Erica Suzanne Mare

Hello, my name is Erica.I grew up on a small farm in South Africa and I currently work as an English teacher in Korea.English is not my mother tongue — my first language is Afrikaans. I’ve always wanted to do something creative and work with computers,so I’m very happy to finally be pursuing that dream now.

After researching many institutions, I chose SF Film School because the hands-on, practical training classes were the most impressive.I love the interactive teaching style, the freedom during lessons, and the great campus atmosphere.

At first, Maya felt difficult, but as I started creating things like chairs, desks, and props, I gained confidence.My first goal is to make a short animation about my hometown farm.In the future, I want to work in creative fields such as music videos, K-dramas, films, and games.
