Student's Message

The person I was before taking this course and the person I am now feel completely different.

After deciding to pursue a career in CG, I spent a long time studying on my own. While I was passionate about learning, I often felt as though I was facing an invisible wall that I simply could not overcome no matter how hard I tried. However, after taking this course, I was not only able to break through that wall, but I also gained a new sense of possibility for my future in CG.

The course guided us step by step from the very beginning, covering everything from modeling to animation in a structured and comprehensive way. It felt like running a marathon through the entire CG pipeline, steadily building skills and understanding along the journey. Thanks to that process, I reached a point where I could confidently create animations on my own.

Beyond the technical training, I also appreciated the many realistic insights and industry-related discussions shared throughout the course. Those conversations helped answer many of the questions and concerns I had about pursuing this field as a career.

Looking back, choosing SF Film School is a decision I will never regret. In many ways, it feels like a decision that changed the direction of my life.

Thank you sincerely for everything.

When I first started learning Maya, everything felt overwhelming and unfamiliar. However, through the course, I was able to build my skills step by step and gradually learn a wide variety of techniques and workflows.

What I appreciated most was that the course didn't simply teach individual tools or isolated functions. Instead, it helped me understand skills and concepts that can be applied in many different situations and areas of 3D production. This broader approach made the learning experience much more valuable and meaningful.

Overall, the course was extremely beneficial, and it sparked an even greater interest in Maya and the world of 3D graphics. It gave me both practical skills and the motivation to continue learning and improving in the future.

Thank you for all the guidance and support throughout the course.

Student's Message

Since this was my first time studying in the CG field, there were countless moments when I questioned whether this path was truly right for me. Whenever the lessons became challenging, I found myself wondering if I had made the right choice. However, by trusting my instructor and continuing to move forward one step at a time, I eventually realized that six months had passed much faster than I ever expected.

One thing I am especially grateful for is the support I received outside of class. Whenever I encountered difficulties while studying on my own and reached out with questions, I always received quick and helpful responses. Those explanations helped me overcome many obstacles and gave me the confidence to keep progressing.

Looking back, I feel very satisfied with the foundation I have built in Maya through this course. More importantly, I no longer regret choosing this path. Instead, I feel motivated to continue learning, improving, and pursuing my goals in the CG industry.

Thank you for all the guidance, encouragement, and support throughout this journey.

Instructor's Message

I'm truly happy to hear that the Maya course was helpful and meaningful for you.

The purpose of this course was not simply to learn software functions, but to understand how Maya works and how to use it effectively as a creative tool. Now that you've built that foundation, the next step is to apply everything you've learned toward creating the portfolio pieces and projects you've always wanted to make.

Sejin, I genuinely believe that you have the ability to create outstanding work. You've shown dedication, persistence, and a willingness to keep moving forward even when things felt difficult, and those qualities are incredibly important in this industry.

Keep working toward your goals, continue refining your skills, and don't lose sight of the company or career path you're aiming for. With consistent effort, I'm confident you'll be able to achieve what you've set out to do.

And remember, if you ever have questions or run into difficulties, don't hesitate to ask. I'll always be happy to help however I can.

Student's Message

Throughout the Maya course, I was able to quickly develop an understanding of the software's interface and the fundamental concepts behind its workflow. As I learned how different tools and functions connect with one another, I found the experience both engaging and highly beneficial.

What made the course especially valuable was not only learning how individual features work, but also understanding how those features can be applied and adapted in different situations. This gave me a broader perspective on the creative possibilities within Maya and helped me build a foundation for using more advanced techniques in the future.

Overall, it was a meaningful and rewarding experience that has prepared me to continue exploring and applying Maya's many capabilities as I move forward in my studies and projects. 😊

Instructor's Message

I'm very happy to hear that you found the Maya course both useful and worthwhile. As an instructor, that's incredibly rewarding to hear.

Maya is ultimately a tool, and like any tool, its value depends on how we choose to use it. The more effectively we understand and utilize it, the more possibilities we have to bring our ideas to life and create impressive visual work.

