Lee Mi Kyoung
"I want to study hard and build a career in the field where I can perform at my best."
I first came across SF Film School through YouTube Shorts, where I watched portfolio projects created by students. As I watched their work, I became increasingly interested and started thinking, “I want to create projects like these myself.” At the same time, I realized that I wanted to learn graphic-related skills and pursue a career in this field.
After researching different graphic academies, I decided to choose SF Film School because of its strong reputation, structured teaching methods, and the learning environment it provides.
Although I wanted to learn more about graphics, I initially had many concerns because I did not have much information or knowledge about the field. However, after receiving career guidance and consultations from the instructors, my goals became clearer and I gained more confidence. Instead of feeling uncertain, I began feeling excited and eager to start learning as soon as possible.
I also felt that the academy’s interview process would help create a positive learning atmosphere because students are carefully selected based on their motivation and commitment. Going through the first and second interviews also gave me an opportunity to think more deeply about my goals and what I truly want to achieve, which strengthened my determination to work harder.
Now that I have been accepted and have the opportunity to attend the classes I have been wanting to take, I feel excited and eager to begin. I want to complete the educational process successfully and eventually work in a field that matches both my strengths and my interests.
I will do my best to keep up, continue learning with dedication, and ask many questions along the way so that I can grow as much as possible.

"I want to create stylish and unique portfolio projects and work at a major company."
Since my major was in Digital Content with a focus on video production, I already had some familiarity with the Visual Graphic field. As my interest in this area grew, I began thinking that if I studied it seriously, I might be able to create work that stands out and develop stronger skills compared to before. That realization became the reason I decided to pursue Visual Graphics more actively.
Afterward, I searched through many blogs and reviews and eventually came across SF Film School. I had a positive impression throughout the first and second interview process because the guidance was kind and many of my questions were answered clearly. I also felt that the academy genuinely pays attention to individual students and would provide support suited to each person's learning process. In addition, I believed that even beginners with no experience could learn comfortably because of the structured teaching approach, which became another reason for my decision.
I am happy and excited to have been accepted, and that excitement also motivates me to work even harder. I want to learn with dedication, improve my skills, and create portfolio projects that are both visually impressive and reflect my own personality and style.
Ultimately, I want to build a strong portfolio that showcases who I am and use it as a stepping stone toward joining a respected and well-established company.
Since I am starting as a complete beginner, I will approach everything with the mindset of learning step by step, asking questions whenever necessary, and continuing to improve through effort and persistence.

"I will make sure that no one can surpass my dedication and effort."
Last year, I took a government-supported course related to video editing, and through that experience I was exposed to many different types of visual content. During the process, I realized how widely 3D is being used across various industries and media. As I saw more examples, I gradually developed a desire to create something of my own using 3D technology.
I was later introduced to SF Film School through a recommendation from one of its graduates. Since that graduate had created an impressive, high-quality portfolio and successfully entered the VFX industry, I already had a certain level of trust and confidence before attending the academy interview.
During the consultation process, I appreciated how clearly and kindly the instructor explained the areas I was unfamiliar with and helped guide me toward a clearer direction. After the consultation, I also felt that my personality traits matched well with the VFX field. I consider myself someone who approaches things logically and carefully, and I also tend to become highly focused when working on something I genuinely enjoy.
In addition, I believe that I naturally adapt well when working with others and can comfortably become part of a group environment. Thinking about these qualities made me feel even more strongly that I wanted to pursue the VFX field as my future path.
After being accepted, I felt both excitement and a sense of responsibility. Although I do feel some pressure, I want to use that feeling as motivation to work harder and create meaningful results.
There are still many things I need to learn, and I know I have areas where I can improve. However, even if I may currently lack experience or skills, I want my effort and dedication to be the one thing that never falls behind anyone else. I will continue working hard and strive to create projects that I can be proud of.

