, but I will work hard.

"I have grown a lot through university, but I still feel I am far from enough."

In my first year of university, I was introduced to CG through basic 3D graphics and 3D character modeling classes. In the 3D character modeling class, I enjoyed drawing character sheets and building the character piece by piece. The sense of pride I felt when the character was completed was immense. The moment my semester project character was rigged and moved for the first time was incredibly fascinating. Since then, I have wanted to keep creating more works and continue developing my skills.
Although I took CG classes throughout university and completed a graduation project, I still feel there is so much I don’t know about CG. I want to study rigging, VFX, and realistic sculpting in greater depth. I believe sculpting is best learned with feedback from others. While I have always studied by sharing opinions with others in school, I realized that this method helps me improve the most and makes learning the most enjoyable. That’s why I started looking for academies.
Among them, I was particularly impressed by SF Film School’s outstanding student portfolios. I felt that the school would provide truly professional guidance to each and every student. With the hopeful thought, ‘Could I also grow to that level?’, I decided to choose SF Film School.
During my graduation project, a teammate once told me, “You’re like a sponge. You immediately apply what you’re taught, and sometimes even expand on it. Your growth speed is scary.” Just like that, I will always strive to make every piece of feedback and knowledge my own so I can grow.
I have grown a lot through university, but I still feel I am greatly lacking. I want to grow significantly more through SF Film School.

"I hope to set clear goals through the classes and work on them with sincerity and dedication."

In university, I studied Fashion and Media Design as my major subjects. Regardless of the field, visually expressing ideas has always been the most important part for me, so I worked across a wide range of methods — from hand-drawn to 2D and 3D. When working with 3D objects, I tried using programs such as Maya, Blender, and After Effects at a basic level. Although I didn’t learn them professionally, I developed a strong interest in handling these programs, which became a major motivation for me to learn them properly.
I visited SF Film School as well as other academies for consultations. Most other places taught general editing programs (such as Photoshop and Illustrator) together, which made them seem less specialized. During my in-person consultation at SF Film School, I was able to view the works of current students. The quality was noticeably high, likely due to the school’s strong specialization in CG overall.
When doing personal projects, I usually start from personal or abstract experiences. My goal is to create short stories based on specific themes and turn them into 3D works. When I studied fashion design, I would set a specific character and develop ideas through in-depth research on that character. I took the same approach when studying media design.
Once I complete the program and build my portfolio, I want to create videos that tell stories centered around a specific character or object that I have developed and built up myself. I tend to lose motivation when I don’t have clear goals. Therefore, I hope that through the classes at SF Film School, I can set proper goals and work on them diligently and sincerely.

"I hope that attending SF Film School will become a major turning point in my life."

While researching game graphics, I learned that there are professional academies where I could study without going to university. I attended one for about a year. During that time, I experienced the pride of creating a complete work using only my own imagination. After always only watching what others made, actually creating something myself made me realize how much effort and intricate detail goes into every single part. This process brought me great joy in video production.
At the academy, I learned the basics of Maya step by step and created works myself. I want to select the field that suits me best, learn additional programs, build my own portfolio, and not only work in Korea but also participate in renowned projects around the world if given the opportunity.
I deeply regret how I wasted my student years — the most important period for career decisions — without giving it any serious thought. However, I don’t think it’s too late. I now believe I have finally found what I truly want to do. I sincerely hope that attending SF Film School will become the turning point of my life.

"I want to realistically create and bring to life the things I imagine."

I enjoy drawing realistic pictures and creating stories, then drawing images that fit those stories. Going one step further, I developed a strong desire to realistically create and animate the things I come up with in my head. After seeing related works at an exhibition, I wanted to learn more about this field in depth. While searching for academies online, I learned about SF Film School.
When I saw the students’ works, the quality was very high. It felt like the instructors didn’t just assign tasks, but actively supported students to create better works. I also thought that having a lot of professional equipment would allow me to learn much more.
My first impression was that students were building portfolios based on what they genuinely liked, and that the academy was equipped with many professional tools. I was also glad that, through the first and second interviews, I would be studying with motivated students. If many of the people in class lacked motivation, it could affect me too, so I’m happy to be in a motivated group.
The interview process gave me an opportunity to reflect once again on what I really want to do and what kind of person I am. Going forward, I want to attend classes while continuously thinking about what I want to do and what I like more, and develop ideas for my portfolio.

"I want to become a person who is well-known in the 3D industry simply by name after entering society."

After attending a special lecture on VFX, I became interested in the field. While watching many behind-the-scenes videos of movie and game cinematic production, I was captivated by the idea of creating characters myself. I was particularly drawn to character movements, hair dynamics, fabric textures, and background graphics that could convey world-building and atmosphere — I really wanted to create these myself.
I have always enjoyed closely observing objects and paying attention to details such as textures and materials. I wanted to use these strengths to create my own unique 3D characters.
While initially researching academies, I chose SF Film School after seeing the high quality of previous students’ works on the homepage, along with the detailed curriculum and the abundance of professional equipment.
My first impression of SF Film School was one of excitement. After the consultation, as I was leaving the building, I thought to myself, “If I study here, I could become like them too!”
I am proficient in 2D programs such as Photoshop and Illustrator, but I have no experience with 3D yet. Therefore, I truly want to learn a great deal through this opportunity.
I will absorb as much as possible here and, after entering the industry, become a person so respected in the 3D field that people recognize me by name alone.

I have always loved 3D animation and fantasy films, which made me want to learn CG. To understand what I needed to study for this field, I searched online and looked up CG and VFX credits from movies. That’s how I learned more about this industry.
The biggest appeal for me was the ability to turn imagined objects into visible reality through visual graphics. Creating worlds that are impossible in real life using visual graphics seemed incredibly interesting and exciting.
When I first visited SF Film School for counseling, I was impressed by the various award records and the students’ portfolio videos. It gave me a strong feeling that the training here was professional and systematic.
When I received my acceptance, I felt a powerful sense of a new beginning. Going forward, even if there are areas where I am lacking or face difficulties, I will strive to resolve them completely and keep moving forward.

"I will create the best portfolio I am capable of making.