As you continue your journey, focus not only on learning new features but also on finding creative ways to apply them. Artists who truly understand their tools are able to produce increasingly sophisticated and impactful work.

I hope you'll continue building on the foundation you've established and create amazing projects in the future. Balancing work while attending the Maya course couldn't have been easy, so thank you for all your effort and dedication throughout the program.

You've worked hard, and I wish you continued success as you move forward. Keep creating great work! 😊👏

Student's Message

Although I had decided to learn the software, I was quite worried because I felt like I knew nothing about Maya. When I started the course, I made up my mind to stay focused on the academy’s curriculum and give it my full effort without getting distracted. Now, after some time has passed, I understand what can be done with Maya, how to do it, and how the final results are created through the process. In fact, I’m still amazed that I’m able to create my own work through that process. Of course, I still need to keep improving to create even better results. Whenever I faced a new challenge, fear tended to come first, but SF Film School gave me confidence. Most of all, as someone who values fundamentals and strong foundations, I’m extremely satisfied because the course helped me build exactly that. I was truly happy to be able to learn something I’m passionate about while enjoying the process.

Instructor's Message

It’s truly an honor to hear that I was able to help! You’ve done an excellent job, and it’s a bit unfortunate that we spent most of our time meeting online because you live so far away. Still, I was really glad that you were able to come in person during the latter part of the course. Keep that spirit of curiosity and exploration that you have now! If you continue investing more time into your work, I’m sure you’ll be able to grow quickly and land a job before long. I’ll be here to help, and so will your fellow students, so don’t hesitate to reach out whenever you need anything. Keep up the great work in the remaining classes, and I’ll see you in the lab!

Student's Message

Before finding this academy, I had already developed an interest in the field of CG and was spending time researching related information and software tools. However, as I learned more about the type of CG work I wanted to pursue, I realized that the field was much broader and more specialized than I had originally thought. Studying on my own was difficult because it was hard to find reliable information, and there were very few people or communities where I could ask questions and receive immediate answers.

While looking into different academies, I came across SF Film School. I started the course while continuing my full-time job and, to be honest, I was a complete beginner. I had little knowledge of CG software, camera theory, or any related fundamentals, so I often felt like I was falling behind from the very beginning—or at least that was how it felt to me. It took me quite a bit longer than others to understand concepts and become comfortable with the tools.

Watching my classmates work motivated me to push myself harder, and it constantly reminded me of how much I still had to learn. Looking back now and comparing where I started to where I am today, many of the things that once made me think, “Why is this so complicated and difficult?” have gradually become interesting and enjoyable. At the same time, I also feel proud that I have made it this far.

There were many days when files disappeared after hours of work, or when unexpected bugs left me staring at the screen wondering, “Wait... why is this happening?” During those moments, I was always grateful to have an instructor who was there to help and guide me.

Although I am still a slow learner and have a lot more to improve, I want to continue learning and developing my skills as long as I have the determination to keep going. Thank you for all your support and guidance.

Instructor's Message

I think most people first become interested in CG because they see something impressive and think, “That looks amazing—I want to create something like that too.” But once they actually start studying, they quickly realize that it isn’t as easy as it seems! Haha.

However, once you push past that initial stage, there comes a point where you begin creating things on your own and start asking yourself how you can make them look even better. In my opinion, that is the most exciting and rewarding stage of learning CG.

Hyein, I think you're very close to reaching that stage. When that exciting period arrives, if you continue to work two or three times harder than you are now, I truly believe you can become an outstanding artist.

You've worked incredibly hard throughout this journey. Congratulations on making it this far, and keep moving forward!

Student's Message

Since I have mostly been self-taught throughout my life, attending an academy was a somewhat unfamiliar experience for me. However, both the instructors and my classmates were incredibly kind and welcoming. In a way, we are all competing for future job opportunities, but because we were part of the same academy, I found myself thinking of everyone more as teammates than competitors.

