Jeong Seo Hyun
"Since VFX is a completely new field for me, I will do my best to learn and improve."
I have always enjoyed playing games, and I was especially impressed by the graphics of Cyberpunk 2077. I remember thinking, "How are such realistic environments and characters created?" After that, through short-form content on platforms like Instagram, I became interested in how visually impressive games are made. As I experienced various works, I developed a deeper curiosity beyond simply admiring them and wanted to understand more and create something myself, which led me to search for an academy. Since I had never studied VFX before, I believed that building a strong foundation would greatly help improve my skills, and while researching institutions I came across SF Film School. One reason I came to trust SF Film School was that it ranked first at the Rookie Awards, where CG schools around the world compete, and consistently produces excellent graduates every year. When I first visited SF Film School, I could immediately sense its scale through the large building and the number of classrooms. I was especially impressed by the students preparing their portfolios. Seeing students fully focused on their work motivated me to strengthen my own determination as well. I also appreciated the detailed and diverse interview process because it gave me another opportunity to think carefully about the path I want to pursue and reflect on myself. I also believe that studying with students who are working toward similar goals can be a strong source of motivation. I tend to deeply explore subjects that interest me out of curiosity and a desire to understand things I do not know. My current interest in VFX developed from simply appreciating works to actually enrolling at SF Film School. In this way, my curiosity has allowed me to take action and follow through with my interests. I believe these qualities will certainly help me greatly in studying the VFX field.
Pyun Ji Young
"I will maintain my own pace, study diligently step by step, and do my best to learn."
Since high school, I pursued studies related to film and media, so I naturally spent a lot of time watching videos and movies. Whenever I found a movie I liked, I would search for behind-the-scenes videos on YouTube and became interested in seeing the atmosphere of the production process. I found it fascinating that many scenes I had previously overlooked were actually created using CG, which led me to choose VFX. Later, I became interested in film compositing, and while searching online, I remembered the academies recommended by a senior colleague I had met at my previous workplace, so I decided to look into them. On SF Film School’s website, the curriculum was explained in great detail, and the quality of students’ work as well as the scale of the academy gave me confidence and led me to attend a consultation. As I was introduced to each floor of the academy, seeing the many students and equipment further reassured me that it would be the right place for me. During the first and second interviews, I received detailed explanations about the academy, and when I talked about my career goals, I was given helpful information about what skills are actually needed in the industry. I also appreciated being guided through each floor because it allowed me to personally experience the overall atmosphere of the academy. When I applied, I felt incredibly excited because I thought I would finally be able to learn what I had truly wanted to do. Although I felt nervous during the interview because the office atmosphere seemed serious at first, the explanations were delivered in a comfortable and welcoming way, which gave me a very positive impression of the academy. As someone who has been accepted, I want to continue carrying the same passion I have now throughout the next six months and work hard consistently. Going forward, I hope not to compare myself with others but instead maintain my own pace and learn each step carefully without becoming impatient. Although I feel nervous because this is something completely new to me, I will ask many questions, study hard, and do my very best.
Park Su Hyun
"I will become a CG professional and earn one of the team leader positions at Dexter."
While attending an academy to prepare for visual design and art school entrance exams, I had always carried a thought deep inside that I wanted to work in the gaming industry. However, life at art school turned out to be different from what I had expected, and I found myself feeling lost for a while. During that time, I came across videos using VR technology and gradually became interested in 3D. As my interest grew, I naturally found myself wondering while watching movies, "How do they create CG that looks so realistic?" After becoming certain about my dream, I started searching for an academy that would suit me and eventually discovered SF Film School. When I saw the works created by SF Film School graduates, I immediately felt, "Ah... this is the place..!" I also liked the interview-based selection process because it made me think more seriously about my goals and aspirations. Most importantly, I felt that grouping students with people who match well with them through interviews was a valuable advantage. While attending the consultation, I looked around the atmosphere and classrooms within the academy, and I felt excited because it seemed like I would be able to receive training that closely resembled real industry work. When I finally received the acceptance message, I felt even happier than when I was accepted into university. I want to prove that the words I wrote during my first interview were not just empty confidence. Since this is my first time learning 3D, I may be slow and somewhat inexperienced in the learning process. I become even more motivated when I receive encouragement that tells me I can do it rather than criticism. Please help me continue giving my best until the very end. I will work hard and learn with all my effort from beginning to end.
