"My goal is to learn efficiently through a structured curriculum and achieve strong results."
I was fascinated by the direction of short-form graphic ads and animations, and that’s when I discovered the field of visual graphics. Through YouTube and online research, I was able to learn more in depth. I chose this field because the process of designing and rendering looked enjoyable, and I wanted to feel a sense of accomplishment from the final results.
While searching for a Maya academy, I came across SF Film School through YouTube and Naver. Among the 3D and Maya academies in Korea, it stood out as both systematic and professional, which led me to choose it. During the initial consultation, it matched my expectations in terms of professionalism, and I appreciated how comfortable it felt to ask questions. It gave me confidence that I would be able to communicate freely while studying there.
I am a student who strives to achieve my goals through persistence and consistent effort. With the academy’s professional guidance and structured curriculum, my aim is to learn effectively and produce strong outcomes.
As a complete beginner with no related background or experience, I had many concerns. I questioned whether it was the right path for me as a non-major, but I decided that it’s better to try what I truly want, even if it’s late. Receiving the acceptance email felt like taking a successful first step toward a new challenge. I’m ready to move forward and work hard alongside SF Film School to achieve my new goals.

"I will make the most of the opportunities given to me and continue to grow."
My interest in this field began when I watched works like Final Fantasy and Love, Death + Robots. I was impressed by their stunning visuals, and it made me curious about how such scenes are created. As I explored behind-the-scenes processes, I discovered this field and became deeply interested. I found it especially appealing that it allows the creation of scenes that are difficult to achieve in real life. I also believe this is a field where I can continue to grow in the future.
Among many well-known academies, I came across reviews saying that students from SF Film School have outstanding skills, which led me to visit for a consultation. The facilities were clean, and the instructor explained everything in a way that was easy to understand even for a beginner like me, which left a great impression. I also felt that the curriculum was well-structured and strongly connected to the industry, making me want to study there.
After receiving the acceptance news, my excitement grew even more. I am now eagerly looking forward to the day I can begin studying in earnest. Once I start, my goal is to build a solid foundation step by step and secure a position at a domestic company within a year. To achieve this, I will study hard and make the most of every opportunity given to me. I’m excited about the journey ahead.

"My dream is to return to my alma mater as a mentor and give a special lecture to my juniors."
I first became aware of this field before entering university, as I graduated from a VFX-related program. I chose this field because I found it fascinating that visual effects can create something out of nothing or remove elements seamlessly from existing footage.
As I became more aware of my limitations in VFX, I wanted to further develop my skills. I decided to enroll in SF Film School because its curriculum and teaching approach seemed to suit me well as a CG academy. The fact that there was an interview process made me feel that the school truly cares about its students, and I believed I would gain a lot from the experience.
Moving forward, I plan to fully commit to my studies and make the most of the classes. My goal is to secure a position at a great company, and eventually, return to my university as a mentor to give a special lecture to my juniors.

Lee Dong Hyun
"I will build a solid and detailed foundation."
I wanted to turn my ideas into videos, so I started creating content using AI, uploading it to YouTube, and analyzing the results. Through continuous research and revisions, I focused on identifying the gap between what I envisioned and what I actually created, then working to close that gap. I found this entire process deeply engaging, and that is what led me to choose this field. I also discovered the field of Visual Graphics while trying to improve the quality of my videos.
The reason I chose SF Film School is because no one could say that its system, curriculum, or the quality of its portfolios is lacking. What stood out the most during my consultation was that the instructor approached me not with a sales mindset, but with the perspective and sincerity of an educator. Through that experience, I felt confident that if I bring passion and commitment to my studies at SF Film School, I can achieve the level of quality I am aiming for.
I believe I have the persistence to tackle each step thoroughly and move forward with focus. I also have strong communication skills and a mindset that pushes me to see projects through to completion. To maintain my initial motivation, I plan to establish a consistent system of self-discipline that allows me to absorb, apply, and expand on what I learn.
With the ambition to become a top-level professional in this industry, I will dedicate myself to building a strong and detailed foundation.

"Now that I’ve made a firm decision to learn, I want to fully commit and give it my best."
My interest in this field began in my first year of high school when I watched Along with the Gods and saw the CG depiction of the seven hells. It looked fascinating and genuinely fun. While working in 2D design, I felt that it focused heavily on the aesthetics of reduction, but with 3D and video, I could clearly see the quality improve in proportion to the time I invested. That made me more motivated, and I found a strong sense of satisfaction and achievement in the process.
As I searched for programs to learn, this academy stood out with the strongest portfolio quality, and it seemed to focus deeply on 3D and CG, which led me to apply. It also gave me a chance to reflect on the design work I had been doing, but ultimately, I wanted to move toward a field that interested me more. Now that I’ve been accepted, I hope to do well and make the most of this opportunity.
Although I explored various areas of design, I found myself most drawn to video and 3D. Even while studying on my own, there were challenges, but I genuinely enjoyed the process. Now that I’ve made a clear decision to pursue this path, I’m ready to work hard and fully dedicate myself.