As someone who has never particularly enjoyed competition, there were times when academy life felt challenging. However, through this experience, I feel that I have finally begun to understand what healthy competition really means. I have also gained a better understanding of how I learn most effectively and what study methods work best for me.

Although I still have some regrets and feel there is much more I could have accomplished during the Maya course, I also have the portfolio program ahead of me. Because of that, I am motivated to work even harder moving forward. Thank you for all the guidance and support.

Instructor's Message

Now you probably understand how valuable it can be when your biggest rivals are also your closest classmates! Having peers around you encourages you to come to the academy more often, helps you fill in gaps in your knowledge, and motivates you to work harder so you can keep pace with one another. Haha.

I've always been impressed by how consistently you came to the academy and spent time studying on your own. Your dedication and discipline have really stood out.

That said, spending long hours at your desk isn't always the most effective approach. If you can manage your time a little more efficiently and focus on quality as well as quantity, I think you'll see even greater progress.

You've worked hard throughout this journey, and you should be proud of what you've accomplished. Thank you for all your effort, and I'll continue cheering you on in the future. Best of luck with the portfolio course! 😊

My time learning Maya has been both enjoyable and incredibly rewarding. When I first started, I knew almost nothing and often found myself confused, but thanks to my instructor's detailed explanations and guidance, I was able to learn step by step and build my understanding with confidence.

Using what I learned in class, I found myself studying every day and often losing track of time because I was having so much fun. It feels like the first lesson was only yesterday, yet somehow the course is already coming to an end. It's a bittersweet feeling to reach this stage.

Thank you for all the effort and dedication you put into teaching throughout the course. I will continue working hard and use everything I've learned to create great projects in the future.

Instructor's Message

Thank you for your hard work and dedication throughout the course!

The course made it easy to learn Maya by teaching everything step by step, starting from the very fundamentals.

What I appreciated most was the opportunity to learn not only the basics of 3D production but also more advanced techniques, such as rendering with V-Ray and texturing with Substance 3D Painter, allowing us to create work with a level of realism and quality close to real-world visuals.

In addition to the regular curriculum, I was able to gain valuable knowledge through the various technologies introduced at SF Film School, as well as through seminars and special events offered by the school. These experiences broadened my understanding of the industry and exposed me to many new ideas and workflows.

Overall, it was a very meaningful and rewarding learning experience. Thank you!

Instructor's Message

I'm truly happy to see how much you've grown compared to when you first started.

What impressed me most was your ability to balance so many responsibilities at once. You continued attending classes while also working hard on your school projects and personal work, and seeing that level of dedication was genuinely admirable.

You've put in a tremendous amount of effort throughout this journey, and it has clearly paid off. The growth you've achieved is a reflection of your commitment and perseverance.

There may still be challenges ahead, but I hope you continue moving toward your goals with the same determination you've shown so far. Keep working hard, stay focused, and don't lose sight of what you're aiming for.

You should be proud of everything you've accomplished, and I hope you'll continue building on this foundation as you move forward.

As someone without a background in this field, I joined the academy with only a vague goal in mind and very little idea of where to begin. At first, everything felt overwhelming and uncertain.

However, after taking the Maya course, I gained a level of confidence that I didn't have before. Now, I feel like I can actually create something on my own and continue moving toward my goals. 😊

I'll keep working hard, create an amazing portfolio, and do my best to land a great job. Fighting! 💪

Instructor's Message

Great job completing the course!

To be honest, most people start this journey with only a rough idea of what they want to do. That's completely normal. As time goes on, however, students gradually discover their strengths, develop clearer goals, and begin working toward them with confidence.

I think you've already taken that important first step. Through the course, you've built a stronger foundation and gained a better understanding of what you want to achieve.

Now it's time to continue pushing forward. Put your full effort into developing your skills, creating your portfolio, and working toward the future you envision for yourself.

Stay focused, keep believing in your potential, and don't give up when things get challenging. If you continue putting in the effort, you'll get closer and closer to achieving your dreams.