While I was wandering and struggling with career concerns, I hoped for a field where I could ‘see visible results’, feel a strong sense of accomplishment, and think, ‘I really worked hard on this project!’ It was during this time that a short-form video with realistic and majestic motion graphics caught my attention. I realized I needed to learn professional skills and pursue employment in this area.
When I looked at portfolios from other academies, I often felt unsatisfied, thinking, “This isn’t the level of work I wanted to create… I want to make something more realistic and complete.” But when I saw SF Film School’s portfolio piece ‘Pinocchio’, I instantly knew — “This is exactly the kind of result I’ve been wanting to make!”
I immediately applied for a consultation. During the session, I could strongly feel the instructors’ pride and confidence, which gave me a lot of trust. I thought, “If I study here, I’ll be able to create works like these too!”
I want to build a solid foundation from the basics so that nothing holds me back when creating the works I envision. "I will throw myself into it and do my very best."

While studying Mechanical Engineering, I learned how to use CAD. I enjoyed it at the time, so I began looking into related fields, both directly and indirectly. That’s when I started thinking about trying something that involved working with 3D.
Then, thanks to YouTube’s algorithm, I happened to watch a video of the virtual idol group ‘PLAVE’, which debuted last year. I was so fascinated that I became curious about how they were made. From that point on, I began researching the Visual Graphics field — motion capture, 3D environments, character modeling, and more.
There were many parts I couldn’t understand well because I had never studied them before, but I gradually gathered information through YouTubers’ videos and Google searches. At some point, I noticed that 3D environments kept catching my attention the most. Whether watching movies, animations, or playing games, I started constantly focusing on the backgrounds and environments.
My curiosity about the production process grew stronger, and I wanted to try making things myself. I took time to seriously consider whether this was just a passing interest or something I should pursue seriously.
Eventually, at the age of 28 — which is not a young age — I decided with the mindset that this could be my last major challenge. If there was a possibility to learn this properly and turn it into a career, I wanted to take it.
For preliminary research, I searched online and visited other academies for consultations. However, there were parts that were difficult to understand. During the consultation at SF Film School, I liked how they explained unclear parts visually. Additionally, it was the first time I felt like I was looking at a vocational school similar to ones I saw in Germany, rather than a typical academy.
The fact that helpful instructors are always present, combined with the clear separation between class time and dedicated feedback sessions, was very appealing to me since I am starting from the basics. That’s why I chose SF Film School.
When I applied, I was filled with determination to do well. Now that I’ve been accepted, I’m a bit worried about whether I can really do a good job. However, I don’t want to run away out of fear. I will throw myself into it and give it my very best.

"I want to experience the process of creating final results and demonstrate my abilities as a professional."

I have always had a strong interest in visual fields such as photography, fashion, film, and animation. I wanted to learn about video production, which involves complex elements and processes. I was particularly eager to understand how CG is expressed in films, along with realistic representation, motion, screen editing techniques, and directing skills.
Although I learned about VFX only recently, I believe it will bring great satisfaction to create intended visual effects exactly as planned.
I discovered SF Film School while searching about CG and VFX online. Compared to other academies, I felt it offered solid, systematic education. Rather than a place that focuses only on quickly learning tools for fast employment, it felt like a school where I could professionally learn about ‘video’ as a whole.
At first, I was impatient and considered studying only the minimum necessary to get a job quickly. However, I realized that without a comprehensive understanding of the actual workflow, there would be significant limitations in the long run. Therefore, I chose SF Film School because I wanted to learn my field thoroughly from the beginning. I also believe that a larger academy offers more diverse experiences, which is a big advantage.
Although I still have much to learn, I dream of working in the film industry. I want to work in the VFX field, communicate with those who create movies, experience the process of building final results together, and demonstrate my skills as a true professional.

"I want to become a truly solid and skilled professional."

While working as a web designer at a design agency, I gained interest in compositing work after trying background and character compositing using raw footage from photo shoots. This naturally led me to explore video compositing as a field I could be passionate about for a long time. Combining this with my university experiences, I looked into VFX and CG. After watching movies with heavy VFX and CG elements and seeing the CG effects before-and-after comparisons and behind-the-scenes stories on the TV program ‘출발! 비디오 여행’ (Outing! Video Travel), I ultimately developed a dream of becoming a creator.
I chose SF Film School because the name itself includes “School,” which gave me confidence in its educational quality. Additionally, the volume and quality of student activities and portfolio information on the homepage were far superior compared to other academies, making me expect that this place would focus intensively on portfolios as well as the curriculum. Although I was looking for a VFX academy with employment in mind, I didn’t want a short-term crash course for quick employment. I wanted to build real skills that would allow me to apply to the companies I truly desire and work there long-term.
Unlike other academies that immediately started explaining the curriculum during consultation and gave vague answers when I asked about employment, SF Film School first explained which programs I would learn in my desired field and what perspective I should have. This made the VFX field much easier to understand and gave me strong trust that it is a truly professional institution. When they explained the companies where graduates got employed and detailed the curriculum, I gained a lot of confidence in SF Film School. Especially when they introduced the facilities, including the computers and self-study rooms, I judged that this was an academy where I could study sufficiently and build my skills. That’s why I decided to take this opportunity and apply.
Since it operates on a quarterly intake system and admission involves a two-step interview process, I felt it was a very significant gateway. I applied with a great sense of responsibility. As I desperately wanted this and chose SF Film School for better employment prospects after being accepted, I am determined to study hard without disappointing myself. I will definitely achieve employment results and become a truly solid and skilled professional.

"Through my work, I want to give people the gift of momentarily escaping from reality."

The reason I first chose the field of video as my career path was because I could capture fleeting moments that pass by in our daily lives through the camera. Starting from simply recording people’s shining moments, I eventually wanted to become a creator who could amplify the voices of the underprivileged and those experiencing inequality, thereby shedding light on the blind spots of society. I believe video is a powerful form of communication that conveys emotions and experiences that are difficult to fully express through language alone.
Until now, I have only edited videos I personally filmed, and I have always felt a sense of limitation. This led me to vaguely wonder, “Is it not possible to create things that don’t exist in reality?” and for the first time, I began to focus on the process of creating graphics.

"I will actively and without hesitation ask questions whenever needed."

