I can’t believe how quickly the time has passed. At the beginning, when I first started learning Maya, it felt like the course would never end. But looking back now, it seems to have flown by.
One of the biggest reasons was the great atmosphere within our class. Everyone was motivated, energetic, and passionate about learning, which made every lesson enjoyable. To be honest, one of my weaknesses is that I tend to lose perseverance over time, but thanks to my classmates, I was able to stay motivated and keep going throughout the program.
I also had opportunities to experience things that I wouldn’t have encountered elsewhere, which made the course even more valuable. Most importantly, I’m very grateful to our Maya instructor. Whenever I had questions, whether during the day or late at night, they always responded kindly and patiently, even when it must have been inconvenient.

While learning Maya, there were many aspects of the software that felt unfamiliar, and I often found it challenging to understand and navigate. However, thanks to my instructor's guidance, I was able to overcome those difficulties without losing my interest in the program.

I enrolled in this academy after researching several training programs and attending multiple consultations while preparing for a career change. One of the factors that stood out to me was its convenient location in Gangnam, as well as the academy’s large-scale facilities and small class sizes, which created an environment where students could stay focused and receive individualized attention.
As someone without an academic background in this field, I found many of the concepts difficult to learn on my own. The structured curriculum allowed me to build my knowledge from the ground up while receiving consistent feedback and guidance throughout the process. This made learning much more efficient and helped me overcome challenges that would have been difficult to solve through self-study alone.
Another aspect I appreciated was the opportunity to continue studying and improving even after completing the course. Having access to additional support and resources has made it easier to reinforce areas where I still need improvement and continue developing my skills.

I first discovered this academy because I wanted to learn 3D and develop technical skills in the field. What I appreciated most was how the instructors taught everything from the very beginning and paid close attention to each student's progress and learning needs.
Beyond simply learning how to use the software, I gained a deeper understanding of how to observe and analyze objects, what factors to consider when creating assets, and how to approach projects from a more professional perspective. The special lectures were also incredibly valuable, as they introduced me to other technologies and disciplines that sparked new interests and broadened my understanding of the industry.
Most importantly, this experience taught me that learning is a continuous journey. Over a period that felt neither too long nor too short, I was able to have a very meaningful and enriching learning experience.
While studying on my own, there were many aspects that were difficult to even think about, especially when it came to understanding how multiple software tools connect and work together in a production pipeline.
Through the structured curriculum, I was able to resolve many of those questions and gain a clearer understanding of the overall workflow. More importantly, I learned not only how to use the tools, but also how to work more efficiently and apply better techniques when handling them. This was the most valuable part of the experience for me.

I was fortunate to learn about SF Film School through a connection, and after a consultation, I decided to enroll in the course.
At first, Maya felt both difficult and strangely intuitive at the same time—it was the kind of tool that seemed understandable, yet never fully graspable. Just as I was beginning to adjust, new topics were introduced and the pace moved forward, keeping me constantly challenged and engaged.
Even though I was balancing studies and other work, which meant I wasn’t always able to complete every assignment during class, I tried to review the materials afterward. Going back through the lessons and breaking down each function helped me realize the importance of not only attending class but also practicing independently.
I also asked many unusual or unexpected questions during the course, and I’m sincerely grateful to the instructor for always answering them in a way that was easy to understand.
From spring through summer and into the colder days of autumn, I would like to thank my classmates from the 450th cohort and all the instructors for their support and guidance. I will continue refining my skills on my own and aim to become a more disciplined and capable Maya artist and creator.

I still can’t believe that the Maya course is already over… it feels unreal.
It was a valuable time where I was able to deepen what I already knew and also learn completely new things. Whenever I had questions, the instructor explained things in a way that was easier to understand, which really helped the information stay in my memory.
While taking the course, I also learned about many new programs, and by observing how senior students worked, I felt my previously narrow perspective gradually broaden and expand.

I enrolled in the program with a simple goal in mind: I wanted to explore the possibility of working in the VFX industry. At the time, I had only a vague understanding of the field, but through this course I was able to learn everything from the fundamentals of the software to the various tools and techniques used across different areas of production.
One of the most valuable aspects of the experience was discovering the wide range of disciplines within CG and VFX. Learning about these different areas gave me the opportunity to think more deeply about which path I would like to pursue in the future and what kind of artist I hope to become.
Balancing a full-time job while studying was not always easy. There were certainly times when I felt exhausted and overwhelmed. However, I continued attending classes with the mindset of learning at least one new thing each day, and before I knew it, the course had reached its conclusion.
Looking back, the time passed much faster than I expected, which makes me feel both proud and a little disappointed that it's already over. More than anything, I think the experience was enjoyable because I was surrounded by hardworking classmates and an instructor who was always eager to share knowledge and help us improve.

It feels a bit strange writing a course review already, as if it was just yesterday that I first walked into the academy feeling awkward and uncertain. Through SF Film School, I was able to gradually learn everything from modeling to FX in a structured way, and working on various assignments made the time feel even shorter.
The course was more detailed and enjoyable than I had expected, and it made me want to create a strong portfolio of my own. I did lose some momentum in the middle due to part-time work, but I will regain my focus and continue working hard for the remaining classes.

I thought the Maya course would feel long, but it went by in the blink of an eye. I was very worried at the beginning because it was so difficult, and honestly, Maya still feels difficult even now.
When I work on modeling, modeling feels the hardest. When I do shading, shading feels the hardest. When I do rigging, rigging feels the hardest… it was truly an experience full of challenges and obstacles.
I felt overwhelmed and worried at times, but thanks to the instructor’s help, I was able to improve step by step. I’ve realized that learning truly has no end. I want to continue learning and improving as I prepare for my portfolio.