Kim Da Yun
"I want to continue my career path in game design."
Through my major in spatial design, I learned that possible career paths include interior design, architecture, furniture design, and game level design. However, I wasn’t particularly interested in those fields, and while I was considering my options, I decided to pursue the area I truly enjoy—games.
I first heard about SF Film School through a friend, and it had a strong reputation in Daegu. When I visited the website, I also saw that it has multiple branches nationwide, which made it feel more reliable.
My interest in this academy was also influenced by my love for Overwatch. I really enjoy its cinematic series—the characters are not simple, but complex, each with their own story. I also liked how the short cinematic videos show how the characters come together as Overwatch, which made it easier to immerse myself in the game’s story compared to others.
Even when I had doubts about whether my major suited me, one of the reasons I didn’t give up on school was my dream of eventually working at Blizzard. During a leave of absence, I plan to attend SF Film School to learn Maya, and after returning to university, I intend to take video design classes as a minor. Ultimately, I want to continue building my path toward a career in game design.

Kim Mu Seong
"I will take an active approach to learning."
While watching works like Final Fantasy and Love, Death + Robots, I was impressed by their stunning visuals. This sparked my curiosity about how such scenes are created, and as I explored the production process, I discovered the field of Visual Graphics. I chose this field because I was fascinated by the ability to create scenes that are difficult to achieve in real life. I also believe it is a field with strong potential for continuous growth in the future.
As I became more determined to learn, I searched for an academy with a structured curriculum and came across SF Film School. The high quality of the students’ portfolios stood out to me, and I felt that the curriculum was well-organized and strongly connected to the industry, which made me want to study there.
Since this is a completely new field for me, I initially felt some anxiety about whether I would be able to do well. However, when I received the acceptance news, it made everything feel more real, and I became determined to build my skills properly from the basics.
With the goal of creating a strong portfolio, I will approach my studies with initiative and dedication.

Kim Min Ji
"I’m very excited about the opportunity to learn and improve on my weaknesses."
While exploring art-related careers with the goal of working at a game company, I discovered the role of a 3D character modeler. As I continued studying this field, I found myself wanting to bring characters to life, add storytelling elements, and eventually create dynamic scenes combined with music. That’s how I gradually became deeply drawn to 3D.
Starting from zero in animation, I tried to learn 3D animation on my own by purchasing various online courses, but I found it challenging. Taking separate classes on topics like hair and facial modeling from different instructors made it difficult to understand how to connect and effectively use multiple programs. Rather than feeling improvement, I often felt like my learning was scattered and unclear.
That’s when I realized I needed a structured program that covers everything from beginning to end in one place, along with proper mentorship. I wanted to study with a focus on achieving high levels of realism, down to the fine details like skin pores in photorealistic characters. After seeing student portfolios on SF Film School’s YouTube channel, I decided to choose this academy.
I’m truly looking forward to learning and improving the areas where I’m lacking. I will work hard, ask questions, and stay committed so that I can reach the level of quality I envision in my work.

Cho Young Seo
"I may be lacking as a beginner, but I will do my best and fully commit."
While studying ceramics, I realized that I enjoy bringing my ideas and imagination into reality, and that I am more drawn to three-dimensional work than flat, two-dimensional forms. As I explored fields that align with these interests, I discovered VFX and 3D animation.
I’ve always liked 3D animation, so it felt familiar and naturally interesting. VFX, on the other hand, is something I discovered more recently, and I was fascinated to learn that it is widely used in the films and dramas I often watch. The idea of turning imagination into something that feels real—creating what doesn’t exist as if it does—felt especially compelling. I’ve loved watching movies and dramas since I was young, so the opportunity to be part of the creation process is very appealing to me.
While searching for an academy to learn Maya, I came across SF Film School. From the website, including the introduction and curriculum, it gave me the impression of a professional institution with a well-structured and thorough teaching approach. I was also impressed by the high quality of the students’ work, which felt not just formal, but truly professional and artistic. That made me want to experience the classes myself.
I consider myself a positive person who doesn’t give up easily and stays persistent once I start something. Although I’m just beginning and may have many areas to improve, I will give it my all. I look forward to learning and growing through this experience.

Cho Won Seo
"I will work as hard as possible and give it my full passion."
I have been interested in animation since I was young. I enjoyed drawing, which eventually led me to pursue it in university. During my first year, I took classes in various fields, including a Maya course. I initially chose animation because I needed a portfolio for transferring schools, but as I gathered references and worked on building my portfolio, my interest in the field naturally grew.
The honest reason I chose this academy is that it appeared to be the most professional and widely recognized among the options. Since I am currently attending university, I preferred to study offline, so I looked for academies in Daegu. Although I found this academy in a relatively short amount of time, after the consultation, I was drawn to its curriculum and began seriously considering enrolling.
The instructor I met during my first visit demonstrated strong professionalism and clear passion for teaching, which left a positive impression. I am a student with a strong willingness to learn. I actively ask questions about what I don’t know and aim to gain as much knowledge and skill as possible.
Although I may not have a lot of time, I intend to absorb as much as I can from the instructors. I will do my best and approach everything with full dedication and passion.