While majoring in Graphic Design at university, I studied motion graphics. Naturally, as I worked with various video tools, I also began using 3D tools. Although my major emphasized typography design, layout, and composition, I found myself much more interested in bringing moving typography to life using 3D tools rather than working on static two-dimensional designs.
Most projects in graphic design tend to stay within flat, two-dimensional planes. In contrast, I was strongly drawn to Visual Graphics, where works can be presented in rich, three-dimensional spaces.
What impressed me about SF Film School was the clear and detailed explanation regarding class duration, frequency, and the purpose behind each part of the curriculum, which gave me strong confidence in the program. Additionally, the fact that the academy provides a professional 3D production environment for students who may struggle to work effectively at home was a major deciding factor for me.
As a beginner in professional 3D programs, I am committed to attending classes with sincerity and diligence. Furthermore, if there is anything I do not understand, "I will actively and without hesitation ask questions whenever needed."

I want to live each day looking forward to tomorrow and continuously improving. Through studying Visual Graphics — especially CG — I want to set clear goals and work toward realizing them.
I also place great importance on building good character. I believe that to do so, I should surround myself with people who are passionately pursuing their dreams and grow alongside them. Additionally, I strive to do everything I commit to with thoroughness and excellence.

"I want to become an animation director and walk the path that allows me to protect and pursue this dream."

I am deeply interested in animation, particularly 3D animation. While it has the disadvantage of potentially longer production periods compared to 2D, I am strongly drawn to its unique strengths — such as free camera movement, three-dimensional depth, spatial direction, and sophisticated lighting.
Watching Spider-Man swing through buildings with his webs made me realize that this dynamic, exhilarating sense of movement is something only 3D animation can truly deliver. I became captivated by the freedom 3D offers the camera compared to 2D.
Most academies claim to have professional facilities and systematic curricula, but what stood out about SF Film School during my in-person visit and consultation was its authenticity. From the overseas award records and excellent facilities and equipment to the genuine passion and care visible throughout the academy — especially from the consultants — I felt a strong sense of trust. The confidence that comes from real experience and proven achievements was particularly convincing.
I plan to focus on mastering the tools and techniques of Maya, one of the foundational programs in 3D animation, while working hard to develop the fluidity and naturalness of movement. In addition to learning how to operate the program, I also intend to thoroughly study the theory of animation, including the 12 Principles of Animation.
"I want to become an animation director and walk the path that allows me to protect and pursue this dream."
I am someone who is never afraid to learn and truly sincere about my dream. I would greatly appreciate it if you could see me that way.

"Even if the path ahead is rough, I hope to learn skills that can become a solid support so I never fall down."

After watching a Zepeto portfolio video on YouTube Shorts, I became inspired to create high-quality videos like that myself. In the design industry, I no longer wanted to simply use other people’s creations. I wanted to become a creator who produces original work with my own hands — work that others would seek out and use. This aspiration led me to pursue Visual Graphics.
After the consultation and touring the academy, I observed students fully immersed in their studies and was impressed by the clean, professional environment. It gave me a strong sense that I had made the right decision.
At SF Film School, I aim to build a solid foundation in VFX. "Even if the path ahead is rough, I hope to learn skills that can become a reliable support, allowing me to stand firm without falling.

"I will keep in mind that opportunities come to those who make an effort, and I will do my very best."

I originally loved creating piano music, but I had no interest in making commercial music, so I didn’t think it would be suitable as a career. While searching for a profession where I could carefully craft something with my own hands and proudly say “I made this,” I thought of fields such as goldsmithing, content creation, and carpentry.
At that time, an acquaintance working in design told me about the CG field and introduced me to it. I felt it perfectly aligned with what I had been looking for — something I could do well and that matched my interests and personality.
What stood out during the consultation was that, unlike other academies where only professional sales consultants handle inquiries, SF Film School had actual industry professionals providing guidance. This gave me great trust. The academy’s exterior was impressive, and the interior truly felt like a dedicated VFX school. The study environment, lighting, layout, and rest areas were all excellent. I was also very satisfied with the clear and detailed explanation of the curriculum.
Although I applied with great passion, I was also worried about what would happen if I wasn’t accepted. Now that I have been accepted, "I will keep in mind that opportunities come to those who make an effort, and I will do my very best.

"I will attend classes with sincerity and diligence."

I have always had a strong interest in movie special effects and the backgrounds featured in games. While majoring in Interior Design, I studied both 2D and 3D. I found 3D work the most exciting — the process of building diverse and stunning virtual spaces from an empty void. To learn 3D more professionally, I researched VFX academies online and selected SF Film School for its outstanding reputation and expertise.
I was particularly drawn to the fact that, unlike other academies, SF Film School specializes in VFX and special effects. Since these are the exact programs I have wanted to learn, I am fully committed to attending and giving my best effort.

"Sincerity is my everything! I will never give up and will approach everything with diligence."

I originally focused on 2D programs and was preparing in that direction. However, while working on projects, I began to feel that adding 3D elements would make the work much more compelling, which naturally led me to develop an interest in 3D.
I wanted to learn Maya and prepare for a career in that field, so I started researching academies and discovered SF Film School. I was immediately captivated by the outstanding quality of the student portfolios on the website. After reviewing the curriculum and facilities, I decided to visit for a consultation. The detailed and kind explanation, combined with seeing the excellent facilities in person, made me even more eager to join.
During the consultation, they thoroughly answered all the questions I had, which built strong trust and excitement about studying here. I will keep this motivation alive, study consistently, and strive to produce great results.
Although I have never used Maya or other 3D programs before and may face many challenges at the beginning, "Sincerity is my everything! I will never give up and will approach everything with diligence."

"I want to continuously develop myself while preparing for overseas study, so that I can work in even larger global markets."

My interest in this field first began in childhood when I watched CG in movies and found it fascinating. In high school, I attended an architectural Meister school where I was introduced to programs like 3ds Max and SketchUp. Through these experiences, I became confident that I had a natural aptitude for 3D programs.
I first learned about SF Film School through my parents’ recommendation. After the interview, I developed strong trust in the academy. I was convinced that its structured educational system would allow me to clearly understand what I am learning, why it is important, and how to apply it. Moreover, as someone who values practicality, I felt that SF Film School — which emphasizes the genuine process of creating portfolios rather than superficial ones — would be the perfect fit for me.
After completing the curriculum, I plan to enter the industry immediately to gain real-world experience, build my career and technical skills, continuously develop myself, and simultaneously prepare for overseas study so I can work in larger global markets.
I am truly delighted to have been accepted. I am eager to learn as much as possible.