Student's Message

It's hard to believe that the six-month Maya course has already come to an end.

One of the things I appreciated most about the academy was the small class size. Because there were only a few students in each class, it was easy to receive immediate feedback from the instructor whenever questions came up. Being able to resolve misunderstandings on the spot made the learning process much smoother and more effective.

I also enjoyed that the classes weren't focused solely on lectures. We regularly had hands-on practice sessions throughout each lesson, which allowed us to apply what we had just learned right away. This helped me understand concepts much more clearly and build confidence through experience.

Another aspect I found incredibly helpful was the support outside of class hours. Whenever I had questions while studying on my own, I could contact the instructor and receive a prompt response. That level of support made a huge difference and helped me continue learning without getting stuck for long periods of time.

Beyond the regular curriculum, I also found great value in being able to view student portfolio presentations and attend industry seminars, including talks from overseas professionals. Those experiences provided useful insights and broadened my understanding of the field.

Before joining the course, Maya seemed like an incredibly difficult program that felt almost impossible to approach. However, after six months of study, I can confidently say that my understanding of 3D art has grown significantly. I feel that my eye for 3D work, my speed within Maya, and my overall technical skills have all improved.

It was a meaningful and rewarding six months, and I am sincerely grateful for all the guidance and support throughout the course.

Instructor's Message

I still remember how hard you worked despite starting from a completely new field. You were always eager to learn, constantly asking questions and trying to understand things more deeply. Because of that attitude, I naturally wanted to spend even more time helping and guiding you whenever I could. 😊

What impressed me most was watching your progress over time. Little by little, you continued building your knowledge and skills, and it was rewarding to see your confidence grow along with your understanding.

Of course, no one fully masters Maya in just six months, and there will still be many things left to learn. But that's completely normal. The important thing is that you've built a strong foundation and developed the mindset needed to keep improving. If you continue studying consistently and take the time to understand concepts one step at a time, you'll eventually reach the level you're aiming for.

Whenever you encounter difficulties or have questions in the future, don't hesitate to reach out. I'll always be happy to help however I can. 😊

As someone coming from a non-related background and continuing all the way toward portfolio development, you've shown great determination and commitment. It's been wonderful to see that effort, and I'm looking forward to watching your growth continue.

Thank you for all your hard work, and keep moving forward toward your goals. You've done an excellent job so far—keep it up! ✨💪😊

Student's Message

Since this was my first time studying in the CG field, there were many things I didn't know, and simply keeping up with the lessons was sometimes challenging. Even so, I genuinely enjoyed the learning process and found the experience both rewarding and inspiring.

One of the most valuable aspects of the program was that it offered much more than just software training. I had the opportunity to attend seminars led by industry professionals and presentations where students shared their portfolio projects and production experiences. Through these sessions, I gained a clearer understanding of the overall production workflow, learned about common challenges students face during projects, and picked up useful tips on how to avoid similar mistakes.

Seeing the portfolio work created by other students was especially motivating. Their projects inspired me and gave me a clearer picture of the level I hope to achieve in the future.

When I first enrolled, I imagined that after six months I would feel like a master of Maya. Looking back now, however, I realize that I have only just taken my first step into this field. Even so, I can confidently say that choosing to learn Maya at SF Film School was the right decision.

I look forward to continuing my studies, improving my skills, and creating a portfolio that I can truly be proud of.

Instructor's Message

Hearing that you enjoyed the Maya course makes me incredibly happy and proud. 😊

Although the Maya program has come to an end, this is really just the beginning of your journey. The goal now is to continue using Maya as a tool to create the projects and portfolio pieces you've been envisioning.

I know balancing work and personal study can be difficult, but it's important not to lose momentum. Even when you're busy, try to spend time working on personal projects, exploring new ideas, and gradually developing the work you want to create. Consistent practice is what ultimately leads to growth.

Seolgi, one of your greatest strengths is your dedication and willingness to put in the effort. You're someone who works hard to achieve your goals, and I believe that quality will serve you well no matter what path you choose.

