“I want to take classes seriously and create results that I can personally be satisfied with.”
I was very satisfied with the curriculum. I especially liked the fact that it does not separate areas such as animation and modeling into fixed tracks. In other academies, I felt pressured because they strongly required students to choose one track, but I liked that SF Film School did not emphasize such restrictive choices.
Above all, I also liked that the building and facilities felt professional and gave a sense of being in a real production environment. I first became aware of the visual graphics field during my university classes, and the reason I chose this field was greatly influenced by my dream of becoming a film director during my entrance exam period.
When it comes to films, I enjoy various genres without discrimination, and I also like animation, so I believe my preferences had the biggest influence on my decision.
After being accepted, I found myself wanting to work hard in class and create results that I could be satisfied with myself. Over the course of nine months, I want to steadily build up my abilities step by step.

“I want to continuously refine my portfolio even after getting a job, and my ultimate goal is to work for an overseas company.”
I have always been very interested in subculture, and when I was a student, I often thought that I wanted to create my own character at least once. I was never afraid of working with computers, and I believed I was quite good at it, which is why I was naturally drawn to this field.
My plan moving forward is to create many works. I believe that in this field, there are two to three times more things to learn compared to other professions. A single modeling work involves countless details, and I believe that the best way to improve my skills is to keep producing more work.
If I complete proper training at SF Film School and successfully graduate, even after getting a job, I want to continue refining my portfolio and ultimately aim to work for an overseas company.

“I thought it was really great that I could stay after class to study and ask questions.”
While watching science fiction films in my daily life, I began to want to create works like those myself, which led me to explore the field further. As I learned Maya, that desire grew even stronger. After COVID-19, as the metaverse and OTT-related markets expanded, my thoughts changed from “I want to try making it myself” to “I want to make this my career.”
I chose this academy because it seemed to offer a more specialized curriculum compared to others and because it appeared to have a wide range of equipment. I also liked the fact that it operates in small group classes. I was especially impressed by the different floors, motion capture studio, and cinema room.
I felt that studying at this academy would allow me to gain diverse experiences, use professional equipment, and learn specialized knowledge. I also thought it was very appealing that I could stay after class to study and ask questions.
I will do my best to study hard from now on.

"I will do my best so that I can be working in the field I want one year from now."
Until earlier this year, I was living in the United Kingdom, and many of my close friends were IT majors. Some of them were also working for game companies. After visiting a game company with a friend who works as an animator, I became interested in the gaming industry.
Because of that influence, I transferred to the Department of New Media at a cyber university last year. In particular, while studying VR, AR, and the Metaverse, I became highly interested in the future growth potential of the XR industry, which led me to develop a serious interest in 3D graphics.
When creating assignments using motion graphics with my classmates, I was so interested in using the software that I would stay up all night working on projects. While researching animation schools, I discovered SF Film School through the Rookie '23 Top Animation School Ranking.
I chose SF Film School because I wanted to make a meaningful investment in my future. My first impression when I visited was that the facilities were excellent, and above all, the students' work was incredibly impressive.
To be honest, I feel quite nervous about starting the program. My original major was not in the field of design, so I believe I will need to put in more effort than many of the other students. However, I will successfully complete the 11-month program, make everything I learn truly my own, and do my very best so that one year from now I will be working in the field that I aspire to enter.
Ultimately, I would like to work as a 3D Environment Artist in Europe within the gaming, VR, AR, and Metaverse industries.

“My ultimate goal is to work at overseas companies such as Riot, Blizzard, and Hazelight.”
I have always been very interested in games, animation, and films. As I was exposed to them frequently, I began to think, “I want to create something like this myself.” I chose this field because I wanted to bring what exists in my imagination into something I can actually see with my own eyes.
I also came to hope that my work could bring enjoyment to others. After seeing the works created by students of SF필름스쿨, I felt that I should study here.
Based on what I learn at the academy, I plan to gain practical experience at a domestic game company, and my ultimate goal is to work at overseas companies such as Riot Games, Blizzard Entertainment, and Hazelight Studios.