"I will work hard and hope to create great results."

From a very young age, I was deeply impressed by Shim Hyung-rae’s film D-War. Entering high school, my passion for movies grew rapidly. I watched dozens of films each year, became an MVIP at the cinema, and started researching behind-the-scenes production stories. After watching Avatar, I became fascinated by how such a film was created and wished I could one day be part of a team that brings such incredible worlds to life.
Dissatisfied with the previous academy I attended, I searched online and found SF Film School. After viewing the graduates’ outstanding portfolios and strong employment records on the website, I knew this was the place for me. I particularly appreciate the two-step interview process, as it selects students who are genuinely passionate about visual effects. I believe this allows a smaller group of students to receive dedicated guidance and truly develop their skills.
I am the type of person who dives deeply into fields I’m interested in and pushes forward toward my goals without being overly concerned about others’ opinions. Although I have some previous experience, it has been a while, and I haven’t worked with Maya recently, so I know I am lacking in many areas. I will likely have numerous questions and may need extra help, but I am fully committed.

"I hope that studying at SF Film School becomes a new turning point in my life."

When preparing my art university portfolio, I was considering majoring in motion graphics. That was when I first discovered the field of visual graphics. Although I had long been interested in animation and games, I was particularly drawn to the animations in story cutscenes rather than gameplay itself. Given that my major is Computer Engineering, I believed I could leverage this foundational knowledge to build a career in 3D — a field I truly enjoy.
I selected SF Film School because it offers the most detailed and practical information on overseas employment. The small class sizes also convinced me that I would receive more focused guidance and attention compared to other academies. Additionally, since I live in Gangwon-do, the academy’s convenient location in Gangnam was another important factor.
After the consultation, as I toured the facilities, I saw that every space — from the portfolio rooms and practice studios to the cinema room — was actively in use. This created a powerful self-directed learning environment and atmosphere, which greatly appealed to me. Since I am easily influenced by my surroundings, I believe this kind of dedicated setting will help me stay focused and productive.
I genuinely enjoy learning new things. While I may not be the fastest learner, I am confident in my ability to persist and work steadily once I set my mind to something.

"I want to develop myself to the point where I can secure employment."

Since childhood, I have loved SF and fantasy films and media, which naturally sparked my interest in the 3D field. I developed a clear goal of creating works that could one day be released in the film or game industry.
At university, I initially double-majored in Visual Design and Video from my freshman year until the first semester of my sophomore year. From the second semester of my junior year, I fully transitioned to the 3D major, where I have been learning Maya and producing simple animations.
However, I felt that relying solely on the university’s 3D curriculum had clear limitations for building a competitive portfolio. This led me to decide to attend an academy. Upon first visiting the SF Film School website, I was deeply impressed by the students’ outstanding works and the numerous high-quality projects that had won awards in various competitions. It gave me strong confidence in the academy, and I was motivated by a strong desire to create work of that caliber myself.
After completing the program at SF Film School, I hope to build VFX skills sufficient for an internship, the ability to produce quality work independently, and practical, industry-ready capabilities.

"I believe that learning and results ultimately depend on oneself."

Since my school years, I have spent a great deal of time contemplating my career path. I believe consistency is the most important factor, and I tend to immerse myself deeply only in areas where I feel genuine interest or necessity. This led me to choose a related major, and I consider it a fitting decision given my aptitude and accomplishments, as I truly enjoyed all the classes in my department.
Although it took me some time, I have now finally made a clear decision for my future. I particularly enjoy analyzing the direction and staging when watching movies or game cinematics. I am drawn to videos where characters perform motions through motion capture and impactful effects harmonize with the stage. Recently, after discovering the group ‘PLAVE,’ I have been impressed by the rapid advancement in CG and video technology seen in their music videos.
After researching multiple academies, I chose SF Film School as the most professional option. I also appreciated that the instructors thoughtfully guide the classes with clear direction and purpose.
Personally, regardless of where I study, "I believe that learning and results ultimately depend on oneself." I am aware that I may be starting a little later than others, which is why I decided to take action now before it’s too late. "I want to become a competitive professional by building my skills from the basics through SF Film School’s education."

One of my relatives established and runs a company in this field overseas. As this relative served as my guardian during my school years, I naturally became interested in the media industry and ultimately decided to pursue VFX — the creation of visuals and effects that can only be imagined.
Having lived abroad since childhood with no language barrier, my goal is to gain valuable experience through overseas employment. I chose SF Film School after seeing that the students’ works demonstrated a noticeably higher level of quality and completeness compared to any other academies I had reviewed. It felt like a place that truly focuses on developing students’ real capabilities, allowing them to stand out with competitive skills in the job market, rather than being an ordinary VFX academy.

"I want to emerge as a complete and accomplished background designer."

After struggling with my music major at university, I decided to stop composing and pursue 3D as my second path. This experience helped me realize the importance of clearly identifying what I want and setting concrete goals for the future.
My passion began with the virtual industry, and it has since expanded to game cinematics, film backgrounds, and 3D background art. To succeed in these areas, I understand that I need broad capabilities across multiple techniques and visual approaches rather than mastering just one tool. While looking for an academy, I discovered SF Film School through student portfolio videos on YouTube.
The unique consultation process and two-step interview gave me strong confidence, so I applied. Now that I have been accepted, I feel both excited and nervous, as this represents the first meaningful step toward achieving my second dream.
I plan to focus mainly on background design, while also learning Nuke. My goal is to work as a modeler specializing in film and cinematic backgrounds. In addition, I will personally study Unreal Engine, Unity, and Blender to build connections in the rapidly growing personal and corporate virtual sectors. I also intend to create my own projects, exploring various industries rather than being limited to one.
I will not be satisfied with just the academy curriculum. With technology and AI advancing quickly, and my deep interest in cinematic videos and the expanding virtual market, I have many things I want to pursue. Therefore, I am determined to keep studying, creating, and achieving more.
Since I believe creation begins with imitation, I will actively reference works from my university days and the knowledge from SF Film School’s curriculum. Through this process of learning, imitating, and creating, I want to grow into a fully accomplished background designer.

