"I want to continue my career path in game design."

Through my major in spatial design, I learned that possible career paths include interior design, architecture, furniture design, and game level design. However, I wasn’t particularly interested in those fields, and while I was considering my options, I decided to pursue the area I truly enjoy—games.

I first heard about SF Film School through a friend, and it had a strong reputation in Daegu. When I visited the website, I also saw that it has multiple branches nationwide, which made it feel more reliable.

My interest in this academy was also influenced by my love for Overwatch. I really enjoy its cinematic series—the characters are not simple, but complex, each with their own story. I also liked how the short cinematic videos show how the characters come together as Overwatch, which made it easier to immerse myself in the game’s story compared to others.

Even when I had doubts about whether my major suited me, one of the reasons I didn’t give up on school was my dream of eventually working at Blizzard. During a leave of absence, I plan to attend SF Film School to learn Maya, and after returning to university, I intend to take video design classes as a minor. Ultimately, I want to continue building my path toward a career in game design.

"I will take an active approach to learning."

While watching works like Final Fantasy and Love, Death + Robots, I was impressed by their stunning visuals. This sparked my curiosity about how such scenes are created, and as I explored the production process, I discovered the field of Visual Graphics. I chose this field because I was fascinated by the ability to create scenes that are difficult to achieve in real life. I also believe it is a field with strong potential for continuous growth in the future.

As I became more determined to learn, I searched for an academy with a structured curriculum and came across SF Film School. The high quality of the students’ portfolios stood out to me, and I felt that the curriculum was well-organized and strongly connected to the industry, which made me want to study there.

Since this is a completely new field for me, I initially felt some anxiety about whether I would be able to do well. However, when I received the acceptance news, it made everything feel more real, and I became determined to build my skills properly from the basics.

With the goal of creating a strong portfolio, I will approach my studies with initiative and dedication.

"I’m very excited about the opportunity to learn and improve on my weaknesses."

While exploring art-related careers with the goal of working at a game company, I discovered the role of a 3D character modeler. As I continued studying this field, I found myself wanting to bring characters to life, add storytelling elements, and eventually create dynamic scenes combined with music. That’s how I gradually became deeply drawn to 3D.

Starting from zero in animation, I tried to learn 3D animation on my own by purchasing various online courses, but I found it challenging. Taking separate classes on topics like hair and facial modeling from different instructors made it difficult to understand how to connect and effectively use multiple programs. Rather than feeling improvement, I often felt like my learning was scattered and unclear.

That’s when I realized I needed a structured program that covers everything from beginning to end in one place, along with proper mentorship. I wanted to study with a focus on achieving high levels of realism, down to the fine details like skin pores in photorealistic characters. After seeing student portfolios on SF Film School’s YouTube channel, I decided to choose this academy.

I’m truly looking forward to learning and improving the areas where I’m lacking. I will work hard, ask questions, and stay committed so that I can reach the level of quality I envision in my work.

"I may be lacking as a beginner, but I will do my best and fully commit."

While studying ceramics, I realized that I enjoy bringing my ideas and imagination into reality, and that I am more drawn to three-dimensional work than flat, two-dimensional forms. As I explored fields that align with these interests, I discovered VFX and 3D animation.

I’ve always liked 3D animation, so it felt familiar and naturally interesting. VFX, on the other hand, is something I discovered more recently, and I was fascinated to learn that it is widely used in the films and dramas I often watch. The idea of turning imagination into something that feels real—creating what doesn’t exist as if it does—felt especially compelling. I’ve loved watching movies and dramas since I was young, so the opportunity to be part of the creation process is very appealing to me.

While searching for an academy to learn Maya, I came across SF Film School. From the website, including the introduction and curriculum, it gave me the impression of a professional institution with a well-structured and thorough teaching approach. I was also impressed by the high quality of the students’ work, which felt not just formal, but truly professional and artistic. That made me want to experience the classes myself.

I consider myself a positive person who doesn’t give up easily and stays persistent once I start something. Although I’m just beginning and may have many areas to improve, I will give it my all. I look forward to learning and growing through this experience.

"I will work as hard as possible and give it my full passion."

I have been interested in animation since I was young. I enjoyed drawing, which eventually led me to pursue it in university. During my first year, I took classes in various fields, including a Maya course. I initially chose animation because I needed a portfolio for transferring schools, but as I gathered references and worked on building my portfolio, my interest in the field naturally grew.

The honest reason I chose this academy is that it appeared to be the most professional and widely recognized among the options. Since I am currently attending university, I preferred to study offline, so I looked for academies in Daegu. Although I found this academy in a relatively short amount of time, after the consultation, I was drawn to its curriculum and began seriously considering enrolling.

