Tibetan Girl

I created a video journal of what I’ve felt while I was travelling in Tibet.
The first scene I created is ‘Locked door’. I wanted to show my sharp observation by making detailed texturing and modelling on close up shot. But after I created a scene, I thought it has less impact, so I added another scene. My second scene is called ‘Tibetan girl’. Unlike most of other portfolios put Western adult model as the modelling, I created mine based on an Asian child. I thought putting this as the second scene would give a bigger impact on my artwork and it would highlight my texturing skills by accessories and clothes.
However, after I finished my second scene, I wondered if my texturing were skewed to smooth surfaces. I thought of making textures of rough irregular unrepeated surface, so I created my third scene, “Leather boots”, to show that I can create such texture as well. Because I focused on what skills, modelling, and texturing that I want to show in my artwork, I didn’t have a specific storyline. However, I added them while I was producing all three scenes as a whole.
