“Being able to reconsider the curriculum and reaffirm my determination is a good aspect.”
I have always been interested in SF and fantasy genre movies and games. I chose this program because I wanted to study more thoroughly than what I learned at university. While researching academies, I found that SF Film School had many positive reviews, the start schedule fit my plans, and the classes were conducted in small groups, so I felt I would be able to keep up with the lessons.
At first, I was unsure about the first and second interviews, but I realized they were not difficult; rather, they allowed me to calmly reconsider the curriculum I had chosen and reaffirm my determination, which I found very beneficial. I want to follow the program carefully so that it can greatly help me prepare for my graduation project and portfolio next year. I also want to continue specializing in graphic work using Unreal Engine.

“My goal is to build a strong portfolio and successfully start a career in the industry.”
I became interested in 3D modeling through my long-standing passion for animation and films. In addition, I know someone who learned Unreal Engine and successfully found employment as an environment designer in the game industry. Seeing their journey showed me that even those without a related academic background can learn the necessary skills and build a career in this field. That inspired me to challenge myself and pursue the same path.
I chose SF Film School after seeing the high-quality portfolio projects created by its graduates and reading success stories from students who secured employment overseas. These achievements convinced me that the school provides students with the practical skills and industry knowledge needed to become job-ready professionals.
Another aspect that stood out to me was the learning environment. I was told that instructors closely guide small groups of around ten students, which gave me the impression of a supportive and structured educational experience. I believe this type of environment will help students stay focused, receive personalized feedback, and continue improving throughout the program.
My goal is to learn industry-standard tools alongside my classmates and instructors, develop a strong professional portfolio, and successfully secure employment in a related field. In particular, I hope to build a career in the game industry, where I can apply my creativity and technical skills to create engaging digital worlds and experiences.
I look forward to learning, growing, and taking the first steps toward achieving my professional goals.

“I feel that I must work hard to achieve what I want as much as possible.”
While the reputation and awards of SF Film School were impressive, what drew me most strongly were the students’ portfolios and the curriculum descriptions, which seemed full of confidence. The zero-batch system, where learning is conducted in small teams, gave me the impression that the school intends to provide more close and personalized teaching to students, which I found very appealing.
The first and second interviews were not simply consultations for enrollment but rather an effort to understand the students more deeply and place them appropriately within teams, which left a strong impression on me. I liked the educational direction pursued at SF Film School and felt the pride the instructors have in all aspects of the curriculum.
I believe that learning under such instructors will allow me to grow significantly, and I feel that I must work hard to achieve what I want as much as possible. During the consultation, the director mentioned starting with MAYA as a foundation and later learning Houdini to move into the FX field, which is the path I hope to pursue.

“Efficient effort that I can be proud of myself, leading to good results.”
After entering film school, I became more certain that I wanted to approach film as a profession as well. Rather than simply editing by assembling cuts, I began to look into the post-production stage where I could engage in more active creation, and that led me to revisit VFX-related content.
While working on live-action films, I often felt regret in situations where certain elements had to be abandoned due to practical limitations, or where I thought, “If I knew how to composite, I could have made this better” or “I could have tried a wider variety of visual compositions.” I came to believe that learning these techniques could help resolve such frustrations. While trying to find a role within film production that I could endure and perform well in, I ultimately chose the field of Visual Graphics.
Since I wanted to properly study VFX with employment in mind as well, I looked for academies and chose SF Film School because of its various successful employment stories and portfolio examples. The learning environment seemed very well organized, and I was surprised to see that the facilities shown on the website were exactly as they were in reality. I felt that if I attended the academy, I would be able to study in a structured and well-equipped environment.
Through the first interview, I was able to hear an overall explanation of VFX and tour the facilities, which I found very helpful. Through the second interview, I had the opportunity to think more concretely about the kind of VFX work I want to pursue. After being accepted, I felt even more motivated, as I had earned the qualification to attend the classes, and I strongly felt that I should make the most of this opportunity and remember this mindset for a long time.
Compared to others, I went through a somewhat longer entrance preparation period and made efforts in my own way, but those efforts were somewhat broad and abstract. This time, I want to make efficient efforts that I can be proud of myself for and achieve good results. I want to create a portfolio that is not only technically strong but also demonstrates my study of film, incorporating strong directorial details. Although I am not yet sure what specific portfolio I will create, I hope to produce work with well-composed spaces and strong use of lighting.