"My goal is to learn efficiently through a structured curriculum and achieve strong results."
I was fascinated by the direction of short-form graphic ads and animations, and that’s when I discovered the field of visual graphics. Through YouTube and online research, I was able to learn more in depth. I chose this field because the process of designing and rendering looked enjoyable, and I wanted to feel a sense of accomplishment from the final results.
While searching for a Maya academy, I came across SF Film School through YouTube and Naver. Among the 3D and Maya academies in Korea, it stood out as both systematic and professional, which led me to choose it. During the initial consultation, it matched my expectations in terms of professionalism, and I appreciated how comfortable it felt to ask questions. It gave me confidence that I would be able to communicate freely while studying there.
I am a student who strives to achieve my goals through persistence and consistent effort. With the academy’s professional guidance and structured curriculum, my aim is to learn effectively and produce strong outcomes.
As a complete beginner with no related background or experience, I had many concerns. I questioned whether it was the right path for me as a non-major, but I decided that it’s better to try what I truly want, even if it’s late. Receiving the acceptance email felt like taking a successful first step toward a new challenge. I’m ready to move forward and work hard alongside SF Film School to achieve my new goals.

"I will make the most of the opportunities given to me and continue to grow."
My interest in this field began when I watched works like Final Fantasy and Love, Death + Robots. I was impressed by their stunning visuals, and it made me curious about how such scenes are created. As I explored behind-the-scenes processes, I discovered this field and became deeply interested. I found it especially appealing that it allows the creation of scenes that are difficult to achieve in real life. I also believe this is a field where I can continue to grow in the future.
Among many well-known academies, I came across reviews saying that students from SF Film School have outstanding skills, which led me to visit for a consultation. The facilities were clean, and the instructor explained everything in a way that was easy to understand even for a beginner like me, which left a great impression. I also felt that the curriculum was well-structured and strongly connected to the industry, making me want to study there.
After receiving the acceptance news, my excitement grew even more. I am now eagerly looking forward to the day I can begin studying in earnest. Once I start, my goal is to build a solid foundation step by step and secure a position at a domestic company within a year. To achieve this, I will study hard and make the most of every opportunity given to me. I’m excited about the journey ahead.

"My dream is to return to my alma mater as a mentor and give a special lecture to my juniors."
I first became aware of this field before entering university, as I graduated from a VFX-related program. I chose this field because I found it fascinating that visual effects can create something out of nothing or remove elements seamlessly from existing footage.
As I became more aware of my limitations in VFX, I wanted to further develop my skills. I decided to enroll in SF Film School because its curriculum and teaching approach seemed to suit me well as a CG academy. The fact that there was an interview process made me feel that the school truly cares about its students, and I believed I would gain a lot from the experience.
Moving forward, I plan to fully commit to my studies and make the most of the classes. My goal is to secure a position at a great company, and eventually, return to my university as a mentor to give a special lecture to my juniors.

Lee Do Hyun
"I will build a solid and detailed foundation."
I wanted to turn my ideas into videos, so I started creating content using AI, uploading it to YouTube, and analyzing the results. Through continuous research and revisions, I focused on identifying the gap between what I envisioned and what I actually created, then working to close that gap. I found this entire process deeply engaging, and that is what led me to choose this field. I also discovered the field of Visual Graphics while trying to improve the quality of my videos.
The reason I chose SF Film School is because no one could say that its system, curriculum, or the quality of its portfolios is lacking. What stood out the most during my consultation was that the instructor approached me not with a sales mindset, but with the perspective and sincerity of an educator. Through that experience, I felt confident that if I bring passion and commitment to my studies at SF Film School, I can achieve the level of quality I am aiming for.
I believe I have the persistence to tackle each step thoroughly and move forward with focus. I also have strong communication skills and a mindset that pushes me to see projects through to completion. To maintain my initial motivation, I plan to establish a consistent system of self-discipline that allows me to absorb, apply, and expand on what I learn.
With the ambition to become a top-level professional in this industry, I will dedicate myself to building a strong and detailed foundation.

"Now that I’ve made a firm decision to learn, I want to fully commit and give it my best."
My interest in this field began in my first year of high school when I watched Along with the Gods and saw the CG depiction of the seven hells. It looked fascinating and genuinely fun. While working in 2D design, I felt that it focused heavily on the aesthetics of reduction, but with 3D and video, I could clearly see the quality improve in proportion to the time I invested. That made me more motivated, and I found a strong sense of satisfaction and achievement in the process.
As I searched for programs to learn, this academy stood out with the strongest portfolio quality, and it seemed to focus deeply on 3D and CG, which led me to apply. It also gave me a chance to reflect on the design work I had been doing, but ultimately, I wanted to move toward a field that interested me more. Now that I’ve been accepted, I hope to do well and make the most of this opportunity.
Although I explored various areas of design, I found myself most drawn to video and 3D. Even while studying on my own, there were challenges, but I genuinely enjoyed the process. Now that I’ve made a clear decision to pursue this path, I’m ready to work hard and fully dedicate myself.