"I placed a staircase called SF Film School beside the high barrier standing in front of my dream."
I had been interested in CG graphics since elementary school and spent time teaching myself video editing on my own. During that period, I watched the movie Iron Man, and that experience left a strong impression on me. As soon as I saw it, I found myself thinking, “I want to create something like that,” and “I want to make visuals that feel that realistic.”
Afterward, I wanted to continue studying independently and create projects on my own, but I quickly realized that the barrier to entering the VFX field felt very high. As I continued learning by myself, I began feeling that if I kept moving in the same direction, I might end up only staying within video editing rather than pursuing what I truly wanted to do. That realization made me think seriously about finding a place where I could learn properly and build a stronger foundation.
While searching for different academies, I visited several places and attended consultations. Eventually, through recommendations and further research, I discovered SF Film School. The moment I looked into it, I felt that this could become a place where I could not only study but also work toward my future career goals.
During the consultation process, I appreciated how kindly and clearly everything was explained. I learned about the structure of the classes, possible career paths, and many aspects of the industry that I had not fully understood before. It felt like many questions and uncertainties I had were finally becoming clearer.
After completing the first and second interview process, I was very happy to receive the acceptance notice. One thing about my personality is that when I decide “This is what I want,” I commit myself completely. Once I set a goal, I focus on making plans and doing everything I can to achieve it.
I chose VFX because it is the field I truly want to pursue, and I am excited to have the opportunity to move toward that dream with SF Film School. I want to learn with dedication, continue improving myself, and create the best work I possibly can.

"Rather than focusing on seeing results in a short period of time, I will always strive to learn as thoroughly as possible."
I had been using programs such as Premiere Pro and After Effects as a hobby and initially looked into career opportunities related to video editing. However, I felt uncertain about its long-term prospects for myself. Since I had previously worked in game customer service, I naturally developed an interest in game graphics as well.
As I began exploring the field more seriously, I realized that downloading related software and learning everything independently was much more difficult than I had expected. It felt almost impossible to approach it properly through self-study alone. At the same time, I thought that if I was going to invest the effort into learning something challenging, I wanted it to become a skill I could continue developing and using for a long time. That became one of the reasons I chose this path.
While searching for academies specializing in video production and related fields, I came across SF Film School, which was preparing to open in Daegu. After looking through student portfolios, I immediately felt that this was not simply another academy but a place that provided structured and professional education. Even beyond the Daegu location itself, I could feel through the website that there was a strong educational system and serious approach behind it, which led me to inquire further.
During the process, I went through the first and second interviews, which felt somewhat similar to university entrance interviews. Through these interviews, I was able to think more deeply about what I truly wanted to learn and what I hoped to achieve in the future. The process itself helped me understand my own goals more clearly.
After going through these detailed steps and eventually being accepted, I realized that rather than rushing to create results in a short amount of time, I wanted to focus on learning properly and building a strong foundation.
To be honest, one of the reasons I hesitated to pursue the VFX field in the past was because I often thought, “There is no way I could do something like this.” That fear had kept me from taking action for a long time. However, I eventually realized that if I did not challenge myself now, I might never get another opportunity.
Because of that, I want to approach this opportunity with determination and responsibility. I will do my best to learn, continue improving, and move forward with the mindset of making every effort count.

"I want to gain extensive knowledge at SF Film School, create an impressive portfolio, strengthen my expertise, and grow into a skilled professional."
Even after graduation, I continued choosing 3D because my initial dream of creating worlds in VRChat gradually grew bigger. Many people appreciated my work and continued supporting me, which eventually motivated me to pursue video animation as my field of study. I chose SF Film School because I wanted to improve my 3D skills, strengthen my weak areas, and create an outstanding portfolio to help me work for a great company. I believed SF Film School would be the ideal place for me to improve my abilities while developing creative storytelling skills through globally recognized and successful instructors. I also thought I would be able to learn a great deal from the excellent environment and talented students in the CG and VFX fields. When I first visited SF Film School, I found it truly exciting. I saw records of many students winning competitions and successfully finding jobs after graduating. I also saw the achievements and professional backgrounds of the instructors. Seeing these things helped me understand how passionate both the teachers and students were, and it motivated me to apply for the second interview. Even though SF Film School has campuses in Seoul, Busan, and Daegu, I was impressed that all three locations maintained the same passionate learning environment. Compared to other academies, the students' work at SF Film School felt comparable to Disney-level quality with strong storytelling. During the first interview, I felt comfortable because of the welcoming atmosphere, while the second interview made me more serious because of the amount of content and preparation required. When I received the acceptance notice, I felt both happiness and gratitude at the opportunity to learn from experts in the CG and VFX industry. More than anything, I became determined to study hard and keep up with the classes, just like the students and graduates of SF Film School. Going forward, I want to make the most of the opportunities provided by the school, build a strong foundation, continue into advanced studies, and share my projects and portfolio with many people just as my instructors do. Although it is only one year, I want to gain extensive knowledge at SF Film School, create an impressive portfolio, strengthen my expertise, and grow into a skilled professional.

