Student's Message

When I first started the course, everything felt overwhelming and uncertain. However, as time went on, I was able to discover the area of CG that I truly enjoy, and it made me realize that choosing SF Film School was the right decision.

One thing I am especially grateful for is the dedication of the instructors. Whenever I encountered problems while practicing on my own and asked questions, they always took the time to provide thoughtful and detailed answers, even late at night or on weekends. Their support made a huge difference in my learning experience.

There were definitely moments when things felt difficult, but thanks to my instructors and classmates, I was able to overcome those challenges and keep moving forward. I sincerely appreciate all the guidance, encouragement, and support that helped me grow throughout the course.

Thank you so much for helping us develop our skills and confidence. I'll continue working hard as I move on to the portfolio program!

I honestly can't imagine what our class would have been like without Jiin! You always brought positive energy and helped create such a fun and welcoming atmosphere. Thank you for always participating with a bright attitude and making the classroom a more enjoyable place for everyone.

Seeing how hard you worked motivated me to support you even more. Your dedication and enthusiasm never went unnoticed, and it was a pleasure watching your growth throughout the course.

Student's Message

Throughout the Maya course, I had the opportunity to learn a wide range of skills across different areas of the CG pipeline, and looking back, it feels like the time passed incredibly quickly. Now that the course is coming to an end, I find myself wishing I had spent even more time making the most of it.

There were many moments when I felt that my skills and knowledge were lacking, but my instructor was always patient, supportive, and willing to help. Even when I asked questions that felt silly or obvious to me, every question was answered with kindness and explained step by step until I understood.

Thanks to that support, I was able to learn so much in what felt like a relatively short period of time. I am truly grateful for all the guidance, encouragement, and effort that went into helping me grow throughout this course. Thank you very much!

Instructor's Message

Hyejeong, thank you for always bringing such a positive attitude to class!

I know it wasn't always easy to keep up with everything we covered, and I appreciate all the effort you put into the course. You worked hard, and you should be proud of how far you've come.

And one more thing—don't ever worry about asking “silly” questions! Haha. The truth is that most of those questions are things everyone wonders about at some point. There’s no such thing as a bad question when you're trying to learn, so please keep asking whenever you're unsure about something.

As you move on to the portfolio class, keep that same enthusiasm and determination. Continue learning, keep challenging yourself, and don't hesitate to reach out whenever you need help.

Good luck in the next stage, and keep up the great work. Fighting! 😊💪

Student's Message

Although I had previously learned Maya at school, I felt that there were still many gaps in my understanding. Because of that, I decided to enroll in the course and relearn Maya properly from the ground up.

One of the things I appreciated most was the opportunity to build a strong foundation from the very beginning. Whenever I encountered something I didn't understand, my instructor always took the time to explain it clearly and thoroughly, which helped me gain a much deeper understanding of the software and workflow.

I was also very grateful for the feedback and advice I received regarding my portfolio. Throughout the course, my instructor frequently shared insights on how to approach portfolio development, and those discussions were incredibly helpful when planning and organizing my portfolio concept and storyboard.

Thank you for all the guidance and support. The knowledge and advice I gained during this course will be invaluable as I continue developing my skills and preparing for the next stage of my journey.

Instructor's Message

Thank you for all your hard work throughout the course!

Since you had already learned Maya at school, I hope this program helped fill in the areas where you felt your knowledge was lacking and gave you a stronger overall foundation.

I remember spending quite a bit of time discussing your portfolio concepts along the way. Having a well-structured storyboard and plan is extremely important because it helps guide the entire production process, so I'm glad those conversations were helpful.

As you continue into the remaining courses and the portfolio program, don't hesitate to ask even more questions. Whenever you encounter something you don't understand, try not to spend too much time struggling with it alone. Reach out to your instructors, ask for help, and make full use of the support available to you.

You've worked hard and made great progress. Keep pushing forward, stay curious, and continue building toward your goals. Fighting! 💪😊

Student's Message

It feels like only yesterday that I attended my very first class, yet somehow the course is already coming to an end. Looking back, the time passed much faster than I expected.

I am incredibly grateful for all the support and guidance I received throughout the program. Not only during class, but also whenever I had questions outside of class, my instructor always took the time to provide detailed explanations and thoughtful feedback. That level of dedication made a huge difference in my learning experience and helped me continue moving forward with confidence.

The seminars led by international instructors were also extremely valuable. They provided insight into different workflows, industry perspectives, and professional experiences, allowing me to gain a deeper understanding of the CG industry and the opportunities within it.

