“My ambition is to create videos that serve as a guide for scientists and companies.”

While searching for programs that allow me to incorporate ideas into videos, I became aware of the field of visual graphics. Since middle school, my dream has changed several times as I explored different challenges. However, now that I am at the stage where I must decide on my career and academic path, I feel the need to firmly develop my skills. Rather than relying on the idea of simply trusting my school and pursuing a job in the entertainment industry, I decided to choose the field of visual graphics because I want to strengthen my abilities in a more solid and practical way.
Through portfolio videos uploaded on YouTube, I realized that the academy focuses on producing general, well-rounded portfolios, and I believed that the classes would be very helpful for the direction I am aiming for. When I first encountered SF Film School, I thought the learning environment was very suitable for studying, and since the curriculum closely matched my own thoughts, I strongly felt that I wanted to start the classes as soon as possible, even from tomorrow.
I have a strong desire to create videos that others have not yet attempted—such as translation videos using future glass-based hologram technology, or content about the future development of space engineering. I want to produce such forward-looking works through video and ultimately create content that can serve as a guide for scientists and companies.

"With the ultimate goal of working abroad, I want to prepare step by step, starting from the very basics."

Since I was young, I have always been deeply interested in movies, dramas, and music videos. I came to realize that many of the fantasy productions I enjoy, such as Harry Potter, Marvel films, Doctor Who, and The Lord of the Rings, heavily rely on VFX technology. Whenever the end credits rolled, I would look at the names listed under Visual Graphics and imagine that one day my own name would appear there as well. From that moment on, I became certain about the career path I wanted to pursue.
Even before the consultation, the fact that SF Film School operated with a cohort-based system and offered a curriculum closely connected to real industry practices was one of the main reasons I chose to apply and seek counseling there. After the consultation, I learned that students in the same cohort regularly exchange feedback with one another and that the instructors continue to provide guidance outside of class hours. Hearing this made me feel that everyone involved is truly passionate about this field, and it inspired me to participate with the same level of enthusiasm and dedication.
In addition, after seeing the facilities and the work produced by the students, I strongly felt that this was a place where I could learn the skills needed for the field I have always dreamed of working in and turn that dream into reality. It gave me confidence that this was the right environment for me.
As I mentioned during the consultation, my ultimate goal is to work overseas. However, this is not simply because I want to live or work abroad. Rather, I want to experience a larger and more developed VFX industry and take part in a wider range of projects than may be available domestically. I have always believed that setting ambitious goals motivates me to prepare more passionately and dedicate myself fully to achieving them. That is why I have set working abroad as my long-term goal, and I want to move toward it step by step, beginning with the fundamentals.
When I submitted my application, I did so with great excitement. It was a field I had genuinely wanted to pursue for a long time, and I felt that learning it would be both meaningful and enjoyable. Now, as an accepted student, I hope to make the most of the next nine months and the years that follow by learning diligently, developing my skills, and preparing myself to work confidently in the field I aspire to join.

"My long-term goal is to become a Technical Artist."

I have always been interested in Unreal Engine because of its ability to create environments that are remarkably close to reality. I also have acquaintances who are studying CG and design, so I often asked them questions and researched the field extensively on my own. Through this process, I decided to pursue the field of Visual Graphics.
I explored several CG-related academies and chose SF Film School because it appeared to be the most closely aligned with the goals I want to achieve. During the consultation process, I was impressed by how detailed and attentive the guidance was. It gave me the impression that the school genuinely cares about its students, and I felt that it would be a great place for me to learn and grow.
By studying diligently at SF Film School, I plan to steadily develop my skills, create a portfolio based on concepts that I am passionate about, and ultimately join a company that aligns with my career goals. In the long term, my goal is to become a Technical Artist.

"My primary goal is to find a job in the film or game industry."

In my previous work related to visual design, I had very few opportunities to work with 3D graphics, but I had always been curious about the field. Ultimately, what I would like to create most is audiovisual content that visualizes sound and music. However, because I have not been able to find many works that fully match the ideas I have in mind, I would first like to pursue a career in the film or media industry and then explore audio visualization projects as a personal creative pursuit.
I visited the SF Film School branch in Busan after learning that the academy, which is based in Seoul, also had a campus there. Through my visit, I felt that it was a trustworthy institution with strong expertise in this field.
Since I was young, I have always wanted to study 3D graphics, so I have no regrets about taking on this challenge. At present, my primary goal is to secure a position in either the film or game industry. As I continue learning and gaining experience, I hope to develop a clearer direction within those industries while also creating exhibition videos, music videos, and other projects related to audio visualization as a hobby and creative outlet.

“I want to create a portfolio featuring off-road or forest-driving cars.”

I had an interest in car design, but I realized that my sketching skills were lacking and that I was inexperienced in drawing. While considering my options, I became interested in computer-based 3D design and wanted to study the field of Visual Graphics. I heard that SF Film School had recently opened a branch in Daegu, and I happened to have a good opportunity to receive a consultation.
Other academies gave me a sense of discomfort because they focused more on price and sales rather than the actual classes, but at SF Film School, I was drawn to the more professional explanations that were easy to understand. Most importantly, the quality of the final outputs between the two academies was very different, so making a decision was not difficult.
Since I started this path because of my love for cars, I am thinking about creating a portfolio focused on off-road driving or cars running through forests.

“Efficient effort that I can be proud of myself, leading to good results.”