Kim Do Yeon
"I believe I will be able to receive professional training in the VFX field at SF Film School."
While studying Visual Design and working across various design fields, I became familiar with 3D graphics. As I created projects and assignments using only 3D programs, I gradually developed a stronger interest in VFX. Although I have done many 2D projects, I always found 3D work more enjoyable and felt that I could also perform well in video-related work. There are many programs used for creating graphics, but none of them are easy to master. As my interest in VFX grew, I researched the field and wanted to learn Maya. While searching for an academy with high-quality education and outstanding student work, I discovered SF Film School. Looking at the high-level portfolios created by SF Film School students, I felt that among all educational institutions, their portfolios had the highest quality and standards. Seeing the realistic details and advanced level of work made me feel that the school genuinely teaches students in a professional and serious manner, which is why I chose to apply to SF Film School. I liked that the interview process was conducted through written responses rather than face-to-face speaking because it allowed me to take my time and introduce myself in greater detail. Answering each question gave me an opportunity to think deeply about my future and reflect on myself, helping me realize just how much I want to challenge myself and pursue a career in VFX. After being accepted, my worries and nervousness eased, and I felt excitement and great happiness instead. Through the classes at the academy, I want to continue developing my skills, enjoy the learning process, work hard consistently, and grow into someone capable of creating an impressive portfolio.

"I believe that the harder I work, the better the results will be, so I will give it my all."
To be honest, I did not know much about the VFX field at first. I had been considering a career related to architectural drafting, but I heard that the VFX industry has strong prospects in Canada, where I currently live, and that made me interested in learning more about it. I was working in woodworking at the time, and I found satisfaction and a sense of achievement in the process of designing and creating something from my own ideas. I became interested in graphics because I felt that this field would allow me to create without limits. After returning to Korea and deciding to learn Maya, I realized that I did not know anyone around me who had majored in VFX, so I spent a lot of time researching and eventually discovered SF Film School. The student portfolios at SF Film School were extremely high in quality, and I found myself thinking, 'Could I create something like this too?' and 'I want to make work like this as well.' Looking at the curriculum, I felt that this would be the place where I could receive the most professional education and that the more effort I put in, the more support and growth I would gain. I especially remember being told that VFX is a field where the results reflect the amount of time and effort you invest. I believe that my efforts will determine my success, so I plan to work hard and give it my best. I am happy to have been accepted, and I hope that by studying diligently, I can create strong results and open good opportunities for my future.

Kim Hyung Seo
"I will do my best and work extremely hard to learn."
My first introduction to VFX began when my school started teaching Maya. When I first took a 3D class, I thought it was simply difficult and challenging, but the more I learned, the more interesting it became, and my curiosity about the field continued to grow. I started watching videos related to CG and was fascinated by how people could create things that did not exist and enhance the visual appeal of videos. Seeing that made me think, 'I want to create videos like that too.' I realized that what I was learning at school alone would not be enough if I wanted to create those kinds of works, so I decided that I needed to attend an academy. While searching for different options, I came across SF Film School and saw the high-quality portfolios on YouTube. I thought, 'What would it be like if I learned here?' and eventually decided to apply for a consultation. I was especially attracted to the fact that there were campuses in Busan, Daegu, and Seoul, which fit well with my situation. During the second interview process, I had the chance to think deeply about myself and reflect once again on my future plans and the reasons that led me to start pursuing VFX. It was a meaningful experience that strengthened my determination. After being accepted, I felt both excitement and a positive sense of pressure along with a stronger commitment to work hard. No matter what, I will do my absolute best and study with all my effort.