Thank you for all the knowledge, encouragement, and support throughout this journey. It has been a truly meaningful and rewarding experience.

Instructor's Message

The international seminars definitely provide a lot of valuable insights and opportunities to learn from experienced professionals. I'm glad you found them helpful!

Soyeon, you've always participated actively in class, and I've also noticed how often you try to solve problems on your own before asking for help. That's a very important quality, and it gives me confidence that you'll do well when creating your own projects in the future.

Being able to work independently is essential, but it's equally important to recognize when something is taking too much time or becoming overly difficult. When that happens, don't hesitate to ask for help from those around you. Learning how to communicate and collaborate with your peers is a valuable skill in itself.

The CG industry is built around collaboration, and strong relationships with colleagues can make a tremendous difference throughout your career. Continue building those connections with your classmates as you move forward.

I hope you finish the remaining courses successfully and create an amazing portfolio together with your classmates in the lab. I'll be cheering you on and looking forward to seeing what you create. Good luck, and keep up the great work! 😊💪

Student's Message

Looking back on when I first started the course, I remember constantly wondering, "Will I really be able to do this?" Although I still have a lot to learn, I feel proud when I see how much I've improved and how many tools and features I can now use with confidence. It has truly been a valuable and rewarding experience.

One piece of advice I would give to future students is this: whenever you have a question, ask your instructor right away! The instructors are incredibly kind, patient, and always willing to explain things thoroughly, which made a huge difference in my learning process.

As I move on to the portfolio program, I believe everything I learned and experienced during this course will serve as a strong foundation for future growth. I would also like to thank my classmates, who were always willing to help whenever I seemed lost or confused. Their kindness and support made the journey much more enjoyable.

Thank you, everyone, for all the hard work and great memories. We made it through together!

Instructor's Message

People often say that getting started is half the battle, and I think that's very true. Whenever we begin something new, it's natural to wonder, "Can I really do this?" or "Will I be able to make it all the way to the end?" I still remember having those same thoughts when I first entered the CG industry myself. Haha.

But the truth is that nothing can happen unless you take that first step. By choosing to begin this journey and continuing to move forward, Yerim, you've already proven that you have what it takes to succeed.

There will certainly be challenges ahead, and there may even be times when your motivation temporarily fades. When those moments come, don't try to carry everything on your own. Talk with your classmates, share your concerns with your instructors, and lean on the people around you. Sometimes a little support can make all the difference.

Keep working hard, stay focused on your goals, and make the most of the remaining classes. I'm looking forward to seeing you again in the lab and watching your continued growth.

Good luck, and keep moving forward. Fighting! 😊💪

Student's Message

As I began learning modeling in a more serious and structured way, I encountered many challenges along the journey. There were moments when things felt difficult and overwhelming, but thanks to my instructor's detailed explanations and patient guidance, I was able to learn each step thoroughly without falling behind or missing important concepts.

Although the curriculum has now come to an end, I see this as the beginning rather than the finish line. I plan to continue practicing and refining my skills so that what once felt like a vague dream can become a realistic and achievable goal.

Thank you for all the support, knowledge, and encouragement throughout the course. It has been a valuable experience that has strengthened both my skills and my motivation to continue growing.

Instructor's Message

Most people begin their journey with nothing more than a simple interest or a vague idea of what they want to do. Very few people start with a perfectly clear vision or a grand plan. Haha.

What matters most is taking that first step and continuing to move forward. There's a saying: "Though your beginning may be small, your latter days will be very great." I think that idea applies perfectly here.

Jiwon, if you continue putting in consistent effort and maintain the same attitude and dedication you've shown so far, I truly believe that in a few years you'll develop into a highly skilled and respected artist.

Growth doesn't happen overnight, but every hour you spend learning and practicing brings you one step closer to your goals. Keep challenging yourself, keep improving, and trust the process.

You've worked hard, and you should be proud of what you've accomplished so far. Congratulations on completing the course, and I look forward to seeing how far you'll go in the future! 😊👏

Student's Message

I first became interested in VFX somewhat casually and decided to attend a consultation without knowing much about the field. During the consultation, everything was explained clearly and kindly, and I felt that the curriculum was very well structured, which gave me confidence in choosing this program.

Throughout the course, whenever I was confused about something, the instructors always took the time to explain it patiently and clearly. In addition to the regular classes, the academy also provided seminars that allowed us to learn about a wider range of topics and gain valuable insights beyond the curriculum.