Han Ye Dam
"I want to become someone irreplaceable."
I’ve long been interested in the graphics field because of the appeal of bringing imagined characters and environments to life in a realistic way. Through my research, I learned that the field is divided into various roles and gained a better understanding of what each involves. I chose this path because working in this industry would feel meaningful and closer to the kind of work I’ve always wanted to do.
There are many impressive works, such as Blizzard cinematics, League of Legends cinematics, Marvel films, and Interstellar, but the one that left the strongest impression on me was Avatar, which I watched in elementary school. The विशाल and majestic trees, along with the mysterious and vibrant world of Pandora, are still unforgettable. I remember feeling excited and happy throughout the entire film.
The feeling I have now, as I apply to SF Film School, is similar to what I felt back then. My desire to learn here remains the same, and it has only become stronger. Although this is a new field for me and I feel both excitement and uncertainty, I am determined to study hard, grow beyond just getting a job, and ultimately become someone truly irreplaceable.

Park Jong Yun
"I will find the areas that suit my aptitude and approach them with sincerity."
I enjoy watching movies in theaters, and the visual effects I experience there bring me great excitement, which led me to explore the field of Visual Graphics. As a hobby, I draw portraits and strive for realistic depiction. I became interested in VFX because I realized that by learning it consistently, I could achieve the results I envision not only through drawing but also by creating them in 3D.
While researching VFX, I came across SF Film School and felt that it had clear differences compared to other academies. I was impressed by the quality of the students’ work, and the friendly consultation process gave me a strong sense of trust. Through the curriculum, I plan to identify the areas that best match my aptitude and fully commit to them.
I understand that I can sometimes be forgetful or feel a bit scattered in my approach. I would greatly appreciate your understanding and guidance as I work to stay focused and improve throughout the course.

"I want to grow into an artist with strong competitiveness in the global market."
I believe Visual Graphics is a field that is widely present and familiar in modern society. After entering my major and experiencing various disciplines, I developed a strong interest in motion graphics and modeling. While considering my career path and searching for a Maya academy, I came across a high-quality portfolio video on YouTube. This led me to SF Film School, and as I explored more graduate portfolios, my trust in the institution continued to grow.
During my visit, I had the chance to tour the facilities, and I was impressed by both the students’ passion and the school’s support system. It made me feel that, given the opportunity, I truly wanted to learn in this environment. At the time of applying, I felt that SF Film School was not just an academy, but a professional educational institution. Seeing the structured curriculum and the quality of student work gave me excitement and confidence that studying here would bring me closer to my goals.
The kindness of the instructors and their attentive approach during the consultation further strengthened my trust in the school. When I received the acceptance, I felt both excitement for a new challenge and a strong sense of responsibility. Knowing that the program is selective, I became even more determined to make the most of this opportunity and fully absorb everything it offers.
With continuous self-improvement and a strong sense of responsibility, I aim to develop my skills through professional training at SF Film School and produce high-quality work in the field of environment design. My goal is to create outstanding results based on what I learn here, and ultimately grow into an artist who is competitive on a global level. I will keep pushing myself to achieve this.

"I want to become a graphic designer who can share the sense of wonder I felt from CG with others."
When I first experienced VR in high school, I was struck by how new and immersive it felt. That moment made me want to create and share similarly awe-inspiring experiences with others. Among many academies, I wanted to learn from a place that produces the highest level of work. After attending a consultation, I felt a strong sense of trust—the curriculum and even the learning environment were structured in a very organized and professional way. I also appreciated that there was no pressure to enroll, and that they considered my situation and suggested alternative options, which further strengthened my trust.
I value attention to detail and have a mindset of turning weaknesses into strengths. I want to become a graphic designer who can deliver the same sense of awe and impact that I once experienced through CG. I was deeply impressed by the high-quality portfolios produced by students here, which motivated me to apply. Now that I have been accepted, I feel a strong commitment to create work at that same high level, and that determination has become one of my core goals.

"I will work hard to build a strong portfolio."
My interest in graphics began with 2D animation. Later, after experiencing console games, I became interested in 3D graphics, which led me to take courses in 3D modeling and game production at university. Among what I learned, I found the game field the most engaging, which is why I decided to pursue this path.
I started looking for an academy to create a portfolio for both my graduation project and future employment. I chose SF Film School because the quality of its portfolios is high and the curriculum appears to be well-structured. Overall, the facilities seem well-equipped, and I appreciated the quiet and focused learning environment.
Since I feel I didn’t fully learn these skills at school, I’m glad to have the opportunity to study them again properly. I will dedicate myself to building a strong portfolio.

Jung Ji In
"I will work hard, as this is something I chose to pursue."
I have been interested in films throughout my school years, and currently I mainly watch fantasy and animation. Watching works like Avatar, Fast & Furious, and The Chronicles of Narnia left a strong impression on me, and made me dream of becoming part of creating such projects. That is what led me to pursue CG.
I came across SF Film School while searching online, and I appreciated how they showed genuine interest in students and took the time to understand them. The students’ portfolios also appeared very solid. I was slightly worried that the acceptance criteria might be high, so seeing the word “accepted” was a great relief.
Since this is something I truly want to do, I am determined to give it my all. My goal is to build a portfolio strong enough to pursue opportunities overseas. I would greatly appreciate your guidance along the way.