Keep that mindset, continue learning, and trust the process. I'm confident that if you stay consistent, you'll be able to create a portfolio you're proud of and achieve the goals you've set for yourself.

You've worked incredibly hard throughout the Maya course. Congratulations on completing this important milestone, and I wish you all the best in the next stage of your journey! 😊👏

Student's Message

When I first started studying 3D animation, I only had a vague interest in the field and very little understanding of what the work actually involved. At school, I often struggled to keep up because I wasn't even comfortable using the basic tools required for the coursework.

After enrolling in the academy, I was able to learn the software in a much more structured way. Through the classes and various industry seminars, I gained a deeper understanding not only of the tools themselves but also of how 3D production works in a professional environment.

As the course progressed, there were naturally many moments when I became confused by new concepts and workflows. However, whenever I asked questions, my instructor always took the time to explain things thoroughly and clearly, which helped me continue learning without feeling overwhelmed.

It's hard to believe that nearly six months have already passed. In some ways, it feels like I've only just begun to see the bigger picture and truly understand what this field is about. Even so, I feel that I've built a strong foundation and gained valuable direction for the future.

Moving forward, I hope to continue studying, improving my skills, and ultimately create a portfolio that I can be proud of. Thank you for all the guidance, support, and encouragement throughout this journey.

Instructor's Message

Developing a true understanding of Maya takes a great deal of time. It's not simply about learning individual tools and functions; it's about understanding their purpose, knowing how they work together, and using them to achieve the creative results you envision.

To become truly comfortable with a tool like Maya, you need to experience a wide variety of situations and challenges. Much of that practical experience will come later through professional work and real production environments. For now, however, your most important goal is to focus on creating strong portfolio pieces that will help you take the next step in your career.

It was a pleasure teaching you throughout the course. You learned quickly, worked hard, and consistently kept up with the material. Because of that, I believe you'll do very well when it comes time to create your portfolio projects.

Although the Maya course has come to an end, your journey with the software is only beginning. Keep using Maya regularly, continue exploring new techniques, and challenge yourself to create work that reflects your own ideas and creativity.

I hope you'll continue growing, refining your skills, and eventually create projects that you can truly call your own. Great job completing the course, and I look forward to seeing the work you'll create in the future! 😊👏

Student's Message

I felt that it was too late for me to change my major, and at the same time, I realized there were limits to learning Maya entirely on my own. Because of that, I decided to look for an academy where I could study more systematically.

While searching, I discovered SF Film School and decided to attend a consultation. What ultimately convinced me to enroll was the school's emphasis on understanding the underlying principles behind the software, rather than simply teaching button-clicking techniques. I was also attracted to the fact that the program included seminars throughout the course, allowing students to gain broader industry knowledge and insight.

As I gradually became more familiar with Maya, it was rewarding to see my own growth. Compared to learning through online videos alone, the classes helped me understand not only how things work, but also why they work that way. This deeper understanding has given me confidence that I will be able to apply what I've learned more effectively in future projects.

Although I chose to leave behind the path of my original major and pursue the challenging world of CG, I can confidently say that it has been a decision I do not regret. The experience has been meaningful, inspiring, and well worth the effort.

Instructor's Message

I'm truly happy to hear that the Maya course was such a valuable experience for you.

Throughout the program, you consistently demonstrated a strong understanding of the material, and it was clear that you were able to grasp concepts quickly and apply them effectively. From what I've seen, you already have the skills and foundation needed to create the kinds of projects you're aiming for, which makes me very excited to see what you'll accomplish in the future.

One of the most important things moving forward is to take the knowledge you've gained and start turning your ideas into actual projects. Understanding a tool is important, but meaningful results only come when you begin creating and bringing those ideas to life.

You have a solid foundation now, so don't wait too long to get started. Even small steps taken consistently will move you closer to your goals. At the same time, be careful not to leave Maya untouched for too long—skills develop through regular practice, and it's much easier to maintain momentum than to rebuild it later.