Lee Ji Seob
"Even if my progress is slow, I will carefully improve and continue growing through feedback."
While exploring my interest in the advertising field, I learned about motion graphics. As I researched further, I became increasingly interested in 3D graphics and animation production, which ultimately led me to decide to become a 3D artist. While searching for academies related to 3D, I came across SF Film School. My first impression through the website was that it felt more professional than other institutions. After seeing its various awards, facilities, and professional equipment, I felt that the school genuinely put significant effort into creating a better environment for students. Finding a detailed curriculum and a community where students could communicate with each other made me even more certain about my decision. During the interview process, I had the opportunity to explain how much I knew about 3D and share more about myself. I felt that this system could not only help the instructors understand students better but also be beneficial for the applicants themselves. As someone without a related academic background, I was worried about adapting to this field. However, after receiving the acceptance notice, I found myself thinking less about worries and more about working hard. I will do my best not to fall behind during the training process. I have a personality that wants to learn without missing even the smallest details, so if I receive honest guidance and feedback in the future, I will continue improving based on it. My goal is to work hard, develop my skills, and eventually build a career in an advertising company or game company.
Jeong Yun Hee
"I want to create a truly high-quality portfolio."
Through a double major class at school, I was introduced to environment design for the first time using Unreal Engine. I became fascinated and interested by the idea that I could create and build my own space in 3D. After graduating, my interest in environment design gradually grew, and I began to think seriously about pursuing this field. While searching online for academies where I could learn environment design, I came across SF Film School through online recommendations and advertisements. I felt that the school paid close attention to each student individually and that I would be able to create a high-quality portfolio there. The environment design curriculum, the small-group class format with a homeroom instructor, and seminars and special lectures by industry professionals stood out as major strengths of SF Film School. I also appreciated the detailed explanations during the first interview and the opportunity during the second interview to write specifically about my thoughts and goals. To be honest, even after applying to SF Film School, I spent a lot of time thinking about my decision because I was worried about starting a completely new field after graduation. However, when I thought about it as learning skills that I could use throughout my life, I realized that the time I had spent considering and consulting about it was relatively short, which helped me make up my mind. I truly want to create a high-quality portfolio. Since I have never used these programs before, my understanding may be slow at first. Even so, I will work hard and keep up with the process. My goal is to work hard, create my own assets, design and build 3D environments, and eventually find employment at a game company.
Kim Woong Jin
"I am excited about the opportunity to create richer expression and direction through the combination of video production and VFX."
I am currently working in video filming and editing. I mainly work on smaller-scale projects, and because I genuinely enjoy video production, I have been doing it for around eight years. While working on many projects in the past, I formed a TF team and participated in planning, filming, editing, and color work for music video productions involving artists such as Double K, Yang Da-il, Cardi B, and indie artists. While directing projects, I often thought that using 3D technology could create even richer visual expression and storytelling. I had this interest for a long time, but I continued to think about it without taking action, and a lot of time passed. Recently, after seeing how much technology has advanced and become more accessible than before, I realized that I should start learning before it became too late. As I became interested in VFX, I naturally learned about SF Film School. One of the reasons I chose SF Film School was because of its credible achievements, such as its global rankings, high-quality portfolios, international awards, and detailed consultation process, which made me believe I could learn exactly what I needed. I also strongly felt that the atmosphere was more like a professional school rather than a typical academy. I am very excited about the opportunity to learn VFX and combine it with the video production work I have already been doing in order to create richer and more expressive content.
Kim Ye Ju
"I felt that I could clearly envision the future I want for myself."