One of the most beneficial aspects was the opportunity to hear directly from industry professionals. Learning about overseas career opportunities and receiving practical advice from people working in the field gave me a better understanding of the industry and my future career path.

Overall, it has been a very rewarding learning experience, and I am grateful for all the knowledge and support I received.

Instructor's Message

Hyemin,

You’ve worked very hard throughout the Maya program, and I’m proud of the effort you’ve put in.

Since you tend to be a quiet person, I was initially a little concerned about whether you would feel comfortable adapting to the course. However, you stayed consistent, worked diligently, and followed along very well throughout the program.

One thing I’d like to encourage is for you to have a little more confidence in yourself. CG is rarely a solo endeavor—it’s a collaborative field where communication and teamwork are extremely important. Don’t hesitate to speak up, ask questions, and engage with the people around you. Whenever you're curious about something, ask right away! Any instructor will be more than happy to help and support you.

Continue working hard through the remaining courses, and when it comes time to build your portfolio, don’t be afraid to ask lots of questions. We’re always here to help, and I’ll continue cheering you on every step of the way.

Keep believing in yourself, keep learning, and keep moving forward. You've got this—fighting! 😊🚀✨

Student's Message

I first became interested in SF Film School while researching places to learn 3D and VFX. What immediately caught my attention was the exceptionally high quality of the students’ portfolio work. Seeing those results gave me confidence that this was a place where I could truly develop my skills.

Even for someone with no prior knowledge of the field, I believe the curriculum is structured in a way that makes learning approachable. By following the step-by-step lessons, students can gradually build both their technical knowledge and practical skills, ultimately creating strong portfolio pieces.

Another major advantage of the program is the opportunity to receive feedback and guidance from industry professionals working overseas. Through seminars, portfolio reviews, and continuous feedback from instructors, students are able to refine their work and achieve much stronger final results.

Overall, I believe this program provides an excellent environment for anyone looking to build a career in the CG and VFX industry.

Instructor's Message

Gyuseong,

Balancing work and your studies couldn't have been easy, so I really appreciate the effort and dedication you've shown by consistently attending classes and continuing to learn throughout the program.

I'm glad to hear that the seminars and special lectures were helpful to you. Those opportunities provide valuable insights that go beyond the regular curriculum, and the knowledge you gain from them will become a great asset when creating your own projects and portfolio pieces in the future.

The fact that you actively participated in those sessions means you're taking away much more than just technical skills. The experiences, industry knowledge, and perspectives you've gained will all contribute to your growth as an artist.

I hope you continue applying everything you've learned, finish the remaining courses successfully, and create the portfolio you've been aiming for. Keep building on your progress, stay consistent, and don't hesitate to make the most of every opportunity to learn.

Let's keep moving forward and give it our best. I'm cheering you on all the way—fighting! 😊🚀✨

Student's Message

Hello, Instructor!

First of all, thank you so much for everything throughout the course. 😊

I originally enrolled because I was interested in becoming a 3D Modeler, but as I learned Maya, I discovered that there are many more career paths and specialties within the CG industry than I had initially realized. Because of that, I went through a period of uncertainty and exploration along the way. However, looking back, I’m confident that choosing to learn Maya at SF Film School was one of the best decisions I could have made.

The strong foundation and practical techniques I learned here have given me a clear direction for future growth. Building on what I’ve learned, I plan to continue studying Maya consistently and developing my skills further.

Thank you again for all your guidance, support, and encouragement throughout this journey.

Instructor's Message

You worked hard throughout the course—great job! 😊

There’s still a lot to learn ahead of you, but that’s part of what makes the world of 3D so exciting. In many ways, learning CG is a lifelong journey, and there will always be new skills, tools, and techniques to explore.

Thank you for your dedication and for consistently putting in the effort to keep up with the lessons. I truly appreciate the commitment you've shown throughout the program.

As long as you continue giving your best effort in the remaining classes and keep studying with the same determination, I’m confident that you’ll be able to create the portfolio you want and achieve the goals you’ve set for yourself.

Don’t give up when things become difficult. Stay focused, trust the process, and keep moving forward one step at a time. I’ll be cheering you on all the way.

Student's Message

Maya was the very first program I learned after deciding to pursue a career in CG, so it feels surreal to already be reaching the end of this course. When I first started, I was nervous, and the Maya program felt like a very long journey ahead of me. Looking back now, however, time seems to have passed incredibly quickly. It's a mixture of emotions—I feel both proud of how far I've come and a little sad that this chapter is ending.

