Meet Our Accepted Students

"I will build a strong foundation at SF Film School."

"I will build a strong foundation at SF Film School."
Park Ji Min

During my undergraduate years, I remember being amazed to learn that, in many live-action films, almost everything on screen except the actors was created using 3D graphics. In the digital era, filmmaking has essentially become a form of graphic work, and I came to feel that studying graphics is no longer optional, but essential.

I am currently working at a content production studio, creating webtoons. As webtoons are based on a scrolling interface, they tend to share similarities with cinematic language more than traditional printed comics. Recently, there has been a growing demand for 3D graphics in webtoon production. While working on long-term projects, I also came to realize how essential visual storytelling and adaptation into video formats have become in content creation.

Through the need for 3D assets in my work, I began to think about expanding both my career and the potential of my content—from still-image-based webtoons into video. While searching online for a place to learn Maya, I discovered SF Film School. From its name and website, I felt that it offers not only technical training, but also a deeper understanding of the overall filmmaking process.

Being in an environment where I can fully dedicate myself to studying visual production is something I truly look forward to. I am grateful for the opportunity, and I will do my best to build a solid foundation at SF Film School.