Since I was young, I naturally developed an interest in 3D after repeatedly watching movies. I especially love Big Hero 6, and I was fascinated by how the robot's movements were so smooth that they felt almost human, as well as how the unique atmosphere and city environments were created in 3D. As my interest in 3D grew, I naturally learned about SF Film School. I was very impressed by the quality of the academy’s portfolios, and I could feel the passion of the students. Since I have a personality that always accomplishes whatever I set my mind to, I immediately applied for a consultation with SF Film School. As a beginner without a direct background in this field, despite majoring in visual design, I felt that the curriculum was very beginner-friendly and suitable for someone like me. Through this, I felt that I could clearly envision the future I want for myself. After registering and going through the detailed interview process, I was truly happy to receive the acceptance notice, and at the same time, it became another opportunity for me to strengthen my determination toward 3D. I am the type of person who will do whatever it takes to achieve the goals I set for myself. I will develop the skills that make others seek me out first.
Yun Hyun Jin
"I will improve my skills and create the things I want to create."
I became interested in video editing, which led me to major in Multimedia. During that process, I learned various things and gradually developed a strong interest in 3D. While preparing for my graduation project and attending an academy, I realized that I genuinely enjoy working with 3D. During my graduation project, I learned 3D at another academy, but rather than providing professional-level education, it mainly focused on introducing basic tools and methods. Because of that, I was not able to gain enough experience or learn the techniques I was truly curious about. As I continued exploring and learning about 3D on my own, I felt that Maya was more suitable for the work I wanted to pursue than Cinema 4D, which I had learned first. While studying Maya independently, I came across the work created by SF Film School students and saw that they were producing work at the level I wanted to achieve. I chose SF Film School because I felt it would provide professional guidance and allow me to learn many things. I also strongly felt that it was an academy established specifically for the VFX field. I believed that I would be able to learn a lot at SF Film School, so when I found out I had been accepted, I was extremely happy. I am not usually good at asking questions, but I feel that I will be able to ask more questions here, so I would really appreciate being taught and guided as much as possible. I will study sincerely for my dream and improve my abilities so that I can create the things I truly want to make.
Chae Woo Sung
"I will do my best so that this can become an opportunity for us to learn and grow together..."
Since I was young, I have been studying and learning video editing, and while learning motion graphics as a field of design, I naturally began studying Cinema 4D as well. I felt that 3D suited me more than design or 2D graphics. Through working on film projects, shooting environments, and post-production both at school and externally, I had opportunities to try CG work with the knowledge I had, and that experience made me certain that I wanted to pursue a career in this field. Since I was young, I had only studied through self-learning, and I began to feel that this method was becoming more of a limitation than a way to become more professional. Because of my desire to study in a more structured and professional way, I started searching for academies and eventually discovered SF Film School. Through consultations, I felt that SF Film School was not simply a place that teaches software, but rather a place where students learn knowledge and understanding about the field itself. I was especially interested in how the curriculum on the website was divided not into categories like 'Maya Basic Course' or 'Maya Advanced Course,' but instead into industry-standard areas such as 'Lighting' and 'Compositing.' When I was accepted through the selection process, I felt both nervous and excited. Since I will be studying with students who come from different backgrounds, I plan to do my best so that we can learn from each other and create opportunities to grow together. I am someone who wants to learn many things and create great visual content. I will do my very best.
Lee Ga Eun
"I want to become someone who can express my values through videos and creative works."
Since high school, I had a vague interest in VFX, Maya, and graphic-related work. However, my desire to pursue film directing was stronger, which led me to major in Media Studies. I entered university with the goal of becoming a film director, but while creating various videos through the campus broadcasting station, I began to realize that my thoughts and feelings about my path were somewhat different from what I had expected. After spending a long time thinking and gaining experience, I realized that I was more interested in constructing and creating visual scenes than in telling stories themselves. During the time I was considering VFX in the past, I came across SF Film School. I felt that SF Film School had a detailed curriculum with clear goals. In addition, during the second interview, I had the opportunity to discuss career-related topics, which gave me the impression that it was an institution focused on professionally training students. After going through two rounds of interviews, receiving detailed guidance, and researching on my own, becoming an accepted student made me feel that I should study in a way that I would not be ashamed of myself. In the past, I gave up while studying for an English exam, and that decision still remains as a regret. I want to use that experience as a lesson so that even if studying becomes difficult or I feel uncertain about the future for a moment, I can continue believing in myself and challenge myself consistently. I want to continue studying so that I can express my own values through the videos and creative works that I create.