"I will learn diligently and strive to grow."

During my time at university, I was first introduced to After Effects and Nuke in a class — programs I had never encountered in my major. The idea of creating virtual worlds and bringing new things to life was incredibly fun and fascinating. I realized I wanted to do work that I am truly interested in and passionate about.
Holding onto the vague dream of one day seeing my own name in the ending credits, I began searching for academies to turn my aspiration of working in VFX into reality. I was particularly drawn to SF Film School’s small class sizes through its pre-interview selection process and the quarterly system. I also liked the idea of studying alongside motivated students who could support and inspire one another. The interview process allowed me to reflect deeply on the field I wish to pursue.
Given that SF Film School produces many students with outstanding portfolios, I am determined to complete a high-quality portfolio through the program and work toward employment at a leading domestic VFX company.

"I will create a recognized and competitive portfolio."

I have long been passionate about films and color. While researching career paths in this field, I discovered the role of Digital Colorist through online recommendations. I visited a government-funded academy in Gangnam for a consultation, but was advised that studying color grading alone would make it difficult to find employment. They recommended learning compositing if I wanted to work in film or drama production. This guidance led me to research Maya and Nuke, and eventually to SF Film School.
After reading online experiences that government-funded programs often fail to provide enough skill for actual employment and result in wasted time, I chose to make a proper investment in systematic, professional education.
When I toured the academy facilities, I was truly impressed and amazed to see student works that looked like they belonged in a Marvel movie. I am deeply grateful to have been accepted and given this opportunity to learn and work toward employment. It feels like a meaningful step closer to my dream job.

"I want to expand my technical range as a character concept artist."

I am a concept artist and illustrator with two years of professional experience in the game industry. While I specialize in character design, I have recently developed a strong passion for weapon design and have been actively studying hard surface design.
Aside from occasionally using 3D programs for lighting and perspective reference in my 2D work, I have never formally utilized them. I felt this created significant limitations in my capabilities as an artist, which is why I decided to pursue this path. Furthermore, I realized that remaining stagnant in this fast-evolving industry would restrict the tools I can use in real production environments and cause me to fall behind.
I applied to SF Film School because I want to broaden my technical skills as a character concept artist. My immediate goal is to gain the ability to choose the studio I truly want to work for. In the long term, after proving my artistic capabilities to myself, I aspire to establish my own studio.

While doing art in the past, I developed a strong interest in animation and aspired to become a concept designer. Later, as I worked as a video designer for performances, I naturally became interested in the film industry. Upon researching visual technologies used in movies, I discovered the field of Visual Graphics. I was captivated by the idea of turning the audience’s imagination into visual reality and decided to pursue this path.
While searching for an academy to transition my career into film, I found SF Film School. As SF fantasy is my favorite movie genre and I believed the school specializes in film VFX, I applied for a consultation. I was particularly impressed by the distinctive admission process — from the initial application and consultation to the interview and final acceptance — which felt more selective and professional than other academies.
Just like in the movie The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, I hope that the fantasies I’ve only imagined can one day become reality. "I am a person who wants to live with burning passion."

In the 4th grade of elementary school, I once wrote a fantasy story with no clear structure after listening to music. Lacking the ability to draw it visually, I simply wrote it down in text. Since then, writing has remained a hobby, and I even took writing lessons at one point. Yet, my deep desire to express myself visually never disappeared.
After spending three years just drawing lines while busy trying to make a living, I discovered Autodesk Maya and 3ds Max. I thought that if I could master these programs, I might finally be able to visually realize what I wanted to create. However, I struggled with YouTube tutorials, books, and version compatibility issues. A friend then advised me, “Stop wasting time and enroll in a proper CG academy.”
During the three months I worked at an entrance exam prep academy, I observed that most places only offered overly positive assurances. In contrast, during my consultation at SF Film School, I received honest advice: “If you’re only planning to do this as a hobby, this academy may not be the right fit.” That sincerity convinced me I had come to the right place.
My dream is to work as a metal precision craftsman, create CG works as an artist, and upload them to YouTube as a hobby. Although I am no longer young, I refuse to become narrow-minded. I want to keep struggling and live with genuine passion.
There will surely be people here with different values and career goals, but I hope you can simply see me as one fellow artist.

"I want to get my name in the movie credits."

Due to the nature of my major, I had several chances to come across the field of Visual Graphics. Through this exposure and by seeing several seniors studying in this area, I naturally became interested. Once, our school carried out a media facade project, and even though it was student work, it looked truly impressive. That experience made me want to create my own video works and showcase them to many people.
After deciding to pursue video-related work, I began carefully watching the ending credits of every movie I saw. I realized that CG was behind even the scenes I had casually enjoyed, and I resolved that someday I would have my own name listed in those credits.
Honestly, SF Film School was not my top priority at first. However, during the consultation, as I asked various questions, I could clearly feel that the academy thought seriously about students’ employment and long-term career development — more so than other academies. Additionally, the fact that they conduct two interviews made me realize this is not a place that accepts students just because they pay the tuition. I believed they had this selective process because the instructors teach with genuine passion and want to gather the right students. I felt that this was a place where I could gain a lot, so I put my full effort into the interview and became determined to attend SF Film School.
While studying here, I want to create a portfolio with a focus on horror and thriller directing styles. I also hope to learn extensively from the instructors and my fellow students. While studying Fashion Design, I was first introduced to CLO and Blender, which sparked my interest in the field of 3D. As I learned how to use the tools, I found the process enjoyable and felt that it suited me well. I was especially drawn to the ability to bring ideas to life in a three-dimensional form.

In addition, seeing friends around me studying CG made me want to challenge myself with more detailed and refined work. I learned about SF Film School through a recommendation from an alumni senior. "I want to transform my work into 3D and CG models."