“I will do my best to learn without regret in the field I have chosen.”
I have drawn comics since I was young and once wanted to turn them into animations. However, I felt that the level of detail required was too high to realistically achieve full animation on my own. Later, I came across videos created using the SFM game engine, where complex elements such as weapons and accessories that are difficult to draw by hand could be easily created in 3D. Seeing this made me want to try modeling and producing videos myself, and eventually even create game cinematic videos. As I became more interested in modeling and video production, I decided to pursue a career in 3D production and began looking for a place to study it professionally.
I was introduced to SF Film School in Daegu by a friend who shares a similar career goal and had already received counseling there. I also heard that SF Film School offers a very high level of training in 3D software, so I decided to visit. At first, I was worried because I did not have much knowledge of the 3D field, but after receiving detailed explanations step by step, I felt that I could trust the program and learn properly. In addition, when I saw the students’ works, I felt that the school is well-structured, and that the instructors sincerely answer students’ questions and provide support.
Through the interview process, I was able to organize and rethink my career direction, and I thought it was a very meaningful approach. Eventually, I received the acceptance notice. Honestly, I was worried at first because I had little knowledge of 3D, but the guidance made me feel confident that I could learn here. Since this is the field I have chosen, I will study with full commitment and do my best to learn without regret.

“When it comes to achieving my goals, I will actively make use of guidance and advice and strive to reach them.”
When I was 20, I joined a video production club for the first time. At the beginning, I started creating work using Cinema 4D, but as time passed, I became more drawn to photorealistic visuals, which led me to reconsider both my tools and my career direction. After deciding to pursue VFX, I began looking for a specialized academy and came across SF Film School through student portfolios on YouTube.
The works created by SF Film School students showed both high quality and variety, and I was impressed by the strong sense of professionalism and experience reflected in their environment. My first impression of the school was that, compared to other academies, the students’ diverse projects gave it a much more industry-focused and professional feel. I also liked the idea that students with similar interests and goals learn together through the interview process.
After being accepted, I became even more determined to work harder. Since I have a clear timeframe for my career goals, I plan to actively participate in classes and continuously ask instructors questions to build a strong portfolio. I will fully utilize the guidance and advice provided to me and do my best to achieve my goals.

“I will master a wide range of VFX tools and become a generalist recognized in the VFX industry.”
Since childhood, I have enjoyed watching science fiction films. What captivated me was not only the story or characters, but the visually striking graphics, mechanical movements of ships and robots, and the realism of things that do not exist in reality. That fascination naturally developed into a growing interest in the field of graphics, and eventually became a clear conviction that I would be happiest working in this field, which led me to choose a career in VFX.
While searching for a VFX academy, I came across the SF Film School website. The students’ portfolios and award records stood out compared to other academies, both in quality and reputation. At a time when I was tired of overly promotional and unreliable information online, I felt that I had finally found a trustworthy place, which led me to apply for counseling immediately.
The interview process itself felt more like an official selection process compared to other academies, which gave me confidence that the school selects its students carefully and operates in a structured way. After going through the interview and being accepted, I felt extremely happy and even became determined to rank first in my class.
My goal is to become proficient in various VFX tools and ultimately be recognized in the industry through both employment and professional work. I am determined to succeed in the VFX field, and I will do my best to keep up and grow continuously.

