You will smoothly improve both your artistic and technical skills by being guided and taught from our well-experienced instructors. An individually assigned instructor will answer your questions at anytime to make sure your educational journey with us. We deeply care our students. Our staff advise our students on their project until they get a job position. Because of this continuous support system, our students have a high employment rate after graduation.

백지연 학생의 'The Flying Mouse'는 토르벤 쿨만의 그림책 『린드버그 : 날아가는 쥐 이야기』를 원작으로 하여,
그림책 속 따뜻한 감성과 이야기를
2D 일러스트의 감성을 그대로 살려 3D로 구현해 낸 창의적인 작업입니다.
특히 3D임에도 불구하고 마치 그림책 한 장면을 넘겨보는 듯한
섬세한 색감, 구도, 연출력이 돋보였으며,
이런한 점들이 VFX 업계 관계자들에게도 강한 인상과 영감을 주었다고 합니다.
그 결과 Rookie Awards 측에서 직접 연락을 주어
백지연 학생의 작품을 기사로 소개하고 싶다는 요청이 있었고,
이렇게 공식 기사로 전 세계에 소개되는 쾌거를 이루게 되었습니다!

This seminar was truly meaningful and rewarding, filled with practical advice for portfolio preparation as well as real insights from the industry.
We were able to go beyond theory and gain a sense of the actual workflow — from understanding how collaboration happens on real projects to learning how a matchmove artist should approach and analyze each shot.
The session clearly explained where matchmove fits in the pipeline and what role it plays. Drawing from extensive project experience, the speaker shared not only technical knowledge but also stories about how to communicate effectively with other artists and work efficiently in the field. With his strong background in compositing as well, he provided a wealth of insights from that area too.
He also gave valuable, realistic advice on how students should approach portfolio preparation, manage their time, and raise the quality of their work.
We are deeply grateful to alumnus Mr. Taeheon Kim for generously sharing his knowledge and experiences and for preparing this session with such sincerity.

오늘 SF 필름스쿨에서는 뛰어난 포트폴리오를 완성한 두 명의 졸업생이 후배들에게 작업 과정과 노하우를 공유하는 졸업 작품 발표가 진행됐습니다. 주인공은 박유림 졸업생과 이한비 졸업생입니다.
박유림 졸업생은 더듬이에 맺힌 물방울로 영양분을 나눠주는 숲속 요정 '초롱이'와 그 영양분을 먹고 꽃을 피워내는 식물괴물 '초식이'를 주인공으로 하고 있는 작품을 제작하였습니다.
이한비 졸업생은 시간이 멈춘 듯한 바의 내부, 인간의 흔적이 느껴지지 않는 건조한 강가 주변, 그리고 낡은 기계와 우주선 부품들로 이뤄진 배경을 통해 문명이 남긴 잔재를 '우주비행사의 시선'으로 바라보는 구주로 이야기를 풀어낸 작품을 제작하였습니다.
두 졸업생은 SF 필름스쿨 재학생들에게 유익한 팁과 조언을 전하는 시간을 가졌습니다.

윤호연 졸업생은 1990년대 캠핑장을 배경으로, 미국과 캐나다의 전설 속 악마 '웬디고'가 드라마 브레이킹 배드의 주인공 '하이젠버그'를 잡아먹는 작품을 제작하였습니다.
최지현 졸업생은 한적한 시골을 배경으로 무당벌레를 관찰하는 귀여운 고양이의 일상을 그린 포트폴리오를 제작하였습니다.
두 졸업생은 SF 필름스쿨 재학생들에게 유익한 팁과 조언을 전하는 시간을 가졌습니다.

Dexter Studios의 파이프라인과 어셋 팀에서 이루어지는 작업공정을 설명해주셨고, 그에 맞는 사용 프로그램들도 알려주셨습니다. 특히 디지털 캐릭터를 만드는 공정과 하드 서페이스 어셋에 대해 잘 알려주셨고, 중요하게 봐야할 부분과 레퍼런스들을 꼭 잘 분석하면서 작업해야한다고 해주셨습니다. 모두가 궁금해할만한 Dexter Studios의 복지와 덱스터가 추구하는 인재상과 작업 스타일, 현재 시장 방향에 대한 실무자의 생각 등, 세미나에 참석하지 않고서는 알 수 없는 부분들을 너무 잘 설명해주셨습니다. 김동하 선배님께 감사드리며 곧 실무에서 뵙길 바라겠습니다 :)