Cho Keun Hee
"I want to make the most of this opportunity to learn and do my best to truly develop my skills."
I have always enjoyed movies and animation, and I’ve been exposed to a wide range of visual content. My previous studies were in acting and film, so I have some basic understanding of the surface aspects of production. As I began considering a different career path, I explored the CG field and came across SF Film School. While watching the videos on their website, I had a realization—I didn’t necessarily want to be the one in front of the camera, but I found the process of building and creating worlds incredibly interesting. I began to think that creating through graphics could also be a way of contributing to the films and games I love, by bringing new characters and environments to life.
As I continued researching out of curiosity, I felt that this field aligns well with my aptitude and is something I could genuinely enjoy and dedicate myself to. Since I was starting with very little knowledge, I looked for a place that felt highly professional, and compared to other academies, SF Film School stood out as structured and specialized.
When I visited for a consultation, I felt confident that I could receive a truly systematic and professional education here. Most importantly, the conversation helped resolve many of the questions and uncertainties I had. After the consultation, I was shown around the facilities, and everything—from the environment to the explanations—reinforced the impression of a highly professional institution.
I still feel that my knowledge is limited, both when I first applied and even now. However, through the consultation, I’ve gained more clarity, and if anything, my passion has only grown stronger. Now that I’ve been given this opportunity to learn, I am determined to do my best and truly build my skills.

Choi Ji Eun
"I believe my experience at SF Film School will serve as an important bridge toward the global stage."
My interest in films and animation naturally led me to become interested in visual graphics as well. Since I was young, I often thought, “I want to create worlds like that too,” though I didn’t know where or how to begin, so it remained just a dream. However, when I first encountered a 3D modeling tool at school—even though I only created a simple product—I realized that if I studied this field professionally, I could bring to life the complex worlds I had always imagined in films.
After discovering SF Film School, I explored its website and was impressed by the outstanding quality of the students’ work, which became a major reason for my decision. I was also drawn to the small, selective class system, which allows for personalized feedback as well as opportunities to share ideas and collaborate with peers.
During the consultation, I felt that this was a place where I could turn my dreams into something concrete and achievable. After learning more about the system, that belief became even stronger. As someone who is passionate about films and 3D animation, I applied because I want to deeply understand and explore the full potential of this field.
I enjoy learning new things and am not afraid of challenges. Here, I want to exchange ideas, build my skills, and grow into a creator who can craft meaningful stories and move people. I am confident that I will work harder than anyone else, as I believe this experience will become a crucial stepping stone toward reaching the global stage.

Kim Min Kyoung
"I applied because I have confidence in my dream."
I was amazed by how Dune used LED screens to create more natural visuals, and Avatar deeply impressed me with how it brought a fantastical world to life in such a realistic way. Growing up watching Marvel and Disney, I developed a sense of imagination and inspiration. Recently, learning that many Korean artists contributed to films like Elemental and Inside Out 2 made me even more interested, and I began to wonder, “Maybe I can do this too.”
However, my current major does not cover these areas in depth, making it difficult to study them seriously. That is why I decided to apply to an academy. Compared to my expectations, the system here felt much more solid and well-structured, which gave me confidence. With a clear decision to pursue VFX as my career path, I applied to SF Film School to properly learn and develop my skills.
I tend to be adaptable to others. While I can express my own opinions, I am also open to accepting others’ ideas if they are better, which I see as both a strength and a weakness. Once I decide to do something, I follow through to the end, though I can be spontaneous and sometimes impulsive. I am highly motivated when it comes to things I enjoy, but I recognize that I may lack interest in areas that do not engage me.
That said, I communicate well with others and maintain positive relationships. Most importantly, I have strong confidence in my dream, which led me to apply here. I am determined to work harder than anyone else and do my best.

Kim Soon Ji
"I want to treat this as my last chance—so even if I feel afraid, exhausted, or slow at times, I will not give up and will see it through to the end."
I discovered the field of visual graphics through works shared on platforms like YouTube, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and ArtStation. I have always enjoyed creating things, but after seeing those works, I wanted to improve my skills and create at a higher level myself, which led me to choose this field.
While attending school, I felt the need to further develop the areas where I was lacking and reach a level where I could apply to the companies I aspire to join. I chose SF Film School because it was relatively close to home and was recommended by a classmate. When I visited in person, my first impression was that it felt like a workspace truly suited for focused creation.
When applying, I was nervous, wondering whether I would be able to keep up and produce strong work. Hearing that I was accepted felt unfamiliar, as it had been a long time since I last heard those words. It also made me realize that I want to become someone who is accepted even in the places I truly aspire to challenge.
Now that I have the opportunity after graduation to fully focus on what I want to do, I want to push myself to see how far I can go—what kind of portfolio I can create and how I can present my work. Even if I feel afraid, tired, or slow along the way, I will not give up. I want to see my limits for myself and follow this path to the end.