“Once I make a choice, I will see it through to the end. I will accomplish something, even in unexpected ways.”
Among friends who were interested in idols, actors, and real-world celebrities, I was somewhat unique in that I was more drawn to imaginary worlds and storytelling rather than reality. Naturally, I became interested in the field of visual graphics, and after encountering Blender, I realized there was a more specialized area within this field. However, since I had already prepared an entirely different academic record, I ended up entering university in an unrelated major.
While attending university, I gradually became more interested in creating tangible creative outputs. Eventually, I decided to pursue visual graphics as a way to develop skills where I could directly experience and see the results of my work.
I searched for CG academies, focusing on schools located in Daegu with publicly visible portfolios and results, and that is how I came to learn about SF Film School. As a cautious person, I initially examined many aspects and reviews in detail, but I ultimately felt that if I followed the curriculum and worked diligently, it would be a place I could trust and learn from.
Since I was new to this field, I lacked information in many areas, but the consultation was detailed and friendly, which made the experience enjoyable. I also felt that the 1st and 2nd interview process was an efficient way to assess students and create a more tailored learning environment.
I tend to take some time when learning something for the first time, but once I become familiar with it, I am able to make good use of it. Most importantly, I have always worked hard and taken on various challenges, and I intend to do the same this time as well.
I look forward to working with you.

Sung Hyun Woo
"I will create videos that capture people’s attention and immerse them in an engaging experience."
I first became aware of the field of visual graphics after unexpectedly watching the title sequence “SKY FALL” by 3D artist Kim Geu-ryun, which led me to start learning 3D motion graphics. While searching for references, I was exposed to various game cinematic works such as Arcane, Lost Ark, and League of Legends. I was deeply impressed by their realistic atmosphere, lifelike characters and assets, and dynamic motion, and I enjoyed watching them immensely.
From that experience, I developed a goal of creating cinematic videos that can capture viewers’ attention and immerse them in engaging visual experiences, which eventually led me to search for a Maya-focused academy.
During the 1st and 2nd interview process at SF Film School, I came to think that forming classes with students who share similar values and goals is beneficial for both the school and the students. I also felt that this interview method builds trust in the academy and is an appropriate system.
Although I was initially worried because I did not have a design background or any experience with Maya, I was very happy to receive the acceptance email and to be given the opportunity to attend the school I had wanted. With that acceptance, I also felt a strong sense of responsibility to work extremely hard.
I plan to learn more diligently than anyone else, continuously improve my skills, and refine my abilities so that I can eventually be hired by a well-known studio. I would also appreciate direct and critical feedback. I look forward to working with you.

Kim Min Seo
“I am truly excited about what I will learn at SF Film School, and I will continue striving forward.”
When I was in elementary school, my interest in visual graphics was fairly simple—I just thought, “It would be nice to work on movie graphics and see my name appear in the ending credits someday.” During middle school, however, I considered pursuing illustration and art-related fields instead, since I felt they were areas I could already do and had some talent in.
By the time I reached high school, many of the science fiction and fantasy films I loved and dreamed about were not performing well commercially. At the same time, concepts such as the metaverse began gaining popularity, public perception toward games gradually shifted, accessibility improved, and technology-driven futures started receiving more attention. This naturally redirected my interest toward those fields.
During my first year last year, I had the opportunity to gain a variety of experiences, such as creating videos using 3D objects and block coding, developing a simple RPG game in Python by adding interfaces and functions, participating in VR simulation projects through Unity, and attending Maya mentoring classes. Through these experiences, my long-standing interest in graphics-related work gradually came back to life.
Since this had always been a dream I carried somewhere in my heart since childhood, I felt that if I ignored the opportunity and support given to me now, I would regret it. That realization led me to choose the VFX field.
I have not even fully started yet, and I understand that once I actually step into this field, it may be different from what I imagined. It might disappoint me, or it might motivate me even more. Regardless of which it is, once I make a decision, I cannot simply leave it unfinished. I feel compelled to experience it for myself and see it through.
I also learned from a professor that a senior they knew had attended SF Film School. Among many academies, SF Film School seemed to be one of the most well-known in the VFX field and had many visible results and achievements, which is why I chose it.
Its scale and environment were even more impressive than I expected—almost overwhelming. It did not feel like empty promotional words meant only to attract students, and I became genuinely excited about the opportunities and education available there.
When I first went for consultation, I did hesitate because of the scale and cost, but once I decided to commit, I felt at ease because my mindset had already become: if I start something, I will see it through to the end.
I will continue working hard to reach the level I aspire to and become a professional. Since I have chosen this path, I want to keep moving forward without wavering. I will continue striving and improving.