“The academy seems to have strong interaction between instructors and students.”
Since I was young, I have been interested in video, and I later went on to major in Media and Film Studies at university. However, I came to realize that video editing and graphic design are different fields. At university, I mainly studied theory and editing, and during my job preparation process, I learned that graphic design is a field that needs to be studied professionally at an academy, which initially made me curious and led me to look into it.
While researching, I became more interested, and this field started to appeal to me more than my major in video editing. I also believed that learning visual graphics would be helpful for my future, which is why I decided to pursue it. Among the academies I researched and consulted with, this one seemed the most professional and systematic, and since I do not want to waste time before employment, I decided that this place was the most trustworthy choice.
The answers I received to my questions were very professional, which helped clear up many of my concerns. Because of this, I felt that there would be strong interaction between the academy and its students.
While studying at the academy, I plan to find the specific field that suits me and make a concrete career decision. However, I am not starting with a casual mindset, and my goal is to find employment in this field after completing the academy’s training program.

“I Will Approach My Studies as a Sincere, Consistent, and Steady Student Without Rushing.”
I previously studied motion graphics and, after finding employment in that field, I briefly worked as a compositor. During that experience, I realized that compositing work was the part of the job I enjoyed the most. That realization led me to seriously consider pursuing a career in the 2D and 3D compositing departments of a major company.
In order to achieve that goal, I knew that I would need to create a highly polished and professional portfolio. While researching online, I came across the outstanding portfolio projects of SF Film School, and I was genuinely impressed by their exceptional quality.
For future portfolio work, I would like to create a project featuring animals moving through a ruined and desolate city environment. Through this kind of work, I hope to express atmosphere, storytelling, and visual emotion in a unique and cinematic way.
Going forward, I will approach every class sincerely and consistently, maintaining the mindset of a diligent student who steadily improves without rushing. My goal is to create an outstanding portfolio and eventually gain employment at a major company within the industry.

“I Believe I Must Work Hard to Establish a Clear Goal for My Future.”
I decided to pursue the field of visual graphics because I have loved animation since childhood. Later, while studying 3D graphics at university, I naturally became more familiar with the field and developed an even deeper interest in it.
As I spent time in university struggling with questions about my aptitude and future direction, I realized that I had never truly created a complete project that I could confidently call my own. Because of that, I began searching for an academy where I could systematically build my skills and properly develop a professional portfolio.
Among the institutions I researched, SF Film School gave me the impression that it would provide strong and detailed instruction, especially in areas such as hard-surface modeling and intricate design work. I chose to come here because I wanted not only to learn technical skills, but also to discover my own strengths through the educational process.
I especially appreciated the structure of the interview process. During the first interview, I was able to hear an overall explanation of how the classes and curriculum would be conducted. Then, during the second interview, I liked that there was an opportunity to think more deeply about my personal thoughts and goals and express the ideas I had not been able to fully explain during the first meeting.
Moving forward, my goal is to study the areas where I am lacking, strengthen my fundamentals, and successfully prepare a strong portfolio while attending the academy.
I would also like to challenge myself by creating subjects such as armor, mechanical engineering-inspired designs, and creature models like dragons. Through projects like these, I hope to continue expanding both my creativity and technical abilities.
Most importantly, I believe that if I want to establish a clear goal for my future, I must continue working hard and learning seriously. I will do my best to follow the program closely and gain as much knowledge and experience as possible from this opportunity.