Oh Ryun Gu
"I will study hard so that this period can be remembered as a time when I truly gave my best."
I naturally became aware of the field of Visual Graphics through watching Marvel films and other content that heavily uses visual effects. What I find most compelling about this field is that it allows me not only to imagine worlds, but to actually bring them to life through technical skills.
I have a strong desire to tell engaging stories and deliver them to people in a memorable way. In particular, I want to create those worlds myself based on my own imagination. While it’s possible to pursue directing and rely on VFX artists, I believe that those who have hands-on experience and a deep understanding of the field can express ideas with greater detail and a broader range.
After watching SF Film School’s work on YouTube, I was impressed by the high level of quality. I also noticed that both award-winning projects and beginner-level works were shared, which gave me the impression that education for all levels is actively supported. Seeing interviews with artists from well-known global companies further reinforced my belief that the school is recognized internationally and offers opportunities not only for domestic employment but also for global careers.
If given the chance, I wanted to use this experience to overcome my unfamiliarity with 3D tools and improve my skills, while also expanding my career opportunities. I wasn’t fully confident about being accepted, as I wasn’t sure if my current level aligned with the school, but I’m very glad to have received a positive result.
As an accepted student, I’m grateful for the opportunity to strengthen the areas where I’ve been lacking over the next six months. When I look back on my time at SF Film School in the future, I want it to be remembered as a period where I gave my absolute best without regrets.

Lee Seul Gi
"I believe this will become a foundation that allows me to grow in a variety of situations."
The reason I was drawn to the 3D field is that it enables the creation of immersive and expressive visuals that are difficult to achieve in 2D, by combining creativity with advanced technical skills. As I studied 3D myself, I realized how stimulating this field is. While all fields evolve over time, 3D, in particular, delivers a strong sense of achievement and immediate visual feedback through its results.
Seeing my effort and passion take shape so directly was incredibly appealing, and it motivated me to pursue this field with even greater dedication. I see 3D as more than just a technical skill—it is a challenging field that offers both creative fulfillment and a strong sense of accomplishment.
I chose SF Film School because I believed it offers a curriculum that helps students quickly adapt to real-world production, along with an environment that supports focused learning. Compared to other institutions, SF Film School stood out for its deep-rooted passion and tradition in the 3D field. I believe these strengths go beyond simply preparing for employment, and will instead serve as a solid foundation for growth in various situations.
I look forward to growing through a program that aligns well with me at SF Film School.

Jung In Sun
"I will develop my skills to the level where I can independently and efficiently complete CG work.
I was drawn to CG technology because it allows me to bring imagined elements—such as vast space environments and extraterrestrial life—into existence within a virtual world. Watching film production processes also inspired me to want to participate in filmmaking myself. I realized that I am well-suited to this field, as I can focus for long periods while working at a computer, and I appreciate the flexibility to easily revise and refine my work throughout the process.
Additionally, through a conversation with a senior who is employed at an international company, I gained insight into the industry’s standards and direction, which further solidified my determination to become a professional in this field. After taking a leave of absence to prepare for my career, I began searching for academies and was drawn to SF Film School, particularly because of its strong recognition in the CG and VFX categories at the Rookie Awards.
When I visited for a consultation, I was impressed that the entire building was dedicated to the academy, which reflected the large number of students who choose to study there. During the consultation, I received detailed answers to my questions, and I especially appreciated that class sizes are limited and consistent, allowing beginners to better adapt and improve their skills in a stable learning environment.
At SF Film School, I plan to fully commit to the Maya and ZBrush curriculum with passion and consistency. I will manage my condition to stay focused without burning out, and steadily build my skills step by step until I can confidently and efficiently handle CG work on my own. I also look forward to learning from instructors, peers, and mentors, gaining a deeper understanding of the field, and ultimately creating a strong portfolio that will help me secure a position as a 3D modeler at a reputable film production company.

Kim Ga Eun
"I want to become a 3D artist who can contribute to the game and film industries."
I took a basic course in Unreal Engine 5, and unlike 2D graphic design, I was fascinated by how I could create environments and models in 3D and see them rendered in real time with a cinematic quality. This experience made me want to build a stronger foundation while learning more advanced tools. As I researched the field, I discovered that areas like VFX and CG commonly use programs such as Maya, 3ds Max, Unreal Engine, and Houdini. I was drawn to the idea of using these tools to create realistic visuals that go beyond what can be expressed in 2D, which led me to choose the Visual Graphics field.
While searching for academies, I came across several student portfolios from SF Film School through YouTube recommendations. Compared to others, the quality stood out clearly, and the reviews were also positive. I had consultations at other academies as well, but they often felt sales-driven. In contrast, at SF Film School, I felt genuine interest in my background and goals, which built a strong sense of trust. Touring the facilities also left a good impression, as the entire building seemed designed to support students in a comfortable and focused learning environment.
With a strong interest in 3D design, I want to learn and grow through hands-on experience and participate in various projects. Ultimately, my goal is to become a 3D artist who can make meaningful contributions to both the game and film industries.

