“I Am Extremely Excited Because I Will Finally Be Learning What I Truly Wanted to Do.”

Ever since middle school, whenever I watched movies filled with spectacular and visually impressive VFX, I always imagined myself participating in the creation of those films someday. At first, I was especially interested in superhero movies such as those from the Marvel Studios universe. However, after taking university classes related to film and graphics, I came to realize that VFX is not limited to flashy, eye-catching scenes. Many effects that audiences believe are completely real are actually carefully created with CG to make films feel more natural, immersive, and visually rich. Discovering this made me want to pursue this profession even more seriously.

When I first began searching for VFX academies, I watched many promotional videos and student portfolios from different institutions. Among them, I felt that the portfolio quality of students who graduated from SF Film School was by far the most impressive and professional.

As my interest grew, I researched the academy in greater detail and discovered through the SF Film School website that students could experience not only VFX production itself, but also filming processes using equipment such as green screens, motion capture systems, and professional filming setups. This aspect was extremely appealing to me because it offered opportunities to understand the entire production pipeline more deeply.

Since my long-term goal is to work overseas, I was also highly interested in the fact that students could receive feedback and confirmation from Hollywood industry professionals. That opportunity made the school stand out even more to me.

In the future, I hope to work overseas as part of a team specializing in modeling and VFX production. Although my plans are still somewhat broad at the moment, I believe it would be beneficial to experience various types of work at the academy, discover which 분야 suits me best, and then pursue employment in that direction.

I want to complete this program responsibly together with my cohort, and I am genuinely excited because I will finally be studying the field I have truly wanted to pursue for such a long time.
