Interview with Byungchan Park
I wanted to incorporate as many of the technical skills required for compositing as possible into a chase sequence featuring an isolated special forces soldier being pursued by a drone.
The production process followed this order: storyboard → modeling → rigging → texturing and rendering → filming → matte work → compositing → color grading → sound.
I believe it is important to clearly decide which field you want to pursue and thoroughly research the technical skills and techniques required in that field. Based on that research, you should develop your storyboard and, most importantly, see the project through to completion.
Above all, the most important thing is to keep working hard and never give up until the very end.
SFFS Lab was a place where I had the opportunity to become close with many people and create many enjoyable memories. I would like to sincerely thank all the instructors who guided and supported me throughout the process of completing my project.
