Meet Our Accepted Students
“I felt a mix of excitement and nervousness at the thought of learning something new. I hope to work diligently and one day join a studio in Vancouver…”
Jeon Ji-ho
I realized that it’s difficult to find any film or animation I enjoy that doesn’t involve computer graphics, and that sparked my interest. I began researching the industry on my own through YouTube. I tend to make decisions slowly because I like to take my time, research carefully, and only commit when I’m fully convinced. But watching other artists refine every detail and solve problems one by one made me want to experience that same sense of accomplishment someday. That’s when I decided to pursue this path.
Considering the industry’s promising future, my own strengths, and the practical factors involved, I began searching for an academy that I could afford. That’s how I found SF Film School. In my case, I’ve always aimed for an overseas career—especially in Vancouver or Montreal—so choosing SF Film School, which even has an office in Vancouver and offers employment support, felt like the obvious decision.
I could clearly see the difference in quality when watching the reels on YouTube compared to other academies, and when I visited for a consultation, I felt reassured by the environment that seemed ideal for studying.
The thought of learning something completely new made me both excited and nervous. I want to work hard and eventually get a job at a studio in Vancouver.