There were certainly difficult moments along the way, but thanks to the support and encouragement of my instructor and classmates, I was able to keep moving forward and make it to this point. I am truly grateful for all the effort and dedication my instructor put into helping us learn and grow throughout the course.

I will continue reviewing everything I have learned and make sure to apply those skills effectively in the portfolio program. Thank you for all your guidance and support!

Instructor's Message

I remember how challenging things felt for you at the beginning. Modeling was difficult at first, and then texturing brought its own challenges as well. Fortunately, once we moved into areas like lighting and rigging, you started finding your rhythm and were able to follow along much more comfortably.

You consistently put in a lot of effort, and that hard work really showed. One thing that impressed me most was your dedication—you rarely missed a day and always showed up ready to learn. That level of commitment is something to be proud of.

Of course, there is still a lot more to learn, but that's true for everyone in this field. If you continue working with the same determination and attitude, I'm confident you'll keep improving. As you move on to the portfolio class, support your classmates when they're struggling, accept help when you need it, and continue growing together.

Keep working hard, stay motivated, and let's create an amazing portfolio. Fighting! 💪😊

As I finish the Maya course, I do have some regrets about things I wish I had done better, but at the same time, I feel fortunate to have learned from my instructor. The detailed and thoughtful guidance I received throughout the course helped me gain a deeper understanding of not only Maya itself, but also how I should continue studying and improving on my own.

I am especially grateful for the valuable insights and direction that were provided along the way. Those lessons have given me a clearer path forward and a better understanding of what I need to focus on as I continue developing my skills.

Moving forward, I will do my best to build upon everything I have learned and continue growing as an artist. Thank you for all the hard work, dedication, and support you gave us throughout the course.

Student's Message

Is there another tool as versatile as Maya? Learning a program that offers such a wide range of features and interconnected workflows was certainly not an easy task. As I progressed through the course, I realized that achieving higher-quality results requires much more than simply learning Maya itself. It also involves understanding and utilizing various supporting software that work alongside it throughout the production pipeline.

What I appreciated most about this course was that it went beyond simply providing resources or teaching software functions. We learned not only how to use the tools, but also how the assets and materials themselves are created, developed, and integrated into a complete workflow. Being able to learn the entire process—from production to final output—within a single curriculum is, in my opinion, one of the program's greatest strengths.

Throughout the course, it felt as though I was gradually collecting and assembling pieces of a puzzle. Now, many of those pieces are finally coming together, and what remains is for me to continue fitting them into place through my own effort and dedication.

Thank you for all the guidance, knowledge, and support you have provided so far. I truly appreciate everything you've taught me, and I look forward to continuing to learn and grow in the future.

Instructor's Message

Exactly! It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that Maya is one of the most important tools in the CG industry.

As an instructor, I always try to think about how I can make classes more engaging and enjoyable for students, so I sincerely hope that you found the learning process both valuable and fun.

Taeyoung, I have to admit that I'm going to miss hearing your deep and distinctive voice around the classroom! Haha.

Of course, completing this course is not the end of the journey. There are still many more puzzle pieces ahead of you, and I hope you'll continue challenging yourself, learning new things, and building upon the foundation you've created so far.

As you continue assembling that puzzle, I'll do my best to help guide and support you whenever I can. You've worked hard throughout the course, and you should be proud of everything you've accomplished.

Congratulations on completing the Maya program, and I look forward to seeing the amazing work you'll create next! 😊💪

Student's Message

I worked as a product designer for seven years before deciding to pursue a new challenge. Over time, I began to feel that relying solely on basic 3D tools would limit my competitiveness, and through a recommendation from an acquaintance, I was introduced to the world of CG.

When I first started exploring CG, everything felt overwhelming. I wasn't sure where to begin or how to prepare for a career in the field. However, after joining SF Film School, I was able to build a strong foundation from the ground up. The structured curriculum and guidance from the instructors helped me develop both my technical skills and confidence, making the transition into more advanced subjects much less intimidating.

I am especially grateful to my instructor for always being patient, supportive, and willing to answer questions whenever I needed help. The knowledge and experience I gained throughout this course have been invaluable, and I hope to continue building on that foundation as I move into the Portfolio Program and work toward creating strong, professional-quality projects.

Thank you for all your guidance and support.

Instructor's Message

Now it all makes sense! Every time I looked at your assignments, I could tell there was something different about them. Knowing that you have a background as a product designer explains a lot!

