Ok Chang Su
"I will always keep my goals in mind and move forward without being lazy."
While watching TV commercials, program openings, and music videos featuring stages that could not exist in reality, I became curious about which field creates such videos. After searching, I discovered the Visual Graphics field.
I chose this path because I wanted to create videos that go beyond simple cut editing and effects — I wanted to create something from nothing (無 to 有) and combine virtual spaces with the real world.
I selected SF Film School as the place where I can build my skills while creating a strong portfolio at the same time. Unlike many other academies’ websites, SF Film School provided clear information even to someone like me who had little prior knowledge of the Visual Graphics field. It showed what sub-fields exist and how the classes are conducted. Additionally, seeing students’ actual works uploaded on YouTube increased my trust. After visiting the Gangnam branch for my consultation, my confidence in the academy grew even more.
I believe SF Film School offers a systematic curriculum that provides clear direction and proves its quality through results. I chose it because I am convinced it will guide me toward achieving my goals.
I will always keep the emotions I’ve felt so far and my desired goals in mind, and I will move forward diligently without being lazy.
My ultimate goal is to become the best in the Visual Graphics field. Once I reach a solid foundational level with the tools, I will focus on building a competitive portfolio alongside my studies to achieve my next goal — employment.
Kim Ku Hyun
"I feel both relieved and passionate after receiving the acceptance email."
I believed that the video media field would continue to grow in the future, so I pursued a double major in a related department at university. I took courses in video editing, Maya modeling, and animation, where I discovered my aptitude for this field. Later, while taking a Lookdev class, I realized that I was more interested in modeling, rendering, lighting, and texturing than in animation itself. After consulting with my professor, I decided to pursue employment in this area.
I am particularly drawn to the process of creating near-photorealistic work, where every small detail must be carefully considered and executed.
When searching for a professional academy to study VFX, I chose SF Film School because it was the only place that precisely taught the areas I wanted to focus on. The curriculum on the website perfectly matched my expectations, and after seeing the high quality of works by current students, graduates, and employed alumni, I became determined to study here.
Although I was nervous because it was my first academy interview, I was impressed by how detailed and accurate the consultation was. I felt a strong sense of trust, believing this is an academy that truly nurtures students who are genuinely eager to learn.
Receiving the acceptance email brought me both relief and a surge of passion. Seeing that enrollment is not taken lightly, I can tell that the instructors are fully committed to improving students’ skills. I will strive to become a student worthy of their dedication.
My goal is to complete as many portfolio projects as possible before the course ends.
Ahn Su Yeon
"I promise myself that I will work hard to improve my skills."
I watch a lot of video content on Netflix, and I became curious about how the videos I enjoy are made. After searching for various production processes on YouTube, I discovered the field. I’ve always loved creating things, and the idea of being able to realize what’s in my head was very appealing, which led me to choose the Visual Graphics field.
I often looked up work videos while thinking about building my own portfolio. Among them, SF Film School’s videos stood out the most, so I researched more about the academy. I felt that the school system and atmosphere were exactly what I had been looking for, which naturally led me to want to study here.
When I first applied, it was simply “I really want to go to this academy!” But now that I’ve been accepted, I find myself thinking more deeply and seriously about the things I had only vaguely considered before. I’m truly overjoyed.
I plan to stay at the academy so much that people might wonder whether my home is in Jinju or at SF Film School. I learned that sleep is for the dead. I promise myself that I will work hard and continuously improve my skills.
My goal is to get a job in film production. I want to build my career steadily, and if the opportunity arises, I hope to work on various projects overseas as well.
Lee Ru U Jin
"I want to immerse myself as much as possible and, based on that, plan to build my portfolio and secure employment."
While majoring in fashion, I first encountered 3D through the CLO program, and that was how I initially learned about the 3D field. Later, through the expansion of virtual worlds such as Zepeto and Bondi, I discovered the Visual Graphics field for the first time.
As I gradually worked on it, I found the process incredibly enjoyable. Experiencing the time and deep thought that goes into creation helped broaden my perspective and understanding of the world. This led me to feel a strong attraction to the field, and I became eager to create and fill a new world of my own.