“Having decided to stay focused and work diligently so that I can grow into a skilled artist.”
My decision to study visual graphics initially came from simple interest. While studying 3D, I had a desire to try creating photorealistic graphics at least once. As I continued studying realistic visuals, I developed a stronger ambition to make things more realistic and more detailed. When I showed my completed work to others and heard that they could hardly tell the difference from reality, I felt a great sense of pride. That feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment became the reason I chose photorealistic graphics.
As I continued studying, I learned that in the CG field, Cinema 4D, which I had chosen, is less preferred compared to Autodesk Maya. This led me to decide to transition from motion graphics to CG. While exploring many academies to study CG and VFX, I also reviewed portfolios and took time to reflect on what I truly wanted to do. Through that process, I discovered that I was especially interested in environment design and FX.
I felt that SF Film School was the academy that best matched my needs, and I chose it accordingly. During counseling, I learned about the curriculum, facilities, and educational philosophy, and I became even more convinced that it was the right path for me.
When I first applied to SF Film School, I was 고민 between continuing to pursue employment opportunities and taking time to receive structured education at an academy. However, through the first and second interviews, I came to better understand what I truly wanted to do. After receiving specific advice about my career path and education, I concluded that, in the long term, receiving proper training would be more beneficial for me, and I made my decision.
Even after joining SF Film School, I intend to stay true to my original mindset, remain dedicated, and stay focused so that I can grow into a skilled artist.

“I Promise to Continue Growing Through Constant Self-Reflection and Become Someone Who Always Moves Forward.”
I originally had a strong interest in video production. During high school, I joined the broadcasting club and served as the head of video editing, where I actively worked on various editing projects for three years. Through those experiences, I developed both passion and familiarity with visual storytelling and editing work.
After entering university, I was introduced to CG software for the first time. Around that period, an acquaintance suggested that I consider studying CG graphics more seriously, and that recommendation made me begin thinking deeply about my future direction. While searching through Naver and YouTube for academies and information related to the field, I discovered SF Film School.
The moment I watched the portfolio videos on the website, I was genuinely amazed. The quality of the work was incredible, and it immediately made my heart race with excitement. Watching those projects made me think, “Maybe I can create work like that too someday,” and it strengthened my determination to pursue the graphics field.
My first impression of SF Film School was that it felt truly grand and professional. Seeing the students’ projects made me eager to challenge myself and start creating my own work as quickly as possible. It gave me a strong desire to improve, learn, and push myself further.
My future goal is to pursue a career in the film CG industry, and on a larger scale, I also hope to work overseas someday.
I want to enter the academy, learn sincerely through the classes, and become someone who steadily works toward achieving my goals through the knowledge and skills I gain there. More importantly, rather than becoming satisfied with where I currently am, I want to continue believing that personal growth defines who I am.
I promise that through constant self-reflection, continuous learning, and persistent effort, I will continue moving forward and becoming a better version of myself. Thank you.

“I Want to Build My Foundation Step by Step and Eventually Discover My Own Strengths in This Field.”
While thinking seriously about changing my career path, I vaguely felt that I might enjoy working in a field related to editing and visual production. Around that time, I became interested in CG after watching The Walt Disney Company films, which led me to research the visual graphics field more deeply.
As I searched online for information about programs, course durations, and curriculums, I came across SF Film School and decided to visit in person.
The academy’s environment gave me a great sense of encouragement as someone completely new to the field. The various classrooms, self-study spaces, dedicated instructors, and small class sizes all made me feel that this was a place where I could truly begin learning with confidence.
At first, I thought it was unusual that the academy conducted interviews unlike many other schools. However, while answering the interview questions, I realized that the process gave me an opportunity to seriously think about the path I wanted to pursue, as well as my mindset and determination toward learning.
Through the consultation process, the vague thoughts I previously had about my future began to take a clearer shape. After being accepted into the program, I strongly realized that giving up without even trying would have been a foolish decision.
Now that I have been given this opportunity, I want to continue learning without becoming discouraged, and I want to make the skills and knowledge I gain truly my own.
Going forward, I hope to steadily build my foundation step by step and eventually discover my own unique strengths within this field. In the future, I would like to work in an area where I can fully utilize and develop those strengths professionally.

