TOIION
Toiion Animation Studios is a Korean animation production company established in 2006. Founded by Heo Jun-beom and Choi Yun-seok, the studio was based in Pangyo, Seongnam, South Korea. The studio has developed original animation projects and provided animation production services for international projects. Its production credits include Sofia the First, Fancy Nancy, Spirit Riding Free, and The Boss Baby: Back in the Crib. Through collaborations with global animation companies, Toiion Animation Studios has demonstrated Korea’s animation production capabilities to international audiences.

This character animation is about a colorless statue in a girl's room that uses cosmetics to paint itself.
The production process followed this order: storyboard → character modeling → rigging → animation → rendering → compositing and post-production.
When preparing a character animation, I believe it is especially helpful to start with a solid storyboard and design a character with a distinctive personality. By modifying or exaggerating the character's appearance to fit the flow of the story and emphasize its unique traits, the story can be communicated more effectively.
When working in the workshop, you are bound to encounter unexpected challenges and go through various trials and errors. For this reason, preparing the storyboard and character model before entering the workshop can help shorten the overall production period.
It was a valuable opportunity to review the various programs I had learned and discover new approaches to the production process. When I was preparing the storyboard, it felt impossible to know when I would finally finish the project, but looking back now, I realize how quickly the time passed.
I regret not being able to try more new things because I was so focused on finishing the project quickly. Although it was difficult at times when I encountered various challenges, it was ultimately a meaningful and valuable learning experience.