My interest in the Visual Graphic field began from a simple question that came to mind as someone who has always enjoyed watching dramas and movies: How is the CG used in these kinds of content actually created? That curiosity gradually developed into a desire to become directly involved in creating films, dramas, and various forms of visual content, and to make something that could be shared with others.

My motivation goes beyond simply finding a job. I genuinely want to explore the full potential of this field and have a strong desire to create my own work through hands-on experience with the tools and programs themselves.

I first learned about SF Film School through a recommendation from a senior, and during my first in-person consultation, I was impressed by how clearly everything was explained, even from the perspective of someone without a related background. The availability of a cinema room, personal study spaces, and practice facilities made me feel even more strongly that this was the right place for me. I also really liked how well-structured and organized the curriculum was.

When applying, I had many concerns such as, Can I really do this? and Am I making the right choice? Starting over in a completely different field from my major felt intimidating. However, after receiving the acceptance notice, those worries quickly turned into excitement, and now I find myself eager to begin learning as soon as possible.

I am currently majoring in Painting, and I have always wanted to bring my artwork into a 3D and CG format. As I will be returning to university and entering my final year, I have also developed the ambition of using the skills I learn to create my graduation project.

More than anything, I am highly motivated to study this field seriously and hope to create work that I can share with a wider audience as soon as possible.

"I want to create interesting projects by adding my imagination to them."

My interest in CG began through watching films. I was fascinated by the idea of creating things that are difficult to film in real life or things that do not even exist. That sense of possibility strongly appealed to me, and it made me think, I wish I could create things like that too. While exploring this interest further, I discovered the field of Visual Graphics.

While searching for VFX and Maya academies, I found it difficult to make decisions because there were so many promotional reviews online. Then, through a recommendation from someone I knew, I learned about SF Film School. After visiting the website, I was impressed by the high quality of the students’ work and the fact that it seemed to operate in a structured environment similar to a school.

When I visited SF Film School in person, I felt that I could understand why it had been recognized so highly over the years. I gained confidence that studying there would allow me to learn professionally rather than just gaining a superficial understanding while spending time and money. Unlike other academies, I felt that this was a place where I could use what I learned to create the kinds of projects I personally wanted to make, which became the reason I chose it.

I want to study hard and turn the things I admired when I was younger into reality. While attending the academy, I would like to create imaginative and engaging projects with settings such as the ocean, forests, and outer space.

Rather than giving up after a single failure, I want to maintain the mindset that even if I rest for a day, I can work harder the next day. I will continue learning with persistence and determination.

"I want to improve my skills and become an artist people can trust and rely on."

Since the field I was originally studying did not align well with my interests and strengths, I began thinking seriously about a new career path. During that process, I found myself becoming more interested in films. After realizing that my previous path was no longer right for me, I came to the conclusion that there was no reason not to pursue something I genuinely enjoy.

I had always admired the people working in the film industry, and for the first time, I felt that I could also contribute to that world. My appreciation for visually striking and dynamic productions gradually grew stronger, which naturally led to an increasing interest in CG.

I also believed that the demand for visually engaging content would continue to grow and that technologies capable of bringing unreal or imagined concepts into visual form would become increasingly important within society and culture. These thoughts ultimately led me to choose the CG field.

I first discovered SF Film School through online research, and while exploring the website, I was able to build a clearer understanding of the different areas within the field. At first, the highly professional atmosphere felt somewhat intimidating, but as I compared various academies, my desire to learn properly and seriously continued to grow, which eventually led me to make my decision.

During the consultation process, I received detailed and friendly explanations about the curriculum in a comfortable environment. Learning that many students also came from non-related backgrounds gave me confidence and encouraged me to enroll.

Even now, it still feels somewhat unreal that I have begun learning VFX, but I want to maintain the mindset I started with and continue building my skills step by step from the fundamentals. I am motivated to gradually create the kinds of scenes and projects I envision.

Ultimately, I hope to join a company where I can work on a variety of projects, continuously improve my abilities, and grow into an artist whom others can trust and confidently rely on.

"Before becoming a student who is simply good at something, I want to become a student who enjoys the process and challenges myself as much as possible."

While studying Media and Video, I learned to use various programs such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and DaVinci Resolve. However, as these tools have become more widely accessible and easier for many people to use, I began to feel that there was less distinction in having those skills alone as a major-related strength. Because of this, I started looking for a more specialized and niche area within the broader field of visual media, which eventually led me to develop an interest in Visual Graphics.

As post-production continues to play an increasingly important role in films and dramas today, I felt that this field has strong potential and a promising future.

Although I have currently transferred into an Animation and Video department, I realized that there were significant differences between what I had previously learned in Media and Video and the skills needed for this field. I felt that additional learning would be necessary. I tried studying on my own, but I encountered more difficulties than expected, which led me to start searching for an academy.

After comparing several institutions, I decided to choose SF Film School because I could clearly sense its professionalism in VFX through the website, and the high quality of the students’ portfolio work gave me confidence in the program.

The first interview process was a unique and interesting experience because it focused on learning more about me and my future goals. It gave me the positive impression that the process would help provide more personalized guidance and direction.

Now that I have received my acceptance notice and am preparing to officially begin attending the academy, my thoughts are centered less around worry and more around the mindset of, “Rather than trying to be perfect from the start, I want to enjoy the process.” I am looking forward to beginning classes with that attitude.

Before becoming a student who is simply skilled, I want to become someone who genuinely enjoys learning and continues to challenge myself as much as I can.

"I want to make my name known in the field of Visual Graphics."

I have always enjoyed watching movies and animated films. Among them, I remember being especially impressed after watching Moana. The ocean effects, character movements, textures, and color design left a strong impression on me. Later, I was introduced to cinematic works created by Blizzard Entertainment and Riot Games, and I felt that the Visual Graphic field had no limits when it came to expressing ideas and imagination.

That experience made me think that perhaps I could also create something that others could watch and become immersed in. I wanted to make work that could give viewers the same excitement and emotions that I experienced while watching those cinematics, and that became the reason I developed an interest in this field.

I first learned about SF Film School before my military service while searching through websites and YouTube for 3D-related academies and portfolios. As I explored different fields and learning paths, I felt that I wanted an opportunity to learn properly and in greater depth, which became the reason I chose this academy.

