Hello, my name is Donggeum Kim from Class 428, currently residing in Vancouver, Canada.
While working in programming, I became increasingly interested in the field of graphics through frequent exposure. A friend who works as a video editor at a broadcasting station recommended the SF Film School, which led me to apply.

Although there are many CG and VFX courses available in Vancouver, the primary reason I chose SFFS is the exceptionally high-quality student portfolios — many of which seem beyond the student level — and its consistent top rankings in international competitions.
Another factor was cost efficiency. Most local programs in Vancouver are heavily team project-based and are at least three times more expensive.

My goal is to complete the VFX course at SFFS and finish a strong, well-crafted portfolio. I look forward to the journey ahead.