With the desire to learn 3D in a systematic and professional way, I chose SF Film School. My first impression was that it does not simply teach how to use programs, but guides students through real-world workflows and supports them in producing creative results on their own.
I hope my time at SF Film School will become a solid period in which I can fully embody the name “이루어진” (Achieved/Realized).
I plan to fully immerse myself for the next year, and based on that foundation, I will focus on building a strong portfolio and securing employment. My current plan is to gain experience through a job in Korea first, then grow further and eventually pursue opportunities for overseas employment as well.
Shin Seung Yeon
"I want to try working as a 3D modeler or compositor."
I’ve always loved movies, and whenever I watched works that included CG, I vaguely wondered how they were created. After taking a leave of absence last year, while searching for what I truly wanted to do and learn, I realized that everything I thought was cool belonged to the VFX field.
With the mindset of “let’s just try learning it,” I took basic courses in Maya and ZBrush early last year. I found the process fun and saw strong future potential, which led me to firmly decide on my career path.
Among the various academies I researched, I chose SF Film School because I believed it was the most professional when it came to VFX. When I first stepped inside the academy, I felt it had a free and creative atmosphere rather than a rigid one.
I want to model the monsters that appear in Marvel movies and even animate them. If I take the Nuke course, I’d like to try shooting actors on a set and compositing them into a devastated world background, then adding a story to create a complete scene.
I want to work as a 3D modeler or compositor. Ultimately, I hope to get a job at places like Dexter Studio, advertising agencies, or broadcasting stations.
Lee Ji Su
"I will become an animator who touches the hearts of many people and warms their souls."
At first, I began learning video production with the idea of trying out various fields. That’s how I ended up studying cinematography without a clear plan. However, I soon realized that what I truly wanted to do was animation, and I felt a strong urge to start working on it as soon as possible.
I consider SF Film School to be the best academy for animation, which is why I visited. When I saw the many three-dimensional works on display, I immediately thought, “I want to create pieces like these myself.” Moreover, seeing that it has been recognized as the top school for several consecutive years, I became confident that studying here would allow me to fulfill my dream.
Becoming an animator is my goal. I will become a great animator who moves many people emotionally and warms their hearts.
I will approach animation with greater passion than anyone else and give it my absolute best. I want to create many short animations. These works should feature well-crafted stories that deeply touch people and leave a lasting impression.
Choi Myung Jun
"I want to learn as much as possible, achieve great results, and develop the ability to create the works I truly desire..."
My interest first started with video editing. As I continued learning, I realized there were clear limits to self-studying alone. While researching academies and going through consultations, I learned that the Visual Graphics field also existed.
What made me choose SF Film School was the incredibly detailed explanation I had never heard before, combined with the instructor’s eyes and words full of genuine pride in the academy. I immediately thought, “This is the school I want to attend.”
The comment the instructor made during my first consultation — “Our academy doesn’t feel like a typical academy; it has more of a club-like atmosphere” — gave me confidence that I would be able to comfortably ask questions and learn about the things I want to create and study.
When I received the acceptance email, I felt a subtle but profound joy.
I want to learn extensively, achieve great results, and build the capability to create the works I truly want to make. Rather than becoming a person who only shines for myself, I want to become someone who can make others shine. I hope to create works that express my own thoughts and emotions, share them with others, and receive genuine empathy.
Jeong Da Bin
"I want to study diligently and be able to express what I truly want to create."
While majoring in design, I naturally developed an interest in visual graphics. As I watched movies, I often thought how fun it would be if I could create those kinds of works myself. This interest in movie CG led me to search for academies online, where I discovered SF Film School. I chose it because it seemed like the place that would teach me professionally.
When I went for the consultation, everything was exactly as I had hoped. The explanations were highly professional, and the staff kindly answered all my questions. I felt confident that if I studied here, my questions during class would also be answered in detail.
Moving forward, I want to study hard and truly express the things I want to create. My goal is to work in the film industry. Ultimately, I dream of working overseas, but if that turns out to be difficult, I would like to work in Seoul.
Kong Ye Won
"I am thrilled to finally be able to learn and create what I’ve always wanted."