Kim Min Jeong
“I want to create work that goes beyond a portfolio and wins international competitions.”
Although I majored in sculpture, I have always had a strong interest in video-based creative work. I also currently have experience working with a film crew, where I have been involved in directing, art production, and basic filming. For a long time, I have wanted to create visual works that integrate digital graphic technologies.
I have primarily worked with anatomy studies, modeling, and various 3D programs, and I also studied C programming in order to expand my ability to create the ideas I envisioned. In the case of Unity, I was able to solve basic issues and errors by researching and learning independently, but I found it difficult to deal with more advanced problems. Through this process, I realized that I needed a deeper understanding not only of creating three-dimensional work, but also of coding and technical systems.
I had been learning and creating independently for a long time, but eventually I felt limitations in strengthening my fundamentals on my own. While searching for an academy, I was introduced to SF Film School through a friend’s recommendation. After visiting and receiving counseling, I felt that it provided exactly the elements I needed at this point in my journey, which is why I chose SF Film School.
I want to build a strong foundation and create work capable of winning global competitions. I want to create projects that go beyond being simply a portfolio.

Na Yul
“I want to learn the medium where reality and imagination meet, and learn how to create impressive results through creative ideas.”
When I was in the second year of middle school, I saw a fashion collage in a fashion magazine and thought that I wanted to create something like that myself. Because of that interest, I earned a Photoshop certification and have since enjoyed creating fashion collages, photo posters, and movie posters as a hobby.
As I continued creating these works, I began to think that using 3D tools would allow for even broader and more diverse forms of expression. This led me to take Blender courses. While modeling buildings, streetlights, roads, and other elements in Blender, I started imagining, “What if the things I create and imagine myself appeared in movies or dramas?” Through this process, I developed an interest in the VFX field and decided to pursue it as my career path.
I also came across student portfolios on SF Film School’s YouTube channel and felt that I would be able to experience both professional education and the process of creating highly creative results. That was one of the main reasons I decided to choose SF Film School.
I consider myself someone who gets along well with others and values listening to and accepting different perspectives. I also enjoy achieving goals through communication and collaboration with teammates. Since the CG industry relies heavily on teamwork, I believe it is important to communicate effectively and collaborate with people who have different backgrounds and personalities, and I am continuously trying to strengthen those abilities.
I want to dedicate my time to learning the medium where reality and imagination meet, while expanding creative ideas and learning how to create impressive and meaningful work.

Shin Su Bin
“I decided to pursue VFX, the art of creating something from nothing, together with SF Film School.”
My serious interest in the 3D field began when I started double majoring in furniture design and learned the Rhino program through self-study. Although it is quite different from VFX, I found the process of creating something from nothing in a virtual space and building an object with my own hands extremely fascinating.
At first, I only intended to learn Rhino as preparation for one of the 3D tools required for my double major. However, I ended up enjoying it much more than I expected. After finishing my Rhino studies, I began seriously learning Blender on my own, and through that process I discovered the field of visual graphics.
While learning Blender, I discovered that Maya and 3ds Max are commonly used in the industry. This led me to think, “Maybe I can actually do this too,” and “Could I become a creator and make the fantasy animations, films, K-pop music videos, and games that I love?” With those thoughts in mind, I decided to take a leave of absence from school and commit myself to learning this field more seriously.
While searching for an academy, I came across SF Film School through an internet search. Since I knew I would need to attend classes for a long period of time, the first factor I considered was location and convenience. Seeing that they had a Gangnam campus with good transportation access encouraged me to arrange an in-person consultation.
My first impression through the website was that SF Film School was a very large institution with multiple branches. I was impressed by its numerous awards and internal competitions, but at the same time I had concerns that because of its size, it might be difficult to adapt or receive focused guidance.
However, after the consultation, my perspective changed. The detailed explanations regarding industry work, employment opportunities, portfolio development processes, and the differences between SF Film School and other academies left a strong impression on me. I was also drawn to the fact that classes are conducted through small cohort-based groups rather than large-scale lectures. These aspects became the reasons I ultimately chose SF Film School.
Another important factor was my interest in overseas employment opportunities, and I found it appealing that the school has successfully guided many students toward careers abroad.
While writing my second interview materials, I had the chance to reflect once again on what I truly wanted to learn from the academy and to strengthen my determination. I felt that it was a meaningful and valuable process.
After being accepted, everything I need to learn has started to feel more real, and I now feel both excitement and nervousness. I will study sincerely and work hard to make this journey meaningful and worthwhile.

