Today, SF Film School held a graduation project presentation for graduates Heo Se-gyun, Choi Ha-young, and Yoon Tae-hyun. Heo Se-gyun created a 3D modeling portfolio featuring Bruce Lee, his childhood idol, as well as a documentary-style scene of a cormorant and an elderly fisherman. Inspired by the vintage atmosphere of the film Identity, Choi Ha-young recreated the Four Aces Motel in California, the movie's actual filming location, and enhanced the environment with dramatic storm effects. Yoon Tae-hyun created two portfolios: "Hope," which conveys a hopeful message of new life emerging as the seasons and time pass in an abandoned power plant in Belgium, and "Journey," a Houdini-based motion graphics project presented in a gallery-style exhibition format. We will continue to support all three graduates as they grow into world-class artists.

ScanlineVFX Studios have been prominent in the industry for the past 25 years. Founded in Germany, the company expanded to Los Angeles in 2007 and opened in 2011 the largest studio in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia. Westworld Studios is a gathering of professionals with over 20 years of experience. Born in October 2018. From 1998 Korea's first VFX blockbuster movie 'Exorcism' to dramas 'Goblin' and 'Mr. Sunshine'. VFX directors and artists who participated in 'Sunshine' and 200 movies and dramas gathered in one place.

June 2022 Monthly Best goes to Kim Hae-sol, who is creating a portfolio with a laboratory concept focused on the discovery of a never-before-seen new creature.

Today, SF Film School held a graduation project presentation for graduates Seo Bo-kyung, Lee Yeon-joo, and Oh Won-taek. Seo Bo-kyung presented a hard-surface modeling portfolio focused on “port and transportation,” featuring trucks, container ships, airplanes, and cranes, all expressed through various modeling techniques. Lee Yeon-joo created a portfolio inspired by the film Oldboy, selecting its most memorable scenes and reinterpreting them as if they were a cinematic trailer. Oh Won-taek developed a portfolio centered on the “F-Suit” robot from the film Avatar, using it as the main subject of his work. We will continue to support all three graduates as they grow into world-class artists.

Congratulations to HyeJin Joo, who took the regular program in SF Film School, for getting a job offer from DEXTER DIGITAL STUDIOS. DEXTER DIGITAL STUDIOS is a multi production studio that participates in every stage of the production pipeline. It is a studio that created “Goblin” and “Along with the Gods”, and they own the best facility and technology in Asia. Their departments are divided into Dexter Pictures, Dexter Digital, Dexter Workshop, and DEXTER The Eye, and all of their employees are ambitious to become the best VFX artists in the world.

Congratulations to Yoonsun Kim, who took the regular program in SF Film School, for getting a job offer from LOCUS STUDIOS. The Locus Studio is a video content creating studio based on high-quality CGI/ VFX. Founded in 2009, their CGI technology is known to be one of the bests in the industry. They own a movie production which releases more than eighty films since 1995 and an animation studio. They own the most high end CGI technology in their production and they create high quality contests. Their artworks are fresh and new in style, and they are breaking the limit of technology.

Today, SF Film School held a graduation project presentation for graduates Tak Bo-mi and Kim Yoon-seo. Kim Yoon-seo’s portfolio featured a retro concept set in an arcade environment. Tak Bo-mi’s portfolio was presented as a captivating nature documentary-style work. We will continue to support both graduates as they grow into world-class artists.