During the first interview and consultation process, I felt that the academy approached education with sincerity, and it also became a chance for me to reflect on my own goals and mindset. Since it was my first time experiencing an interview process like the first and second interviews, I was nervous, but I also felt that it helped me strengthen my determination and approach the opportunity with greater sincerity.

When I first applied, I was extremely nervous. However, after being accepted and knowing that I would officially become a student at the academy, those feelings gradually turned into a mixture of excitement and anticipation. I feel both nervous and eager about what I will learn and about being able to create the kinds of portfolio projects I have imagined.

After studying at the academy, I hope to join a company that suits me well and gain practical experience. Eventually, I want to expand my opportunities internationally, and in the future, I want to build a name for myself and become recognized in the field of Visual Graphics.

"I want to become someone who contributes to the production of large-scale projects with significant investment behind them."

About three years ago, a friend mentioned wanting to pursue a career in the CG industry, and that was when I first became aware of the Visual Graphic field. While studying motion graphics, I gradually developed a strong interest in 3D and began learning Cinema 4D as well.

As time went on, I met friends working in areas such as look development and compositing. Through learning Cinema 4D and seeing their work, I started feeling that I wanted to study 3D in a more structured and in-depth way. I began exploring Blender and Unreal Engine through online videos and tutorials, and as I continued creating projects, my interest in learning Maya grew even stronger.

While looking through portfolios from different academies, I felt that SF Film School stood out the most, which led me to visit and receive a consultation. When I visited the academy, I had a positive impression because the students seemed to have a close and supportive atmosphere. The first and second interview process also felt similar to a school admission interview, which was exciting and made me feel even more motivated to take on a new challenge.

Answering the questions during the interview process gave me a clearer understanding of the direction I want to pursue, where I currently stand, and what I need moving forward.

Now that I have been accepted and will officially attend the academy, I want to approach this opportunity with sincerity and dedication. I plan to study and learn as much as possible, making the most of this experience.

Based on the skills and knowledge I gain, I hope to become someone who can contribute to large-scale productions with substantial budgets behind them. Even if my progress feels slow at times, I will continue investing time into learning, improving myself, and finding different ways to apply what I learn through consistent effort.

"I want to become someone who is recognized across various fields."

While searching for information related to graphics, I came across a graphic designer on social media who used the term Visual Graphics while showing their creative process. Curious about the field, I began researching it further and was introduced to programs such as Maya and ZBrush.

My interest in visual creation actually began much earlier. When I was in fifth grade, I was introduced to the game Halo, and that experience inspired me to pursue becoming a graphic designer. Because of that goal, I began studying art with the intention of entering a Visual Design program.

Later, during my senior year of high school while preparing for entrance exams through art studies, I started wondering what it would be like to physically create game characters and objects from movies. This curiosity led me to begin studying special makeup effects. Although special makeup allows realistic creations and physical movement, I felt there were limitations when it came to achieving the level of detailed expression, scale adjustment, environments, and visual effects that could be created through graphic design. I wanted to create works that felt even more realistic and immersive.

As I watched game cinematics and science-fiction films, I became deeply fascinated by the process of making fictional elements appear real. I found myself thinking, “I also want to create work that draws viewers into a world and strengthens their sense of immersion and excitement.” That became the reason I chose this field.

While exploring the SF Film School website, I saw students’ portfolio projects and was impressed by the realism of the work and the variety of programs being used. It gave me the impression that I would be able to receive structured and professional training there, which became a major reason for choosing the academy.

During the consultation process, the staff explained unfamiliar concepts in detail and provided a thorough introduction to the graphics field, which gave me confidence and trust. Touring the building also strengthened that feeling because each floor had a comfortable environment and a positive atmosphere that made me feel that this was a place where I truly wanted to learn.

Compared with other academies, I felt that SF Film School offered a more systematic structure and stronger specialization in graphic-related software and training. Through studying there, I want to learn a wide range of skills and continue developing my expertise.

I want to study hard and eventually work in the film graphics industry. Beyond that, I also hope to share my projects on social media and become someone who can inspire others. More than being recognized only for technical skills in graphics, I want to become a person who is respected and recognized in many different ways, including character, attitude, and professionalism.

"I want to create a visually striking and symbolic short-form portfolio project."

More specifically, I had been interested in working in areas such as 3D animation or VFX within live-action films. I had taken basic animation classes at school before, and although the lessons did not go into advanced topics, I found myself becoming interested in the field while taking those classes.

From a practical perspective, I also felt that the range of career opportunities seemed broader compared to film editing alone, which made me want to explore this direction further.

While searching for places in Korea where I could properly study VFX, I happened to discover SF Film School. My first impression was that it felt like a place that could provide much more practical guidance and support than trying to learn everything independently.

While attending the academy, I am planning to create a short portfolio project with themes such as cyberpunk or post-apocalyptic worlds. Because of the nature of short-form projects, I believe one of my strengths is expressing strong visual and symbolic elements. I would like to combine those aspects and create a project that effectively blends atmosphere, symbolism, and visual impact into a cohesive piece.

rograms and tools. Because of that, I strongly felt that I wanted to study at SF Film School.

I appreciated that the first consultation provided detailed explanations and gave me the chance to closely explore the academy environment. I also liked that the second interview process, which involved written documents, allowed me to take my time and complete it comfortably at home.

I was very worried when applying because I lacked related experience and knowledge, and I still feel some of those concerns even now. However, through the consultation process, I learned that beginners can also challenge themselves in this field. Because I know I have a lot to learn, I want to make up for my inexperience through effort and dedication, and I am determined to learn as much as possible.

"I always want to learn, improve, and grow through hard work and giving my best effort."

Through elective courses in school, I naturally developed an interest in design-related content. As I looked at artwork from films and games, website designs, and advertisements, I began thinking more deeply about how visual elements can effectively communicate information. Through online research, I also came to understand the importance and creativity behind various fields such as graphic design, illustration, and animation.

As I recognized the growing importance of visually engaging content in modern society, I developed a stronger desire to express my own creativity through the Visual Graphic field.

While searching for Maya academies, I discovered SF Film School. After viewing the outstanding portfolios created by students on the website, I became very interested in the academy. I was particularly impressed by the seminars and special lectures conducted with domestic and international partners, as well as the structured filming and editing facilities I saw during the consultation.

