At first, I was thinking about what kind of popul should I make, but I ended up making a portfolio with the theme of Dark Souls 3, a game I liked and worked very hard on.
At first, I really liked Dark Soul's unique darkness and gothic architecture, so I started modeling as an environmental modeler.
Of course, there are differences for each part, but I think it would be better to grab it at the beginning of the pre-visual work.
Depending on the camera you want to produce or what you want to show, you can reduce unnecessary modeling or texturing, and on the contrary, you can draw a bigger picture of what you need to pay more attention to, so I think the previs work is very important.