Kang Ha Eun
"I believe I have been given an opportunity to take one step closer to my dream."
I became interested in CG after seeing the media art installation 'Wave' at COEX. Later, I came across a short YouTube video showing how a scene from Frozen was created. Watching the production process and learning how scenes were made sparked my interest in the field of 3D animation. After that, I watched videos about the production processes of other animations and behind-the-scenes footage of film production. Through these, I realized that 3D animation is the result of careful work and long-term effort. Since I enjoy activities that require patience and dedication, I felt that this field suited my personality and strengths, which made me want to pursue a career in 3D animation. I had already decided to study abroad in Canada with the goal of becoming a 3D animator, and I thought learning the necessary programs beforehand would be helpful. While searching for academies where I could learn Maya, one of the essential programs for 3D animation, I came across students' work on YouTube. After seeing the high-quality work created by SF Film School students, I thought to myself that I also wanted to create work like that. In addition, after seeing the facilities through the website, I felt that they would be very helpful later when working in a real professional environment, which led me to visit SF Film School. Through the first interview, I was able to understand how SF Film School differs from other academies, and after touring the facilities, my desire to study there grew even stronger. I also thought that when passionate students with clear goals gather together, they can help and inspire one another, creating a positive environment. Because of that, I felt that selecting students through the first and second interview process was also a strong system. When I finally received the acceptance news, I was truly happy, and I felt that I had been given an opportunity to take a step closer to my dream of working overseas, which I had held for several years. At SF Film School, I will devote myself fully to my studies, and even when I fall behind, I will do my best not to give up and continue moving forward. By learning from the students around me, I will strive not only to take one step forward but to keep progressing even further.
Kim Yun Ah
"I want to grow into a person who has the confidence to do anything well."
Since middle and high school, I had always been interested in music videos with visual effects and fantasy-based dramas and films, and somewhere in my mind I often thought, "I want to participate in creating works like that." However, since I did not have anyone around me who specialized in the field or worked in the industry, and because it felt like a highly specialized area, I found it difficult to approach and eventually gave up on the idea. Later, while preparing for my graduation exhibition, I taught myself a 3D tool called Cinema 4D for about three months and created my own project. During that process, my interest in 3D work grew significantly. After carefully considering career paths related to this interest, I eventually returned to my original passion and decided to pursue VFX, where I could combine 3D work with video production. Afterward, I began researching academies online and eventually discovered SF Film School. Among all the academies I looked into, SF Film School provided the most detailed explanations about the software being used, while also clearly presenting students’ work, which led me to apply for a consultation. When I visited the academy in person for the consultation, my first impression was that the professionalism I had felt through the website was reflected in reality as well, which made me want to learn there even more. During the consultation, I appreciated the detailed explanations regarding the questions I had, as well as being shown the classrooms where I would study and the practice spaces where I would work if I enrolled. I have not yet met the students I will be studying with, so I am not sure how the second interview process was reflected in the selection. However, based on the explanation I received, I liked the idea that students are grouped with others who have similar goals and directions. Even after my graduation exhibition ended, I spent several months seriously thinking about which path I should pursue because I felt uncertain about my future. Since I finally arrived here after such deep consideration, I want to gain as much knowledge and experience as possible. Therefore, I want to absorb the knowledge and skills that I am taught, learn how to use them effectively, and grow into a person who has the confidence to do anything well.
Kim Min Kyoung
"I believe this is the first step toward becoming a skilled artist."
