The program did a great job of matching me with the courses and software that best suited my goals, and since I was still unfamiliar with 3D programs, I was able to learn everything step by step from the fundamentals.
Even when I struggled to remember things or found myself stumbling through certain tasks, the instructor always took the time to explain them patiently and kindly. I also really appreciated the classroom environment, where classmates actively shared knowledge and helped one another whenever someone was having difficulty.
Another thing I was grateful for was the many practical tips and workflow techniques the instructor shared, helping us work more efficiently and effectively. Whenever I felt discouraged or lost confidence, the instructor was always there with words of encouragement, creating a positive and motivating atmosphere that helped everyone keep moving forward together.
I’m truly thankful for everything I learned, and I plan to continue reviewing and applying these lessons as I work toward completing my portfolio successfully.

Woon, you worked incredibly hard throughout the course!
Honestly, I was simply doing what an instructor should do. 😊 After teaching students for many years, it becomes pretty easy to tell when someone has a question or wants to say something but is hesitating to speak up.
What impressed me most about you was how well you organized your notes and how effectively you turned what you learned into your own knowledge. Whenever I explained something, I could clearly see that you were making the effort to fully understand and absorb it, which made teaching you especially rewarding.
Thank you for all your hard work and dedication throughout the course. I’m looking forward to seeing you again in the portfolio class, and I’m excited to see how your skills continue to develop.
Great job, and see you soon! 😊

While studying on my own, I often realized that this field is far from an easy path. There were many moments when I felt like I had reached my limits, and it was around that time that I discovered the academy and decided to enroll.
Before the classes began, I had a lot of concerns and spent a great deal of time wondering whether I had made the right choice. However, as the course progressed, I gradually gained confidence and even began to enjoy working with programs that had once seemed intimidating and difficult.
Although the course lasted for quite a long time, it felt like it passed by incredibly quickly. Looking back at where I was before I started, I believe I’ve made significant progress in a relatively short period of time.
Another aspect I truly appreciated was studying alongside classmates who shared similar goals and ambitions. Being surrounded by such motivated people provided constant inspiration and encouragement throughout the journey.
I would like to sincerely thank my instructor for creating such a positive learning environment and for always teaching with enthusiasm and dedication.

Dongseon, you worked very hard throughout the course!
From the very beginning, you approached your studies consistently and diligently, and it has been great to see how much your skills have improved over time. The progress you've made is clearly visible.
I also heard that you've been participating in study groups outside of class. That kind of passion for learning is incredibly valuable. Every bit of extra effort and experience you gain now will become a strong foundation for your future growth and will undoubtedly help you move ahead more quickly than many others.
As you continue into the portfolio class, I’ll be there to support you whenever I can. At the same time, I hope you continue sharing knowledge with your classmates, because teaching others is also a great way to deepen your own understanding and skills.
Keep up the excellent work, continue building your experience, and I’m looking forward to seeing the amazing projects you create in the future! 😊

At first, Maya felt unfamiliar and difficult to learn, but as time went on and I became more comfortable with the tools, I started to genuinely enjoy the process. Looking back, I feel proud of how much I was able to learn and accomplish throughout the course.
One thing I do regret is having to return to Canada before the program was finished. However, I’m grateful that I was able to continue learning through the online classes and stay on track with my studies despite the distance.
Overall, it was a valuable experience, and I’m thankful for everything I learned along the way.
Instructor's Message
You worked very hard throughout the course!
I agree—it would have been great if we could have continued learning together in person until the very end. It was unfortunate that you had to return to Canada partway through the program.
That being said, I was very impressed by your commitment to continuing the course online after moving. Even from overseas, you remained engaged and participated actively in the classes, which was wonderful to see.
I hope you continue learning, developing your skills, and building your knowledge moving forward. Most importantly, I hope you successfully complete your portfolio, create work you can be proud of, and achieve your goal of finding a great position in the industry.
Wishing you all the best in your future studies and career! 😊

