Little Hunter
by Tak Bomi
My goal is to become a global VFX artist and someday participate in the production of Marvel movies and put my name on the ending credit.
After watching Iron Man in high school, I interested in VFX . It was fascinating for me to believe that cartoon characters exist somewhere in the real world through computer graphics. While learning VFX, when I created what I imagined using a 3D program,I felt proud that I couldn't express in words and this experience gave me confidence in my job as a VFX designer.

Geppettos' workshop
by Kim dongha
I got to know about 3D graphics from the advertising lecture in university. I was asked to research about 3D with a topic and I found out the most important thing is the audience's perspective. A good video makes the audience feel the story as if they are in the video. I find that it is not easy working as a team with different characters and under changing circumstances. However, it is also one of reasons why I want to work in 3D because making even a short video is made with a joint effort.

Little friend in the forest
by Park Seonghyeon
We asked Seonghyeon Park, a student in SF Film School in Seoul, Korea, and an aspiring grooming artist, to share her tips on how to create fur for a 3D character.
“Little friend in the forest” is a story of a chipmunk. Seonghyeon Park created this scene to show the calm and soothing atmosphere of forest, and most importantly, a cute chipmunk!

Space Vacation – Student rendering challenge
Enock Chung – Jury winner
This project has been started from one short YouTube clip. That one inspiring YouTube clip demonstrated how a trained monkey toasts marshmallow with the flame that he made himself with the match just like humans do in front of the bonfire. Which naturally brings up the image of ‘Vacation’. Furthermore, these humorous and amusing materials looked like they would perfectly fit into the 2022 Challenge's topic 'Space Vacation'. ......

Hwiyeon Cho’s eye-catching “Poppyland” won the Jury Prize in our “Illumination” student rendering competition.
The theme for our most recent student rendering competition was Illumination—and jury winner, Hwiyeon Cho, tackled it perfectly. Her piece, “Poppyland,” features a carousel illuminated by hundreds of lightbulbs. The video demonstrated her talent for lighting a scene and her artistic sense for composition and detail.
We catched up with Hwiyeon to find out the story behind creating this stunning render with V-Ray for Maya.