Your experience and design sensibilities really stood out, particularly in your modeling work. While the things we enjoy and the things we're naturally good at don't always overlap, I think there's a good chance that you've found a field where both come together. You seem to have both an interest in CG and a strong aptitude for it.

That said, no matter what area you ultimately specialize in, understanding the entire production pipeline is extremely important. Continue taking the remaining courses seriously and make the most of every opportunity to learn.

One piece of advice: even while you're studying other software and workflows, don't forget to open Maya regularly and continue practicing. It's much easier to maintain your skills than to relearn them later.

You've worked hard throughout the course, and it has been great watching your progress. Keep building on the strong foundation you've created, and I wish you the very best as you move forward into the Portfolio Program.

Great job, and congratulations on completing the Maya course! 😊👏

Student's Message

When I first started the course, I had a lot of concerns and uncertainty about whether I would be able to keep up. However, thanks to the hands-on nature of the classes and a curriculum that gradually progressed from fundamental concepts to more advanced applications, I was able to follow along and build my skills with confidence.

Another valuable aspect of the program was the opportunity to learn about the wide variety of career paths within the CG industry. While I initially entered the course with a specific area of interest in mind, being exposed to different disciplines encouraged me to consider other career options as well and broadened my perspective on the industry.

As I move on to the Nuke course, I hope to continue learning, develop my technical abilities further, and ultimately create a portfolio project that I can be truly proud of. Thank you to all of the instructors and classmates who supported me throughout this journey. I look forward to continuing to learn and grow together.

Instructor's Message

You've worked hard throughout the course, Gyeongyeon!

To be honest, I think I'll remember you as one of the students who quietly and consistently did well without drawing much attention. Haha. Because of that, I sometimes feel like I didn't get as many opportunities to focus on you individually as I would have liked.

That said, the next stage is where you'll really begin concentrating on your own projects and developing your personal work. Once you've completed the Nuke course and move further into portfolio production, I'll make sure to provide even more guidance and feedback along the way.

Keep working hard in your remaining classes, continue building your skills, and make the most of every opportunity to learn. I'm looking forward to seeing your progress and the projects you'll create in the future.

Good luck with the rest of your studies, and I'll see you in the lab! 😊💪

Student's Message

I decided to attend this academy because I wanted to learn CG software and develop my skills in the field. As I continued through the program, I realized that it was much more than simply attending classes—I felt like I had become part of a supportive community.

The curriculum was thoughtfully designed, allowing students to learn even complex and challenging concepts step by step. This made it much easier to build confidence and gradually develop practical skills. Whenever I found myself struggling or feeling lost, the instructors were always there to provide detailed explanations and guidance, helping me fully understand the material and continue progressing.

Overall, I was very satisfied with both the quality of the education and the supportive learning environment, and I am grateful for everything I learned throughout the course.

Instructor's Message

Jeonghyeon,

Balancing your studies while commuting from far away couldn't have been easy, so I’m very proud of the dedication and perseverance you showed throughout the program.

One thing to remember is that CG is rarely something you do entirely on your own. Collaboration and teamwork are essential parts of the industry, so building good relationships and learning how to work effectively with others is just as important as developing your technical skills.

I also encourage you to continue studying consistently and creating as much work as possible. The more projects you complete and the more time you spend practicing, the more your skills will grow. Remember, software skills can fade if you stop using them, so keep practicing and challenging yourself with new work.

Continue giving your best effort in the remaining classes, stay motivated, and keep moving forward toward your goals. I’ll be cheering you on every step of the way.

Thank you for all your hard work, and best of luck in everything ahead! 😊🚀✨

Student's Message

As I prepared for a new challenge, I spent a great deal of time researching CG academies, attending consultations, and carefully considering my options before ultimately choosing SF Film School.

As a complete beginner, I was worried about whether I would be able to keep up with the classes. However, the instructors consistently guided and supported every student, making sure no one was left behind. Whenever I struggled with a concept or found something difficult to understand, they patiently explained it again, which allowed me to successfully complete the program.

Throughout the course, I gained a much clearer understanding of which areas of CG suit me best and what steps I need to take to pursue a career in this field. Although I know there is still a long journey ahead and that achieving my goals will require continued effort and dedication, this experience has strengthened my desire to keep challenging myself and moving forward.

It has been a rewarding experience filled with valuable lessons, and I hope to successfully complete my portfolio and continue growing as an artist.