It’s hard to believe that the Maya course has already come to an end—the time seemed to pass by so quickly. Even though I still feel like there’s so much left to learn, when I look back at where I started, knowing absolutely nothing about Maya, I can see just how much I’ve grown.
Not only did I gain valuable knowledge and skills, but I also had the chance to meet wonderful people, which made my time at the academy even more meaningful and enjoyable.
One thing that especially stayed with me was something the instructor said during the very first class: “Don’t be afraid to make mistakes—just try it.” Looking back, I think I really embraced that mindset throughout the course. Whenever I clicked something and caused an error, I learned from it. Whenever something worked successfully, I learned from that too. It may sound simple, but it turned out to be one of the most important lessons I took away from the class.
To everyone in Class 489 and to our instructor, I wish you all nothing but happiness and success. As for my portfolio, I’ll make sure to work incredibly hard and put all of the instructor’s feedback to good use! ✨
Instructor's Message
Hyewon, great job and congratulations on completing the course!
I'm really happy to hear that you remembered what I said on the first day and continued challenging yourself by trying new things. When you're learning something new, making mistakes is not only normal—it's necessary. This is the best time to experiment and learn from those mistakes while you still have guidance and support available.
Later on in a professional environment, even small mistakes can have significant consequences, so it’s important to gain as much experience as possible now and learn through trial and error.
You participated actively throughout the course, asked plenty of questions whenever you were curious about something, and consistently showed a strong willingness to learn. That made it very enjoyable to teach you. And yes... there may have been the occasional late arrival here and there... 😊
Seeing your attitude and effort throughout the course gives me confidence that you'll continue to do well moving forward. Even after you move into the portfolio class, don’t hesitate to ask questions whenever you need help.
I believe in your potential, and I’m looking forward to seeing the portfolio you create. Keep working hard all the way to the finish line—fighting! 💪✨

I’m grateful that I had the opportunity to take such a valuable course during what felt like both a short and long journey through the Maya program.
When I first started, Maya itself felt very unfamiliar and intimidating. Now, the portfolio projects I will create in the future and the career path that lies ahead after graduation still feel somewhat uncertain. However, I believe that if I continue learning and improving step by step, I’ll be able to achieve my goals.
I plan to work hard on my portfolio and do my best to achieve positive results. Thank you for all the guidance and support throughout the course.
Instructor's Message
Seungjin, great job and congratulations on completing the course!
I know that learning Maya can feel overwhelming and uncertain at times, especially when you're encountering so many new concepts and workflows for the first time. However, you've already made significant progress, and I hope you continue building on that growth as you move into the portfolio class.
Rather than focusing on worries, try to focus on the excitement of what lies ahead. It's completely natural to feel uncertain when starting a new journey, but remember that you won't be facing it alone. You'll have instructors and mentors available to guide and support you throughout the portfolio process.
Don't hesitate to ask questions whenever you need help. The more actively you engage with the process, the more you'll learn and grow.
You worked very hard throughout the Maya course, and I wish you the very best as you continue toward creating an outstanding portfolio and achieving your goals. Keep up the great work! 😊

It’s hard to believe that the Maya course is already coming to an end—the time seems to have passed so quickly.
During each class, we would listen to the instructor’s explanations and then spend time practicing what we had learned. Whenever I became confused or encountered something I didn’t understand during the exercises, the instructor would patiently explain it again step by step in a way that was easy to follow. That support was incredibly helpful throughout the course.
I also appreciated being able to ask questions while reviewing the material at home. Whenever I ran into something I didn’t understand, the instructor was always willing to help and provide guidance.
The curriculum itself was very well organized and structured. Even as someone whose academic background is completely unrelated and who started with virtually no knowledge of Maya, I never felt overwhelmed or left behind. It was a relatively short period of time, but I learned a tremendous amount and gained valuable experience.
Thank you for all the guidance and support throughout the course.
Instructor's Message
Minju, thank you for working so hard and staying committed throughout the course!
Learning a completely new program is never easy, and I'm sure there were many challenges along the way. Even so, I could clearly see how much effort you put into your studies and how dedicated you were to improving. Because of that, I believe you've grown tremendously throughout this learning process.
Of course, there will still be things you don't know yet—and that's completely normal. Growth comes from continuing to ask questions and seeking answers whenever you encounter something unfamiliar during your work. So don't hesitate to keep asking and exploring.
For now, focus on making the most of the remaining classes and continue learning as much as you can. After that, we'll work together on creating your portfolio and taking the next step toward your goals.
Keep up the great work, and I'm looking forward to seeing everything you accomplish moving forward! 😊