I majored in Art and Design, which allowed me to take a wide range of courses rather than focusing on a single specialized field. I also had experience taking classes related to 3D work using programs such as Cinema 4D and Unreal Engine. At the time, the process of working on projects was challenging, but the sense of accomplishment after completing them and the experience of bringing the images from my imagination into reality and seeing them with my own eyes felt both exciting and fascinating. Because of that experience, I decided to pursue a field related to CG. When I took a character design course, I used an iPad application called Nomad Sculpt, which is similar to ZBrush, to design characters. I found that process enjoyable and refreshing as well. I first learned about SF Film School through a school event, and before making a consultation appointment, I looked at the quality of the work created by students and thought it was extremely impressive. I liked being able to feel the detailed craftsmanship and passion of the students through each individual project. I felt that SF Film School would allow me to grow in many different areas without limitations, and I wanted to learn there, which led me to choose the school. During the first and second interviews, I appreciated having the opportunity to introduce myself and let others understand who I am in advance. I felt that conducting both interviews was a good approach because it helps satisfy the needs of both sides. When I received the acceptance notice, I felt excited because it seemed like I was taking a step closer toward my future. At the same time, I also felt some concern and wondered whether this field would truly suit me. Although I enjoy learning new things, I also felt a lot of uncertainty. I want to enjoy the learning process even more as I continue studying, and I hope to learn many things in order to become a skilled artist in various fields in the future.
Son Ju Won
"SF Film School will be a place that gives me great support in taking my first step toward building an exciting future."
In order to further develop my major in special makeup effects, I became interested in 3D modeling and started searching for academies where I could learn more, which eventually led me to SF Film School. When I first looked through the website, the quality and overall feel of the students’ portfolios stood out compared to other academies, and I found myself completely drawn in. Naturally, I also became more interested in CG. Without much hesitation, I contacted the school before even considering the first interview and explained that I was overwhelmed because there were so many different CG fields that I did not know where to start. I appreciated how they immediately helped guide me toward understanding VFX more clearly. The moment I visited the academy for consultation, I immediately thought, "I need to study here," without even having to think twice. Unlike many other academies, I really liked that Maya and ZBrush could both be learned together. During the consultation, I also learned that the teaching methods closely reflected real industry workflows, which greatly increased my trust in the academy and led me to choose it without hesitation. The interview changed my thinking from "I want to study here" to "I have to study here." During the second interview, I appreciated having the opportunity to explain myself in greater detail and describe exactly what kind of person I am. I consider myself to be curious and active, someone who takes on new challenges without fear. Whenever there is something I want to know or accomplish, I can work through it independently as well. I also believe that my adaptability and ability to connect with others are strengths of mine. In addition, my strongest quality is being able to quickly assess situations and find solutions to problems. Although there are times when my enthusiasm gets ahead of me and I take on too many things at once without finishing them properly, I believe SF Film School will become a major source of support in taking my first step toward creating an exciting future. I feel truly happy and honored to become a part of this group. Even when difficult moments come, I believe that if I continue working diligently with the mindset that I will overcome them, there is nothing I cannot achieve. I will approach this experience with the mindset of taking my very first steps and learn each part with dedication and effort.
Lee Su Bin
"Since I am starting completely from the beginning, I may not be able to keep up easily, but I will do my best to learn."
I have enjoyed watching movies since I was young. My curiosity about the special effects in films and the way creatures that do not exist in reality were expressed and animated led me to search for how such effects were created, which eventually introduced me to visual graphics. As a result, since high school I naturally continued thinking about working in a field related to visual graphics. After entering university, I took design courses and, although they focused on 2D work, I had opportunities to take classes related to video production and create projects. As I enjoyed the process more and more, my interest in 3D grew even stronger, which led me to firmly decide on this career path. I learned about SF Film School through online research and compared many different academies. Compared with other institutions, I found the first and second interview process unique, and I thought it was a good system because it creates an environment where people with strong passion for learning are selected and can study together in a positive atmosphere. I also felt that the quality of the students’ work was much higher. Through the first career consultation, I learned that students are grouped according to more specific interests and can study with others who share similar goals. I also liked the fact that there are special lectures every Friday and that the school provides chroma key facilities where students can directly film and apply their skills. These aspects made me believe that I could receive a much more professional and high-quality education compared to other academies, which is why I chose SF Film School. My first impression was that it felt very professional and well-structured. I felt that studying here could make it possible for me to eventually work at the place I want to be. The interview process itself was meaningful because it gave me an opportunity to remind myself of my passion for learning from the moment I applied. I was happy to receive the acceptance notice and excited that I would be studying alongside people who are equally motivated. Since I was admitted after going through several interviews, I intend to study with dedication and give my best effort. I believe one of my strengths is having a challenging spirit. Once I decide that I want to do something, I cannot feel satisfied until I actually do it, and because I want to achieve good results in the things I begin, I never approach them carelessly. Although I tend to compare myself with others, which can be a weakness, I sometimes feel stressed when I think I am falling behind others in my work, and the pressure from that can become difficult for me. However, I believe that I have grown because of those experiences. Since I am starting completely from the beginning, I may not be able to keep up easily, but I will do my best to learn.