I have high expectations for what you'll create in the future. Keep challenging yourself, continue learning, and start building the projects you've been imagining.

You've worked hard throughout the course. Congratulations on completing this important milestone, and best of luck on the exciting journey ahead. Fighting! 😊👏

There was a time when I was quite confident that I could learn everything on my own. However, as someone who had never seriously studied CG independently before, I quickly realized just how difficult it was. Eventually, I found SF Film School, and it turned out to be the right decision.

Every part of the course was valuable, and not a single moment felt wasted. Being able to learn directly from the instructor and receive real-time feedback made a huge difference in my understanding. Many of the challenges and uncertainties I experienced while studying through online videos and other self-learning resources were resolved through the live classes.

I also enjoyed getting to know my classmates and staying motivated by studying alongside people who shared similar goals. Having that sense of encouragement and accountability made the learning process much more enjoyable.

In addition, the academy provided opportunities to explore a variety of software tools and exposed me to different career paths within the industry. Being surrounded by hardworking students was especially motivating. Watching them grow and striving to keep up with them gave me a valuable opportunity to improve myself as well.

Instructor's Message

There's nothing wrong with self-study, but when you invest the same amount of time, learning in the right environment usually allows you to gain much more. I think that's one of the reasons so many people choose SF Film School!

That being said, I'm not too worried about you, Taeran. You've consistently done well in every area, and there was never really anything you struggled with for long. Your attitude toward learning has also been excellent throughout the course.

As you move on to the portfolio class, I hope you'll continue working as hard as you do now, create some amazing projects, and absolutely crush your job search. I'm looking forward to seeing you in the lab soon! 😊

When I first learned Maya at school, everything felt overwhelming and difficult to understand. However, learning Maya at SF Film School was a completely different experience. The lessons were structured step by step, and the explanations were clear and easy to follow, which helped me build a much stronger understanding of the software.

To be honest, Maya still feels very challenging, and I know I have a lot more to learn. Even so, I genuinely feel that there are very few places that provide this level of instruction and support. More than anything, this course helped me gain a realistic understanding of the industry, the skills required, and how much effort it takes to reach a professional level.

I am grateful for everything I learned throughout the course and look forward to continuing my growth from here.

Instructor's Message

Since Maya was something completely new to you, I imagine it felt quite challenging at times. At the same time, balancing your studies with work probably made things even more difficult, especially when there were gaps between learning sessions.

Even so, the fact that you never gave up and continued all the way to the end is something you should be very proud of. You absolutely deserve recognition for your perseverance and dedication.

As you continue your journey, don't worry if there are things you've forgotten or concepts that still feel difficult. I'll be here to help whenever you need guidance, so don't hesitate to ask questions and keep moving toward your goals with confidence.

You worked incredibly hard throughout the course. Congratulations on making it this far, and I wish you all the best in the future! 😊

Student's Message

Now that the course is coming to an end, it feels both surprising and refreshing. Since this was my first real experience learning modeling, I was excited to have the opportunity to create things like cars and interior environments. Looking back, it was a valuable experience that taught me a great deal.

And of course, I can't forget our class. The atmosphere was always great, and although we sometimes talked a little too much during lessons... well, let's just say those moments became part of the experience! Even so, I honestly think this class was filled with some of the kindest people I've ever met.

I would also like to thank our instructor for always being patient with us. Despite our tendency to get a bit chatty during class, you continued teaching us with dedication and never stopped encouraging us to learn. I truly appreciate all the effort and support you've given us throughout the course.

Hahaha, our class really was something special!

But honestly, every student in the class was incredibly kind, and that made teaching all of you a lot of fun. Gwanghyun, thank you for always putting in the effort and doing your best throughout the course.

Keep up the hard work in your remaining classes, finish strong, and get ready for the portfolio program. Once you move on to the next stage, I hope you'll continue building your skills and create an impressive portfolio that you can be proud of.

You've done a great job so far. Keep moving forward, stay motivated, and let's finish this journey strong. Fighting! 💪😊