"I will continue creating great work at SF Film School without giving up and with consistent effort."
Whenever I watched movies, I became increasingly fascinated by how the sense of grandeur, mystery, and spectacle was created through CG and VFX effects. I had already enjoyed working with 2D motion graphics and video editing, and over time I developed a strong desire to learn 3D as well, which ultimately led me to choose this field.
As I visited several academies, I felt that many of them covered too many different subjects without providing specialized education for the specific field I wanted to pursue. Rather than helping students truly understand the concepts, many classes felt more like step-by-step repetition. Because of that, I began searching for an academy specializing in Maya and eventually discovered SF Film School.
Unlike other academies, SF Film School caught my attention because it focused on Maya and provided an educational structure that allowed students to build a strong foundation and progress into advanced courses. I was also very impressed by the systematic curriculum on the website and the small-group educational environment.
I was surprised to learn about the first and second interview process, but I thought it was a very effective system. Other academies often had large classes, making it difficult to receive individual attention or help with missed concepts. In contrast, SF Film School selects students through interviews and teaches in smaller groups, which made me feel that the learning environment would be much more positive and beneficial.
Through the interview process, I was reminded once again that I have always been someone who does not give up easily and consistently sees things through to the end. Since I had no prior experience with 3D, I was extremely nervous and worried that I might not be accepted. However, receiving the acceptance notice made me incredibly happy, and now I feel excited imagining the projects I will be able to create in the future.
I will continue to work hard with consistency and create amazing projects.

Jin Mi Ju
"I will do my best and work hard to become a skilled artist."
Watching movies and animations has always been my biggest hobby—to the point where I could say it is my only real hobby. While thinking about my future career path, I often looked into the companies behind the works I loved. During that process, I discovered professions such as VFX artists and animators. The idea of creating with my own hands the kinds of things I had always enjoyed inspired me deeply, and I became certain that I wanted to learn and work in the VFX field.
I have always wanted to turn something I truly enjoy into my career, and I felt confident that VFX was a field where I could work passionately and wholeheartedly. After that, I started searching for ways to learn VFX and eventually discovered SF Film School.
After carefully reading through SF Film School’s website and watching the works created by its graduates and students on YouTube, I realized how outstanding their skills were. Among many VFX academies, SF Film School felt like the most trustworthy choice. I believed that if I studied here, I could truly become a skilled artist, and I strongly felt that I wanted to learn in this environment. With that in mind, I applied for a consultation and attended the first interview.
After the consultation, I received a simple introduction to SF Film School and had the opportunity to tour the facilities. This experience made me want to study here even more and strengthened my trust in the school. Additionally, the first and second interview process felt unique and interesting because it was something I had never experienced with other academies before.
In particular, the questions in the second interview increased my trust in the school even further. For example, I believe that teamwork requires people to have a certain level of ambition and motivation to achieve better results together. I thought that selecting students through this kind of process would naturally create a hardworking and positive learning environment. Thinking about being surrounded by people who share the same passion already makes me excited for the classes.
When I first applied to SF Film School, I only had a dream and a vague aspiration. But now, it feels like I am already taking a step closer toward that dream, which makes me both excited and happy.
As an accepted student, I will continue to work hard and do my best to become a skilled artist and successfully achieve my goal of employment as well. Fighting!