Jung Hye In
"I am already so excited and thrilled at the thought of it that I find myself eagerly counting down the days until my classes begin."
Originally, I was interested in learning 3D because I believed it would complement my current job as a 2D graphic designer. Then, with the recent sudden rise of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the metaverse, and virtual worlds, along with the emergence of virtual media as a new medium, my personal interest and curiosity grew significantly.
One day, I happened to see someone creating a figure using Maya, and I was amazed by how broad the applications of 3D programs actually are. I realized that if I work on various projects, I’ll be able to produce much higher-quality results. It felt like a perfect win-win situation.
Above all, since it aligns with my hobbies of watching animation and virtual broadcasts, I believe I’ll truly enjoy the process and be able to study with genuine passion and consistency for a long time. That’s what ultimately led me to make this decision.
After seriously committing to learning 3D in depth, I searched for modeling and rigging courses and discovered SF Film School. During my first consultation, I was deeply impressed by the overall atmosphere of the academy. From the counselor to the entire staff, everything felt highly systematic and professional. I could sense that the instructors possess not only strong theoretical knowledge but also practical, real-world expertise, and that this is a place where people who truly love this field gather.
The fact that I could even try a simple hands-on experience with motion capture equipment was exciting. Most of all, I was drawn to the small class sizes where lessons are tailored to each student’s individual goals, and the thoughtful curriculum that carefully assesses the current level of beginners. This level of care gave me far more confidence compared to other academies.
As a complete beginner, I am planning to dedicate up to 2–3 years to studying. My goal afterward is to work in the 3D industry, particularly in virtual production and character modeling.
I believe learning has no end. Especially in today’s world, where trends change so rapidly and new multidimensional concepts continue to emerge, the fields of design and 3D will keep expanding infinitely. I want to become someone who continuously grows and learns while increasing my own value.
I’m not learning new skills just to show others — the process of expanding my knowledge itself brings me great joy. Whatever form it takes, it benefits me, raises my personal value, and gives me a deep sense of pride and fulfillment.
Even though I haven’t started the actual classes yet, I’m already incredibly excited and looking forward to it. I can’t wait for the day I begin my studies.
Jung Seo Hyun
"I will carry the mindset of becoming the best in this field."
I have always wanted to become the top in this industry and a true expert more than anyone else. I believed that only then could I create the kind of videos I truly love. However, knowing how high and difficult the path was made me envious of those already working in the field.
In fact, one of the reasons I switched to art and design was because I wanted to major in Video Design. Even during school classes, visual graphics and CG were topics I frequently encountered. Whenever I felt determined to start studying CG and video-related work, the first person who came to mind was my uncle, who had experienced the entire production process.
I wanted to work in this field just like my uncle, and I consider him my role model who guided me even more toward this path. My uncle made a name for himself doing CG work on major Korean films such as Along with the Gods, Space Sweepers, and Parasite, which were also released on Netflix. He personally recommended SF Film School, saying it was different from other academies. After watching videos, looking at photos, and reading the content on the website, I also felt it was truly professional.
Having experienced entrance exam art academies where many students attend large classes, I believe that a small-class system with dedicated mentors and one-on-one guidance will allow for much more detailed teaching. I think it’s an environment where I can receive better feedback.
