Our staff advise our students on their project until they get a job position.

Because of this continuous support system, our students have a high employment rate after graduation.

Hello!

SF Film School is a professional private VFX education institute founded in 2001.
It was the first VFX education school in Korea, and  now it is a globally recognized institute
with the best CG&VFX education curriculum.

Many of our alumni are working not just in the Korean VFX industry, but working all sides of the globe, including Hollywood.
Because we were doing our best to improve our students’ quality, our students won several VFX awards
as the first place, including the Chaos Group. Thanks to our students, our school could become
one of the best institutes in the world next to famous universities and academies.
Especially in 2021, our students joined “Rookie’s Awards”, where VFX artists all over the world compete.
Our students won the first and the third place in CG & VFX part, and our school was introduced as
“the best VFX education institute in the world”.
Not only that, our school continually won the first place in the world on the row
by the Student Challenge held by Chao’s group, who created V-ray software.

Our education curriculum was applauded not only by VFX artists, but also by VFX software developers.
Our education system is beyond just teaching tools and telling how to use them.
We teach our students to be creators who are able to narrate their own story.
We teach storytelling, planning from the scratch to an artwork, how to do texturing and look development.
We also teach anatomy and animation to bring life to our students’ artworks.
Our students’ quality of work is recognized globally.
Thus, our students have a high employment rate in both the domestic VFX industry and Hollywood.
For overseas employment, your portfolio has to be accepted by them.
You have to make sure your portfolio is in the best shape and have an adequate English requirement to get a Visa sponsorship.
In order to do so, your skill must be recognized by the major domestic companies with keen eyes.
Our SF film school students are working in the major positions in companies
because of their well-educated skills.

Now, many of our alumni are reaching for the global market and heightening our school’s name.
SF Film School will always believe in your dream.
Our instructors are working their best to help you to achieve the dream of your life.

Good luck!

SF Film School.

"The place
where your
dream comes true"

Do you have a dream?

There are two interpretation of the word, "dream"

A "dream" that you have over night, a "dream" that you want to achieve.

What kind of dream do you have?

The robots in the Transformer series, dinosaurs in the Jurassic Park, fascinating spacecrafts in the Starwars series,

superheroes from other universes...

and the enthusiasm you felt when you saw imaginary creatures

on TV and films.

That enthusiasm is now...

A dream of creating an amazing artwork like such and make people to feel the same emotions that I felt.

"The place where your dream comes true"

Anyone has a dream of their own.

But it is not everyone who can make it come true.

That's why people say it is a "dream".

SF Film School is a place for dreamers.

The dreams became the source of passion, and that passion led to a success.

OBJECTIVES OF EDUCATION

08. Effort

Effort and talent are compared in opposite ways.Talent crumbles in front of the wall of failure.SF Film School never produces student works for you.SF Film School students are trained to grow into true artists through a systematic education system and student efforts, not simply creating a portfolio for employment. The results of your study with continuous effort and persistence are a wonderful asset for you for a lifetime.Hard work and persistence will never betray you.

01. Imagination

There is no perfect direction in the world, but we can create a perfect path. That's why we have to imagine what kind of path do we want to create.
Only through imagination, you can set your original plan to create your own path.

02.Observation

You should not look at things just with your eyes; you have to look at things with your heart and think about it. Like Sherlock Holmes once said, you need to observe rather than seeing. Don't get caught up just with the visuals. Ideas arise only through the observation and constantly considering the purpose behind each object in front of your eyes.

07.Passion

There is nothing in this world that can be done without passion. It is the same with the CG field.
No matter how long your path seems, as long as there is a passion within you, you can make it. Our enthusiastic and motivating learning environment will help you to reach your goals.

06.Network

The network between teachers, students and graduates will give positive impacts in your career life. By interacting with our alumni in the professional field, you will be able to learn the know-hows required in the field and have the opportunity to broaden your career path.

04.Creative

'Think Different’. Creativity, scarcity, and differentiating are very important factors for an artist. We will help you to become a creative original artist.

03.Expression

Have you imagined and observed? Now we have to express your impression based on your imagination and observation. By learning various techniques in the CG production, you will be able to express yourself in artistic and professional ways.

05.Communication

The CG field includes a very broad range of technologies (movies, broadcasts, dramas, animations, games, and advertisements). All the staff are excelled at different aspects of a production. The quality of overall production can be enhanced through a thorough communication between the students, graduates, and teachers. Good communication benefit everyone in any team-working environment.