There were many occasions throughout the course when I had questions, and I’m very grateful that the instructor was always willing to take the time to explain things clearly and help me understand.
I also found the storyboard presentation session especially valuable. It gave me an opportunity to think more seriously about my career path and portfolio direction. In particular, it helped me identify areas where I still need improvement and better understand what skills and knowledge I should focus on developing moving forward. That insight has been incredibly useful in planning my future goals and studies.
In addition, I really enjoyed learning alongside the members of Class 485. Sharing information, exchanging ideas, and studying together allowed me to learn a great deal while also gaining positive motivation and encouragement from my classmates.
Thank you for all the support and guidance throughout this experience. 😊
Instructor's Message
I know it couldn’t have been easy balancing your studies with your academic responsibilities, so I was always pleased to see how hard you worked to stay engaged and participate actively in class.
I’m especially glad to hear that the storyboard presentation achieved its purpose. One of the most important parts of growth is recognizing your strengths and weaknesses—continuing to improve the areas that need development while building on the skills you already do well.
That mindset will become even more important in the portfolio class. The portfolio process is about continuously developing yourself, refining your abilities, and growing into a professional who is ready to enter the industry. It takes dedication and a great deal of effort, but I believe that if you stay focused and committed, you’ll be able to achieve the goals you’ve set for yourself.
You worked very hard throughout the course. Congratulations on everything you've accomplished so far, and I wish you the very best moving forward! 😊

I often found myself asking questions late in the evening because of my schedule, so I would like to sincerely thank my instructor for always responding so kindly and patiently.
One of the most rewarding parts of learning Maya was reaching the point where I could finally do things on my own that once made me think, “What is this even supposed to do?” Those moments gave me a tremendous sense of accomplishment and made all the effort feel worthwhile. 😊
Throughout the course, I also came to truly understand the importance of consistent review and practice. More than anything else, I learned that regularly revisiting and reinforcing what you've learned is essential for improvement.
So, my advice is simple: don't skip your reviews! 😊
Instructor's Message
You came from a background with very little experience using computers in this kind of environment, so I know there were many challenges along the way. Even so, I was always impressed by how hard you worked and how committed you were to pursuing your goals.
Seeing that level of dedication made me want to support and help you even more throughout the course. And yes, you're absolutely right—reviewing and practicing what you've learned is incredibly important, especially when you're entering a completely new field and learning unfamiliar tools and workflows.
What was most rewarding for me was watching your skills steadily improve over time. Seeing that growth and confidence develop little by little was wonderful to witness.
I hope you continue building on everything you've learned through the Maya course and use those skills as a foundation for even greater achievements in the future.
Thank you for all your hard work throughout the class, and I wish you the very best moving forward. Keep up the great work, and fighting! 💪😊

Entering a completely new field that I had never experienced before was honestly intimidating at first. However, thanks to the step-by-step guidance throughout the Maya course, I was able to gradually build my understanding and eventually discover how enjoyable the learning process could be.
Although I still have many areas where I need to improve, I’ve never felt like giving up. Instead, the more I learn, the more motivated I become to continue studying and developing my skills.
There were definitely challenging moments along the way, but whenever I struggled, the concepts were explained repeatedly and patiently until I understood them. That support helped me overcome many obstacles and continue moving forward with confidence.
Thank you for all the guidance and encouragement throughout the course!

It's completely natural to feel nervous when taking on something new. Most people feel that way when stepping into an unfamiliar field for the first time.
That being said, from what I've seen, Seohyun, you have a real talent for learning new things. I was especially impressed by how focused and attentive you were during class. Not once did I see your concentration waver, and I truly appreciated the effort you put into every lesson.
Balancing work and study is far more difficult than it sounds, which makes your dedication even more admirable. You've done an excellent job managing both responsibilities while continuing to grow and improve.
I'll continue supporting you however I can, so let's make sure you finish the remaining courses successfully, create an outstanding portfolio, and achieve your goal of breaking into the industry.