Now that I’ve been accepted, I feel even more strongly that I must work harder from now on. Whether before or after starting classes, I will not become complacent just because I passed the admission. I don’t want to show any attitude of neglecting classes or homework. Instead, I want to demonstrate consistent hard work and dedication.
I will attend with the firm mindset of becoming the best.
A small spark may seem unnecessary from the outside, but I want to become that spark — the one that lights up at the right moment, whether it’s starting the first step or moving forward together. I want to be a source of hope for others. I hope we can all challenge ourselves together and achieve our dreams.
Kim Su Bin
"I will work hard so that these days do not remain as a regret."
Since middle and high school, I have been interested in video editing and have loved movie direction and animation films. While planning my career path more specifically after entering university, I realized that I wanted to become an expert in video editing — something I had been curious about for a long time. Starting from that realization, I received various career consultations and set my goal to work in the Visual Graphics field.
I began researching academies where I could learn these skills. At that time, I learned that one of my parents’ acquaintances’ children had graduated from SF Film School and was now working in the CG industry. With my parents’ recommendation, I started looking into SF Film School.
After visiting the website and reviewing the students’ portfolios and employment outcomes, I became even more interested in both SF Film School and the visual graphics field, which led me to apply for a consultation.
When I first visited SF Film School, I felt that it provides a truly professional educational environment while receiving the studio tour. During my first consultation, I realized that the academy’s goal is not just to help students build portfolios for employment, but to enhance each student’s unique expression and individual capabilities. This gave me a strong sense of trust in the institution.
Although I am still a beginner with limited knowledge, I believe that this also means I have limitless room for growth and development. I am very much looking forward to the various classes I will take at SF Film School.
Since I made this decision after much consideration, I will work hard so that my time at SF Film School does not become a regret. After completing the program, my plan is to apply with my portfolio to both domestic and overseas companies. At first, I naturally became familiar with 3D programs while working on an NFT project at my company. The development partner sent us 3D videos, and that was probably the first time I thought, “I need to learn this properly.”
I considered enrolling in an academy back then, but since I didn’t know much about the field yet and didn’t have enough time, I had no choice but to put it off, which was regrettable. Still, I continued searching for related lectures and attending seminars, and I felt my interest growing stronger day by day.
The decisive moment that made me want to pursue this field was my desire to work more “professionally.” I wanted to properly learn cinematic video production, which I had long been interested in, so I started looking for an academy.
I believed SF Film School was the best in the VFX field. As a complete beginner, I wanted to learn everything step by step from the fundamentals, which is why I chose SF Film School. After seeing the overwhelming educational environment and the high-quality portfolios, no other academy caught my eye.
My first impression was, “Just as I expected.” When I saw the motion capture studio and the cinema room, my mouth literally fell open in amazement!

My first interest in this field began while watching NFL live broadcasts. In American football, where moving more than 10 yards is crucial for continuing the attack, I became curious about how the virtual first-down line that helps viewers stay immersed was created. After searching online, I learned that it was made using VFX.
I have always enjoyed webtoons and animation, and I often find myself in awe when I see well-directed scenes. I realized that if these were implemented in 3D, they could deliver an outstanding sense of immersion, almost as if you were actually there. Living in an era where video content is consumed everywhere, I believe the prospects for video editing and CG technology are very promising, which led me to choose this field.
I was highly satisfied with the detailed explanations on the SF Film School website. Seeing their exclusive facilities such as motion capture, green screen, and lighting equipment, along with being an official Chaos Group education partner and winning the Rookie Awards, made me feel that SF Film School is truly more professional than other academies.
Using my favorite sport, American football, as the theme, I want to create a short film that captures the teamwork and sense of responsibility found in team sports. Rather than treating employment as the final destination, I want it to be a starting point. I plan to steadily build my skills through consistent practice and study, so that I can incorporate them into films or games.
Above all, I dream of sitting in a movie theater and seeing my name rise up in the ending credits on the big screen.