Since childhood, I have loved graphic-heavy movies from Marvel and Disney. While the films were entertaining, the thought that stood out the most was, “I want to make something like this myself.” As I looked for related information, I naturally discovered the Visual Graphics field.
My decision became even firmer after taking an After Effects class at school. I realized that I felt much more joy working with three-dimensional forms and motion rather than flat design. This made me feel the need for a place where I could learn practical, real-world skills.
After deciding to study 3D, I found SF Film School through an internet search. I believed it was the place that could help me reach the level of portfolio quality I desired. I was particularly attracted to the small class sizes, which allow not only group lessons but also individual attention. This seemed ideal for someone like me who always has many questions.
Additionally, the fact that it has the character of a school rather than just an academy — offering free access to empty classrooms for practice and asking questions — was a major reason for my choice.
I am thrilled to finally be able to learn and create what I’ve always wanted. I can’t wait for the classes to begin.
I’m not sure if this counts as an aspiration, but I truly want to learn with joy!! As the saying goes, “Those who enjoy it can win.” I believe I will grow the most through this enjoyable process.
Park Sung Hee
"I am honored to have been accepted, and I will approach the classes with as much passion as the opportunity I’ve been given."
I first encountered this field while taking required major courses in university. Feeling that the school classes alone were insufficient, I sought additional learning through academies and received continuous feedback and VFX resources from my professors. This naturally led me to decide on a career in 3D.
When I created a 3-minute animation as my graduation project, I realized how much I was drawn to 3D animation. After graduating and completing language training abroad, I began seriously preparing for employment and searched for Maya academies. Among them, SF Film School stood out due to its high employment rate, excellent student care, and systematic curriculum.
During the consultation, they provided detailed answers to all my questions about overseas employment. After the consultation, while touring the academy, I saw students working hard and the impressive underground studio. My heart raced as I imagined myself studying diligently and doing self-study there.
Upon receiving the acceptance notice, I felt only one strong thought: I have loved watching animations since childhood, and I must work even harder to get closer to my dream of creating such films.
I am truly honored to have been accepted, and I will repay this honor by dedicating myself to the classes with great passion.
My ultimate goal is to secure employment overseas. I plan to strengthen my Maya skills, build a high-quality portfolio, and consistently maintain my English proficiency by participating in language exchange meetups, conversation study groups, and preparing for the TOEIC and OPIc exams.
Lim Han Ki
"I will become a person who continues to learn steadily, no matter what new things come in the future."
I first discovered the Visual Graphics field through game cinematics. The stories within the videos, the spectacular or impressive graphics that bring them to life, and the sound effects added on top — after encountering such videos for the first time, the thought “Wow, I want to create cool videos like this and show them to others” became deeply embedded in my heart.
At the beginning, my dream was vague. I simply thought I could learn various things on my own, so I just browsed articles and searched online. Then I found SF Film School’s website, where I saw many student works and reviews. I felt this was the right place and decided to visit.
Two years ago, just before starting my mandatory civil service, I visited for the first time. After a brief consultation, I toured every floor of the academy. I was so impressed that I felt happy the entire time I was there. I told them with sincerity that I would definitely return after completing my service. Two years later, right after finishing my duty, I called and visited again.
This place is where my dream begins and will be realized. I will pour all my passion and effort into it. I will learn everything new that comes my way, and I will become a person who steadily continues to learn no matter what new challenges or technologies arise in the future.
I have a strong desire to compress everything I learn and show it to others in the best possible way. I will work hard.
Choi Seon yub
"It feels like I’ve taken one step closer to turning my vague dreams into reality."
My first interest in graphics began in elementary school when I watched the movie The Host and became fascinated by creatures. At that time, I developed an interest in film art and attended an art academy. Later, while studying abroad at an American high school, I watched many films, which made me want to study filmmaking comprehensively. This led me to major in Film at the Korea National University of Arts.
I chose SF Film School because I believe it offers a highly systematic and professional educational program. Since I am aiming for overseas employment, I felt that the academy could support me from the fundamentals all the way to employment. I also liked that it allows autonomous work similar to a school environment.