When I first started learning Maya, I knew absolutely nothing about it, so the whole experience felt very overwhelming. Looking back now, it's amazing to see how quickly I became comfortable with the software and how much I've learned over time.
Even when I first came in for a consultation, I had a lot of doubts and kept wondering whether I would actually be able to do this. However, thanks to the instructor's patient explanations and constant support, I was able to learn step by step and build confidence along the way.
What makes me happiest is that I can now use many of Maya's basic functions on my own without needing help. It's both surprising and rewarding to see how far I've come. Taking time away from school has turned out to be a very meaningful and productive experience, and I'm truly grateful for that.
Most of all, I'd like to thank my instructor for always taking the time to answer my questions, no matter how many I asked. Your guidance made a huge difference in my learning journey.

Since you were sitting right next to me, I'm sure my voice was in your ears quite a lot, but you always attended class with a great attitude and never complained. I really appreciated that.
I still remember when you told me that you had taken a leave of absence from your university in the United States and come all the way to Korea to study Maya. Hearing that made me feel even more determined to share as much knowledge and experience as I possibly could.
I'm very happy to hear that you enjoyed the course and found it valuable. That means a lot to me as an instructor.
When you return to the United States, I hope you continue approaching your studies with the same dedication and enthusiasm you've shown here. Keep working hard in your remaining courses, continue developing your skills, and most importantly, achieve the goals you've set for yourself.
Thank you again for all your hard work, and I’ll be cheering you on every step of the way. Best of luck! 😊✨

I enrolled in the program because I wanted to study 3D modeling. Since every course covered areas that were completely new to me, I found many aspects of the learning process challenging at first. However, as time went on, I gradually began to understand the workflows and develop a better sense of how things worked.
With each step, I gained a little more confidence and familiarity with the tools, which made the learning process increasingly enjoyable. Although there were plenty of challenges along the way, being able to see my own progress made studying both rewarding and fun.

It's been great to see your progress throughout the course. I hope you continue building on that foundation, successfully complete the remaining classes, and create an outstanding project that you can be proud of.

When I first started the Maya course, I felt completely overwhelmed. The only experience I had with 3D modeling was spending about a week briefly experimenting with Blender, so Maya felt like something incredibly distant and difficult to approach.
I still remember creating simple projects, such as the LEGO model we worked on early in the course. Looking back now, it feels like something I could complete quite easily, but at the time I had no idea where to begin or how to approach the process.
However, through learning alongside my instructor and classmates, I was able to continuously discover new concepts and develop new skills. As time passed, I could clearly see how much I had improved compared to when I first started, and that realization gave me a great sense of accomplishment and pride.
Moving forward, I plan to keep practicing, continue developing my skills, and work hard to become a better artist. SF Film School, fighting!

It's completely natural to feel overwhelmed at the beginning. Taking on something entirely new can seem intimidating when you have little or no prior experience. That's why it's especially rewarding to hear that you can now look back and recognize how much you've grown. Seeing you feel proud of your progress makes me proud as well.
As you continue your journey, remember that Maya is only one of many tools you'll encounter, and most of them come with their own challenges. The key is to keep learning, stay persistent, and continue putting in the effort.
Although the Maya course has come to an end, I'll still be keeping an eye on your progress and cheering you on from afar. Soon you'll move on to the portfolio class, where you'll begin creating portfolio projects. That stage will require even more dedication and effort than before, but I know you're capable of rising to the challenge.
Keep pushing forward, stay motivated, and never hesitate to ask questions whenever you need help. Best of luck, and keep up the great work! 😊

Exploring different perspectives and gaining exposure to real-world experiences can provide important insights for your future growth.

Honestly, I’m not too worried about you. You have strong abilities, you learn quickly, and you've shown solid potential throughout the course. One thing I noticed, though, is that it's often easy to tell which topics genuinely interest you and which ones don't quite capture your attention.
Even so, some of those less exciting topics are essential fundamentals that every artist needs. If you continue reviewing those core concepts carefully and build a strong foundation, I have no doubt you'll be well prepared for the future.
Keep developing your skills, stay curious, and don't overlook the basics. If you do that, I believe you'll be in a great position to achieve your goals and succeed in the industry.