오늘 기술 세미나는 헐리우드 스튜디오인 'ILM'에 재직중인 실무자 Dennis Muller께서 진행해주셨습니다.
포폴 반 학생들 컨펌부터 라이팅과 컬러에 대한 이론들에 대한 강의를 해주셨습니다. 학생분들의 컨펌이 끝나고 라이팅에 관련한 중요한 사항에 대해 말씀해주셨습니다. 많은 영화들에서의 씬의 느낌에 딱 맞는 라이팅이 있으면 기억해두고 본인 포폴에 적용할 수 있게 해주어야 한다고 하셨습니다. 그리고 중심이 되는 오브젝트에 실루엣이 잘 드러나는 라이팅이 좋은 라이팅이라고 말씀해주셨습니다. 유익한 세미나를 준비해주신 Dennis Muller 께 감사드립니다.

정지현 졸업생은 맨드레이크 레포트라는 맨드레이크를 연구하는 윤여정 선생님이 돋보이는 제너럴 포트폴리오를 제작하셨습니다.
조주현 졸업생은 금지된 무덤이라는 역병의사와 무시무시한 크리처가 등장하는 포트폴리오를 제작하셨습니다.
송다현 졸업생은 어쌔신 크리드를 주제로 멋진 포트폴리오를 제작하셨습니다. 게임 트레일러에 나오는 장면을 그대로 CG로 재현했는데요. 꼭 하고 싶은 것을 해야 작업을 잘 할 수있다고 하셨습니다.

하성일 졸업생은 유성이 떨어져서 지구를 탈출해 거대한 우주선을 만나고 새로운 행성을 찾아가는 컨셉으로 포트폴리오를 제작하셨다고 합니다.
김가영 졸업생은 그리스신화의 미노타우루스 미궁의 테세우스라는 전사가 미노타우루스를 없애는 과정의 포폴 컨셉으로 만드셨다고 합니다.
신한나 졸업생은 근대와 미래가 공존하는 디젤 펑크와 스팀 펑크를 바탕으로 하고 있습니다. 스팀펑크하면 보통은 자욱한 안개와 어둑한 분위기를 떠올리지만, 색다른 모습을 보여주고 싶었기에 식물이 공존하는 밝은 분위기의 도시를 컨셉으로 포트폴리오를 제작하셨습니다.

In November 2022, the monthly best was selected as the 409th Bae Minji student. In the work Minji Bae is working on, a robot living a repetitive life in a factory breaks the loop that is repeated by a butterfly that flows into it. It is a work that contains the content to go out to the free world. Bae Min-ji says he wants to tell you to commit and see for your portfolio. Of course, in the process of doing so, it is said that you need to consistently raise confirmations and actively accept feedback from people around you. Until completion, our sf film school will be with you. Fighting!

Today, there was a graduation work presentation where two graduates who completed a great portfolio at SF Film School conveyed the production process and know-how to their juniors. Haesol Kim and Eunbin Lee are the main characters. Haesol Kim, a graduate, created a portfolio with a laboratory concept to discover new creatures that have never been seen before. With the theme of the movie 'JOKER', Eunbin Lee, a graduate, created a portfolio containing the toilet and the character of the Joker, where the Joker's change of heart occurs. Both students had time to deliver useful tips to SF Film School students. We sincerely congratulate graduates Kim Hae-sol and Lee Eun-bin on the completion of their work, and SF Film School will continue to support them as they grow into world-class artists.

Today, a Hollywood practitioner's VFX Workflow and Composite seminar was held. Peter Choi is working at ILM in Canada and is delivering useful information about VFX Workflow and Composite through seminars for SF Film School students. Yeji Jeong and Eunjin Jang participated in the portfolio feedback session of FFS LAB students. The teacher explained one by one what was lacking in the work or where the quality was to be improved, and generously gave useful advice and encouragement to the work. It was a useful time to get a lot of information, from honey tips on overseas employment that many students are curious about, to corporate trends in Hollywood and tips on resumes. I would like to thank Professor Peter Choi for preparing a seminar full of sincerity.

The special lecture was prepared with a focus on simple understanding of the principles and easy utilization by practicing various examples using VrayBlendMTL. The theme of the special lecture was "Simple environment production using UNREAL ENGINE 5 and LIVE LINK", and the lecture was given by teacher Seonwoo Kim.
