INTERVIEW:

Hello, This is Kim Tae Hyung, and I am a class of 41.

I was thinking about a field that I could use my technical skills and artistic senses instead of my academic grades. I majored in design and I studied art for my life. Time management is important. First, get your plan and then suit your time schedule as you progress your work. I had a difficult time as I was reaching the last part of my project, but at the end, I finished it. It must be the pressure that helped me. I want to work in a company for three to four years and build career and network with professional co-workers from oversea. Of course, before that, I have to get my skills recognized in Korea first, right?

I was living with my friends for five months as I was studying in SFFS. During midnight, a pipeline broke and the water was spilling all over the house. Fortunately I was awake at that time. Because all of us had our experience of cleaning a scene like this in military, it didn't take us a long time to clean up the mess. The initial plan of my project as to do a film shoot in a bright sunny day and do composition based on that film source. I was thinking of making a creature, but robots from Transformer are popular and I enjoyed working with them, so I got to finish the one with Transformer first. But I am done with mapping, rigging, and lighting the creature model that I designed, so I am thinking of moving onto it for my next project. Well, like everyone, I am spending every hour of my day on my work beside meal time and sleeping time. But I take 5 hours to eat and 15 hours to sleep. Just kidding.

After I finished my education in SFFS, I got employed in 'EON Digital Film'. If you are a student from SFFS, you must have heard a lot about this company. The half of the employees working there are SFFS alumini. I will learn a lot from SFFS seniors working there

*Currently, he is working in Lucas Film in Singapore location*

'No pain, no gain'.

The emotion that you feel on my portfolio. I spent a lot of time wrapping my hands around my head to create that. But such pain and perseverance of going through the pain will be feathers of your wings to a brighter future. I loved sharing tips and constructive criticism among my colleagues from the class of 41. We spent a lot of fun times together. Teachers and staff care a lot about you. I would like to thank teachers for encouraging me when I was making my portfolio.