I was also interested in the level of information, guidance, and support offered to students. Through the first and second interview processes, I gained the impression that the academy values careful consideration and places importance on building strong communication and understanding with its students throughout the learning process.

The fact that students are selected carefully and classes are built around creating an environment where students can support and learn from one another made me feel that the academy prioritizes educational quality rather than simply increasing the number of students. I believe that this approach plays an important role in creating meaningful interactions and an effective learning environment.

For these reasons, I decided to apply to SF Film School, and I am looking forward to growing within a collaborative and professional educational environment.

When I applied, I approached the interview process carefully and sincerely. Now that I have been accepted, I feel a stronger sense of responsibility and believe that I should approach my studies with a dedicated and disciplined attitude. Being accepted has also given me a greater sense of motivation and commitment to work even harder.

Although everything still feels somewhat unfamiliar to me, I want to continue learning, improving, and growing by always giving my best effort. I hope to develop further through the guidance and advice of my instructors and continue building my skills throughout my time at the academy.

"I want to grow into an excellent 3D animator and, eventually, become a director."

During my second year of university, I took a Visual Graphics class related to the CG field, which deepened my interest in this area. Although I had previously gained a basic understanding of product design and visual design during high school, I came to realize that CG requires much more complex thinking and problem-solving compared to two-dimensional work.

To overcome this challenge, I began searching for related videos, conducting my own research, and creating practice models to experiment with animation. Throughout this process, I received positive feedback, which increased both my confidence and my interest in 3D animation. As a result, I decided that I wanted to pursue this field as my future career path.

However, at my current university, the curriculum mainly focuses on basic modeling using 3ds Max, which made me feel that there were limitations in the depth of learning available. Through that experience, I developed a stronger desire for more advanced training and practical experience.

That was when I discovered SF Film School. I was drawn to the academy because it offered opportunities to learn a wide range of programs and explore modern technologies such as motion capture and metaverse-related production techniques. I felt confident that, with my determination and passion, this environment would help me achieve greater growth in the field of 3D animation.

Before attending the consultation, I learned through the official website that the academy conducts interview processes before making admissions decisions. Personally, I viewed this first and second interview system very positively. I felt that it was designed to create an environment where people with strong motivation and genuine interest in the 3D field could come together, inspire one another, and build positive creative synergy.

With that mindset, I approached the interviews sincerely and worked hard because I wanted to become part of that learning environment.

I want to put in my best effort to become the person I envision and achieve the goals I have set for myself. I am excited about the future of learning and creating through SF Film School while continuing to develop my abilities through hands-on experience in 3D production.

Ultimately, I want to continue improving myself and grow into an outstanding 3D animator and, in the future, become a director as well.

"I believe that with effort and learning, nothing is impossible, so I will study hard and do my best."

My interest in the visual content field began simply from watching movies and thinking, “These CG effects are amazing.” I enjoyed watching videos that compared scenes before and after VFX work was applied, and I became curious about how these effects and virtual environments were actually created.

More recently, as concepts such as the metaverse became more widely discussed, I was introduced to many different types of content and found my interest growing once again. This led to a stronger desire to create virtual spaces and environments myself.

Because of my interest in virtual reality and the metaverse, I began searching for places where I could learn tools such as Unreal Engine. Among many academies, I heard that SF Film School provided strong and reliable education, so I explored its website and reviews before deciding to apply.

After visiting in person and having a consultation, I developed even greater confidence in the academy because of its thoughtful approach and well-prepared learning environment. I also found the first and second interview process refreshing because it allowed me to express more about myself and gave me time to think carefully about how to communicate my goals and motivations.

I had been feeling a little nervous throughout the process, but after being accepted, those worries and nervous feelings seemed to disappear, leaving mostly excitement for what lies ahead.

I hope to continue moving forward by working hard, balancing my responsibilities, and also spending time learning independently outside of class. I believe that there is very little that cannot be achieved through dedication and continuous learning, and for that reason, I intend to study with determination and give my best effort.

"I believe that if I give my best effort, I will have no regrets."

Through both my academic background and personal projects, I had opportunities to create various types of video content. At one point, I wanted to create a scene showing a planet falling within a project, but I encountered technical limitations that prevented me from achieving the result I envisioned. During that process, I remembered Maya, a program I had previously experienced at another academy I attended. However, at the time, the cost of the full version felt burdensome to me.

As an alternative, I began learning and experimenting with programs such as Unreal Engine and Blender through freely available resources and tutorials. Through that process of exploring new tools and testing ideas, I found myself becoming increasingly interested in the work itself. This experience eventually led me away from my original career direction of becoming a broadcast video editor and toward the Visual Graphic field.

One reason for this change was my belief that traditional video editing may become increasingly affected by automation and the large number of people already working within the industry. In contrast, I felt that the Visual Graphic field still strongly relies on creativity, imagination, and artistic expression—qualities that cannot easily be replaced. Because of this, I believed the field offered greater opportunities and long-term potential for growth, which became an important reason for choosing this path.

I had also encountered projects created by SF Film School students through various platforms, and I was impressed by their high level of quality. During my first consultation, I was able to directly see the learning environment, and it clearly felt different from other academies. Seeing the instructors' serious approach and dedication toward students inspired me and strengthened my desire to grow into a highly skilled 3D artist.

In addition, after reviewing the curriculum on the academy website, I felt that it was designed with a strong understanding of the practical skills and expertise required for a professional 3D artist in the industry. Seeing the numerous partnerships and employment connections both domestically and internationally further strengthened my desire to study at SF Film School.

For my future portfolio work, I would like to create a project set in a world that goes beyond the rules and limitations of reality—a setting involving magic, mythical elements, and various lifeforms. I imagine a story in which the main character travels across a planet in search of something, encountering different species, creatures, environments, and landscapes along the journey. Through this project, I want to express the scale and richness of a vast world.

Since childhood, I have always believed in finishing what I start and seeing responsibilities through to the end. I believe that when I give my full effort, I can move forward without regrets. Even after entering the academy, I intend to fully dedicate myself to the learning process and become someone who contributes positively in both education and collaborative environments.