While attending the academy, I want to deeply study graphics, master the necessary technical skills, and build a strong portfolio. After that, I plan to gain experience by working at a company in Korea first, then move to the United States in about two years to continue my career. Ultimately, I hope to work at renowned studios such as Pixar, Disney, or Universal Studios, creating films or dramas.
Moreover, one of the great advantages of this field is that I can create works on my own. I also want to continue working on personal projects.
It feels like I’ve taken one step closer to turning my vague dreams into reality. I will not forget my original passion and will do my best to make it happen.
Kim Min Seo
"I feel truly fortunate and consider it a great opportunity to have been accepted and be able to attend."
I went through a long period of contemplation while choosing my career path. At first, I wanted to focus solely on 2D, but after watching movies that heavily used Visual Graphics with a friend, I became very interested. Upon researching further, I discovered the VFX field. The more I looked into it, the more I was drawn to the idea that scenes and places I had only imagined in my head could be realistically brought to life on screen. This became the main reason I chose this field.
When I visited SF Film School and saw the students’ portfolios and the curriculum, I was impressed by how professional they were and by the high quality of the videos. The process of filming in the studio and then applying graphics to the footage looked truly professional, which made me eager to learn there.
Even during the consultation visit, I felt that this was not a small, casual academy but a genuinely professional institution, which made me want to study here even more. I thought to myself, “Instead of being afraid of something I haven’t tried yet, if it’s a professional academy, I should be able to follow along well.”
I feel really fortunate and believe it is a wonderful opportunity to have been accepted to SF Film School. In 2024, I want to become a student who studies with great interest and effort, keeps up with the class pace, and never falls behind.
Once I learn Maya and Nuke and complete the portfolio course, I hope to work in the film industry.
Kim Na Young
"I am very grateful for this opportunity, and I will work as hard as the chance I’ve been given."
While majoring in Film, I produced three short films. Every time I made a film, I strongly felt the necessity of CG work and was deeply fascinated by the dramatic difference it made before and after application. Furthermore, after watching behind-the-scenes videos of CG work in Hollywood movies, I decided to pursue VFX with the clear goal of one day seeing my own name in the movie ending credits.
I chose SF Film School because I felt it would select a small number of students and provide in-depth, detailed instruction — just as the name implies — compared to other academies. Additionally, the completion level and quality of the portfolios were significantly higher than those of other schools, which made my decision firm.
When I visited the academy, the first thing that struck me was the students’ passion. Seeing them working together in the portfolio class made me feel that if I attended this school, I would be able to learn a lot while growing together with motivated peers.
I am truly grateful for this opportunity, and I will do my absolute best to live up to it. My biggest current goal is to learn VFX properly, build my own high-quality portfolio, and get a job at a VFX company that mainly works on films and dramas.
Lee Ye Won
"I feel very excited, and I think the upcoming projects will be really enjoyable."
Since high school, my dream has been to become a film director, so I wrote many scenarios and synopses in preparation for entering the Film Department. After entering university and majoring in Media Technology & Content, I found myself more interested in editing and special effects than in on-set directing and filming.
In a major course, I created a free-themed video using Unreal Engine. Unlike real-life filming, which has many limitations, I was fascinated by the ability to build any environment and subjects I wanted and freely create sequences in Unreal Engine. This experience led me to choose this field.
I chose SF Film School after a friend who attends the academy recommended it while I was researching computer graphics schools. During the consultation and facility tour, I was thrilled to see the motion capture studio, chroma key shooting studio, and even a small cinema room. It made me think that the work ahead would be truly fun.
The 1st and 2nd interview process was impressive. Rather than accepting everyone who shows interest, they carefully assess whether the applicant is truly suited for the program, which gave me even greater trust in the academy.
I want to give it my all without any regrets.
Ahn Yeon Su
"I now feel that I should stop overthinking and just focus on working hard."
As someone who has always loved videos, this field felt familiar to me from a long time ago, and I have consistently held an interest in it. One of my close friends works in drama CG, so I’ve occasionally heard stories about the industry from him.