"I believe this is an opportunity to further develop myself."
While working as a web designer, I began to feel that the industry was rapidly changing with the rise of AI. As the company faced difficulties, web designers were among the first to be let go, and I also sensed that the role was often seen as easily replaceable. This led me to think more seriously about continuing my design studies. Since I had a strong interest in 3D visuals, I decided that I wanted to learn motion as well.
Recently, after watching 3D content in films and on YouTube, I found myself thinking, “I want to create something like that too.” That’s when I discovered motion graphics. When I applied to the academy, I felt both excitement and nervousness. I was highly interested in 3D graphics and had a strong desire to learn professionally, so I believed this would be an important first step toward my future. At the same time, I also worried about whether I would be able to keep up with the program or if my skills might fall short compared to others.
However, this process made me reflect on my goals and passion once again, and my excitement for taking on a new challenge continued to grow. Thinking about the skills I will gain and the potential for growth ahead fills me with anticipation.
When I received the acceptance, I felt both relief and happiness. It gave me confidence that the training here will support my growth as a 3D artist, and I became even more excited for what lies ahead. At the same time, I also felt a strong sense of responsibility. Being accepted is not the end goal—it’s more important to truly learn and grow through this opportunity.
Although I feel some nervousness about learning in a new environment with others, I believe this is a valuable chance to push myself further. Now, I clearly realize that this is not just an interest anymore, but the beginning of a journey to acquire practical skills and build a strong portfolio.

"I will work hard to make this a meaningful year."
I hadn’t given much thought to my career until I had to choose a path before graduating high school. As I started thinking about what I truly enjoy, I realized how much I had always loved watching movies with my family and friends. I especially remembered rewatching Marvel films multiple times, which led me to search for careers related to film. That’s when I discovered the field of VFX and decided to pursue it.
Around the same time, I had the opportunity to learn more about this field through a VFX designer working at my father’s company. Hearing about their work and career path made a strong impression on me and reinforced my decision.
After deciding to study at an academy, I explored several options and ultimately chose SF Film School because it seemed the most specialized and aligned with the film industry I want to enter. My first impression was that it felt like a real film studio, and during the consultation, I even felt a bit overwhelmed by the environment.
Since I am taking a leave of absence from school to focus on my studies this year, I applied with a strong determination to fully commit. I will work hard to clearly shape my career path and move forward with purpose, making this a meaningful and productive year.

“Even if the learning process is challenging, I stay persistent, driven by the deep desire I felt when I first dreamed of entering the CG field.”
I originally wasn’t very interested in Marvel movies, but after hearing so many recommendations from people around me, I ended up watching Avengers: Endgame. The impact it had on me was so overwhelming that the vague idea of pursuing something in video production became a clear dream: I wanted to work in the CG field—specifically, overseas.
Driven by that strong desire, I started searching for information and soon realized just how many different areas of CG there are. Even though there wasn’t much information available online, I spent countless hours thinking about how I could eventually work abroad doing the kind of work I truly wanted. I had always been interested in video and enjoyed working on computers from a young age, so choosing CG felt less like coincidence and more like certainty. Even while studying for the college entrance exam, that same determination kept me from doubting my decision.
Once I set my sights on CG, I realized I had no idea how to achieve this dream, so I simply began searching the internet. That’s when I happened to discover SF Film School. After watching several videos and reading reviews on the website, I felt that studying there would genuinely help me grow. In particular, I liked that the school doesn’t accept students recklessly, but instead teaches in small, selective cohorts—an environment where I felt I could learn more carefully and in depth.
Although I had researched various things on my own, I didn’t know anyone working in the industry, so the information I had was shallow and uncertain. But through the consultation, all my questions were answered clearly, and I gained confidence about how to plan my path moving forward. I was also grateful that the guidance was based on real experience, which helped me understand what kind of mindset I should have while studying in this field.
Before the consultation, studying at SF Film School still felt distant and unreal—I had spent months simply imagining what it might be like. But now, as someone who has been accepted, I’m truly thankful to be taking my first real step toward my dream.
As I continue forward, I will stay persistent through the challenges of learning, fueled by the same determination I felt when I first dreamed of working in CG and when I watched the ending credits of my favorite films. I will do my best to keep learning with patience and dedication.