The instructor I met during my first visit demonstrated strong professionalism and clear passion for teaching, which left a positive impression. I am a student with a strong willingness to learn. I actively ask questions about what I don’t know and aim to gain as much knowledge and skill as possible.

Although I may not have a lot of time, I intend to absorb as much as I can from the instructors. I will do my best and approach everything with full dedication and passion.

"I want to become someone irreplaceable."

I’ve long been interested in the graphics field because of the appeal of bringing imagined characters and environments to life in a realistic way. Through my research, I learned that the field is divided into various roles and gained a better understanding of what each involves. I chose this path because working in this industry would feel meaningful and closer to the kind of work I’ve always wanted to do.

There are many impressive works, such as Blizzard cinematics, League of Legends cinematics, Marvel films, and Interstellar, but the one that left the strongest impression on me was Avatar, which I watched in elementary school. The विशाल and majestic trees, along with the mysterious and vibrant world of Pandora, are still unforgettable. I remember feeling excited and happy throughout the entire film.

The feeling I have now, as I apply to SF Film School, is similar to what I felt back then. My desire to learn here remains the same, and it has only become stronger. Although this is a new field for me and I feel both excitement and uncertainty, I am determined to study hard, grow beyond just getting a job, and ultimately become someone truly irreplaceable.

"I will find the areas that suit my aptitude and approach them with sincerity."

I enjoy watching movies in theaters, and the visual effects I experience there bring me great excitement, which led me to explore the field of Visual Graphics. As a hobby, I draw portraits and strive for realistic depiction. I became interested in VFX because I realized that by learning it consistently, I could achieve the results I envision not only through drawing but also by creating them in 3D.

While researching VFX, I came across SF Film School and felt that it had clear differences compared to other academies. I was impressed by the quality of the students’ work, and the friendly consultation process gave me a strong sense of trust. Through the curriculum, I plan to identify the areas that best match my aptitude and fully commit to them.

I understand that I can sometimes be forgetful or feel a bit scattered in my approach. I would greatly appreciate your understanding and guidance as I work to stay focused and improve throughout the course.

"I want to grow into an artist with strong competitiveness in the global market."

I believe Visual Graphics is a field that is widely present and familiar in modern society. After entering my major and experiencing various disciplines, I developed a strong interest in motion graphics and modeling. While considering my career path and searching for a Maya academy, I came across a high-quality portfolio video on YouTube. This led me to SF Film School, and as I explored more graduate portfolios, my trust in the institution continued to grow.

During my visit, I had the chance to tour the facilities, and I was impressed by both the students’ passion and the school’s support system. It made me feel that, given the opportunity, I truly wanted to learn in this environment. At the time of applying, I felt that SF Film School was not just an academy, but a professional educational institution. Seeing the structured curriculum and the quality of student work gave me excitement and confidence that studying here would bring me closer to my goals.

The kindness of the instructors and their attentive approach during the consultation further strengthened my trust in the school. When I received the acceptance, I felt both excitement for a new challenge and a strong sense of responsibility. Knowing that the program is selective, I became even more determined to make the most of this opportunity and fully absorb everything it offers.

With continuous self-improvement and a strong sense of responsibility, I aim to develop my skills through professional training at SF Film School and produce high-quality work in the field of environment design. My goal is to create outstanding results based on what I learn here, and ultimately grow into an artist who is competitive on a global level. I will keep pushing myself to achieve this.

"I want to become a graphic designer who can share the sense of wonder I felt from CG with others."

When I first experienced VR in high school, I was struck by how new and immersive it felt. That moment made me want to create and share similarly awe-inspiring experiences with others. Among many academies, I wanted to learn from a place that produces the highest level of work. After attending a consultation, I felt a strong sense of trust—the curriculum and even the learning environment were structured in a very organized and professional way. I also appreciated that there was no pressure to enroll, and that they considered my situation and suggested alternative options, which further strengthened my trust.

I value attention to detail and have a mindset of turning weaknesses into strengths. I want to become a graphic designer who can deliver the same sense of awe and impact that I once experienced through CG. I was deeply impressed by the high-quality portfolios produced by students here, which motivated me to apply. Now that I have been accepted, I feel a strong commitment to create work at that same high level, and that determination has become one of my core goals.

"I will work hard to build a strong portfolio."

My interest in graphics began with 2D animation. Later, after experiencing console games, I became interested in 3D graphics, which led me to take courses in 3D modeling and game production at university. Among what I learned, I found the game field the most engaging, which is why I decided to pursue this path.

I started looking for an academy to create a portfolio for both my graduation project and future employment. I chose SF Film School because the quality of its portfolios is high and the curriculum appears to be well-structured. Overall, the facilities seem well-equipped, and I appreciated the quiet and focused learning environment.

Since I feel I didn’t fully learn these skills at school, I’m glad to have the opportunity to study them again properly. I will dedicate myself to building a strong portfolio.