After entering the Film Department, I personally handled post-production tasks such as editing, simple design, and sound mixing. Through that experience, I realized this area might suit me well, which led me to choose the Visual Graphics field.
When I firmly decided to attend an academy to prepare for employment, my friend mentioned that he was training at SF Film School. Thinking it would create good synergy if we attended together, I immediately scheduled a consultation and completed the first interview.
When I visited in person, I felt the academy was highly professional and trustworthy. Although I had vague fears because I knew almost nothing about the industry’s realities or the difficulty of the work, those worries seemed to naturally resolve themselves.
Now that I’ve been accepted, I feel that I should stop weighing every option and just focus on working hard. I will take the experience of stubbornly pushing through 2023 as motivation and challenge myself once more.
Kim Da Jung
"I became determined to study properly because I realized there is so much to learn."
As a Film Editing major, I often faced many technical difficulties while working on films — such as compositing shots or removing unwanted elements from the screen. Because my skills were insufficient, I struggled a lot. To make up for these weaknesses, I started studying After Effects on my own. Even though it was difficult, I felt a tremendous sense of accomplishment whenever I successfully created the scenes I envisioned. This experience sparked a deeper interest in the field, which naturally led me to choose Visual Graphics as my career path.
After researching academies online, I chose SF Film School because it appeared to offer systematic education designed even for beginners. When I visited for a consultation, they explained everything in great detail and answered all my questions thoroughly. I felt confident that if I worked hard, there would be a vast amount to learn here. This realization made me firmly resolve to study properly and with full commitment.
While attending the academy, I plan to learn with true passion, build a strong portfolio, and ultimately secure a job at a VFX company. I will give it my all. Please take good care of me.
Jeon Ji Eun
"Although I am only at the very beginning stage, I will work hard so that in a few months, I can stand tall on the next step."
While watching movies, dramas, and other content I love, I often had vague thoughts like “How did they make this?” and “I want to create cool work like this someday too.” After spending many days with these fleeting ideas, I decided to research the field more seriously. Through that research, I became determined that it was worth challenging myself, and I set a clear goal: to work hard and one day create amazing works of my own.
While searching for the right place to help me achieve this dream, I discovered SF Film School. I felt that this was a place I could truly entrust myself to, so I applied. From the first time I visited the website, I sensed how professional it was, and after looking at the students’ portfolios, I was impressed by the significantly high level of quality.
Although I am only at the starting line, I will work diligently so that in a few months, I can stand tall on the next step. I want to create unrealistic spaces that do not exist in reality.
Jang Hyun Ah
"SF Film School is the most trustworthy educational institution I could find, so I chose it without hesitation."
While watching CG artists, I always thought of them as cool and enviable people. Until now, I had been studying and working in a completely unrelated field. However, I decided that I didn’t want to wait any longer and made up my mind to learn what I truly wanted to pursue. That’s when I started researching this industry.
While looking for 3D academies, I found SF Film School through Naver. From the very first impression, I could strongly feel that the academy has tremendous pride in its education. From the foundational courses to the students’ portfolios, it was clear that SF Film School truly takes great pride in everything they do.
I chose SF Film School because I felt there was no other educational institution I could trust as much as this one.
I’ve heard that many people start CG with FX and then move on to Houdini. I, too, want to begin by learning FX, but unlike others, I have no intention of giving up. Even if it’s difficult, I want to learn step by step and see it through to the end.
Cho Sung Kwon

After watching the movie Space Sweepers (승리호), the first thought that came to mind was, “I want to do CG work like this.” I learned more details through YouTube and consultations. After researching various academies on community forums, visiting them in person, receiving consultations, and comparing their facilities, I wanted to choose SF Film School.
The reasons were that it seemed more systematic than other academies and offered a wider range of practical, real-world experience. Additionally, the quality of the completed student portfolios was noticeably higher, which solidified my decision.
When I visited in person, I liked that everything was housed in one building, and I was amazed by the variety of facilities available.
I will absorb all the excellent techniques taught at the academy and make them truly my own. I plan to diligently complete the curriculum, build up my capabilities, and ultimately get a job at a great company such as Wiz On Studio (위즈윅스튜디오).