“There will inevitably be difficult moments, but I will never give up. I’ll keep giving my best and stay passionate until the very end.”
Watching Disney movies has always given me a feeling of indescribable emotion, and the moment I truly decided I wanted to create films myself was during the winter of my third year in middle school, when I watched Coco. However, although I dreamed of joining Disney and making movies, I didn’t know what specific field I wanted to pursue or what I needed to study.
So I began searching mainly on YouTube to learn how films are made and what kinds of jobs are involved in the filmmaking process. Through this exploration, I discovered that CG—where I could bring my imagination to life and create things that cannot exist in reality—was the area I wanted to pursue most.
I also knew that many CG academies focus mainly on profit, so it was important for me to carefully examine their portfolios. When I looked through the SF Film School website, the portfolio quality felt almost cinematic. I was impressed by how many graduates had actually gone on to work overseas, making my own dream of working at Disney feel more attainable. I also liked that the school seemed to have strong international connections.
Since I had never studied CG before, I needed a curriculum that teaches everything from the basics. SF Film School offered exactly the structured, foundational education I was looking for, which is why I chose this academy. When I first visited the website, my immediate thought was, “I finally found the school that fits my needs—and even exceeds them.” I felt that this was the place I needed in order to follow my plan toward my ultimate goal: joining Disney.
After visiting the school in person for a consultation, my first impression was that I was truly glad I came. It felt like taking the very first step toward my dream. The detailed explanations about animation and CG, the chance to tour the filming studio, and seeing the motion-capture equipment and technologies—all of this, along with watching the works created at SF Film School, made my desire to study CG even stronger.
When I applied, I felt both excitement and fear that I might not be accepted. But after being accepted, I felt relieved, excited to begin, and determined to give my best from now on.
Looking ahead, I know difficult and challenging moments will surely come, but I will not give up. I will do my very best and pour my passion into this path until the end. I’m ready to devote the rest of my teenage years to this dream.

“Seeing this as my last chance at an age that’s neither too young nor too old, I’m determined to give it my all from the very beginning.”
I originally became interested in producing 3D animation for children’s films and began researching that area. During this process, I learned that many well-known directors and producers do not limit themselves to children’s animation but are active across various visual-graphics fields, including feature films and commercials. Although my ultimate goal is to create children’s animated films, this consultation helped me realize that 3D animation offers a relatively flexible career path. This made me even more interested in the field.
After deciding on 3D animation as my career path, I started searching for academies and eventually found graduates’ portfolios from SF Film School on YouTube. Unlike other academies, the portfolio quality stood out, which led me to visit the website. There, I learned about the cohort-based program, numerous external activities, and the instructors’ strong professional backgrounds.
Before that, I first visited a large general academy because I hoped to receive government-funded support. However, the consultation mainly focused on selling package programs and fitting me into their fixed timetable, which made me feel it wasn’t the right place for me. After leaving, I remembered SF Film School, which I had already looked into, and decided to visit. I appreciated that they listened to my story and tried to help me find the animation direction that suited me personally.
My first impression of SF Film School was that it wasn’t just an academy that teaches technical skills, but a place that helps students discover their strengths within the broad field of 3D animation, guiding them so they can establish themselves firmly in a path that fits them.
When I applied, I kept wondering whether someone like me, who knew so little, would be the kind of student they wanted. Still, hearing that I had been accepted made me genuinely happy. I see this as my last chance at an age that’s neither too young nor too old, and I’m determined to work hard from the very beginning.

“I want to work hard, learn as much as I can, and achieve the dream I’ve been striving for.”
My major in school was Film and Video, so I learned about the visual graphics field during my classes. I felt that I lacked too much to pursue VFX, and editing classes didn’t interest me. The only class I genuinely enjoyed and felt drawn to was modeling. As I continued studying it out of curiosity, I found myself increasingly attracted to the profession of a modeler. What began as a desire to become good at modeling gradually grew into a real ambition to become a professional modeler.
Many computer academies focus on teaching a single program, but SF Film School seemed to teach how to use those programs to actually create作品. It also felt specialized in CG-specific training. Furthermore, the graduates’ portfolios were noticeably different in quality, which made me choose this school.

“I felt a mix of excitement and nervousness at the thought of learning something new. I hope to work diligently and one day join a studio in Vancouver…”
I realized that it’s difficult to find any film or animation I enjoy that doesn’t involve computer graphics, and that sparked my interest. I began researching the industry on my own through YouTube. I tend to make decisions slowly because I like to take my time, research carefully, and only commit when I’m fully convinced. But watching other artists refine every detail and solve problems one by one made me want to experience that same sense of accomplishment someday. That’s when I decided to pursue this path.
Considering the industry’s promising future, my own strengths, and the practical factors involved, I began searching for an academy that I could afford. That’s how I found SF Film School. In my case, I’ve always aimed for an overseas career—especially in Vancouver or Montreal—so choosing SF Film School, which even has an office in Vancouver and offers employment support, felt like the obvious decision.
I could clearly see the difference in quality when watching the reels on YouTube compared to other academies, and when I visited for a consultation, I felt reassured by the environment that seemed ideal for studying.
The thought of learning something completely new made me both excited and nervous. I want to work hard and eventually get a job at a studio in Vancouver.