After entering film school, I became more certain that I wanted to approach film as a profession as well. Rather than simply editing by assembling cuts, I began to look into the post-production stage where I could engage in more active creation, and that led me to revisit VFX-related content.
While working on live-action films, I often felt regret in situations where certain elements had to be abandoned due to practical limitations, or where I thought, “If I knew how to composite, I could have made this better” or “I could have tried a wider variety of visual compositions.” I came to believe that learning these techniques could help resolve such frustrations. While trying to find a role within film production that I could endure and perform well in, I ultimately chose the field of Visual Graphics.
Since I wanted to properly study VFX with employment in mind as well, I looked for academies and chose SF Film School because of its various successful employment stories and portfolio examples. The learning environment seemed very well organized, and I was surprised to see that the facilities shown on the website were exactly as they were in reality. I felt that if I attended the academy, I would be able to study in a structured and well-equipped environment.
Through the first interview, I was able to hear an overall explanation of VFX and tour the facilities, which I found very helpful. Through the second interview, I had the opportunity to think more concretely about the kind of VFX work I want to pursue. After being accepted, I felt even more motivated, as I had earned the qualification to attend the classes, and I strongly felt that I should make the most of this opportunity and remember this mindset for a long time.
Compared to others, I went through a somewhat longer entrance preparation period and made efforts in my own way, but those efforts were somewhat broad and abstract. This time, I want to make efficient efforts that I can be proud of myself for and achieve good results. I want to create a portfolio that is not only technically strong but also demonstrates my study of film, incorporating strong directorial details. Although I am not yet sure what specific portfolio I will create, I hope to produce work with well-composed spaces and strong use of lighting.

"I want to learn as quickly as possible!"

I often watch science fiction movies, and through them, I developed a desire to create my own universe using CG technology. This interest in CG graphics naturally led me to learn about the field of Visual Graphics. After exploring various options, I found that SF Film School seemed to offer the highest quality of education. The teacher I consulted with also showed both expertise and genuine dedication, which drew me even more to SF Film School.
For my portfolio, I am planning to create something in the cinematic style of the game League of Legends, which I have enjoyed watching for years. I want to learn as quickly as possible!

"After seeing the portfolios, I felt that the quality was exceptional and that the school provides professional training."

I have always been interested in fantasy films and animation, but I never seriously considered pursuing this field because I believed it was something only people with a related major could do. However, a family acquaintance who works in the VFX industry gave me some advice and told me that it is possible to enter the field even without a related academic background. Their encouragement gave me the confidence to choose this career path.
While browsing the portfolios on the school's website, I was impressed by the exceptional quality of the work. It gave me the impression that the school provides highly professional training. My goal is to study the VFX program, learn and develop skills across its various disciplines, gain professional expertise in the kind of work I have always wanted to do, and ultimately transition into a related industry.

"I will diligently complete the assignments entrusted to me."

I have learned PS, AI, AE, and C4D, and among these, I found working with C4D the most interesting. However, the course was too short, and I felt that something was lacking, so I began looking for a place where I could study more in depth. SF Film School came highly recommended by someone I know, and after comparing it with several other institutions, it seemed the most trustworthy. I was also impressed by the size of the school, as the entire building belongs to SF Film School.
I want to create videos like the Detroit: Become Human trailer. My goal is to work in the film or game industry. I will diligently complete the assignments entrusted to me.

"A first impression of the school that feels precious, mixed with eagerness and anticipation."

I became interested in the field of Visual Graphics through the school and realized that it could provide valuable elements to enhance the diversity of my video production. My desire to learn more and my ambition to improve myself are what brought me here. I felt that SF Film School could have a significant impact on my future, so my first impression of the school was a mixture of eagerness and anticipation, making it feel very special.
I want to create urban environments that can depict the future, like a smart city. My goal is to work overseas.

"Honestly, this feels even better than a university acceptance announcement."

I first learned about the field of Visual Graphics through animation. The reason I chose this field is that I spent a lot of time thinking about how animations are created. I had the opportunity to audit a 3D class at school, and it suited me much better than I expected, which led me to choose this path.
While looking for a professional 3D academy, I discovered SF Film School. After the consultation, seeing the excellent environment in person was amazing, and I truly felt that this was a school I wanted to attend. Honestly, this feels even better than a university acceptance announcement. I am very excited and will work hard.

“I want to study diligently, ask my teachers for help whenever I don’t understand, and grow into a highly skilled artist.”

I am currently majoring in visual design at university, and since my school also covers 3D-related subjects, I naturally became familiar with the field while attending classes. As I gradually worked on it, I found it very enjoyable to create realistic scenes with my own hands and produce results. That became my strongest interest, which led me to choose this field.
While searching online for an academy that teaches VFX, I came across SF Film School. After visiting the website, I noticed that the students’ portfolios were of a very high level, and it also seemed to provide a lot of support related to employment.
Before going for the consultation, I had some concerns about whether the academy would truly offer the program I wanted and also felt nervous about the consultation itself. However, the manager who conducted the consultation explained everything step by step in a way I could easily understand, and above all, the explanations were clear and precise, which built my trust.
My first impression was that this was not just a superficially well-organized academy, but one with a truly professional system. Since I will be attending SF Film School, and because it is connected to employment, I plan to sincerely follow the curriculum, and whenever I have difficulties, I will actively ask my teachers for help and grow into a highly skilled artist.