“I feel like I want to start attending as soon as possible.”
I used to only watch 3D animated films, but I happened to get completely hooked on the Marvel series, and for the first time, I thought, “I want to create videos like this too.” I also imagined how amazing it would be to see my name appear, even a little, in such a great film.
I am very interested not only in CG in films but also in special makeup, character design, artwork, and the filming process. I think it would be incredibly fun to experience and learn these aspects once I enter the industry. I wanted to learn CG professionally, which is why I discovered SF Film School. When I saw the portfolio videos, they were so impressive that I wanted to challenge myself again and came to the school.
My first impression was that studying here would be really fun. I also strongly felt that I want to learn professionally and pursue this work properly. The practical classes and facilities were excellent, and I feel that I can enjoy the process of learning and working to the fullest. I feel like I want to start attending as soon as possible!
I hope to join a domestic company first, gain a lot of experience participating in films, and eventually work overseas.

“I plan to directly create 3D models of the scenes I have only imagined in my head and even print them out.”
While I was in the military, I saw a friend who had been discharged. In order to find what he truly wanted to do, he boldly gave up cooking, which he was already good at, and tried various jobs to gain experience. At first, I had many thoughts such as, “What will you do if you fail?” However, at the same time, I found his courage admirable and impressive. Seeing his proactive attitude made me think that rather than giving up without even trying, it would be better to attempt things, gain experience, and discover aspects of myself that I did not yet know. This is what led me to choose the field of visual graphics.
At first, while looking at websites to learn more about academies, I realized that the school was large in scale and professionally operated. With the mindset that if I am going to study what I want, I should learn it properly, I chose SF FILM SCHOOL. My first impression came from the website curriculum, where I saw a classroom filled with figurines, and I became curious about whether this was the kind of place where I could learn what I had always wanted to study. Since it is difficult to find places where 3D modeling goes beyond CG or animation character modeling and also includes actual physical output/printing, I became even more interested after seeing the works displayed on the website.
My future career plan is to attend the academy and learn the technical skills and programs that I currently lack, while also creating many character and animation sculptures. I plan to directly model and print out scenes that I have only imagined in my head. In addition, since I studied Japanese to some extent during my military service, if the opportunity arises, I am planning to pursue employment at a 3D modeling company in Japan.

“I Will Study Diligently and Continue Working to Improve My Personal Skills.”
I was first introduced to ZBrush while learning hand sculpting as a hobby to create figures and collectible models. At the beginning, my goal was simply to make character figures, but over time I developed a stronger desire to create more realistic and lifelike works.
Eventually, I wanted to bring those ideas into the digital world as well, which led me to explore various portfolios and digital artworks. The more I looked at them, the more I wanted to create works like that myself. I also began to feel that, if this could become my profession, it would suit both my interests and personality very well. For these reasons, I decided to pursue the field of visual graphics.
SF Film School was an academy I had been paying attention to for quite a long time. After reading many reviews and testimonials, I developed strong confidence that this was a place where I could truly learn the field properly and professionally, which ultimately led me to choose it.
When I first visited the academy, I was immediately overwhelmed—in a positive way—by the impressive building and professional atmosphere. It genuinely felt like I had finally found a serious and specialized institution for this field.
Being accepted made me incredibly happy. It honestly feels like I am beginning an entirely new chapter in my life.
From now on, I will do my best to study sincerely, continue improving my personal abilities, and work hard throughout the entire learning process.