“My goals aren’t fully defined yet, but I want to prepare myself so I’m not lacking in any technical aspects.”
When I was young, I watched the Iron Man series and became fascinated by how cool it was. That vague interest naturally led me to seek out only fantasy and sci-fi films, and at some point, I began wondering how those scenes were created and felt a strong desire to try it myself. I’ve always had an overactive imagination and often dream about things that make no sense in reality, so seeing those ideas come to life on screen felt incredibly satisfying. The idea of creating worlds that don’t exist and turning them into a single piece of moving imagery felt especially appealing to me.
Instead of learning lightly at a typical computer academy, I wanted a long-term, structured, and in-depth education, which is why I chose SF Film School. The atmosphere of the academy was exactly what I had hoped for, and seeing the displayed works made me genuinely excited.
During my leave from university, I plan to focus intensely on both the academy and my English studies so that they will help me later in both academics and employment. Although I don’t have a clear plan for after graduation yet, my goal is to prepare myself thoroughly so that I am not lacking in any technical skills.

“I feel both excited and nervous, but I’m determined to push forward and work hard toward my goal.”
I once came across a video on YouTube and learned that it was 3D animation, which sparked my interest. However, a teacher once told me that to do 3D animation, I needed to specialize in 2D drawing first. Since I wasn’t confident in my drawing skills and had always enjoyed games, I shifted my focus toward game graphics and CG instead.
While I was still debating which course to apply for at this academy, I recently watched Frozen 2 and became completely captivated by it, which led me to choose the 3D animation field after all. I was introduced to SF Film School through a teacher, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much more structured and systematic the program was than I expected.
My goal is to learn as much as I can, create an impressive portfolio, and ultimately join Disney Animation Studios—no matter which path I take to get there. Although I feel both excitement and worry, I’m determined to keep pushing forward toward my goal.

“It may sound a bit grand, but I hope to become an artist who leads the way in this era of convergence and integration.”
I had the opportunity to visit Erik Johansson’s photo exhibition, and seeing how he combines photography with 3D programs to create his work sparked my interest in this field. I felt that this was an area I needed to learn in order to take a step forward in both my personal artistic practice and commercial work.
After searching various places online, I concluded that SF Film School offered the most professional and specialized curriculum, which is why I chose it. Visiting the school, talking with the instructor, and seeing the environment firsthand made me even more confident in my decision.
Although my background is in photography, I don’t want to be confined to that framework. I want to expand into various areas such as installation art, video, and 3D. For that reason, in my most recent group exhibition, I presented not only photographic works but also installation and projection pieces.
It may sound a bit ambitious, but I hope to become an artist who leads the way in this era of interdisciplinary and convergent art.
Kim Chae-hyang
“For the next year, I plan to focus entirely on learning, and afterward, I hope to find the part of the field that suits me best…”
I’ve always found behind-the-scenes videos of films and movie CG incredibly fascinating, and they sparked my interest in the field. It felt difficult and overwhelming at first, so I only thought about it vaguely. But once I discovered that there were academies where I could actually learn this, I decided to pursue it. I felt confident that I could handle computer programs well and believed this field suited me.
While searching for VFX academies, I found that SF Film School had the most information and作品 on its website, and I liked its curriculum the best. The consultation was also very kind and detailed, which left a great first impression.
When I applied, I was nervous and anxious, but I felt relieved when I was accepted. For the next year or so, I plan to focus entirely on learning, and afterward, I hope to find the part of the field that suits me and begin preparing for employment. Since I was accepted through careful consideration, I’m determined to study diligently and make the most of this opportunity.

“I want to work hard and create truly amazing works with my own skills.”
I first became interested in video production when I joined the broadcasting club in high school, and while choosing my major in college, I wanted to learn more about 3D. That curiosity led me to choose this field. Through my research, SF Film School appeared to be the most professional, and the consultation made me trust the academy even more.
While studying here, I hope to learn everything from the fundamentals to the advanced stages. Even though this interest came to me a little later, I want to work hard and develop my own skills so I can feel proud of the results. I also felt that I hadn’t devoted myself passionately to one thing for quite some time, so I wanted this opportunity to become a turning point for me. This time, I’m determined to give it my all.
As I mentioned earlier, even if my interest began a bit late, I want to work hard and create truly impressive作品 through my own abilities.
Lee Young-min
“By the time I finish the program, if I’m able to animate as well, I’d like to learn additional software…”
While studying my major, the first modeling program I learned was Cinema 4D, and I enjoyed both the modeling and rigging aspects. That led me to look for programs focused on modeling, and I realized that completing a single 3D project requires learning many different tools.
When I visited SF Film School for a consultation, I felt confident that I could first learn the essential courses and later continue with any additional classes I needed without worry. Now that I’ve been accepted, my goal is to first build my skills to a level where I can comfortably handle modeling on my own.
By the time I finish the program, if I’m able to animate as well, I plan to learn additional software to further expand my abilities.

“I want to create a portfolio that expresses who I am through videos that visualize my imagination.”
I’ve always been interested in video production, and although I watched many films with CG, it was The Avengers that made me truly want to learn it. That led me to choose a film-related major in school, but I soon felt that what I learned there wasn’t enough. So I began looking for academies and eventually discovered SF Film School.
After watching the graphic works created by SF Film School, I felt genuinely inspired — this is so cool, I really want to learn this technology. That impression made a strong impact on me.
I’m an outgoing person, and although my concentration can drop at times, I want to create a portfolio that expresses who I am through videos that visualize my imagination.
