SF Film School
Today we bring you the Rookie Awards 2020 news that all of you can be proud of. In this competition, many students from SFFSLAB submitted outstanding works to the Rookie Awards 2020. There, our SF Film School achieved the splendor of being ranked 7th in the world (1st in Asia) among 524 schools (educational institutions) worldwide in the VFX sector.

September 2020 Monthly Best goes to students Lee Sun-young and Seo Ji-hoon. Lee Sun-young planned a project featuring a crocodile placed in a real-world location, allowing for a more detailed and realistic expression. Seo Ji-hoon created a project based on the cyberpunk concept of Leon and Mathilda.

The work of SF Film School student Sunghyun Park has been selected and registered in the LEARNING of the Rookies Awards, a global competition. I made a squirrel myself from scratch, and he gave me details about the precautions and know-how when working with fur. It is a model for SF film school students and artists around the world who are learning CG.

Today, there was a presentation session of Team Project 80, Jinhoon Jeong, alumni. In SF Film School, there is a team project where several people come together as a team to create a single work. Team Project 80 introduced me to a way of working where I felt communication skills, leadership, and a sense of responsibility through a team project. Jinhoon Jeong, a graduate, also had a beneficial time giving current students know-how and advice on work.