"While watching YouTube, I started noticing videos with color grading that stood out, and I gradually became interested in video content, which eventually led me to become interested in CG as well."
As I looked into it further, I started to feel that I wanted to pursue it even more, so I decided to choose this field.
I chose it because I wanted to learn in a professional way, and I felt even more trust after seeing the videos on the website and listening to the consultation.

“SF Film School Students’ Portfolios Were So Outstanding That I Chose SF Film School.”
Since childhood, I have always loved movies and dramas, and I often imagined what it would be like to create them myself someday. As I entered university, I gradually became more interested in the field of visual graphics, which naturally led me toward studying digital content creation more seriously.
During my studies, I had the opportunity to learn Cinema 4D, and through that experience I realized that this field suited me extremely well. The process of creating visual content felt both exciting and personally fulfilling, which became the reason I decided to pursue this path further.
Among the many academies I researched, the portfolios created by students from SF Film School stood out to me the most. The quality of the work was incredibly impressive and professional, and seeing those projects made me strongly feel that this was the environment where I wanted to learn and grow.
In the future, I hope to join Giantstep to gain extensive industry experience and continue improving my skills. Ultimately, my dream is to work at Wētā FX.
If I am taught well, I will do my best to follow, learn sincerely, and continue working hard throughout the process. Thank you, and I look forward to growing through this opportunity.

“A place with deep expertise and practical, hands-on training.”
I naturally became interested in the Visual Graphic field by learning about it step by step, which led me to research it on my own. I realized that I wanted to pursue a career in this field, and that’s why I chose it. I searched around extensively, but I could not find any other school that offered as deep and practical a training program as SF Film School, which is why I decided to enroll here.
Even when I saw the facilities on the website, I thought they were impressive, but when I visited in person, I was amazed at how incredible the school’s facilities actually were. My goal is to diligently complete the training program and successfully secure employment.

"I hope to successfully complete the program without falling behind and graduate with good results."
A friend of mine works in the 3D industry, and after hearing stories about the field from him, I became interested in it. During my university years, I was much more interested in 2D art than in 3D, so I now feel a great deal of regret that I did not challenge myself to explore this field at that time.
Because of that, I decided to apply in the hope that learning 3D now might provide me with an opportunity to take another step forward in the field of art.
Even as someone with no prior knowledge of 3D, I could see that the students at SF Film School possessed impressive skills. I was also very attracted by the fact that students have the opportunity to use and experience various tools that are actually used in film production.
Going through the first and second interviews gave me the chance to reflect once again on why I want to pursue 3D. I am happy to have been accepted, but at the same time, it still feels a little unreal.
Going forward, I hope to keep up with the program, successfully complete it without falling behind, and graduate with excellent results.

“I Will Work Hard So That Everything I Learn Through the Classes Becomes Meaningful and Valuable.”
While watching movies and playing games, I naturally became interested in graphic technology and visual effects. As I learned more about the field, I realized that the work suited both my personality and interests very well, which is why I decided to pursue the field of visual graphics.
I first came to know about SF Film School through my parents’ recommendation and decided to attend a consultation session. After exploring the academy’s website, I was impressed by the quality of the facilities and the strong results achieved by the graduates, which ultimately led me to choose SF Film School.
I also liked the interview process very much. During the interview, they asked about the graphic tools and software I was familiar with, and based on my answers, they recommended learning paths and courses that would suit me well. I appreciated how personalized and thoughtful the process felt.
When I first applied, I was honestly very nervous because I wanted to study graphics seriously but felt that I lacked sufficient knowledge and experience. I worried that I might not be accepted. However, after receiving the acceptance notice, I became even more determined to study hard and work toward achieving the kind of career I truly want.
I believe that through SF Film School, I will be able to learn and experience many valuable things. I want to put in my full effort so that everything I gain through the classes becomes meaningful and worthwhile.
My ultimate goal is to work overseas, either at a game company or as part of a film graphics team, and continue growing professionally in the visual graphics industry.
